We're a Spanish couple that has lived in Ireland, England, Italy, Switzerland anf of course Spain and we're now trying to enjoy our year here as much as possible. We keep it chilled during the weeks and are up for everything during the weekends. Either having a bottle of wine, cooking or going out to a concert or to play some sport works for us, and we'll be making trips every now and then. We've lived on our own, in student accomodations and with other people, so we know the importance of respecting everyone's space while trying to keep a family vibe within the house 🏡
We are two tidy and organized recently graduated girls on our Holiday Working Visa from Canada. We are very active, friendly, easy going, and open-minded individuals who are looking for a place in Melbourne and not too picky about which suburb as we are new to the city. We are not picky so we wouldn't mind sharing a room with one another in a one bedroom either. We both have lived with other housemates in the past so we are open to joining others in an existing house as well. Our max budget is 220 p/w each or 400 p/w for a one bedroom apartment.
I am very easy going, clean and reliable - excellent rental history. Moving from Tasmania to Melbourne to start new job at Royal Children's Hospital as a Social Worker. Hoping to slot into an existing share house. Looking forward to exploring Melbourne but also looking for a share house which is respectful of quite time and my experiments in cooking Middle Eastern meal.
Hey! Easy going, respectful/ tidy guy from rural Vic, wanting to make a go of it in the city. Studying full time, will find retail work post exams. ll I really need room for is a bed and a desk. Looking to live somewhere near the outlined suburbs. Am open to leeway but no further out than thornbury. Into science, sport, fitness. Fancy writing but not necessarily very good at it. Would be good to live with some friendly people!
Hi we are tree guys from Italy who are in in Melbourne with the WHV. We are bartenders and we are looking for a quiet place in the centre of the city, nearby the bars we want to work in (preferably in the CBD or Fizroy). We are very quiet people that just want to live this fantastic experience with a roof over our heads.
Hey, I’m coming in from San Francisco, CA. Moved here for a job and now looking to find a solid home and housemate(s). I work in fitness, love cooking, read a ton, and I even create youtube videos (search my name and you'll find them easily). Having a relaxed home environment is really important to me which means living with people of similar interests, a clean place I can be proud of, safe and inclusive for everyone to be themselves. I love having a ton of plants around and try to keep common areas neat. I’ll be in school getting certified for personal training, starting my own health coaching business, and helping get a spin studio off the ground here in Melbourne then Sydney then who knows! I was a hairstylist for 10 years, and read tarot. My sidekick (dog) Hilo is along for the ride; he’s 8 and the sweetest most well behaved animal you’ll ever meet so any Pet lovers/owners I would be down to chat. Actually I want to meet anyone who might resonate with tidy, fun, relaxed and responsible. This is a new adventure for me and I'm so excited to be here, everything is lined up now all I have to do is find a good spot to call home. Thanks and good luck everyone
Happy Day, y'all! My name is Kayon (pronounced "Crayon", but without the "r"). As you could probably tell by my use of the word "y'all", I'm from the USA, California to be exact. California's nickname is "The Golden State", and my personality lives up to my home's namesake! I hold a Bachelors Degree in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. I have been traveling the world for the last two years. Places visited include South America, Central America, the Caribbean, Scandanavia, West Europe, and Asia. Current stop: Australia! I am in Australia on the Working Holiday Visa, and hope to work in research or other science-related fields during my stay in Melbourne. When I am not moving from one country to the next, I enjoy fencing, hiking, working out at the gym, and learning languages. If you're looking for someone to speak English, Spanish, German, or French with, then look no further! In addition to my language skills, two years of living in hostels and homestays, as well as two years working at Berkeley as a conflict resolver and community developer to university students living on-campus, have made me well-versed in communication and sharing spaces with others. I look forward to telling you more in person! Have a blessed day.
I'm originally from the UK, and just moved to Melbourne after a year in New Zealand. I'm really sociable and always keen to make new friends but I do like my own space too and a good Netflix binge. I'm clean and tidy and can provide flatmate/landlord references from UK and Wellington. I love stand up comedy, pub quizzes and having a dance on the weekend! Non-smoker.
Hi! My name is Mizuki from Japan. I will move to Melbourne on 19 Sep so I would like to find somewhere to live for a while. Either Melbourne or Adelaide is currently my interest. I am social and friendly. Love to clean and tidy up room. I would like to live with people with international minded. I look forward to hear from you! Thank you Mizuki
The boring stuff... I'm currently living in Wellington, NZ but I am moving to Melbourne by the 1st of November (but can pay for a couple of weeks before I move there). I am hoping to find a house with an outdoor area and near transportation to get to/from the city easier. A bit about me, as much as I love a cheeky glass(es) of wine, I do also like my own space to read, try being creative and nap. I grew up with a mother who thought a spotless house was messy so I have some cleaning PTSD. But cleaning and baking are my 2 biggest stress reliefs so if you lived with me you'll have a tidy place but might gain a bit of weight depending on how stressful my week was....If required, I can learn to bake healthier alternatives.
