Hey hey all potential new roomies!! I am a 36yr old chick, who has played the share accommodation game before, so I am very familiar in how the whole thing rolls. I was renting my last place for nearly13 years, but it was 2 storey, & due to some health reason I unfortunately had to bid the house goodbye, & now looking to start the next chapter in a single level dwelling. I am looking to stay living around the Charlestown/ Warners Bay area's, but not further out than Warners Bay either. I would ideally like to find someone between the age of 30 & 40yrs of age to find a property & to co sign a lease with, I know this is probably a little discriminating to all those awesome people who fall outside this age bracket but I am just past the stage of where my house is a frat house every weekend, but I am not quite ready for bowls, bingo & the purple rinse brigade just yet either. I am fairly easy going, who loves a chat, & doesn't mind whipping up a feed & having a cheeky beer or vino. I am looking to move asap. So if all that sounds like I am someone you would potentially like to move in with, then flick us an email or give us a call. Thanks
40 High school teacher Quiet, respectful and collaborative flatmate. My job requires me to be gone 7am to 4pm. Can and willing to contribute to the household in any manner conducive to harmony and functionality. Varied interests and hobbies.
I'm quiet & amiable and have few visitors. I like things neat, clean and uncomplicated. I'm an early riser, usually early to bed and enjoy reading, writing, walking, cycling, and bodysurfing. I teach running technique and various exercise routines for my work and get around by bicycle. I spend a few months in Australia between blocks of time in East Africa, where I sponsor students, do a bit of coaching and assist with a project that supports remote hunter-gatherer tribes.
Hello dear friends, I am looking to find a house to call home for the forseeable future, idealy I would like to find somewhere with another or others so we can make it our own home as I feel that would be most comfortable and allows us to keep our existing appliences / furnishings. Currently I reside in a small unit in cooks hill however I am interested in finding a larger house with a little breathing room, hopefully some grass a verandah and some sun with a tree or two close by, that would be perfect! I am 28yo male, Working full-time and begining an apprenticeship in electrotechnology. I am open to living with male and female around a similar age. The main agenda here is for us to find a beautiful house in a nice area and live comfortably and harmoniously whilst paying as little rent as we can get away with. I have a tv, fridge, washing machine, general kitchen appliances ect so establishing functionality shouldnt be too dificult. I consider myself to be generally a well rounded person in regards to my manurisms and outlook on life so am hoping to find people who also pride themself on being thoughtful and respectful ect. I dont drink heaps, dont smoke and like a bit of exercise but what you do is upto you so long as everyone gets a good nights sleep in and the house is kept respectable. Shoot me a msg if you would like to meet for a coffee or beer and get the ball rolling. Fingers crossed we find what we are looking for, have fun and form great friendships while living together. Kind regards Abarim.

Hello Everybody😃 I'm in need of a new living arrangement as my landlord has decided to rent my current share house (at Charlestown) as a whole. The rent here is $650 for the house which has a granny flat downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. The place is really nice I just don't have another 2 people for upstairs, most people I know want to live near the uni. If you know anyone wanting to rent at Charlestown for around $150 per week (in a really nice house) let me know maybe we can sign a short lease on this place. A bit about me, I have been at uni the past 2 years studying philosophy but will be taking a break this semester (working 2 jobs). I'm all about good vibes, and living with a positive accepting attitude. Hoping to find a house that fits in with that same mentality. Ideally I would like to live with 2 others. I am pretty keen to stay around this area though, I like the quite street and trees (#Country girl). Happy to live with four legged house mates.
I'm an easy going housemate who has been living in share houses for 15 years, Including one with 10 people, 3 animals, and at times, 3 children. I think if you can keep the peace there, you pretty much can anywhere :) I always treat my flatmates like family. Ie, equal parts helping each other out, but with total respect and not taking the piss. If its raining and i'm home, i'll bring in your washing. If I've got milk, and you need milk, you can have some. But at the same time, If you never clean, and eat all my food every day, that would suck. So I'll probably talk to you about it. I'm active and health conscious, so would like to live with other active people. But i wont judge you if you drink coke and eat maccas ether. I'm moving to Newcastle to study Occupational Therapy. Although i don't have a job yet (as i'm just finishing up my business in Sydney), Ive got plenty of money saved and have never been unemployed in my life, so I know i'll pick up work quickly. I will have no issue with paying rent. (I also am self employed as a energetic healer on the side) I love to meditate, swim, go to the live gigs, grow vegetables, cook, draw. I want to live with easy going people that would like to share a chat and a meal from time to time, but respect my need to study too.
