Hello! I am 24, female and pretty easy going. I like to cook and I am vegan. I am mainly looking for potential team ups/ house mates. I would ideally like to move out late 2017 early 2018 however in january 2018 I am going overseas for a month! I currently work part-time in the city, but normally pick up full time hours when I can. I study zoology but I am looking to change to an online degree. The catch - (if you want to call it that) is I have 2 cats (male, desexed), 2 dogs (one female, 10+yrs and one male 5+years) and 4 ferrets. These guys don't really require any attention from you and they are fairly well behaved. The dogs currently live outside during the day when I am not home, and inside they are in my bedroom so they don't require free range of the house, won't chew anything or mess anywhere at night. The cats are indoor cats only but are very affectionate and loving, Pickles who is currently 6mo old is very loving and needy (towards me at least), loves being up high and making biscuits (Kneading), Mouse, who is just over a year is a bit skittish around strangers but soon warms up to people and is very affectionate. The ferrets currently live outside in my garage, they are very low-maintenance and will not often require any interaction from anyone but me (unless you want to!) I get that this can be an overwhelming amount of animals for some people, that's totally fine :) ! I am happy to pay a bit more in rent if it meets my budget, or a bit extra for a pet bond or whatever.
Hi. My name is Sam. I'm a 25 year old Bricklayer who works full time. I am originally from NZ, but have lived in Melbourne for the past 4 years. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy a beer after work. During the week I'm usually out playing touch footy or boxing. I'm looking to get into a house share with some like minded people, preferably of similar age. I plan on staying in Melbourne for the next 4 months (possibly longer) before going travelling, so if you are after a short term tenant or think I would be a good fit in your house, get in touch. Also, my move date is flexible by a few weeks either way. Cheers
Hi I'm Lina and I'm looking to relocate closer to the city. Not too picky as to where as long as it's within walking distance to trains/trams and grocery shops. Somewhere nice to walk nearby (eg. park, river, beach) would be a bonus! I am currently working regular hours in admin, but will be going back to full-time studies starting in July. I'm pretty quiet, tend to hibernate in my room with books/movies/video games (...uh...and studies from now on, I suppose) when I'm at home and go out every other weekend. I'm fond of art (both seeing and making), music (I've learned the value of headphones early on, don't worry) and animals (none of my own but if you've got them - fantastic!). I like to cook, but only have the motivation for it 2-3 times a week so I won't hog the kitchen too often. I'm neat, respectful of other people's things and personal space, pro-equal-distribution-of-chores and I've never been late on rent in my 5+ years of shared living. Please let me know if you have a room for me! :)
Hi guys, I'm a 21yo woman working in Accounts at a construction company in Port Melbourne. I'm looking for home where I can relax after work with a glass of whiskey and watch some TV or ready a book. I keep fairly busy but do enjoy some time hanging out at home.
Most important thing for me when sharing a house is being respectful of shared spaces. Cleaning after you eat, no dirty pans in the sink, and cleaning the bathroom regularly. After that living with people should be easy. I am professional working full time and have recently been offered a job in Melbourne. I'm from the UK and have just moved to Aus 9 months ago to adelaide with my wife. She will be staying in adelaide until we she can leave her job and we can find a place together. I do have to work some night shifts so I would be grateful for some quiet during the day when I'm on a run of nights. I have loads of interests- scuba diving, movies, comedy, travelling, house music (don't worry I won't be playing this), running, F45, astronomy etc... plenty to talk about. I am sociable, fun and enjoy getting to know people. I am clean but not OCD. I would treat the flat/house like it was my own and expect the same from other flat mates. Give me a call or text if this matches with what your looking for Jin
Hello! Looking to start a new sharehouse or join an existing one on the west side of Melbourne. I work 8.30–5/Mon-Fri in Digital Communications. Low-key during the week, but always up for a wine, chat with housemates. Me: Friendly, social (but enjoy my own time). I like good food and wine, cooking, getting outside, documentaries (and questionable reality TV, you know, for balance). Respectful, pay my bills on time, clean but not anal. Generally house-broken. Would prefer someone similar! I have a five-year-old cat called Mike. He has one eye and is very affectionate. Ideally the new place is a house, or allows him access to outside (which would mean no kitty litter). I travel occasionally so would be great if you didn't mind providing some food and pats.
