My friend and I are Taiwanese. We plan to go to Sydney to start our working holiday journey. We are female. My friend is a LGBT. But we aren't couple. We want to live with English speakers. And we must use kitchen. Of course we like to share food with you. And If close to train station is better, cause we don't have car at first, and have to find a job. Let me know If you have available room for rent. Thanks!
Easy going and down to earth married couple. Together for 7 years our relationship started as work colleges back in 2004... Married in 2013 :) Both from the print industry and entrepreneurs pursuing our dreams and creating new opportunities to live a healthy balanced life. Both with kids from previous relationships currently in the care of others, right now it is just the 2 of us working together to overcome adversity and get back on our feet and rebuild our family home :)
Hi! I'm an international student, I'm 28 and I'm currently doing community services and work for an organization who provides child protection services. I'm also a casual babysitter. Working and studying pretty hard every day, with a few free time, but I still manage it to spend quality time with friends and flatmates, when possible :) I like to socialize but having a good balance between socialising and my own space is very important to me. I love food (and food loves me), good drinks, good music and good laughs as well! I can cook delicious Colombian food and teach you to dance salsa! Even though, I love dancing I'm not a big partier. I'm very clean but not obsessive about it. I'm looking for a long term private room where I don't need to the flat (and bathroom) with no more than 2 people. Good access to public transport is essential.
Very easy going, relaxed and accountable. I work a lot and travel around the country every couple of months. New to Sydney (originally from Darwin, NT) and looking to move in with people around the same age to start to build a life in Sydney around my new job.
A Kiwi who has just finished up working in SE Asia, I've just moved to Sydney to start a full-time position in Digital Marketing, and am looking for a place to stay. Friendly and sociable, but also enjoy my own space. Not much of a partier, but enjoy a few drinks with good company on occasion. I enjoy photography, board games, volunteering, and an occasional game on the PS4.
i am looking for somewhere to make my home base where i can study when i go back to university next year. It would be helpful to be on a train line and near buses that can get me to Macquarie University. I am hoping to bring my dog with me. He is a small jack Russel X Shitzu, he is very very well trained, he doesn't run away and he doesn't go to the toilet anywhere but on grass. He is more like a cat than a dog, as he likes to get under my covers to sleep and will basically sleep anywhere he can all day long.
PhD Student from Barcelona. Looking for a nice place, with nice people and nice location to begin my Australian adventure (from Dec’17). I am a 29yo outgoing gay guy. I have long experience sharing flats. I am tidy, clean, relaxed. Love cooking and having some beers or wine with my roommates. Not a party animal, I prefer chill at home or a nice dinner with friends. :)
Hello, My name is Mata and I'm a bartender from NYC. I've decided to move to Sydney for a year to experience living and working in this beautiful city. I've been to Sydney twice and told myself I'd come back one day to live for a while. I'm an avid traveler (32 countries by the end of the year), very much into fitness and being active, and love to cook. Anything else you'd like to know just ask :)
Spontaneous is the best word to describe me. I love new experiences and adventures. I'm friendly, easygoing, non-judgemental and look for the same. I'm looking for flatmates who share this, and where we all get along! Ages 18-23 preferred. I'm a 19 year old software engineer, having worked for companies like Uber and Canva. I'm working on my own startup right now at a leisure place, because travelling and enjoying life is pretty fun :)
I have lived in Australia for 4 years and oversea for couple years. I am respectful, clean and not a party person. I work fulltime and like chillout, cooking, workout, watching tv etc. I'm happy to be social and respect peoples privacy. I do not own a car, so would like somewhere close to public transport.
I am an Engineering Student from Adelaide University. I currently live on campus apart of a 5 person unit. I am a very respectful person of others space, very clean and willing to help out my peer how ever I can. I love a chat and having fun. I am not big on the party scene preferring nice quiet drinks with friends. I like playing games, I am not one for locking myself in my room. I will be sitting at the table or couch for anybody to come and say hi if they want. I have been offered to built satellites with groups from University of NSW and Sydney, so I need your help to make my dreams become a reality.
