**TEAM UP** Hey future Roomies, Liam and I met on Flatmates 5 months ago and got a place together for 6 Months, this is coming to an end so we are wanting to find a bigger place and preferably 2 other people to start a new share house 4+ Bedrooms. We are both working professionals, like to keep fit and healthy during the week and love to have a drink on the weekends. Both easy going and would like to find like minded people to create a fun, happy and drama free place where we are all become friends rather than just roommates. Happy to spend around $250 each a week for a room each. Preferably looking for at least 1 female to even the house out! Send me a message if you think you will be suited and we can all meet up for a coffee or a drink. :) Cheers, Patrick!
28 yo male from Italy, here with a working holiday visa. Currently studying in a private English School in the City center, soon full time worker,. Outgoing non-smoker sporty respectful and rather tidy.
I am 28 yo male, living on me own and after a shared accommodation relatively nearer to city. I am full time working professional (engineer in constructions) and moved in Brisbane 5 months ago but settled in Northern suburbs because my work place is also in north. Now, I want move nearer to city as now has my own car. So distance now no more an issue. This I believe will resolve my issues of expensive living and eliminate stress which I had to bear for past six months by living on my own. Even if your place is not furnished, I have my own stuff for room and even some common utilities stuff, like TV, fridge, washing machine etc.. and wont mind sharing with my flatmates. My preference is to have own room but hopes, will find an very friendly atmosphere in a place I could feel home. I love to chat but not a very exciting chatter and love too cook food (occasionally not regularly). Food I cook tastes more if cooked on gas stove. Place with a garage or reserved parking would be an additional plus. Place somewhere nearer to tunnels or expressways that can take me to northern suburbs back to my work place with ease. Yes afterall, need a good night sleep, so a relatively quieter place in working days. Weekday, I don't mind noisy nights. I don't smoke at all, do not drink (except socially, if had to) and most of the days, at work. Love to spend weekends outdoors. Loves swimming and playing indoor games, watching movies and serials. I wish, that I could learn a new language (as always been my passion) and nothing better than having multi lingual flatmate. In short, after a place, where we can meet friends and experience the life of this very cultural city. If you think we can group up for leasing a place or can fit me in, please get in touch.(only texts pls)..... We can get to talk further details from there.

Hi, I'm Vanessa. I'm from Adelaide, but relocating to Brisbane on the first weekend of February to study Robotics at the Uni of Queensland. I'm looking for a furnished room with a bed, desk and car parking space as I will be driving up. I enjoy road tripping, cooking, art and language (I can speak German). I get along well with all types of people and nationalities, but would prefer a quiet and studious non-smoking house. I'm clean and tidy and will be spending most of my time studying or working part time. Feel free to shoot me a PM !
I'm a psychiatric nurse (currently doing masters) and lu is a primary PE teacher. We are well versed in share house arrangements and have just moved back from England. We want to find a few people and establish a fine house residing in one of Brisbane's many fine Queenslanders around Milton, Paddington, Auchenflower, Redhill, Toowong or Indooroopilly. criteria needs: back yard, big deck, hills hoist, away from main road don't mind if its furnished or unfurnished we can always go hunting on kerbside collection days. pros: fine cooks (eat vege most days but partial to a porterhouse), clean, wine n frothies should be on the food pyramid, doggos (happy to accommodate for any canines) , posses a great record collection, house mates looking for friends not just occupiers, will participate in badinage, fit (lu netballs/yogas and I Cycle/swim) so it would be cool to share some exercise activities! cons: We are tall (L 6ft D 6ft7) and will therefore have occasional tall people conventions which even if you are vertically challenged would wish that you be involved in nutbush city limits or Yarns around the BBQ. Ill need some consideration during exam and assessment periods for sleep and study but other than that we cant wait to move out! If you feel like you want the same thing or a similar thing or even the polar opposite thing let us know and wed love to get the ball rolling for a move out date around end of February. oh and preferably people aged 20-30 who can be team players with communal cleanliness! 400 a week is what we are looking at for our room but can go down or a little bit up depending on the abode.
Hey hey my name is Jake 🙃 I'm moving from the Sunshine Coast into Brisbane to study Asian business full-time at Griffith University's Nathan campus. Mostly looking for a roommate (or roommates). I'd prefer to find a place with like minded people but I am also open to existing share houses. In terms of location, Id prefer somewhere near Mount Gravatt but I'll settle for a place in Holland Park, Carindale, Eight Mile Plains, West End or any other decent places in reasonable distance to Griffith. I am reliable, honest, compassionate but quiet. I can go between being a ghost or a good conversationalist but mostly I keep to myself. Obviously a clean person that should go without showing. I am currently unemployed but I am currently on government benefits plus have enough savings to live by myself for a year...but since I like to think I'm smart with my money I'd prefer some roomies. I'm pretty open when it comes to partners in crime. Just don't be a dick 🤷 Message me if you think I'm cool
Easy going Gold Coast girl moving up to be closer to uni (QUT kelvin grove/garden point). Looking for flatmates that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise with casual wine nights or heading out to brunch to buy overpriced avo on toast. Proud supporter of messy hair, sweat pants and baking vegan banana bread. Ideally looking for someone close in age but I get along with everyone so not too fussed. Feel free to message if you think you'd be a good fit :) (Bonus points if you have a dog.)
