Hi! I'm a country girl now working full time in Syd in the Environment sector. I love cooking, shopping for food, and going out for food. I also enjoy fitness! I am very social but also like being a hermit in my room once and a while. I love having big sleep-ins on the weekend then doing brunch, or something active like a bushwalk/rock climbing, or seeing music/art/festivals/farmers markets. I am currently in a very old terrace and I suspect the owner will soon be selling- so I'm keeping an eye out for spare rooms. I'd like my own room, in a house with other working professionals (I like to be in bed early-ish on school nights!). I'm looking for a semi social household, with two-three other housemates. I have a girlfriend but she has her own place and we spend equal amounts of time at one anothers' houses. I don't have a car so would really like to live near a train station :) Message me if you think I might be a good addition to your home!
Hello there! I'm a journalism graduate travelling in Sydney now, originally from Singapore. I'm respectful, tidy and easy going, would love a pint over a chat with mates every now and then with no problem giving people their space. I'm looking for a double room for my boyfriend (he's from France) and I. If you think I'm a potential housemate, kindly drop me a text. Cheers x
I'm looking for a room in a house/flat with social and considerate housemates. I'm easy-going, social and considerate. I work full time in the CBD. I like traveling, reading, philosophy, arts, films, current affairs, etc. During my free time, I like catching up with friends and trying new restaurants, bars and cafes. Please get in touch if you have a room in my preferred areas or would like to team up to rent a house.
Hi I am a single, clean, quiet, working Australian male. I need somewhere quiet during the day as I do some work from home. I love peace and quiet so I'm after a quiet location - no planes flying overhead, no major roads or rail close by. One major reason I need to move is I have neighbours dogs driving me crazy with constant barking so I need somewhere that doesn't have this problem. Nature/gardens/greenery would be great. For housemates, generation Y would be good I only want to live with Australians/English people not other languages/cultures My budget of $250/w is including bills and internet No young kids or smokers or dogs. Internet is essential. I will consider places out of Sydney such as Central Coast and rural areas. Cat-friendly would be a huge bonus.
Hello! I'm Jim - a Melbournian professional who made the inevitable move up to Sydney for work about 18 months ago. I recently moved out of my old place and went away for a couple of months, so I'm looking for a new place to share with some wonderful new people. I work for an engineering consulting firm so I'm quite busy during the week, but I like to recover from the daily grind by cooking and catching up over dinner, heading out for a meal, relaxing on the couch or playing sport. I keep fit and healthy and eat well, but I love craft beer, social events and a bit of indulgence on weekends. I'm considerate, responsible, clean, financially (and mentally) secure and very easy to get along with. I get along well with everyone, especially if they're considerate, interesting and social. I have an extremely diverse/random array of interests, so we'll definitely have a few in common - from sport and beer to philosophy and politics to travel and music. It would be great to call my housemates mates, so I'm ideally looking for people who will want to have some fun and do things together occasionally (whilst still respecting the need to sleep and be productive during the week).
Hi All. I am 28 and work full-time in the not for profit sector. I am a fun and easygoing person and am looking for a house with like-minded people. I enjoy a chat and sharing a glass of wine or two with my housemates but am equally respectful of giving people their space. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, my name is Michelle. I'm studying the Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Sydney and work part-time as a medical receptionist. I'm searching for a twin share room or single room within short distance to USYD. The ideal place would have a desk or space for me to put a desk, internet access, and a decent sized wardrobe. I also need a quiet and peaceful environment and would prefer to live with other students or working professionals. More about me - I am originally from Melbourne and have been in Sydney for almost 2 years. I have lived in flatshare before so know how to respect the space/privacy of others and how to clean up after myself. Please contact me if you have a suitable place!
Hellllooo :) I'm looking for a place to stay from around the 24th Oct although I can sort out temporary accomodation for a week or so if the right place comes available a little later. About me.. Well I grew up in Malta and have been in Aus a year so far but am intending to stick around for at least another full year .. Longer if some wonderful design company would like to sponsor me eventually. I'm house trained so won't leave a trail of destruction and share house trained so will pay my bills on time and all that. I smoke but not too much and wouldn't ever do that inside anyway I'm chatty and social but not loud and don't get offended whenever anyone tells me to stop talking.. Which after a little wine you will most definitely feel the need to.. But have my quiet days where I'll retreat to my room and read/paint/watch wierd documentaries about things I never thought I wanted to learn about.. I'm also attempting to learn to hula hoop so feel free to point and laugh when I ungracefully wobble around I'm 29 and 3/4s and an Interior Architect so can understand quite a bit about houses should anything go wrong and need fixing.. Thought I'd throw that in as its something I can bring to the table.. Also love cooking and have been raised on some lovely Mediterranean dishes which I'll happily cook up for everyone once in a while :)
I recently moved to Sydney to work on setting up an Australian office for my current company in the US. I'll be in Sydney through at least May 2016, and have been staying in Surry Hills and really love it. I currently work from home, so I tend to be around pretty frequently,. I don't know a whole lot of people here, and figured the flatmates situation would be a great way to meet people.
Hey! I'm 24 and work full-time in media. I enjoy keeping active, exploring markets on the weekends and the occasional Netflix binge. I'm very easy going, tidy and don't mind a wine or two after a long week at work. Hoping to find similar people to live with, who are happy to let me do my own thing, but also down for a drink or Sunday brunch. Please get in contact if you think I could be the right fit for your home! Cheers.
I'm a 27 year old from Scotland, and have just arrived in Sydney to start my second year working holiday visa. I been travelling for the last 18 months, through South America, South East Asia and Australia. My background is in the design industry but am working in hospitality at the moment. I'm friendly out going, and love to socialise but at the same time try to find a balance to give myself some me time. I'm clean and tidy, and very respectful making me an ideal housemate. I enjoy going to concerts, festivals and gigs and like to cook when I have the time, with or without a glass of wine!
