I'm a 22 year old (gay) guy, working full time in the CBD as a software developer. I like to spend my downtime either going out with friends with friends or catching up on shows and video games. I'm very laid back and wouldn't mind hanging out and getting to know my housemates, but also equally enjoy just doing my own thing and respecting each other's space. I'm not a complete neat-freak but I do like to keep things tidy, and hoping for similar. Move in date are flexible, I just need a few weeks notice. Stay duration also flexible, but preferably something between 5-12 months. Anyways, let's have a chat if you want to know more!
Chill, LOLs and sincere is what you get with me. 22 at the time of writing this and a student at the University of Melbourne studying Masters in Management. I am open to all lifestyles and do not have any quirks of my own. I do like my space and can be a bit introverted but once comfortable you'll be sure to see me do some weird dance moves around the house. Love music. Sportsman by nature and bit of a fitness freak. Always up for a walk or run and a game of soccer. Love talking random shit and blabbering random things. I respect everyone and their freedom.
Hi, I am Adrien, 26. I am IT engineer. I love music, fitness, photography, traveling and food ! I am really social and enjoy a good chat here and there, tidy, I enjoy socializing after work over some food or a drink but I also like to have my own space. I am really easy going and always up to try new things !
Hi my name is Simon and I'm looking for accommodation for 2months at this stage. I'm easy going, like being social and keeping fit. I work full time, and am well house trained. I like to cook, eat, and try new things. Love having a beer and a chat. My main source of enjoyment is design, art, landscapes and trees.
Hey, Yo! I'm looking to move out of my current flat as it is a bit far from work. Flexible move in date. If anyone has a spare room hit me up! I work full-time in Marketing in the Melbourne CBD. I'm originally from NZ but moved over 4 months ago. I'm super easy going, very social and super clean and tidy, enjoy keeping fit, brunching and Netflix. Hit me up!
why helloooooo, I'm Charlotte or Charlie! I'm just looking to find my own little room and make some friends to live with. about me then? where do I start... I'm a very creative and passionate about art so you may find me in my room painting, sketching or even reading a book. I eat a pretty simple diet, I'm vegan so I won't be cooking meat or anything, you don't have to be though! I work full time as an apprentice in hairdressing and looking to work in bar work too :) I always pay my rent on time. I'm a very clean, bubbly, happy person who loves a good laugh and a chat, but also likes some quiet time which I would do in my room or while we catch something on tv together. I enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea. I can move in anytime from now to next month! I can't wait to hear from you!
I am Kim from Berlin, Germany and I am a stage and costume designer. I am a clean and respectful roomie, who loves to hang out with you but I am also very independent. I am definitely looking for a place with nice flatmates who like to hang and chat, as I am new to the world down under. I am planning on travelling the continent as well, so for now I might just need a room for 2-4 months. a flexible(-ish) lease would be perfect for me.
Hello there! I'm Tracey, easy to get along with, Clean, Bubbly, I'm a hairdresser by profession, however not in that field now but could give you a haircut, lol. Hey, I'm Ainsley :) I am currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Journalism at RMIT and working part time in a cafe on weekends and as a journalist through the week, travelling to Ballarat on Thursdays and Fridays. I am easygoing, friendly and enjoy meeting new people. I am fairly busy with uni and two jobs, but on weekends I love to socialise and am happy to chat anytime :) I'm looking for housemates who are also friendly and happy to socialise but also have their own space. Currently looking for somewhere for 3-6 months, but it could potentially be longer. I am looking to move out of my current apartment from the 27th September onwards, so my move date is flexible. Feel free to send me a message if you think I'd fit in with you!

I'm pretty social, tidy and respectful to others. I love to meet new people to share adventures with. I like having a quite night home with a nice dinner or cheese platters, but I also love going out for fun on the weekends. Normally I have a busy lifestyle with different jobs, volunteering, meeting friends, going to the gym and out for dinners. I speak Norwegian, Spanish and English and want to learn Italian or Portuguese. I'm looking for a nice flat with a good vibe and friendly people. Please contact me if you have any further questions Cheers, Tamia

Hello! I have just moved to Melbourne having been on the West Coast of Australia for the past nine months or so. I am looking to stay here and enjoy city life for at least four months so would be requiring accommodation for a mid-long term stay. I'm a considerate, bubbly and respectful 24-year old English female who is both clean and tidy. I have previously shared houses in Newcastle and London so know and respect the type of etiquette that should be held by all sharers. Although I'm a back packer and currently living out of bag, I'm craving a bit of normality and a non-bunk bed type of bed! Especially as I am looking to work full time. I love to cook and I am experimenting with baking so would be more than happy to make you some bits and pieces during my stay. I really need to doing some more excercise, motivators welcome. I like to explore local coffee shops. And I love the odd G&T. I would be looking to move in on/around the 24th September. I look forward to hearing from you.