I am from Darwin, Northern Territory and currently a university student studying Bachelor of Design (Architectural Studies). I am an approachable and clean person and I am also respectful of everyone's need. I enjoy socializing although I do need some quiet times for my study. I enjoy doing some artsy activities like sketching and painting in my free time. Aside from that, I also like to work out and eat healthy to keep my fitness up.
Hey! I'm 23 and a freelance Hairdresser from Canberra. Iv'e been living in Brisbane for 3 months but am hoping move to the sunshine coast in the next few weeks. I work 3-4 12 hour days and if I'm not working I'm probably out at the beach, running or at an oval with my super cute 1 year old Staffy. :D I'm clean, not loud, not quiet, i understand personal space yet also keen to meet people and hang out as I'm new to Brissy!
Hi I am a professional single woman, looking for a lovely homely place with one other person and with my own bathroom. I am clean, have a positive personality, active lifestyle and meet friends usually away from home as home is a place to quiet down for me. I am really into sports, yoga, nature, dancing and don't watch much TV although I really enjoy watching the occasional movie with a housemate ;) I often work in the afternoons, late evenings and weekends and it works well to share with someone who works regular business hours. I sometimes sleep till late morning if I had a late shift and look for a home that's quiet during the day. Looking foward to meeting you :) Martine
Hey everyone me and my girlfriend will be moving to the Brisbane from the UK in the middle of January 2018. We are looking for a place for us both to live in a shared house or team up. We can be flexible where but ideally somewhere with good transport links to both the city and the University of Queensland. We will both be working and I will also be a full time student at UQ. We are clean and tidy and a fun couple. We enjoy meeting people and socialising with others. I'm also a great cook (so I have been told) so I will certainly be cooking up some meals for you all to sample. We will be in Australia for at least 4 years (as per our Visas) so looking for a great place / house mates on a long term basis. Please get in contact if anyone is interested in either teaming up or have a room spare!
I am a friendly guy who works as a Financial Accountant full-time. I do have a set up simple routine: work Mon-Fri 8.30 - 5 PM, swimming at night. I respect personal space but I am also happy to have a nice chat and debrief sometimes. I'm not much of a party-goer, although I like small gatherings, going to movies and swimming. I go quite often to the beach on the weekends.
We are a respectful and nice couple, looking for a place to live in Brisbaneor suburbs. Valeria is an Italian Nurse with the W&H Visa and I'm a Spanish Biotechnologist with the Student Visa. We are passionate about nature and the activities outdoors, we also like to share our time learning and talking with different people. W are just a young couple eager to travel over the world, have a good time working and studying, and meet people over the world. Thank you for contacting us in advance! Cheers! Raquel & Valeria
Hi! I'm Dan, i'm a friendly, mature, open minded, easy going guy originally from country South Australia that's moving to Brisbane to study nursing in 2018. A paramedic by trade, I currently live on the Gold Coast where I work FIFO to the Bowen Basin while I wait for uni to start. Recently returned from 15 months of travel for a career break; I love outdoor adventures, photography, snowboarding, live music, beer and trying (mostly unsuccessfully) to learn to surf, play guitar and speak Spanish in my spare time. I've been accommodated in every type of situation possible from hostels to having my own mortgage and property so I understand roomie respect and what makes a space great to live in.
Hey I'm Sam and don't worry the dog isn't coming with me. I'm 25 yrs old, have lived in rentals, shared houses and student accommodation never had a problem with rent. Have done studying and full time work now looking into either more study or employment. Clean and courteous with other housemates. Communication is what makes or breaks a household. If you're my housemate I've got your back that's just how it is. Pretty laid back, meeting new people and new points of view on life is always cool. Being an introvert or extrovert is understandable and empathised. I'm from north Queensland. Travelled a bit sitting on 6/7 (Eventually I'll get to Antarctica) Have worked as an office worker to a shearer so have some experience and understanding of the workforce. For fun I enjoy hanging out, playing some sport or going for a ride down a mountain. Also enjoy playing a game or watching something.
Hi there! I'm an occupational therapy student (and an arts / psych student in the past), from Melbourne, moving to Brisbane in January. I volunteer in disability support and will be working part time when I get to Brisbane, while studying full time at ACU in Banyo. I'm quite studious but also enjoy drinks and a good party on occasion. In my spare time i'm usually dabbling in some art and crafts, trying a new recipe, reading, meditating, playing tennis or pottering in the garden. I'm a reliable and adaptable housemate. Apart from requiring basic hygiene and tidiness, I'm happy to go with the flow of your already established house arrangements. I always pay rent and bills on time. I'm vegetarian but don't mind if others eat meat. I'm looking for a home with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, where housemates keep an eye out for each other even while maintaining their independent lives. If you have a room that might be a good fit please get in touch. Thanks!
