I am a grad student at Melb Uni, and my partner is a grad student at Monash. We are looking for a place for our 2 years in Melbourne (may extend more).
Hi all, I will be moving to Melbourne at the end of August to start a new job in the cbd. I am friendly, respectful and outgoing. Very social but respect the privacy of everyone at home. Hiking and travelling is my passion. Been living in Oz land (Adelaide) since '12 and looking forward to spend a few more. I can provide you details of my current and previous mates if you need some more info. Interested in teamups too so let me know if we can move forward together. Any questions hit me up x
German Masters student at the University of Melbourne, into sports, reading, going out to restaurants, bars, cinema, museums and hanging out with friends. Clean and tidy and looking for the same.
Hey! I'm a 33 - year old psychology student, studying over at Victoria University in Footscray Park campus. I like to do a bit of cooking, and would love to have a team cook-out with my flatmates or other similar shenanigans. For my free time, I'm mainly focusing on my studies, and going to the gym. I value cleanliness and consideration above all else. Looking for like-minded individuals who want to live in a clean, calm (especially at night-time), and pleasant environment. I don't have too much of my own stuff, so I'm ideal for households that don't want the property to be crammed with different items. Also for that reason I'm looking for a furnished room. Drop a message and lets have a chat. :)
Hey there! My name is Jasmin. I am Melbourne born and bred. 37 years old and I am a furr Mum to my kitty Toby; an 11 year old house trained ginger, who LOVES to eat, sleep and explore....AND cuddle with anyone and everyone. I have house shared for the last 18 years this year and have met quite a few lovely people on the way. I am a Christian. I am a bubbly, enjoy hanging out, enjoy my quiet time and down time. I don't do drugs, sleep around, smoke, drink much or steal and screw people over. I want to live in a place where I am safe and respected, and I offer the same back. I have around 15 pot plants, lots of Tupperware, a QS BED and bedroom furniture and other bits and pieces- so will need a big unfurnished room and space in the backyard for my plants. My hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday. I also sing here and there on the weekend, when Im at church, and love spending time with friends and family. I like to live in a cleanish house where we all take turns doing things around the house- I do not want to pick up after anyone else, as I have done that before and don't appreciate it. Since my last housemate broke the lease early, I have had to move to a friends house for 2 weeks, but its important that I move by August, as she is having surgery and needs her space back, so I'm keen to move next Friday, as I am off work. Drop me a line and I'll get back to you!! Cheers and peace out homies ;D
Easy to get along with and very helpful around the house. I enjoy socialising with my friends and am a huge music fanatic. I always bring the happy vibes to people around me and am accepting of everyone.
Alex here. I'm writing my PhD in international relations and tutoring undergrads at Uni of Melbourne. I am from the UK/ NZ and have lived in Australia for 2 years. I've just returned to Melbourne from a big overseas research trip, and am looking for a long-term place to call home. Something 6 months+ in a Melbourne inner-city suburb is ideal. I'd like to be able to walk or bike ride to the university campus within 20-30 minutes. A bit about me: I like films/ cinema outings, reading, learning Arabic, hiking, camping, wine, beer, cheese... I enjoy conversations about politics/ IR, sociology, psychology, religion, science, films, books - most things, really! My schedule is kind of ridiculous - I work a lot - so I'm sadly not the best fit if you are wanting to create a super social house, but can still commit to 2-3 evenings a week for housie activities. I'd be happiest living with like-minded people who are politically progressive, working, and 25 years+. Bonus if you would be up for the ocassional cinema/gig/comedy outing or going hiking together! I'd be extremely happy to live with a dog. Admin-y things: I'm a non-smoker, financially secure, good with kids, very dog friendly but allergic to cats. I own bedroom furniture already, but I can sell it if absolutely necessary. I also travel interstate and overseas fairly regularly.
Hey! I'm Adrian, 22, an international student from Mexico coming to study at the Melb Uni for 6 months. I'm a pretty chill, polite, and friendly dude looking for a good, tidy, and social place to live in my stay. I'm really excited to meet the Australian customs and live new experiences, so keep in touch!
