I am a very friendly, easygoing person who is clean and tidy. I am very active so often like to be out of the house more than in it. I am a Primary School teacher. I am mainly looking to work and save as much money as possible before continuing my travels. I like to relax but also enjoy a drink every so often. I can fit into any crowd so I would be the perfect housemate 😊👍🏼
Hi! We're a couple who have been together 5 years and living together for 4, both on our own and in sharehouses. We're both musicians but not the loud kind. Paloma is a fantastic cook and loves baking so this arrangement will get you cookies, guaranteed ;) She is beginning her Masters of Primary Education at Melbourne University this year. Joe is a piano teacher, composer and bandleader. Both of us are into board games, horror movies, and we're more into dinner parties than party parties. Most importantly we're stable, reliable, and easy to get along with. Plus did we mention the cookies? We're looking for a easygoing, friendly and respectful housemate or housemates who would enjoy sharing the odd bottle of wine at the end of a long week. We come with furnishings including fridge, couch, TV, dining table etc for common use. We're also dog lovers! Looking for a house/flat near PT to movie into near the end of February. Shoot us a message if you think we'd be a good fit together.

I will be looking for work, but hopefully I can transfer with my current job in Tasmania. I love music, movies and relaxing with friends. I'm great at keeping tidy, always well mannered and respectful, and easy going. I live for coffee (I think coffee keeps me alive) and love dogs.

I am quite independent but I would still enjoy being able to hang out with my roommate and have a wine or two together My partner would be staying over couple of nights a week, or I would be staying at his, so I hope this would be ok with you! Please send me a message if you would like to know more :)
Hi there! I am an outgoing 23 year old moving to Melbourne from the north (brrr) of Sweden. I am starting a Master's Program at Monash University and am looking for a long-term rental. I am not too picky about my accommodation except for a private room and preferably close to the Caulfield campus. I am a non-smoker, keep my common areas clean and can make some yummy Swedish desserts. I enjoy the outdoors and travelling, have spent my last year in Cape Town working and spend a lot of time snowboarding during the winter. I will be studying at Monash during the days but hopefully meet some interesting people along the way in Melbourne so if you have any rooms available, please let me know! /Emma, your future roommate
I'm 21 years old and planning on studying a Bachelor of Nursing at ACU in 2017. Ideally, I am searching for a room inner-city, within walking distance to the city, but am willing to consider other locations up to around 30 minutes commute out. I'm clean, happy to do my share around the house and garden, quiet and considerate. A house with like-minded individuals would be perfect - happy to socialise with a movie, make dinner together occasionally etc. Not a smoker, don't have pets or require a car space.
Hey there, I'm 22 work full time in the financial services industry. I'm pretty tidy so no issue there. Love going out for a drink on the weekends or just catching up with friends! Would love to hear back from you. Albert.
My name is Marcia, I am Brazilian and I am 28yo. I've been living in Sydney for 3 years now and moving to Melbourne at the end of the month to study dance teaching. Back in Brazil I used to be a journalist for a travel magazine and a women's magazine as well. I also did acting, tourism and marketing. Since I move to Aus I've been working at the Qantas Chairmans Lounge (Sydney-Canberra-Melbourne). I am a very friendly person, I am always smiling and I avoid fights at all costs. Peace and love here hehe no drama. You won't see me home much. I am usually working, to save for my holiday trips (at least 2 in a year) and after I go to the gym, and anytime I have free I am at the beach. I also like to do some 10 min meditation before I go to sleep. On the weekends I go out to bars and clubs, but during the week pretty much taken by routine work-gym. Cheers!
An Aussie and a Swede have moved to Melbourne to explore the culture of AFL fanatics and brunch connoisseurs! We met in Canada whilst living abroad and it's been one big adventure, roaming multiple countries and hunting long-lasting memories along the way. Located in Sydney over the last 5 months or so (don't worry, we've seen the light). We both have a degree and are looking for work in our fields. We enjoy exercising (so that we can eat everything) and exploring new ideas. Not massive on the party scene anymore and would much rather a casual drink in a quieter area
Hi my names Eleni, i'm 22 and i've lived in melbs for 2.5 years originally from tassie, i moved over with work (i'm a retail manager in mens wear) i'm fun, relaxed and outgoing i take pride in where i live apart from my room hehe, i love fashion and clothes. i'm clean and tidy and i'm Greek so i must like to cook (jokes I'm shit i can steam and microwave but i'm 10/10 for menu log) my weekends if i'm not at work i'm heading to chapel street for a couple of drinks and a crazy time. I smoke full time and drink part time but trust me you'll have a good time living with me cause isn't that what life is all about having fun?
