Im a very neat, tidy and respectful person who cleans up after myself and is always happy to lend a hand around the house. i also have a golden retriever Willoh, who is the sweetest most placid dog you’ll probably ever meet so please take into consideration that she will be moving with me 😄 thank you.
Hi Hobartians! We are Ricky, 28, originally from Fremantle WA, an electrician, and Kayleigh, 25 from Lincoln, UK originally, currently working full time at Salvos. Kayleigh has lived here a little while, in a sharehouse in Lenah Valley, but her lease is coming to an end in September, and we are looking for a room together! Both very experienced with living in sharehouses, eco minded and energy conscious (and looking for a like minded household), sociable, love outdoorsy stuff, sustainability, music, going to gigs, cooking. Ricky is a footie fan and mountain biker, and Kayleigh is into organics and horticulture, natural building etc. Both love binge watches of The Office. Also building out a van together to live in, so would love some place with parking! Drop us a message if you think we'd be some chill roomies!
Looking for a place around Kingston/Lenah Valley/Hobart/Rosny. My move in date is flexible but looking to find a place before September. I have a car so having parking/off street parking is important I am a full time health professional working in the city. I'm an easy-going guy, who can cook and clean. I enjoys the outdoors, seeing new places, playing basketball, going on hikes and 4WD/camping. I respect privacy but also enjoy company like watching Netflix at night or have a meal together
I’m easy-going, friendly, quiet and can tidy/clean up after myself. I’ll be re-locating to Hobart for work mid August. I work full time in the health services. I’m a none smoker and enjoy the occasional drink. I live hiking, cycling, exploring arts, music, good food, and finding new cafes to hang out. I’m looking for a place with one or two others of similar age, short term to start with, while I get settled in to a new city and surroundings. I may extend this if I find the right place. I’m over the party houses but enjoy cooking and having dinner and wine occasionally. Feel free to get in touch.
I'm in my mid 20s. I work in IT and I am studying Community Support. I'm gay. I'm looking for a room in a great sharehome, or a group of people who want to work together to set something awesome up. Ideally within walking distance of either the city or the UTAS Sandy Bay campus - but a short bus ride near lots of routes is good too. I'm really keen on finding a home with people who share my values. When I'm not working or studying I like to play games, do crafts, read, and socialise. I love listening to and playing music. I like a friendly and social household, where people can hang out together and cook shared meals - especially a BBQ! I like a respectful household where shared spaces are always welcoming. I like to chat and hang out, but I also like to be able to have space when I want. I'm a big fan of communication. I also am keen on sharing the cost of a cleaner. I don't have very much in the way of furniture, but I do have bedroom stuff plus a TV and surround sound, some consoles, a NAS, and a fantastic Wi-Fi system. I also have a good internet plan that I would be keen to transfer to my new address. I like to be able to have guests over occasionally, and who can sometimes stay for a night or a few.
We are both from the Netherlands. We have been together for 10 years and starting our new life in Tasmania. We are quiet, though like a chat but will mostly keep to ourselves. We are looking to share a house with people who value cleanliness and hygiene. We are looking for a double room in a share house anywhere not too far from the centre of Hobart.
I work as a property manager, Mon-Fri. Most of my evenings and weekends are taken up by soccer, going to the gym or spending time with friends & family. I am from a place near Cardiff, in the UK but have been living in Hobart for 6 years. I am looking for a friendly, clean and easy-going environment.
My name is Kedar and I'm male, aged 21 from India. I am studying my Masters in Environmental Management at UTAS and complete the course at the end of next year. I consider myself social, although Uni is often busy and sometimes I am a bit quiet. I am clean and tidy and very respectful of other people’s space. Ideally, I am looking to sign a medium-term (1-2 years) lease for a single room in a neat and tidy house, with good public transport accessibility. I am ready to move in at the start of September, but I’m quite flexible with this. A decent Wi-fi connection is also a must. I'm creative, especially musically and I enjoy the occasional jam. Although it’s just as a hobby, I have a little home studio to record and make music. I also spend a bit of time in the kitchen, though I do not consider myself an expert by any means. Just like anybody, I enjoy a good shared meal and conversation and even the occasional drink. When time permits, I often look to gardening combining this with my love for cooking. Recently, I have been making changes to be more sustainable and it’s a massive bonus if the people I live with have similar values. I love animals, having done some zoology in my undergrad and am extremely comfortable around them. In summer, my love for nature often drives me out of home and I enjoy adventuring, bush-walking, swimming and looking for cool wildlife and plants. I currently work part-time, working in online customer support for a scholarly writing platform called Authorcafe, that helps students and lecturers collate and publish research. I volunteer when I can find the time, helping UTAS students and lecturers with their projects. Since my parent live back in India, I have good experiences living in sharehouses having lived with people from many cultures and backgrounds, including Australian. This will be my 4th year in a sharehouse. I am therefore quite independent and experienced in sharing houses.
Hi everybody! I just moved to Hobart to become part of MONA’s culinary team. I'm a full-time chef and I'm just starting this job which makes me really excited. I don't know how to describe myself but I'll do my best. I'm a 29-year-old Mexican girl who loves travelling and exploring my surroundings. I'm really easy going, respectful, kind, tidy, who loves to have a good chat or watch a movie or series. But at the same time, I like enjoy my time and privacy. I'm looking for a place close to work, with friendly flatmates :)
Hi! I'm a 26 year old studying Ancient History at UTAS. I'm looking for a new long-term rental as my current landlord has decided to sell at end of my lease. I am pretty laid-back, respectful, quiet, tidy, friendly but introverted (I tend to read or watch Netflix) I would love a place where people are around in the evenings to catch up. I love books and movies/tv shows (particularly horror and fantasy/sci-fi!) history, pizza and having the odd drink of a good cider. I don't drive, so good access to public transport is a priority
I'm a grown up, non smoking guy, self employed in IT, moving from San Francisco to Hobart to be near my girlfriend while she finishes her thesis.
Hi 😀 I'm a super clean, generally quiet at home yet plenty self-expressed woman, passionate about dance, dessert (I like to bake!), and dogs 😊 (A beautiful black kelpie will let me visit her weekly). I seek a *smoke and drug-free* comfortable, homely and sunny space (not too chic, not too shabby) where I can contribute my energy and share deliciousness in the kitchen, store some stuffs, maybe create art, and to veggie garden for therapy and sustainability :) I am also doing my bit by doing my best to aim for living zero waste. I should add that ideally I desire a quiet and calm space with only 1 other, maybe 2, and without children. I'm not a recluse however - I do enjoy deep intelligent conversation and a safe social environment! 😊 Did I mention I like to cook and feed people? 😉 And I do so regularly at Source Community Wholefoods 😁 I love all animals and if possible, would love to come with my one absolute lovebug of a feline boy rescued from a garbage bin (!) and his spirit brother who due to his first weeks being torturous, is less social. I've also raised a few hens who can supply golden yolks if you don't mind (but will rehome if necessary) 💛 For the love of fresh air, stars and energetic solitude, I prefer a quiet green space (less than 25 mins to town) to tight residential but am certainly open to options 😀 Please, let's talk rather than text 🕉 Smiles, Sufiyo
