Hi 😊 looking for a nice place in cairns close to the city. Am looking for a house with 1 or 2 other people. Am easygoing and enjoy housie dinners and chats 🌮✨ I work full time as a civil engineer and when I’m not working I like catching up with friends, gym, hiking and dabbling in whatever hobby I have of the moment 😂 I have lived in cairns for 5 years now (moved up from Wollongong) 😊

Hello! I'm an American who's just recently arrived in Australia. I enjoy learning other languages (French and German at the moment but I like learning words in others too!), and outdoor activities. I'm a tidy and outgoing person, who's open to watching movies and hanging out with my roommates but I usually spend my time doing my own thing. Like many other backpackers, I'll be working in the Hospitality sector to earn my 88 days. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! Looking forward to hearing from you!

$300/week•22-23 year old woman and man
My partner and I are looking for somewhere to stay in cairns until the end of the year, around november/decemeber. We are two laid-back individuals, who do not party very often and know how to respect other people's privacy, but are also up for a good chat and laugh. We both enjoy cooking, yoga and being outdoors and would love to find a place that has some sort of garden space, but are not too fussy.

I am first year graduate optometrist that is moving to Cairns from Geelong roughly mid August this year. I am an outgoing person that loves adventure. I do love going to the gym, social drinking and playing touch footy. I advocate sharing house cleaning duties, respecting house rules, etc., and am someone that believes in respecting others equally. I am respectful of one's privacy if need be as well. If I suit as your ideal housemate, do message me!

$200/week•58 year old woman
I would consider paying more for the right property and living in a suburb not listed. May require a small space for storage of boxes. Would be happy to sign contract if required. While I don't use air conditioner often, having one would be a bonus. Access to dependable internet service would be great. Prefer within close proximity to public transport. I am clean and tidy so hope others are same. Have own toileteries but contribute additional funds towards cleaning products and other. Don't smoke or drink. Prefer if other occupants smoke outside with windows and doors closed when doing so. No loud music constantly. Like to have a chat but also like my privacy. Have 2 friendly well behaved outside dogs so will need secure fencing and an outside area with shade for them. Willing to pay the extra council fee for my two dogs, if there is already a dog at property. Budget of $200 pw (if possible to include utility bills and internet). Can provide police clearance and proof of vaccination. A police clearance from other tenants would be a bonus.

$250/week•61 year old woman
I am a 61 year young, broadminded single Australian woman originally from Sydney. I am self-reliant, upfront, say it how I see it and not shy to say so, love a giggle and get on with most people. I have a driver's licence, don't have a car....just a pushie, so being close to Public Transport is essential for me. Oh, I DON'T do any social media! I'm on a pension and moved to Cairns almost 5 years ago from the Whitsundays after leaving a long enough relationship. I moved here on my own and have always had difficulty acquiring accommodation on my own here in Cairns, yet I have never had a problem renting houses on my own in the past. I have been living in a "so-called" Share House with 3 others (a 33y/o woman, a 41y/o boy and a 67y/o male) for 3 years now and I believe the lease on the property is over in July and I also believe we will ALL be asked to vacate the premises(NOT that we will be given notice), so I am looking for accommodation again!! I have also house/pet sat for several friends and acquaintances over the years, here and even gone back down the coast to help mates out! In the last 2 years I fractured my right ankle, then my left heel and then a fractured right shoulder so I am still recovering somewhat but I ride my bike almost every day and get about. I have tried during these past 3 years to find other housing with people I have met here, only to be let down and most other share accommodation I have seen are not suitable to me as they cater to men mainly and more often have 5+ people in them! Too many for me! I was recently working casually but unfortunately had to give it away due to my heel injury that I am still recovering from but I am looking for other work atm and confident I will find some?? I ride a pushbike, I love to cook and garden, I enjoy a drink and a dance and I am definitely clean & tidy, more than I can say about my current housemates!! I know how to share the load and mind my own business in a household but also do not appreciate being taken advantage of at the same time. I do various crafts IF I have the space available as I used to have stalls at various local Markets. I rarely go out at night so being disruptive late at night is not an issue but I am not adverse to a late night!! I'd prefer not to share with men only but I am also not opposed to it depending on the situation. I do have a storage shed in town that I also pay for fortnightly because I did have a life once...lol. It can stay there but wouldn't mind some of my own creature comforts but mainly I just need somewhere to live! Would really appreciate being considered, thank you!