I am easygoing, quite, clean, reliable. Professinal working in city. Looking to share house with someone reliable. I donot mind to share meal sometimes but I am used to have an independent life for past 11 years. So you see me respectng your personal space. I like yoga, being healthy and painting.
i'm an 18 year old italian girl looking for a clean private furnished room close to transport... i am clean respectful and very friendly :) i love swimming, going to movies and chatting!! i am looking for friendly and respectful people to share the house with
Hi there! I am a full-time Product Developer for childrenswear originally from the Adelaide Hills. I have been living in Melbourne for 3 years previously living in two share houses in Middle Park and Hawthorn East and on the search for a new place to call home. I would love to share with some cool and laid back cats. I am an easy going and fun person who loves to travel - overseas, interstate or just down the road finding some yummy food, seeing friends or just keeping it relaxed at home watching a good thriller/horror movie! I enjoy a chat over a good cup of tea, wine or some Thai food and also respectful to personal space. I am very clean and tidy, considerate of people's space and more than willing to help around the house. I am a big animal fan so if you have any animals, they will get so much attention from me! I have a car so I will also need a space for it to live also (secure or street parking is fine!), but aiming to be near public transport (train station). I will be moving with mostly bedroom things and other bits and pieces. I hope you find me as a good fit for your home : )
I'm a full time Veterinary Medicine student who spends too much time with their head in a textbook. I'm looking for a sharehouse with chill vibes which I can retreat to at the end of the day. I come with my best mate Charlie, a 10 year old Spoodle X hot water bottle who is a heckin' good boy. He's a super friendly pup, is quiet and doesn't shed hair.
Hi I’m Brendan I am looking for a long term household to share with nice responsible housemates with my dog just as long as its a harmonious household. I’m 43 & just re entered hospitality after a long hiatus formerly worked as a personal carer in Aged care for many years. I am quite & easy going have a love of music & european films & book reading yes maybe a bit of a geek. I am looking for a household where we treat each other with respect & can keep a tidy house ( I am not a clean freak but a housemates record of leaving the dishes on the sink for 5 weeks is not for me) & communicate be social or have our own space if needed. I am able to move now but I am currently on a fortnight to fortnight basis for giving notice. a 15 kilometre radius to the CBD is preferred but not essential ( love the area around Williamstown where I currently am.) I can afford up to 680 pcm I am trying to quit smoking but will only smoke outside. If you just want someone urgent just to pay rent its best not to contact me. Lucy is a 8 year old Blue Heeler she would probably like to be the sole dog but she has lived with dogs before she is very affectionate & fully house trained she sleeps in my room the yard would need tall fencing & be secure she is not able to live with cats. Thanks for taking the time to read my add if you have a room or know of someone who my please message me ; I don’t have FB switched on my phone & no internet at home but will check daily so there might be a delay in my response.
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Hi future roomies! My name is Savannah and I have been living in Perth for a little over 6 months and am looking to move to the Melbourne area! I am from Los Angeles, California and am here on a work and holiday visa. I am going back to the states in mid-October and am looking to rent a space until then! I am extremely clean and tidy, and I am hoping to find some people who like to keep their home that way too. I'm just as happy with a night in watching movies as I am on a solid night out! I like to workout and stay active, any gym buddies out there?! I will be looking for a job in the area once I find a place to live. Looking forward to meeting some new people and having some great experiences! Chat to ya soon!
Hi, we are a couple in our twenties, looking for a place to live! We are looking to move early August, when our current lease is up - not before. Both working full-time (between Melbourne & Geelong). Easy-going, tidy, love a Netflix sesh and a few drinks on the weekends. Cannot live with cats or smokers, due to allergies and asthma. Interested in both rooms in share houses, or someone to team up and find a new place together, so feel free to message us :)
Hi there, my name is Chloe and I'm 25 years old. I am studying Sport management/ Outdoor Education at Victoria University and on the weekends I work in stadiums doing bar work. I'm currently living in Carlton at the moment sharing with 4 others and am seeking somewhere that isn't so close to the city as I'm getting over living in the city! I like to be active and get out of the house but I also love watching movies, I enjoy the balance of alone time and being social :-)
Hi! I'm from Singapore and am studying a degree in Advertising at RMIT city campus.🙂 Generally i consider myself to be a tidy and quiet person during uni days and will prolly be camping in my room doing uni work or just on netflix most times so you can expect me to be respectful of your privacy. I smoke occasionally from time to time and also like to party every now and then. I love a mad hang/drinks session with mates and absolutely love pets. Ideally i would like to find a FURNISHED room and a place where i can call home and can hang out in the lounge room with cool house mates watching netflix etc or we can cook food for each other all the time and get drunk together. (p.s i've been told i can cook some nice stuff!) i love music of all sorts really however i am particularly a fan of rock, alternative and yea so on.. you get the gist of it. My favourite band will always be Blink-182! (i promise i won't blast my music or any blink out loud all the time so you don't get too sick of me :P) Currently living in west footscray and would like to move out soon to somewhere closer ish to uni or the eastern surburbs. However i will not be in Melbourne from 19 June - 17 July as I will be back home in Singapore, therefore im looking to move out either before Mid june or after my birthday which is 15th of July. Hope to hear from you future housemates!
