Hi, I'm an Electrical engineer from Newcastle NSW and I have been working in Melbourne for three years, with another contract extension to 2026 I have been share-housing for 16 years and have been responsible several myself so I am very familiar with household etiquette. I am considerate of noise, willingly contribute to shared consumables/chores, and enjoy socialising when the opportunity arises. I am a bit of a people-person. I enjoy the gym, yoga, motorcycles (but I just sold my Ducati :/ ), reading, watching documentaries, learning new things and making conversation. Open to sharing a lease on a large house/penthouse and can contribute $400 - 500 for my portion alone, so would consider leasing a place for $1,500-2,000 pw with a couple of others. Due to the nature of my work I require an air-conditioned room. I also do not wish to be contacted by someone subletting rooms - I would like to join a proper share-house, not a boarding arrangement. I am not interested in sharing an apartment unless it's exceptionally large. Please also note the suburbs I have listed, or be within 5 km of the CBD.