I am a bit of a free spirit. I enjoy a reasonably healthy lifestyle, vegan, fitness and the outdoors. I also don't mind a good time come the weekend, anywhere with live gigs. To live with I am social but definitely enjoy my solo time (only child syndrome). I am hugely respectful of the living environment and personal space.
I have just moved back to Newcastle after selling my my restaurant in Sydney. I just got a full time job in Dudley and am looking for short/medium term stay while I find my own place. I'm clean, tidy and easy goIng. I also travel regularly to Sydney.
Hiya, my name's Laura. I'm 20 years old and study nursing and sociology up at UoN. I'm a free-spirited person, respectful and love a few beers with mates. With that said, I'm not a party person, just enjoy a good social hour. Lauren travelled over here on a travel visa from the U.K. early last year and decided she had fallen in love with Australia so much that she decided to stay! Her aspirations are to be a teacher, she is a down-to-earth loving chick who just wants the best for everyone. Enjoys a drink or two as well! Message me if you're interested! :)
Hey, I am a 21 year old university student studying early childhood and primary education and working casually. I am a quiet but fun person, love being outdoors exploring but also love relaxing at home. I come from a country town in NSW and head home as often as possible. I am not a big party animal but love the occasional night out, bevies and snacks with mates. I love to cook (not the best but at least i try hah). If you would like to know anymore about me just send me a message :)
I'm a pretty chilled guy, tidy and clean. Looking to move out of home, doesn't particularly matter where. I feel like I'm fairly fun, and would be easy to live with. Not fussed on when either, but sooner rather than later.
Elisabeth I've been home hunting for sweet units in the cbd or in near of newcastle and I'd love to share it with. I'm new to Newcastle and would love to meet new clean, fit, energetic, sociable (not so much a party goer) stable like minded people, who enjoy getting together to mingle, but don't mind having their own space/doing their own thing. I'm a health professional -so you probably see me come and go. Hehe.I Do need an ensuite and secure lock up. Looking for commited fun roomies.. for further info. Msg me xx

Very easy to get on with. Clean and tidy. Working full-time Monday to Friday, currently building a retirement village I like going to the beach and will soon be playing for a soccer team. Not into clubbing but I don't mind the odd night out. I have a company Ute so I would need somewhere to park it close by.
I plan on moving to Newcastle on the 27th March and I am looking for a place to live. I have a full time job. I am easy going, considerate and friendly. I enjoy going to the beach, hanging out with friends and an occasional social drink on weekends . I also have an adorable English Cocker Spaniel.
Hi. I'm Leesa. I've been renting by myself for 4 years now, but I'm looking for something different. I'm currently looking for work and in the meantime, do volunteer work. I would like to share a house with some flatmates that I can call friends and share common interests with. I'm honest, reliable, clean, respectful, a non-smoker and non-drinker. I enjoy listening to music, going out for coffee, going to the markets, movies and I love the beach. I have a cat, who is a short-haired domestic tortoiseshell, she has a beautiful nature and I'm looking for a place that enjoys her company as much as I do. I look forward to hearing from you.

I work full time as a learning and development professional and part time managing a charity on a volunteer basis. I'm polite, respectful and have lived in share housing previously and appreciate the value of positive household dynamics. Most of the time I'll be busy between work and charity so won't be around a lot. I'm also a social and easy going person but respect the privacy of others. I like being active, play basketball, enjoy scuba diving and am hoping to finish my pilots licence this year if I get the time.

I am an outgoing and entertaining 20 year old bloke who loves a beer and meeting new people. I always have contributed to the best of my ability to every house i have ever lived in and try my best to be a pleasure to live with. Having recently moved to Newcastle for a job offer i simply could not refuse I am looking to stay here for the long term and have some fun all the while making great friends along the way.
Myself and partner are looking for some temporary accomadation. Both work full time. Would like to arrange an inspection time for any suitable places in the Newcastle region
Im 20 years old and am an extremely social and friendly person, but I also enjoy keeping to myself at times. I am very clean and have to live in a tidy area. I'm looking to move in with females only. I am a very creative and artsy person, and I sing and play some acoustic guitar and piano so a room mate would have to be ok with that. I like to get out of the house a lot, and spend most of my time at the beach. Im also starting at Newcastle uni this feb. That's pretty much it!
Hi, we are Maria & Kasey. We are a happily married couple and moved to the area couple of years ago from rural NSW. We are looking for a place to share to help save money for our future. We are both quiet and relaxed and enjoy our space but would also love the odd drink or two and I also love to cook for other people:) I work full time Monday to Friday in an admin role, and Kasey is also working full time at club and works some days and some nights.
I'm an easy going person who likes to be social as well as have time for myself. I work as a Nurse (mostly morning shifts) and am currently continuing my studies part time at uni. I like to catch up with friends and have a drink or two on my days off.
