Hello potential housemate I am a 25yr old Australian working full-time in the construction industry looking for a long term house. I am clean, tolerant, indiscriminate and learned in the ways of housesharing. I play the drums in a band and have come to terms with the fact i cannot play them at home due to the excessive noise and subsequently hire rehearsal room's in order to practice. I cherish all things music and would love to share a house with likeminded individual's. Thanks
My name is Kelvin, I recently moved to Melbourne from Perth due to work. I currently work at the National Australia Bank. I'm a sociable person who's able to gel with different types of people. Super keen to meet and interact with new people. Personal characteristics: clean, tidy, strive to eat healthy, gyming few times a week, love my old school music, born in Australia - my background is Mauritius, enjoy heading to a bar every odd weekend, and love to read in my spare time.
My name is Maria, 26 years old, and I come from Ecuador. I am a very relaxed and respectful person who knows how to clean up after myself and can cook amazing meals to share! I am very fun to be around and I am looking to share a home with people I can call friends. On my spare time I can be found reading, cooking, watching some netflix, playing my uke, or playing on my nintendo DS, but if you want to play sopme board games, join me watching series or would like to have a nice chat and a giggle with some wine or beer you are more than welcome to tell me so and I will be delighted. I love to go out to music gigs or concerts, and acasionally to a club to dance, but I am not looking for a party house! I would prefer to live among people who are studying and working (like myself). I dont smoke, love animales and the outdoors. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi! My name is Mahmud and I am a tidy, responsible person from Bangladesh looking for a furnished private room in close proximity to University of Melbourne during my Masters program. I'm social, friendly and understand the importance of personal space and respecting your housemates. I have lived abroad in student dorms and flatshares during my undergrad in USA and my exchange program in Netherlands. I will spend a lot of time with my work/studies but would love to meet new people and share the occasional beer and drives during weekends! I am a non smoker (though I dont mind if others do), love to watch tons of movies/series, play poker, travel around, hang out with friends, go to events and try new activities. I am more than happy to help with the house chores and take care of the rent/bills in a timely manner. Looking for a relaxed, friendly house environment and not a party house. Would prefer to stay for a minimum of one year with the rent(including bills) around 200-210/week. Feel free to contact me! :)
I would consider myself a well-organized and respectful person. I love hanging out with friends and doing outdoor activities as well. Reading books, playing piano and chilling in music are what I spend most of my time on at the moment. As an international student, I spend most of my time studying and also looking for a part-time job. I am also really into cooking so it's a benefit for anyone living with me. I don't have any pet but I'd be more than happy if I can live with them.
I'm a 23-year-old recent Swinburne Graduate. I was born in Poland and moved to Melbourne about 3 years ago. Unfortunately, my flatmate with whom I have been living ever since I moved to Melbourne is now moving out and I have to find a new place to stay. I'm young yet mature, very easy going and respectful. I'm interested in art and design, enjoy going to art galleries and exhibitions in my free time. I usually cook at home every second day, I'm very tidy and rather quiet. I don't own a car so I would prefer to stay in a place located relatively close to public transport. If you own any animals it's a massive bonus cause I love pets, especially dogs :)
My name is Pratik and Im a recent graduate from Deakin University. I have been living in Melbourne since last 2 years in Burwood and now plan to shift closer to the city for work. I completed my studies in Sport Management and Im currently employed with an ice hockey team in Melbourne. I like healthy lifestyle but not too fussed about it. Love playing soccer, TT, cricket and almost all board games. I like cooking and sharing food, helps grow a stronger bond. I like binge watching historical documentaries and conspiracy theories with some Netflix and live sports. Love trying new interesting things and I mostly don't mind anything my housemates do, as long as there is mutual understanding of keeping the house liveable. Im always up for a monthly housemate night where we go out or hang in and chill. Won't prefer a dead house where I get home from work and no one even talks a word. I think Im very social that way but also respectful and mindful of people's privacy and choice. If that seems someone you can live with, then do let me know! 🙂
I'm a 22 year-old full time graphic designer working in Collingwood. I'm sociable and fun to live with but like most people I need some space every now and then. I'm looking for a place that won't be more than 1.5 hour travel to my workplace during peak hours. I would love to live with people who I can also be friends with, are tidy and respectful.
I'm working full time and studying a Master of Public Policy on the side. Auspol and higher education policy is my particular game, but I love a good discussion about anything with a bit of ambiguity. Looking for an organised household that knows how to kick back and celebrate the wins, and with a pretty practical attitude towards home admin.