Hi! I am a 32 year old professional female working in HR within the banking industry. After 8 years of harmoniuos house sharing as a single, I moved in with the ex and it really did not work out well so looking for a great home with cool flatmates to go back to my GoT binging and socialising weekends. I'm open minded and am seeking a comfortable, relaxed and functioning environment. I am respectful of other people's boundaries, friendly and grew up in a strict South American household so I am neat and always pick up after myself because I'm sure my mum would find out somehow if I didnt! Looking for a bedroom with wardrobe space (fair bit) and own bathroom, I don't drive so no need for a carspace. I work during the week, sometimes long hours and I tend to be pretty lowkey on school nights. On the weekends I am usually out and about. I cook but very sparodically and don't even sit to eat until I've cleaned the kitchen up usually. My move date is flexible as I am camping out at my parents' having my laundry done for me, so I am quite comfortable to wait until suitable move dates are organised.
Hey guys, My name's Rochelle. I'm a 24 year-old professional working full-time in the city. I'm friendly, mature, tidy, financially secure and an excellent house mate. I'm looking for easy going, clean, social and considerate house mates. I prefer people that are social and outgoing (willing to cook a meal or share a drink together) and yet also like there own space and downtime. Look forward to hearing from you guys! Rochelle :)
Hi, I've been back in Australia for two years having spent the last 14 years living and working in London. I work in the film Industry. I'm British born but grew up in Melbourne. I work full-time, and while there is an office in Surry Hills that I can use, I prefer working from home most days. I'm looking for a professional, easygoing housemate 35+. Ideally just one housemate, but would consider living with two. Ideally I'd like a larger bedroom (smaller is OK if there is a study). I'm looking for a house that feels like home, I don't mind getting a cleaner, I like to cook, and am pretty relaxed about things generally. I smoke occasionally but can do that outside. I've been looking to move for a few months now, but haven't found the right combination of home and flatmate yet. Pet's are no problem. I would also consider finding a house with another and us both moving in and going on the lease together. I'll respond to emails promptly, hope to hear from you.
I am an easy-going, clean and respectful person who is responsible and reliable. A house of 3 to 4 bedrooms will absolutely be preferred. I also like the peaceful atmosphere of my own space when I am tired. Love to socialise, share food, books, stories and hang out with anyone who is up for it!
I'm Alex, a 25 year old male living the 9-5 corporate life. Hobbies include staying active by going to the gym and playing touch football. I stay pretty tame through the week, either at training or the gym most nights after work. Weekends are spent hanging out with friends. I'm very easy going, respect a clean living environment, happy to share meals etc but also respect each other's down time and privacy.
I'm Japanese/Brazilian moving from Japan to Sydney for a year with a working holiday visa. I'm easy going and open minded person. Need to move ASAP.
I am currently living in the beautiful Coogee, have my own room but unfortunately my lease is coming to an end within the month and am looking for either another private room or shared.. depending on the price :) I work full time for a Recruitment Agency although I am not a consultant, work is based in the City. I enjoy spending time with my friends over dinner and a few drinks, I am more of a bar person, not really a go to a club kinda girl thats not to say you may see me in there the odd occasion. :) I am very clean and respectful of other house mates. I enjoy catching up with house mates, maybe cook us all dinner once a week or hang out.. I do also appreciate my chilled out time. :)
Hey there :) I'm Luke, a 23 year old guy currently living in Windsor, working in carpentry and waiting for my security license to be processed after studying. I'm a pretty busy guy but when I am home I like to become friends and have a good laugh whenever housemates are around. If you aren't mates it's not fun :) Don't have my license at the moment but it's in the goals to get it ASAP. Living close to a train station is preferred. I have a bike and like to keep fit so it doesn't have to be right next to a station :) lol Been at shared houses for a while and I'm looking for a good place to stay for the longer term where everyone understands each other's situations and we all work around each other to make it a good environment :D (at the moment it seems like dream to find the perfect housemates!) I'm pretty easy going and chill about a lot of stuff. I don't care who you are or what you do if you're not an a-hole then I will treat you with respect and do what i can to be there for you! I've lived with a bunch of different people in the past 5-6 years including women so I understand that everybody's different and yeah...if your house is badly unhygienic then don't even bother contacting me !!! I set my date to move as Today, but i honestly don't mind if you have a bit of waiting. I'm not going to rush these things anymore, need to find the right fit for everyone so we can live in harmony :) Hoping to hear from some Awesome people soon so we can get the ball rolling.. Cheers Luke.

Hey I'm Anna, illustrator and 3D artist from Germany, about to move to Sydney. Since I'm looking to get a full time position in Sydney, I probably won't be home a lot. I've lived in shared apartments for nearly 6 years and always liked hanging out together with a glass of wine, going out or just having a conversation but if you need your own time I will stay out of your way, sometimes I need time to myself as well. I'm looking forward to see what it's like to live in Sydney for a longer period of time and I am quite open to the place's area. A private room would be great, everything else shared is perfect though. I'm tidy, outgoing and I naturally am a very happy person. In my free time I like to draw a lot, work out, cook, enjoy Australia's nature and travel. To meet lots of new people is something I am so excited about, so if you feel like you'd enjoy living with me or if you have any questions please let me know, I'd be very pleased to hear from you!
Hi, we are an easy going couple from Scotland who have both just arrived in Australia recently. Both working full time, will be in Sydney until February!
I'm originally from Scotland but have lived in Australia for eight years. I work extremely hard so look forward to a relaxed and chill environment to come home to, but I am also sociable and always up for a night out and a glass or two of vino. Above all I am extremely genuine, caring and respectful.