I'm Chris and I study Computer Science at UoN. I'm currently looking for a new place to live. I'm not new to sharehouses so I know how they work. I'm clean, quiet, and easygoing
I am quiet, clean and respectful. I work full time and also study full time. I go to the gym 3 times a week and play netball twice. I am healthy minded and like to keep active. We are 24 and 23yrs old, I work in retail and Josh works as a teachers aide, both of us a few days a week as we both study full time, this means we are hardly home. We are very clean, tidy and easy going people, we pay our rent on time. We enjoy socialising however respect peoples privacy. Contact me ASAP if you think you have a room for us and a backyard for our fur-babies and we can talk more :)
Hello! Maitland born and raised but moved to Sydney after high school; now coming back with an transfer opportunity that's come up at work in the Charlestown office. I'm an Occupational Therapist by trade and love being active in my spare time. Love the outdoors, crafts/DIY, movies, social outings, reading. As a side note I love cats and / or dogs if you have them or want to get them :)
Recently graduated uni and decided to move to Newcastle for a change of scenery. Currently have a job and am very social. Lived in a lot of sharehouses before and Im very easy to live with.
I'm a 28 year old female looking for a room to rent. I work full time, and am very clean and tidy and easy to get along with. I go to the gym every night and work most weekends as well.
I'm very quite but very well spoken. I don't like to bother other people and I'm very respectable, I do love metal music etc so hopefully that isn't to much of a problem to play music sometimes. I've lived out of home since I was 16 and I feel as though I've done very well
Heya, my name's Steph, I'm 25 and I'm a full-time travel agent. I've been renting for 6 years. My current lease runs out in February so I'm putting the feelers out now. Open to renting alone, joining an existing share-house or teaming up with some other people to start a new house, whatever works out. I'm a pretty easy person to live with, I'm quiet, keep to myself mostly as I wind down from work, and usually go see my boyfriend on the weekends. I don't mind a chat either. I enjoy reading, computer games and binging on TV shows and movies. I'm reliable and friendly and honest and expect the same from my housemates too. If I can find a pet-friendly place I would love to have my dog with me, she's been living with my Mum for the past 6 years though while I've been renting so it's not a big deal at all. She's a 7 year old Fox Terrier cross Jack Russell. Feel free to send me a message!
Hey 🙋🏻 I'm Kim, I am 23 years old have relocated from Dubbo about 7months ago now. I work casually part-time and also am starting my first year at UON studying teaching. I am not so much a partier but I don't mind a few casual drinks on a hot summer arvo! I have a fun bubbly personality and am easy to get along with, will always try and make you laugh 😜 If I seem like your new roomie, hit me up I love meeting new people.
Hello, I'm Ming! I'm a 28yr old engineer with an indoor cat named Spock. We're quiet, friendly, respectful and both answer to good food and company. I work full time, am a morning person and enjoy a good nights sleep. Looking for like minded people, please give us a shout if you have anything available. :)
Happy, quiet, responsible, pay rent on time, likes and gives respect to others. Keeps active, looking for a long term with all bills included. Prefers not overcrowded places. Close to transport. Likes Pets. I have my own bed, looking for a private room. Not into parties, enjoys day living, walking, gardening at times. The locations 1) in the Newcastle choices have to be close to the Princes Highway to help me catch the 350 bus route bound to Swansea early morning, this bus is frequent during peak times which sets my traveling time very tight during non-peak hours. or 2) In the Revesby area or 3) in North Parramatta or 4) in Bankstown
So a little about myself. Have just returned from two years of travel in Europe - Awesome experience!! Now back to reality. Currently sorting employment - Senior Accountant. Love to socialise, however, will also be studying for the next 18 months to get chartered. Into my league and having a beer come Friday. Looking to move in March/April. Currently living in Nelsons Bay with the parents so not ideal traveling into work everyday (once I get a job). I also have a bit of furniture from prior to going overseas - BBQ, TV, TV cabinet, lounges, outdoor setting, table and chairs, fridge, washing machine, mower, wiper snipper etc. I also have a small dog which has been living with my parents.
I am friendly and easy going. I work as an Audiologist full time monday to friday. I do not drink or smoke inside the house. However I do smoke occaaionally but only outside. I am neat and tidy. I am basically from India but have lived outside the country since 2008. I enjoy playing cricket and badminton. I am social and enjoy travelling during weekends.