Hi there! Before I introduce myself, please don't form your opinion about me based on my age, I happen to be 21 going on 40. My name is Clarissa and I'm 21 years old looking to move out from my current place to save money! I'm hoping to move end of Feb or start of March, so if your place is available for then please let me know! I'm looking for an unfurnished room which can fit a double bed and desk. I am currently working full time at a Finance firm in East Melbourne and studying Accounting part time. I can be quite the workaholic so most nights I get home late or I'll be at uni. So I would preferably like to live near public transport, I do have a car but not high priority to take with me if there's no parking. I am easy-going, friendly, quiet, tidy and reliable. I am more than happy to socialize and help around the house but also happy to keep to myself. I'm no party animal but loves a good chat or hangout. Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs so unless they're a hypoallergenic breed, I can't live with pets :( I go mountain biking on weekends and love yoga, Netflix, baking and can be easily pursuaded to order a cheeky Ubereats or Foodora. Although I'm looking for a home, I'm also hoping to make some lasting friendships! Feel free to message me for more information! :)
I’m a 25 year old architect recently graduated from Melbourne Uni. I’m currently working in Prahran for a small architecture practice so I’m looking places around the CBD, anywhere that is somewhat close to work/short travel time . I’m pretty easy to talk to and always pretty much up for a chat/pint of cinder. I spend my free time reading a fair amount or doing some extra design work on the side to earn them extra bucks.

I'm a lawyer looking for a long-term place in or close to the CBD. I'm open to joining an existing flatshare or teaming up. (Move-in date is flexible.) I am super easy to live with, have no annoying habits and have always got on very well with flatmates. As a full-time worker, I'm well attuned to the need for space and quiet time. I'm also very responsible with rental/bill payments (I managed all the outgoings at my last place) and with keeping the place clean and tidy. In my spare time I enjoy talking about the news of the day, going to classical music concerts, and cooking and baking (and yes: you would be welcome to share in the results!). If you are interested in teaming up, please feel free to send me a message so that we can have a chat about our preferences.
Hello! I'm a Communication/Journalism student at RMIT (qualified to have good chats with housemates) and a pretty easy-going gal. I work part-time in admin and as a uni student magazine editor, which keeps me occupied during the week. Looking for a friendly sharehouse that's walking distance to speedy public transport that can get me to the CBD and Box Hill. Enjoy going to the gym, design, media, reading, nature (mostly in the form of picnics), going to gigs, having a boogie and bike-riding. After reading over that, I definitely need some new hobbies.. Would be overjoyed if there were some veg/vegans in the house, as I'm vegan. Fine with the room being furnished/unfurnished or having existing pets. Available to move in Jan for an ongoing stay of 3 months or longer. Am flexible with the details (can even do a back bridge). I'm tidy and will definitely do my share in keeping the house clean! Hoping to pay under $200pw in the suburbs/neighbouring suburbs listed on my profile. Let me know if you have a house that's a good fit! :)

Hi my name is Ella and I'm a 25 year old QLDer who has just returned from 2 years living and working abroad and have decided my next adventure will be living here in beautiful Melbourne! I'm a clean, easy going and considerate non smoking housemate who loves a friendly chat and a bite to eat. I just started working full time in the CBD and would love to be a part of your home. Looking for a place to move into ASAP so please contact me :)
I returned to Melbourne a few months ago after living overseas for many years. I’m loving being back and reconnecting with old friends and all the good things Melbourne has to offer. My work is music-related; I’m a sound engineer and concert manager. I’ve picked up some great work since returning, and this year is looking good - my diary is certainly filling up. Accommodation-wise I’ve been doing a mix of house sitting and staying with friends for the last few months. I’m now looking for somewhere for the short term, possibly longer - it's all open to discussion - and preferably furnished. I know what it takes to share a home in terms of good communication and keeping things hassle-free, and I'd like to live somewhere where things are kept generally clean and tidy (as an ex-home helper I'm a dab hand with a dustpan and brush) and the place ticks along nicely. I'm probably more suited to living with over-30s. I can be quiet at times but am by no means antisocial. I enjoy reading, music, science and nature and derive ridiculous amounts of pleasure from cryptic crosswords. Don't let that put you off, though! I like to have a natter and a laugh and share occasional meals when the opportunity arises, whilst also respecting people's need for a bit of quiet time and personal space. I do yoga, walk a lot and am generally active, enjoy cooking and eat pretty well. I’m a non-smoker and not much of a drinker, but certainly don't mind if you're partial to a tipple. Do get in touch - I'd love to hear from you.
Hey! I'm a very easy going and chilled out guy from a small town in North Eat Victoria wanting to move down to Melbourne. I currently work as a cleaner and have a history of jobs so getting a new one won't be something to worry too much about. I tend to keep to myself but I've been told I have a nice sense of humour and will always be down for a good conversation. Although I lack in cooking skills I make up for them by enjoying cleaning and don't find it a task at all. I enjoy the casual drink and having a good time with friends while keeping respectful. I will be bringing my large/anxious/incredibly sweet American bulldog with me too, as she is the absolute love of my life! She is a 'sleep in my bed' type of dog but is 100% house trained and will hang out and give you kisses while I'm not home. So honestly the only requirement I have for a housemate is for them to be kind and love her.
Easy to get along with. Clean, tidy and respects shared spaces. I'm from the UK on a working holiday visa, I'm looking for somewhere short term 4-6 weeks in order to be in a settled environment for work prior to travelling the east coast. Looking for a furnished room max rent $260 per week inc bills in North Melbourne/ Carlton/ Carlton North/ Fitzroy/ Fitzroy area. I enjoy the social aspect of living with people - watching films, cooking meals etc. whilst appreciating everyone needs their own space.
