Me and my boyfriend have just relocated to Melbourne from London and are looking for a sociable, friendly and tidy house share - ideally anywhere around 2+ months. I’d say we are both outgoing people who love a drink, playing sports and travelling - but love a night in watching tv and enjoying a takeaway just as much!
I've recently moved to Melbourne from Perth and am looking for a fun place to live! I'm 28, working full time as a facade engineer in the city and easy going. I only came here with some boxes of clothes and a motorbike so I prefer being outdoors in my spare time either at the gym, hiking or reading. Would like to check out places in Melbourne and see what's good out there, don't mind the occasional pub or bar venture and good conversations! Looking for like minded hassle free people, would prefer a place for a minimum of 6 months. 😊
Isaac and I are both bubbly, positive people! We love all kinds of music, movies and tv shows! We're both working full time, Isaac works in construction, and I work in hospitality as a barista We are looking for a short-term stay of about 3-4 months
My name is Hyun, like HYUNDAI but without DAI at the end ;-) I’m a former hotel housekeeper and renovator..., very handy around a house. I'm respectful, sociable, tidy, independent and well rounded. Looking for a temporary place to stay for 5 weeks until I can move into my new apartment in Preston.
looking to join a home (not just a “share house”) for at least 6 months + I’ve lived in a share house previously for 3 years so plenty of experience with sharing spaces, being respectful and tidy. I’m tidy especially in common areas but not OCD. I’m 29 and work in public health as an occupational therapist. I’m old enough to be in a comfortable job and enjoy nice things but still refuse to spend more than $20 on a bottle of wine. Enjoy all your stock standard Melbourne hobbies (no need to list them all) as well as playing outdoor soccer, and attending the occasional festival/Dj. pretty quiet during the week but like to see friends and go out on the weekends. Im an experienced responsible adult - paying rent/bills (on time) and contributing to household chores. Looking to live with people who are easy going, tidy, happy to chat and share a meal/drink when schedules align. I’m also a decent cook (not opposed to cooking for you) Flexible with move in dates - any time October onwards
Hello people! I’m a fun kiwi girl working full time at a cool cafe and teaching assisting occasionly. I love getting active, outdoors, socialising, brunching and all that jazz. Also clean & tidy, respectful of down time and space. Looking for some flat mates who have the same kind of idea. :)
I am a warm friendly person who respects other's space and independence so i ecpect the same. I prefer cooking my own vegetarian food. I work full-time day shift for Australia Post. I am tidy simple staight forward person Regards Pradeep
Hi all! I am Elsie and I am a current Queenslander in the process of moving to Melbs permanently! I have been in share house situations for over six years and I am looking for a similar situation with likeminded people. I’m currently doing my Masters in Education and work two jobs as a receptionist and a Visual Art teacher aide. My interests are fashion, vintage, art, good food and hip hop. I am quite a social person so I am looking for people to live with who share similar interests and don’t mind being my friend too. I also own a bunch of appliances and furniture with me and I am happy to contribute those to the communal household. Looking forward to hearing from you! X
Hey I'm Dom! Grew up in France but now living permanently down under. Currently working for vicpol and switching stations into the city. On a day off, brunch and coffee places for good chats with friends is my go to thing. Always up for a game of any sports and am always keeping up to date with my favorite TV series (in desperate need of a GoT fix!). On a work day I'm usually either sleeping or acclimating to my shift schedule and keeping to myself, still up for a chat nevertheless! I'm currently looking for a semi spacious room with desk space and ideally an en suite bathroom but can forgo it if housemates are clean :). That said I am tidy and clean and hoping my fellow future housemates are considerate in that regard too! Big no no's: Student accomodation, drugs, criminal records. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey guys! 27 year old French girl, I’m back in Australia for a second year of working holiday visa. I lived in Sydney for 7 months and then went on a road trip around the east coast and the bush to do my farm work. Freshly back from a road trip in the US (yup, discovered a passion for those!), I’m moving to Melbourne this time at the end of October. I obviously love travelling but fell in love with Australia last year and I’m so excited to see what Melbourne has to offer. I work in hospitality ; I was a general manager of a live music venue in London for a few years but also studied Marketing in Paris, industry I would like to go back to in Melbourne. So if that sounds like the perfect fit for your houseshare, hit me up! Cheers, Lara
Hey Hey, I’m Karo and moved from Perth to Melbourne about a year ago. I rented an apartment with a friend and our lease runs out on the 19th of November:) I'm looking for an empty single room with a BIR for a long term stay. I’m German but have been living here for 4 1/2 years and have rented my own apartment before so I’m happy to take over a lease or even rent a new place if anyone is keen. The places I’m looking at staying would be city, Richmond, abbotsford, kew, hawthorn, toorak, southbank, south Melbourne. I’m pretty easy going, clean and responsible. I work on weekends though so I’m looking for a quieter place:) Can’t wait to hear from you Karo
I am moving from Auckland, New Zealand to pursue a PhD in Melbourne. I’m social, love to cook and I’m clean and tidy. Reliable and easy going by nature makes me easy to live with.