I have recently been asked to work in Melbourne starting in 2 weeks so here i am trying to secure a home in Melbourne promptly. Once again I set deadlines for myself that are tight and i may have told my new boss that I can change departments on the 2/10. I calculated the maths in my head, the same mind that told me to start on the 2/10 and came to the conclusion that once again I may have overestimated my abilities. I have decided I need to utilise some of the skills I have written I possess in my resume to get me through this predicament I have put myself in. Using effective communication, creative thinking and taking initiative to get the desired result i hope to secure a property before the deadline. When all else fails I will employ desparation. A characteristic not mentioned in my resume, however it is attribute that is evident in interviews. If someone could offer me a room that would be great as I have a lot of clothes to pack and some hard decisions ahead of me In relation to culling some of these once loved items. I am a full time working, aspiring to something different every month 26 year old gal. I am like most of the descriptions on here, neat, friendly and looking for those qualities in prospective housemates. For fun? friends, eating, sleeping, dancing, eating, movies, music, eating, becoming obsessed with a musical instrument for a week, googling how long it takes to become a master at said instrument and giving up before i even begin. So you know, the usual stuff. My main selling point would be that i come with Frankie the Border Collie cross Lab puppy, she turned 1 a few months ago and is keen... I would love to write that she speaks 4 languages, packs the dishwasher and makes tea for you in the morning however she isn't quite there yet... She's used to living inside and cuddling to any willing participant. I am obsessed with her, she is obsessed with anyone who will give her attention. ** of note the speediness of me having to move to Melbourne i understand i may not find a house that can accommodate my pup and i. So she has alternative accommodation (with my mother who she loves more than i) if i find myself in a position where she can't move. DISCLAIMER: you can't tell from the photo however I do have a below knee amputation, why? Cancer. Why are you still on crutches? Still have cancer (although it is stable). Why are you writing this? To avoid awkward meetings. Any questions, i would be happy to answer.
I am a very easy going individual, not ever worried about too much. I work full time and also have a couple of other side projects that I'm involved with. I train most of nights of the week, eat only as much as I need to, read, play guitar here and there and most importantly, regularly laugh at my own jokes. My partying days are mostly at an end. In saying that when the time calls for it I can definitely have a drink if need be.
Respectful, friendly, non-smoker, hardly drink, work full-time and tidy around the house. I enjoy living in a clean home but occasionally have my relaxed days. I don't usually have friends over as I prefer socialising outside and keeping home as a place to relax and escape from all the noise and social demands. I have a king size bed and hope to find a big enough space for it and also someone who is similar so that we can co-exist in a happy and peaceful environment. If you'd like to know more, just send me a message.. 😄
I am working locally and am reliable. I lead a quiet life and love great food and culture. I have my own car so would like safe/secure parking and also love fitness & sport. Enjoy cooking and garden and dont mind animals. do not mind social environment however do like my time also as I work very hard during the week! A friday wine is always welcome however. I like pitching in around the house with what needs to be done. I would ultimately prefer somewhere bayside however am interested at all options if the fit is right.
Hi ,My name is Mirjana.im profesional cleaner.im quiet, responsible ,tidy and easy going so living with me should be posible hehe☺️When im not working i play tennis thats my passion ,i love riding my bike, reading books or just relaxing at home.
I am neat and tidy. I respect personal space as I enjoy my own personal space sometimes also. So I understand that people do want their privacy. I work full time in East Melbourne so week nights I prefer to chill and keep it low key when possible. Not saying I wouldn't be keen on a drink or so after a hard day. I am also studying online to finish up my Bachelor degree. On the weekends I'll normally either chill or go out and see friends for some drinks depending what's on I'm from the Mornington Peninsula so I want to be in between the city and there preferably :)
Im your down to earth gal who loves to explore all melbourne has to offer. I want to be part of a house where we can cook for each other and have some drinks together on the weekends. Ive been in sharehouses for over 4 years so know what the deal is. Contact me if you have a place that sounds like the go!
A funny, not-so-typical Indian girl on my way to become a pastry chef. So you can be assured of good food(vegetarian) any time :) Plus I'm a neat freak, manage chores well and socially affable.
Canadian living in Melbourne. Clean and considerate, likes to socialize, particularily over a bottle of wine (or two) after a long day. Working professional in the arch. and design industry, looking forward to getting out and seeing the city.
Hey! I'm Charlotte. I am from Germany and on a WHV in Australia. I'm looking for a fully furnished place to share with friendly, chilled people. Preferably I would like to move in end of September. So a bit about me. I am a friendly, considerate, open-minded and clean person. In my spare time I love cooking, so I would love to cook with my housemates or just hang out now and again. Also, I love travelling and enjoy meeting people from other countries. On weekends I enjoy hanging out with friends. On week nights I like considering going for a run, going to the gym or practicing some yoga. Lately, I've started to learn surfing, which I am very keen to improve. I also enjoy a good balance of quiet time/privacy too. If you think I might be a good fit for your place, contact me! :-) Would stretch budget a bit for right place. Looking forward to hearing from you guys!
33yr old Professional. ( Horologist ) Moving to Melbourne in late October for a new job and starting all over again. I'm pretty neat and tidy, Great sense of humor ,value mine and others privacy, love to cook, social but like to do my own thing from time to time, got to the gym a few times a week, home is my place to unwind and relax after work so don't mind a social drink every now and then, would be great to have housemates that could become friends and show me all the great local spots. Ideally i'd like to be a half an hour from the CBD via tram, train or bus. I love Melbourne but not too familiar with suburbs i may have overlooked so let me know! I Love the outdoors so any excuse to get away for a spot of fishing and I'm all in! Recently got my firearms license so do a bit of sport shooting too Love animals so if you have a social dog or cat i don't mind at all :) Just got myself a new car so undercover or off street parking would be great!