Hi, I am looking for a team up to get a 2 bedroom for $450-$550. I currently live on the northern beaches, but am looking to be closer to a train line to lessen the commute. I'm usually pretty relaxed, however like the house to be clean and tidy. Happy to spend a night at the movies or watch a season on Netflix with you. I have a boyfriend, who will most likely stay over around 4 nights a week, however will obviously pay for his share of the utilities etc. I also have heaps of furniture from my past apartment and would be happy to help out where needed. I would love you to get in contact with me if you think we would be a good match. Kind regards, Georgia
I’m a full time professional who runs an amazing arcade venue in Chatswood. I am looking at moving into a new house share. I am open to location between parramatta and Chatswood and I come with a whole house of furniture. I enjoy chilling out and enjoying which ever location I end up on my days off. I also 100% have tickets for the midnight screening of Star Wars!
I've just come back to Sydney after 7 months of remote work in the NT (how did that even happen?). I might need an adjustment period to civilization again... ;) I'm pretty friendly and chilled, very mindful of others and would love to be friends with my flatmate, share a dinner or a few drinks every so often, but don't be offended if I hide in my room from time to time. I'm not a party person, but will sometimes have friends over for baking purposes (or eating of said baking) but usually pretty quiet at home. I have a wide range of interests and do enjoy spending the occasional night on the couch watching/marathoning TV shows or movies. I've lived in different countries a fair bit so there's always something to talk about. I'm pretty creative, but also a procrastinator when it comes to creating. I enjoy creative writing (novel in progress), my flute (sometimes), karaoke, and tasty food. Outdoor adventures might be on the up-tick as well.
I am a biologist working for a pharmaceutical company as a full-time job with long working hours and will spend most of the time out, exploring the city :) I am looking for a room either in Chatswood or Roseville and preferably nearby train station. I can move in on Nov, 5th. I like coffee, wine, classical music, travelling, different cultures. I am tidy and respectful to personal space but would also enjoy having meal together with flatmates. I am not definitely a party animal
I am a professional accountant and an easy-going person. I work full-time during the week from Monday to Friday and out over the weekends (if not reading and chilling out). I enjoy socializing and hanging out with other people, but at the same time I am respectful of everyone's privacy. I always clean-up after myself and looking for like minded people to share the place with. I am flexible with move-in dates and lease term too. Cheers!
I work in eCommerce as an administrator. I am clean and tidy, and respectful of others possessions. Non-smoker. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine though try to lead a healthy lifestyle. I have a 3 year old springer spaniel called Ruby, she is very friendly with other pets and humans 😊
I'm working full time and looking for a place that I can relax after a long day at work. I'm an easy going person, respectful and like to keep my place clean. I enjoy house chat but I also respect your privacy. I like to go out for dinner and a glass of wine occasionally. I also interested in team up.
I'm a boring engineering student from Brisbane, moving to Sydney for a graduate position; hobbies include reading, gaming and playing the piano badly. Teetotaler but I don't object to others drinking as long as nothing explodes in the process. I like quiet houses and clean kitchens, and have been told I make a mean cheesecake.
I'm a 27-year-old immigration lawyer from Brisbane who will be working full-time in Sydney CBD. I have a ten-month old kitten Mimo who is fully toilet-trained (never had an accident with her toilet habits) and the most affectionate cat you will ever meet. I love cats and would expect my housemates to be mammal-friendly. (You don't necessarily have to be cat-friendly, as I have had numerous friends who considered themselves "dog people" instantly fall in love with Mimo when they stayed over at my place. My current housemate of 1.5 years in Brisbane is also one of them!) As I have a busy work life, I prefer time to myself to relax after work. I care a lot about maintaining a quiet household and environment. I prefer gated apartments and accommodation that is ideally not carpeted. Your place would also ideally not have leather couches or anything leather that you care about; or if you do, be open to my putting a couch cover on it at my expense. Whilst Mimo has always been trained not to scratch anything other than her cat tree and scratch toys, she can leave the occasional faint marks on the leather surface when she prances around. I am friendly, considerate, will respect your personal space and expect the same from others. I would not mind occasional chats and drinks on the weekends. My move-in date will have to fall in between the last week of November and 2nd December 2017. I am on the lookout for short-term 3-month leases at the moment but will be happy to extend if I like the place. I am also open to taking up places that are available short-term for at least 3 weeks.