Hello I'm Tasman I am 24, work full time at Lune Croissanterie in Fitzroy ( yes you will get freebies ) and in my spare time study music theory and production. I like Seinfeld, wine and Prince. I'm a great housemate and have been flat sharing for several years now. I'll be out of your way as I keep pretty busy.
Hi! My name is Alejandro Saravia, I'm 26 years old, born and raised in Argentina and just arrived Melbourne after a year of being working and traveling around New Zealand. Let me tell you a few things about myself, I work as a Bartender and I love it! I've been doing it for the last 4 years and now I'm gonna be working as one at Mesa Verde Tequila Bar. I'm a pretty chill and happy person that love to have a good time every now and then but also enjoys just chilling and relaxing after work. Thanks a lot in advance, Alejandro.
I am a friendly, clean & tidy person who likes Movies, Music, Food, Drinks, Travel, etc. I enjoy communication so one can always come up for chats. I do enjoy drinks & don't wait for a weekend to try tasting something new. I like to be social & keen to explore various places around for cuisine, drinks. Looking for a place to stay which is like a home. Basic Cleanliness, Communication & Respect matters. Happy to help & contribute towards maintenance of the house. Regards.
Hello! I'm Julia, 27 from the US, coming to Melbourne on a working holiday visa. (Will be seeking employment upon arrival). I have a fun, bubbly personality. I am out of the party phase, however do enjoy going out and having a good time. I keep a clean and tidy house/ room and am respectful of others.
Hi pals! I'm Karina, 27 year young female! I am looking for a private room to rent in December (I may not move until early Jan, but happy to secure and pay for the room anywhere from the start of December onwards). I'm making the country to city move for my job in forensic psychiatric nursing, i will be employed full time, working shift work and also studying my masters. I will more than likely return to my home town when i have annual leave - so i probably won't have a lot of free time! My social life in the country usually consists of skiing/stand up paddle boarding/camping on the river or just having a few beers at the local! I'm pretty chill, and a bit past the hectic party scene. But i don't mind sitting down either at home or in a chill pup having a few frothies. I am looking to share a house with some new found friends (not just be strangers), in saying that i also like my own space and mindful that others do to. Ultimately i'd like to live somewhere where i can share a meal on a Sunday or every once in a while, chill on a week night and have a bbq during the summer. I don't mind a board game, a game of table tennis or pool (i'm super competitive). Looking for house mates that are like minded! I do however, come with super cute baggage. My 11 month old British Bulldog puppy, Missy. Who loves cuddles from any human! She's very much a lap dog. She spends pretty much all daylight hours outside, and usually sleeps inside with me. She doesn't bark, unless there is someone unfamiliar approaching a gate or front door. She doesn't chew things (other than her toys) and doesn't dig. She is extremely well behaved, house trained and loves to go for little walks. If you have a place with a small backyard, and think we could join your fam. Please feel free to get in contact! We'd love to hear back from you!
Easy going couple from New Zealand who love music, gigs and camping festivals, design, cooking, DJ'ing, travel, snowboarding, reading, exercise and socializing! Jon is a Digital Designer and Sacha is a Speech Pathologist, both working full-time and cycle to work. We have now been back in Melbourne a year after a few years overseas living in London and Japan. We are very clean, considerate and like to live in a homely place, we wouldn't say No to a dog either! We would love to hear from you!
Hi, i am 20 years old, I am aussie, I work full time from 8 to 5, hoping to move in with people who are polite and are easy to get along with, I am respectful to rules and I am reasonably tidy and won’t bring and problems and I won’t create any
Hey future flatmates 🌈 I'm Emy 23 yo, from Italy, who is constantly looking for adventure and new places to discover, but I feel like it has come time to find a space to call home. I'm into coffee, tea, spirituality, meditation, yoga, natural beauty, energy, techno, psytrance, classic music, festivals and bushdoofs. I love movie nights, cooking together some yummy food with a glass of red wine and the voice of Freddie Mercury in the background. I prefer to learn from people and experience than books. I'm attracted to arts and creativity. This is my second year in Australia and I'm looking for beautiful souls to share a roof with for 6 months I work full time in hospitality and I always pay my bills in time I have flat sharing experience, I'm clean and tidy and happy to follow a cleaning rooster. I know how to respect People's privacy, but I'm also looking for people willing to create a "family" vibe in the house, not just a place to sleep and eat. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions. 🌻
Hi there! I am currently looking at moving closer to where I work in Parkville - tired of the commute from the other side of Melbourne! Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for about 3-4 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). As well as working full-time, I participate in things such as music rehearsals & other activities, so I am not at home very much. When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
