Hey there! Looking for some similar people to live with in a sharehouse. Don't mind if a join a hood or we start a new one in a new house. Preferably would like to live with 2-3 others to be able to afford a decent place but not drain the bank. I'm Extremely clean. Easy to live with. Responsible. Have a good renting record. Work multiple jobs to support a decent income. Love socialising, music, drinks and hanging out. I own/operate a music mixing and mastering business so I'd require a room to live in but also another room to work from. Ideally, I'd love to find a place which had a granny flat (separate room away from the house) where I could do my work. Hit us up if you're interested!
*I'm looking to move somewhere in or around Melbourne City/Carlton/Hawthorn/Northcote/North Melbourne vicinity. I’m in Melbourne right now so please get in touch.* I'm Berto from Gold Coast of Macauese descent, wishing to find a room/place or team up. I'm friendly, clean, tidy guy who likes travelling, food and more. I'm happy to cook for myself or others on odd days and up for occasional night out or just stay in and chill on sofa with others watching movies/tv shows. Not only will i be your housemate but also want to know all well so we be comfortable around each other from the get go. Indeed I also respect others personal space and privacy. I embrace diversity and up for making new friends as I am new to Sydney surroundings. I've studied and worked in U.K. since younger days but recently back Oz to settle and ultimately like to get a place here soon . I'm a self employed mixed media guru although open to many other interest as i like to learn new things. Cheers! :)
Hey there! I'm Davy, a 26 years old PhD student. I've been living in Melbourne for 3 years and would like to find a new accommodation somewhere in the inner north suburbs. Ideally to share with 2 or more people. My hobbies include (but aren't limited to) going to gigs, hiking, chilling out while drinking craft beers and procrastinating instead of doing my research. I like to think that I'm open-minded and always appreciate an interesting discussion where I get to know your pov. I would like to find housemates that are willing to do some activities together. Could be cooking, jamming together (I play the guitar), going out or even just having a chat over dinner. Whatever floats your boat! If you're interested, send me a message. I would love to see the house/apartment and chat with you and the other housemates. Cheers
Hello I am a 23 yo girl looking for a new home! I currently am studying at La Trobe and working part time in retail. Looking for a chill house to move into in the Northcote/Thornbury area, walking distance to High Street is necessary. I enjoy hiking, travelling, yoga, cooking and drinking. I enjoy socialising and entertaining on weekends. Garden space is a must! Would like to find housemates that I can share a beer with. I eat a mostly plant based diet, happy to live with people of any diets. :) I am looking to move in ASAP
We are two high-school friends from QLD both working part time and studying full time at La Trobe. Our lease runs out in February next year and we are looking for somewhere else to move as we will not be renewing our current lease. We're both easy going, clean and respectful humans. When we're not studying or working we like to watch some Netflix and have a cheeky Bev or 3 and play some cards. Shoot us a message if you have two rooms that would suit or would be keen to find a place to start our own share house :)
Hi everyone, My name is Romane, I am a french girl coming from Paris. I am 20 year old and currently doing a bachelor degree at KEDGE Business School. I have lived for a year in Budapest, Hungary in a shared flat, so I am already very familiar with living together with people from different culture. I had very good time in Budapest, I can't wait to go to Melbourne. I will stay in there for 6 months to do an internship. I am really outgoing, clean, I like to party but also stay at home and chill. I am looking for a room in a flat not far from my office preferably. More than flatmates I am looking for friends to enjoy my time in Australia and maybe travel a bit. Please, feel free to contact me if you are also looking for a flat or if you already have a flat and you are looking for flatmates.

Hello! I'm looking for a new home! I'm 29, vegetarian, love craft beer, music festivals, bass music, meditating, running and cleaning ;) I'm looking for a calm and happy household, I tend to be out the house a lot, but when I'm home I really value knowing my housemates and getting along. I work full time 9-5, happy with long or short term & happy to go on the lease. Ideally I would like to move by around mid December but I'm flexible for the right place. I look forward to meeting you! :)
Love to cook/clean/host/explore and are considerate roommates. We are a couple from Canada, who are well traveled. Getting Masters in physiotherapy, while the other half will be working full time in sales. Excited to experience everything that Melbourne/Auz has to offer.
*Edit - Have potentially secured a great place in Thornbury/Preston area but need 1/2 people to join us! (8 Hay st, Preston). Vegan, eco-conscious, respectful, and friendly. Brendan works in the sustainability field, likes to grow veggies, draw and paint, play ice hockey, go bouldering, camping and hiking. Originally from Adelaide. Mark works in the transport industry, is big into photography, ice hockey, and bouldering. Originally from Brisbane. We're both well travelled and have lived in a number of sharehouses before (and still great friends with former housemates!) We'd love to join an existing sharehouse or create our own. We'd also like to get a rescue dog and start a veggie patch.