I am a 25 year old male professional working in the CBD, looking for good flatmates and a furnished home. I enjoy jogging, nature, music (progressive / trance), animals (especially dogs) and have an interest in businesses / entrepreneurial ideas. Fairly clean but not ocd either. Respectful of other people's space but up for hanging out and having a chat sometimes. Looking for a flatshare for 3 to 12 months at this stage and preferably close to a train station. Keen to move out to be closer to work and be more independent.
My name is Laura I’m 23, currently studying nursing and working part time as a carer. I am ideally looking for somewhere in the Inner West. My max budget is $200 pw but ideally would prefer between $150-170. My intention is to move mid July preferably after the 13th but could be earlier if I find the right fit. A little about me: I am studying nursing in Geelong (I am usually there about 1 day a week), I work as a carer (presently I have contracts in Port Melbourne and Richmond but this changes on a regular basis) I work mostly days but can have the occasional late night. I am financially secure and capable of paying my bills on time. I am happy to contribute to household tasks such as cleaning. I enjoy cooking, travel, watching TV etc. I would describe myself as more of a homebody, although I enjoy going out to movies, brunch, dinner or the occasional drink. I have a sarcastic sense of humour so as long as you understand sarcasm, don't mind a laugh, drink or tv I'm extremely easy to get along with. I am looking for housemates that are happy to share a meal or a drink when we can, have a chat or watch a tv show. But also doesn't mind some alone time.
Hi, my name is Shelby and I'm 21 years old. I'm a very relaxed and easy going person. I'm currently working out at the airport and I do work shift work. I'm a very neat and tidy person and always clean up after myself. I'm very outgoing and enjoy the occasional drink or two on the weekend, but am also just as happy staying in and watching Netflix. I play basketball twice a week and enjoy being active.
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. I would like a safe place to stay for 10 months. I plan to move interstate in March/April 2018 to study. But I promise to pay my bills and rent until then! I am going through naturalization. Based in the inner Western suburbs, but would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Glen Iris, Malvern, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington It needs to be close to public transport BUT with a parking spot, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go PS: I share a lovely 3 level townhouse in West Footscray. My housemate is a passive-aggressive alcoholic man who is getting divorced. We have just been given 3 months to vacate. I am looking to move out/in in mid-June, July or August. If you are considering asking me to share a house with you, I think we would get along if you are: - not an alcoholic. I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working/not a student) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I am not obliged to be your psych/best friend) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting or cursing at me; please approach me in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. If I were to share a house, the room must be: - LARGE (at least 3.5m by 3.5m), must fit double bed and desk with room to move - have large BIR - have an ensuite bathroom I can afford up to 350 per week. I am happy to pay for gas/water/electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel or Netflix. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
whats goin on!? I'm a young 34 year old lad from NZ moving back to Melbourne Mid to late June. Already have employment to get into pretty much straight away when I arrive. I also have a job coming up in Sydney in the very near future (fifo sort of) so I'm either looking for somewhere temporary until I get the call, or if the house is an awesome environment and the price is right continuing the tenancy and fly back on my time off.... I'm single, no kids, an electrician by trade, social drinker, outside smoker, yo yo dieter, sociable, and looking for a place to not only put a roof over my head but to make some new friends too! So feel free to flick me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your pad! 🤙 Will need parking available
I'm the kind of person that can easily get along with other people; watching movies, play sports or go to the gym. I'd like to maintain cleanliness in my place all the time and love to help with the household chores. Open to meet new friends and respectful to others' privacy or culture. Prefer to share the flat with a single person. Pets are not an issue. Non smoker but would love to grab some beer on Friday nights or weekends. Moving in to Melbourne this coming July and by that time will start to look for an IT job (Web developer).
