Hi, I am Ali Ahmad from Pakistan, 26, graduate from London and new in Melbourne. I will be studying Master of Data Science in Deakin Burwood. Looking for a place to live near Deakin Burwood. I am a friendly guy who likes to hangout and make new friends and take pictures. We can have fun on the weekends too.
Hey! I'm Brie and my friend Billie, my spoodle and I are looking to move in with another roomie. We think we're cool, we're pretty easy-going and we're just looking for a third person to fumble through life with us. We're looking for someone who;s around our age to become our friend, watch movies and have a laugh with us, but all the while being respectful of space. My hobbies include food, going to markets and writing while Billie is very much into fashion. We're both quite into music and very open to new things. Don't mind if you're a guy or a gal, as long as you're a good, fun person who wants to form a little family. Billie and I are both students who work part time. While we're not moving in for another few weeks, we're looking to get to know you before we all move in together. Our budget for a house is less than $200pp/week.
Hello! My name is Millicent and I have recently moved to Melbourne from Hobart to study Psychology at Deakin University in Burwood. I am looking for a furnished room to rent in a beautiful home, close to uni :) As a housemate, I am clean, tidy and respectful. Being eco-friendly and sustainable is important to me, so I avoid using plastics wherever possible. I am also really friendly and easy going. It's really nice to be social and go out, so I always make time for connecting with friends :) On the weekend I enjoy going out for coffee, going to art exhibitions and seeing live music- so it's a good thing I'm living in Melbourne! During the week I like to study at the Library, and I try to stick to regular full-time hours which are 8:30am to 5:30pm. Eventually, I would like to work as a Psychologist and Social Worker. Feel free to contact me if you think I will be a good fit for your home :)
I work full-time, quiet, keep to myself, enjoy a beer or two......just looking for someone respectful and fun to live with

Hi, I'm Nick, a 26 year old uni teacher of linguistics, Italian and mathematics looking for a lease to sign on to. During semester I'm on campus teaching most if not all weekdays (times varying, but roughly 9am-5pm). I'm also heavily involved with the Dante Alighieri Society, so some evenings and weekends I help run events related to the Italian language and culture. Otherwise I can be found reading, listening to music, watching political satire or playing computer games. I'm also a Star Trek fan and an origami enthusiast. Possibly best described as a friendly introvert, I tend to do my recharging by myself while still most of the time being up for a chat at the end of the day. I'm hoping to live with communicative, open-minded and honest housemates. Looking for people who are friendly, happy to chat and can respect boundaries. Looking for a home that we can maintain and feel comfortable in together while maintaining our independence. I've got some not-quite-FODMAP dietary requirements and sometimes teach late classes, which basically means that everyone else gets more cheese/onion/wine/etc while I organise my own (blander) meals. I've got a year-old front-loading washing machine that could find a new laundry to live in. No pets of my own, but potentially willing to become a cat's uncle.
Alexandra: I work in retail while studying Biomedical Science full time at Deakin University. I enjoy gaming and baking and am a bit of a clean freak! Ethan: I work in retail also and am also studying full time. I too enjoy gaming and like things to be clean.
I’m clean, tidy, bubbly, willing to help out whenever I can. I don’t look at people I live with as house mates but more like family. I would like to put aside time where myself, my fiancé and the people we are living with can have a night together and just do whatever we feel like doing. Grab a few snacks, make some nachos and cookies or brownies and watch a movie or binge watch Netflix. I love baking, gardening, crafting, sport and whenever I’m home for a couple hours there’s a highly likely chance that there will be a meal cooked for dinner that we can all share with dessert. I love animals and I have a dog of my own. She’s a small Siberian husky named Winter and she’ll be moving with me. She sleeps majority of the day and is very gentle. She’s super cheeky but that’s purely because of her breed. She’ll love to have a conversation with you and she’s a very friendly dog. She’s mainly an inside dog but if she needs to be outside, she’ll stay out until I bring her in for the night.
PhD student and casual academic at Deakin University! We are Omanis. (YouTube/Google Oman and you will love it) I finished my bachelor in Oman, master in Germany and now doing my PhD in Australia. My brother Ahmed and I are searching for 1 or 2 rooms within the budget. If you are interested to team up for 2 or 3 bedrooms place in Hawthorn or its surroundings it will be great. I love coffee and walking by the beach. I like to share meals with my flatmates. I like walking, running, swimming, boxing, spinning and tennis. My brother likes yoga and personal development I work pn my research during the week and hang out at the weekends. I like the place I'm living in to be clean and tidy and to be able to call it home. My flatmates must be: - clean and tidy (including keeping the common area, toilets, and kitchen clean and tidy) My flatmates preferred (not a must) to be: - speak French, Spanish or German (I know some of each, and I want to practice them in our free time). If you speak Chinese and willing to teach me that will be great too. I love to learn languages.