Hi there ! Liam and I have been dating for 3 years, we are a pretty fun couple. Liam is originally from Qld, he is a tradesman (very handy to have around ahah), working full time, he is a bit of a workaholic. He aslo spends a lot of time at the gym and loves playing around with tools/car/building stuff/fixing etc. I am a bartender working in the CBD. Originally from France, I moved to Australia 4y ago and now have permanent residency. I enjoy cooking, travelling, reading, but overall, I'm quite a lazy person. We are quiet, private people, but also very friendly and easy going. We are an honnest drama-free couple. We enjoy living in a clean and tidy environment and would like to find housemates on the same page. We are not party people but enjoy the occasionnal drinks. We love any outdoor activities and enjoy going away for the w-e quite often. We'd love to eventually be friends with our housemates. We have a quiet friendly little bunny living with us, and are planning on adopting a dog in a near future. We are experienced, responsible animal lovers. We are currently living in Southbank, but we would like to move out to a bigger place furtherer from the city center, and we would love to share the place with a nice, friendly person/couple. We've found a few places already, so we are now looking for housemates to team up with. We are only interested into places that have ensuites or several bathroom as we don't want to be sharing bathroom. We are looking into long-terme accomodation so would rather find housemates who wants to stay in Melbourne for a while. We are also very interested in existing sharehouses fitting our needs, so if you have a room for us and our furry friends, we'd love to hear from you! Feel free to contact us if you have any questions/ideas!! :)

Hey there! I'm from the US (Minnesota). I have been teaching and living in Indonesia for the past two years, but I will be atttending UniMelb to get my Masters beginning in July. I'm looking for a nice place to live with an easygoing roommate(s) . I enjoy all things pizza and beer related. I'm also very into finding new adventures, hiking, exploring and travelling! Lately I've really gotten into photography as well! I'm not looking for a party house, just somewhere to call home. I do enjoy going out on the weekends, or nights off and enjoying a drink or two..or three . I have an obsession with baking and oftentimes use my free time to make cookies. My current favourite is a delicious cinnamon pumpkin cookie. If I am your roommate, I might make you be my taste tester to help me find the very best recipes! Let me know if you think we'd make a good roomie match. :)
Hi, I'm Jono I'm 32 and I work in construction. I'm a pretty relaxed dude. Work big days during the week so like to chill out on weekend and catch up with mates. I come with a awesome Bulldog named Bam Bam. He is very well behaved and is an outside dog. But he doesn't mind coming in to watch some telly when he is aloud to. Hi! I'm Ruby, 24 y/o makeup artist. I am currently looking for a new *cat friendly* place to call home. I have a small, well house trained half indoor/outdoor cat called Luna and we need somewhere to live by 11/08. A bit about me: I work in retail, I enjoy reading and watching Netflix, I am quite a social person but will never bring that home in regards to parties or anything - not looking for a party house either. Really want to find somewhere I can settle down long term. Thanks
Hey y'all! I'm Fernanda. I've been living with roommates for 8 years so I think I kinda know how it works hehe. I love to meet new people. I always end up being really good friends with my roommates. I like to talk and really get to know the people I live with but I also respect privacy and I do like to get some time alone sometimes. I don't like to have wild parties but I do enjoy being with friends... I always ask my roommates first if there's a problem with having people over. I'm a very positive and happy person. I like to go to festivals, museums and somewhere to dance. I'm going to Melbourne to study a diploma in 3D animation at AIT-Academy of Information Technology (so I'm looking for something near by) and hopefully work part time. Anyways, if you would like to know more let me know (: Cheers!
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
I'm neat & tidy and employed full time. I work in customer service on a rotating roster so sometimes I like a sleep in and sometimes I'm out the door before the sun comes up. I do like to keep to myself mostly but can be quite sociable also. I'm not a party guy, but sharing a bottle of red over a good (veggie) meal is right up my ally. I'm Melbourne born & bred, newish to the west (moved this side from the south-east about 2 years ago). I'm ideally looking to live with people from any walk of life who want someone reliable and easy going to help them with rent & bills.
Hi there, I'm Katharina, a 31-year-old crazy German, and I will be in Melbourne until the end of December. I would love to share a flat because I always enjoy meeting new people and I prefer living with others rather than living alone. I would like to live with somebody who does not regard sharing merely as a way to save costs, but who likes to hang out together. I have lived with many different people from different cultures and in different countries and most of my former flatmates became close friends. In my work, I do research in behavioral economics (to be precise, on conflict resolution, the integration of refugees and anti-corruption) and in Germany I also teach in these subjects. While I'm here, I only do research and thus will have more free time ;-) In my spare time, I love playing music (I play the piano) or going to concerts, doing sports (rowing, running, swimming, hiking, climbing, yoga), cooking and enjoying dinner with good friends, playing board games and dancing / going out. I'm an outdoor person and like to spend my weekends in the mountains or with other outdoor activities. I would be glad to hear from you! Katharina