Used to living with both guys and girls so either is great
Hey Flatmaters! I'm Emily-Rose, a 30-year-old Communications professional who likes counteracting all the chocolate I eat with gym sessions and pole dancing classes. I'm a Melbourne local, and have a big and varied group of friends so I spend most weekends out socialising. I adore pets, and would ideally like to adopt a 'lil kitty in my future place, but would be fully responsible for the important things like keeping it alive. I'm looking to move in mid-late January, and am fully house trained. I've lived in both great and awful sharehouses in the past, so I know exactly what I'm looking for in the housemate department. Hopefully that's you! I tend to be more comfortable with women, but am open to everyone so long as you're not an awful human being and you like to have a chat every now and again 😊 My future home will be relatively new (i.e. mama wants a dishwasher), with lots of natural light, and preferably close to a park. I have minimal household stuff outside of my bedroom, but would happily invest in some big-ticket items if needed. I'm also very interested in hiring a cleaner once every 2-4 weeks to take the biggest burden off the household stuff. If this all seems good to you I hope to hear from you soon!
Hello, my name is Hien! 🙂 I'm responsible, considerate and communicative. I always pay rent and bills on time, clean up after myself and work to keep common areas clean and comfortable. I do my best to be accommodating and am always respectful of other people's needs. I value open communication and compassion. I'm seeking long term rentals as I'd like to settle somewhere for at least a couple of years, preferably more. My budget for both rent and bills is up to a total of $850 per calendar month, so I am looking for places that are $750/month or less in rent only. I have good rental history, can provide references from previous real estate agents and housemates, and prefer to go on the lease contract. I prefer areas with a lot of diversity and good community vibes. I come with my own bedroom furniture and not much else, but I can chip in for big household appliances (fridge, washing machine, dryer, etc.) if needed. I prefer that non-consumables like furniture and appliances in common areas are shared. I buy my own groceries and make my own meals but don’t mind the occasional communal meal sharing or activities depending on my schedule. I'm 22, currently studying an undergrad in Criminology and Philosophy at University of Melbourne, and hoping to get a career in social work/advocacy. I'm finishing my contract in December so will be looking for another long term position then, but I’ll still have regular income from government benefit and shift jobs. On top of that, I have set aside enough money to cover bond + rent and bills for at least 6 months. I do have a lot of commitments and keep my own schedule so I might not be around much, but I'm happy to be social when possible. I don't get to actually cook often but I like to try out Vietnamese recipes when I do. I also make smoothies or other types of drinks and bake sometimes. Hope to hear from you!
The best things in life are free, and then there’s tea. I am an easy-going, sociable person who won’t knock something until I’ve tried it. Good for a chat over a beverage of choice; tea, vino, etc. I am moving from Brisbane and ready to go on adventures in between study and work. I am partial to a good (read: bad) pun and live music.
I'm a 25 y/o male, country-born and relocated to Melbourne in 2015 to attend university. I plan on returning to uni next year as a full-time student. I'm clean, friendly, and I leave the TV remote in obvious places. Dogs also take an immediate liking to me. For recreation I read, play video games and run begrudgingly. I'm also a bit of an audiophile and a film buff, so in my spare time I enjoy listening to music and watching movies (and talking about them with like-minded people!) I'm relaxed most of the time and wont bother you if I'm not.
Hi there! I'm a local that just got back from overseas, looking for a cool new home. I’m easy to live with and am normally pretty busy between work and adventures. I enjoy socialising, reading, doing design work and exercising in my down time. Clean, tidy and will always pay bills on time.
I currently work part time as a community mental health practitioner. In my free time you'll find me practicing yoga, reading up on various forms of philosophy and spirituality, drinking coffee (or talking about how much I love it), communing with nature, having a boogie, singing for no good reason and attempting various creative endeavors. I'm usually away every other weekend going hiking and camping. Really hoping to find a relaxed and supportive household, full of friendly but independent souls. I would really love a place where the house and housemates feel like a sanctuary from the sometimes soul-crushing world. I value open, honest communication in a house and occasional chats over dinner or a cup of coffee. Very enviro and socially conscious, and would love a place that shares those values. I also possess the bill paying and cleanliness skills of a responsible adult.
Hello Melbourne, An English guy goes to the doctor because he wants to become Irish. The doctor tells him he has a surgery for that... “What we’ll do is remove 20% of your brain and you’ll be good as Irish.” After the surgery the doctor calls the patient in to tell him - "Sorry, but we made a mistake during your surgery. Instead of taking 20%, that’s how much we left you with." And the patient like... “Ahhh no worries, mate!” I'm British and Australian so calm down. Others may fairly accurately describe me as an adventurous geek, among other more or less pleasant things. But in general I'm a positive-natured, open minded and down-to-earth kind of guy. A few of the things that I enjoy to do are rock climbing, festivals and the occasional night out. Also work full time for Australia post. Home to me is a place where i can relax, share good times with those around me and let loose when the occasion calls. As a roommate you'll find I'm always down for a good chin wag over a $5 bottle of Aldi wine. I enjoy cooking up the occasional feast and I'm always down to lend a helping hand. I also think its important to be respectful of boundaries and keep shared spaces and my own reasonably tidy. Currently looking for 2-3 others to team up with and find a place to lease, shoot me a message if you'd be interested.