We are a young international couple, Melissa (German/English) and Mike (Aussie/English), that have decided to relocate to Melbourne after graduating from the University of Leeds in the UK. We both studied in the Social Science sector and as Mike is originally from Aus we decided to move to pursue careers in social/sustainable housing in the fastest expanding city in the country... We're an outdoorsy couple that are always looking for the next adventure/challenge, we’ve just finished a roadtrip road Europe saying goodbye! I'm an avid traveller and Mike is an ultra-marathon runner. Because of this we’re looking to move into a relatively quiet home with likeminded people/couples. We're up for enjoying some wines and coffees with housemates, although we won't subject you to eating the food we try to cook! I would be great to live with a group that also want to fully explore Melbourne and the surrounding nature!
Hi all, I moved down to Melbourne from Queensland at the start of last year to start work as a physiotherapist. I love what Melbourne has to offer so would prefer to be closer to the city. I've lived in share houses for a few years and have been lucky enough to share with some pretty great people. Happy sharing responsibilities but am a terrible cook.. I'm always up for adventures and exploring and ideally would like a place that feels like home, so would love to find someone social to move in with that could become a friend rather than just housemates. I also have a car so I would be looking for somewhere that at least had on-street parking. If anyone is looking to team up I'd be super keen as well. Preferably in a 3 bedroom place to split costs more but open to anything. Please only contact me on the website as right now I'm living in flight mode. I may take a couple of days to reply as I'm in and out of wifi!
My name is Daniel, I’m 21 from Sydney. I’m relocating to Melbourne for work in mid November. I’ll be working at the Moonlight Cinema in the Royal Botanic Gardens for the season. I’m a tidy, friendly and sociable guy, who loves a chat, but am respectful of others privacy.
I've been a full time musician in London (where I'm from) for the last 2 years, while making songwriting trips to Nashville (USA). I heard some cool things about Melbourne, so I've booked a one-way ticket and I'm here to see what the city has to offer. I'm very easy-going, up for hanging out or happy doing my own thing. I read a lot, I tend to learn languages as a hobby, I've got an MA in Music Business, I'm pretty good at cooking and I'm an optimist :)
I'm an actor/singer from Perth and just moved to Melbourne. I'm fun, easy going and friendly. I love singing, acting, watching movies, netflix, travelling, and hanging out with friends. Hoping to find a place close to the city or somewhere close to public transport.
Hi, this is Pichamon or Mickey (for the nickname), from Thailand. I am a Master's degree in Law student at the University of Melbourne. I am quite jolly and easy to become friends with new people. Typically, I enjoy a conversation on topics like music, movies, arts, technology, and even about life in general. I also like to stroll in the city, visit different cafes, and take a walk in the park in my free time. Looking for a house with friendly, quiet, and relaxed atmosphere and definitely not looking for a party house. If you are looking for a flatmate who is respectful, not a party animal kind of person, yet still fun to be around, please contact me. I'll be happy to hear from you :-) * Looking for a place to stay for 6 to 8 months * Private room only
Hello! I am looking to live in a share house. It is important to me that this is a quiet house as I will be entering Honours next year. I also would prefer a desk to be able to fit in the bedroom or a place where I can study undisturbed. I would also like for there to be a BIR if possible. In a perfect world, I would love for an ensuite/own bathroom and some form of air con in the room. I am a social being and I would like to live with people who aren't scared to have a chat. Looking to hopefully bring along my ginger cat.
I'm a Canadian living and working in Australia for a gap-year before going back to school to do a masters in Occupational Therapy. Would prefer female room mates or a couple. Im likely to stay a few months but would prefer a short term commitment, 2-3 months+, as my plans may change (will give ample notice before moving out). I'm very social and easy-going, describe myself as an "extroverted introvert" as I love being out with others but do enjoy my alone time as well. I'm happy to share dinner or a glass of wine on a Friday night but do like to get out into the city with friends often so I may not always be around! I'm happy to meet for a coffee or a beer to chat or am available for a quick phone call to set up a viewing.
We are a quiet student couple, we like to share with other people but have privacy, we like sports and watch movies at home. We are learning English and we like to learn by making some friends.
I've recently moved to Melbourne from Brisbane for work and looking to find a good place to live with an awesome housemate or two. I'm pretty flexible with move dates but looking between now and end of Nov. I'm looking to find a nice 2 bedroom/2 bathroom place and I'm happy to pay between 250-350 a week. Ideally I'm looking to have the master room with an ensuite and I'm happy to pay a higher portion of the rent for it, I also don't have a car so wouldn't need a car space. (Not completely against sharing a larger place with 2 roomies if the right deal comes along). I have furniture in storage and have enough to fully furnish the house. I'm a full time mon-fri worker in insurance, located in Brighton. I'm quite clean and prefer a comfortable but tidy household. Im generally pretty quiet and and a bit of an introvert during the week but do enjoy to be social and like to get out and about and also have friends over for dinner or drinks intermittently. Hoping to find someone similiar, who can be social but also enjoys having downtime. Also LGBT+ friendly is a must. Hit me up if you've got a place that suits or keen on teaming up and finding a place!