Hi! My name is Kim, I'm 28 and work as a Beauty/Laser Therapist. I'm looking for one or two people around the same age as me to rent a house. I'm a 2 for 1 deal as I own a dog - a 20kg groodle named Sunny. She's well behaved and has heaps of energy. I'd prefer to live with someone who doesn't have any pets - we've lived with two other dogs at one stage and it was overwhelming - I'm no Caesar Milan that's for sure. Cats are definately a no-go because Sunny loses her mind over them. I'm very clean and tidy, respectful of other's space and super friendly. Love having a laugh, make a mean cheese platter, love a glass of red and I'm always down for a chat. I like to entertain every now and again or get dressed up to go to a bar. I am by no means a party animal (I'm saving to buy a house) so if you enjoy rolling home from Kingers at 4am more than once a week then we probably won't be a good fit! On weekends I like to get outdoors, go to the beach, go to cafes or markets, take Sunny for walks and just generally be social with friends. Looking for someone who is a normal, functioning adult that is a non-smoker. I own bits and pieces but no larger items such as fridge, washing machine etc so it would be great if I could team up with someone who has those things already! I work full time so $$$ is no issue and I always pay rent on time. If you're interested send me a message :)
Hello! I am a 18 y/o student starting my first year at the University of Newcastle. I am looking to move as it will be easier than commuting from my family home. I am willing to socialise and hang (most definitely if you like good coffee) but i do like time to myself and respect others time to themselves. I work, will ensure that I pay bills on time, and be an productive member of the household. My friend and i are looking for someone outgoing and respectful to create a sharehouse together. Feel free to contact for anymore info! :-)
I am in the Early Stages of looking into my next living situation. Looking at moving end of March. I have furniture for a room + lounge room. Fridge and washing machine. I can sell/ store some furniture, but would prefer to keep as much as possible. Looking at unfurnished room/ studio/ granny flat etc. I am an "Ambivert" (Both introvert and extrovert) I Like people, and socializing, however, I need my own space and time to recharge. I clean up after myself, and prefer a tidy house- but not an OCD clean freak. I like to think i'm a considerate housemate, and quite open for discussion for any house rules/ to avoid tense/ negative conflict.
Hey hey! I've spent the past 3 years living in Canberra both on campus and most recently living in a share house off campus. This year I'm hoping to come and see what the water tastes like in Newcastle. I've recently started a Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing so I'm looking to continue my study, pick up some full-time work and enjoy the occasional cold one with Housemate's preferably in a similar position. I'm tidy, easy going, make a good cob loaf and can provide some mediocre banter (and a 49" TV). I've mostly found it easiest living with guys while in Canberra but I'll also be happy as Larry in a mixed house. I'll be looking to move into somewhere at the end of June hopefully in the vicinity of Adamstown as I have a few good mates living there already. I'd be interested in looking for low maintenance and relatively modern houses/town houses (3/4 bedroom). But depending on what is available at the time I'm pretty keen to move anywhere. If you think we're looking for similar things and will kick it off pretty well or want to know if I'd be willing to compromise on location, bedrooms, rent budget, residential type, etc just swing me a message, I'm pretty flexible. I look forward to hearing from those who are interested. Woo hoo let's do this. It'd also be cool if you had a dog so I can pet it.
Looking for someone to live with as am currently looking to move and living on my own. I'm quiet and friendly and not into the party scene. I prefer a good book or movie than going to the pub or out on the town. I like to cook and make my own candles and jewellery as well as writing. I have a house worth of furniture including a couple of spare beds if needed. Tinkabelle is an indoor/outdoor cat who stays in of a night and on rainy days. She is litter trained and is very quiet. She is about 7-8 years old and very sooky and affectionate.
Hi :) I'm looking for a room in a share house from late February or early march. This will be for 1 year+ I'm currently near the end of a gap year I gave myself for 2016, (such a strange year) I've relocated from Melbourne to Newcastle for a change, I'm born and raised in Melbourne. I'm easy going, clean, I'm respectful of overs, I enjoy socializing, I surf, rock climb, play guitar (I'm certainly considerate with regards to noise/music I make) and I love a laugh. Previous to 2016 I was renting an 2 bedroom apartment in the suburb of Malvern on my own, the property manager gave me an excellent review which I'll be happy to provide. I've been working as a labourer the last 4 or 5 months. I have plenty of savings which I'll happily screenshot for proof. I keep in touch with a previous house mate who can be a reference. I'm happy to answer any questions and genuinely happy to have a chat
28 year old registered nurse - just started working full time at the John Hunter and looking for a place closer to work. I am well-traveled and used to sharing living spaces - so I how important it is to be clean, tidy and respectful of others. That being said, i'm pretty easy-going, love a chat and a few beers. I'm an active kids, so I'll most likely be riding my bike around enjoying the sunshine on my days off. I'm also pretty handy in the kitchen!