I’ve been a self-employed designer, business owner, tech enthusiast, friend, favourite uncle, & avid traveler. I’m super clean, respectful and social. My week consists of yoga, dinners out with friends & family and work which I enjoy. Deeply happy and anti-drama, I’m always looking to know more today than I did yesterday. Get in touch and say hello.
*** Please no room shares :) *** Independent but always down for a catch up or an adventure to places I haven't been in Melbourne yet. I'm originally from NZ but spent most of the year travelling through the UK and Aus. Working full time in business development and finishing my masters thesis which keeps me busy but I also like to get out and about in the weekends with my friends. I also play netball and beach volley competitively so ideally looking for a flat with like-minded individuals who keep active. Take pride in where I stay so like to keep it clean and tidy though a few dishes as you're running out the door is nothing to go crazy about. I also love wine, food and coffee and am always down for a brunch mission or a drink out although late nights aren't my speciality these days.. Looking for somewhere long term 6 months+ and would ideally like to move in with people my age as I intend to make friendships as well as flatmates.
I am originally from uk. Been in Melbourne 3 years now. I work in city and also study so this keeps me pretty busy. Looking for somewhere to call home. While I am sociable I am not looking for a party house but do enjoy the odd glass of wine or two with housemates. I am very reliable with rent and bills and can provide references to back this up.
Hi there, Australian/European 28 years old Professional/part time student AOU student. I am currently Working 5-6 nights at various locations around Melbourne in the security industry and study part time. When I have spare time I try to go to the gym or the dojo and catch up with family and friends. I love the beach, Kayaking, fishing, Camping, reading and pc gaming. I do not drink or smoke. References available as required. Looking to move in before the 11th of February, this date is flexible. Seeking Ideally long term accommodation 3-12 months I'm organised, tidy, independent, experienced share house boarder and I understand the dynamics required to maintain a progressive peaceful shared house hold. House mates who are easy going, respectful, honest, trust worthy, respectful of others things/privacy with good sense of humor and a generally positive outlook would be a bonus. I use my PC quite a bit when at home for studies and gaming so a decent internet connection is required. A clean neat house hold on or near the beach, with a view of the beach would be awesome! However by no means conditional. I have a car, almost any sort of parking conditions are OK unless it's 6 levels under ground :( I have a hospitality back ground with much experience in kitchens, so I'd say I'm a reasonably good cook. Although I find these days i'm more inclined towards cooking delicious efficient healthy meals. Organic ingredients wherever possible! I don't mind sharing food with the house mates as long as a viable fair sharing system is in place. I have my own cutlery, Tupper ware, plates, mugs, a toaster, small fridge, wine fridge ( maintains perfect drinking temperature)and a juicer for the kitchen. Happy to sell store or donate furniture that is already available in the house. I have all my own furniture for my room including my super gaming pc. If you might consider me as a compatible addition to your house hold or have any queries please don't hesitate to call or text me anytime after hours.
Hi potential new flatmate! Aadil, 22 from Scotland. Working full time at Specsavers (opticians). I have been sponsored to work in Melbourne for them over the next few years. Super socialable guy (being Scottish we love a drink haha) however I do respect people's privacy and need for quiet. I'm looking for something long or short term depending on what is available. Interest include going to the gym, cooking, music and football (soccer). So if anyone thinks I'd be a good match to live with please drop me a message.
I am really chilled during the week, work in a night club on the weekend. Easy going loves a wine keen to meet new people and have a fun share house
Hi my names Rory and I will be studying at the National Theatre Ballet school down in Melbourne this year 😊 I'll need a long stay room as my course begins this month and finishes in December. I am very very tidy and I like to take care of the house. I am down to earth and pretty cruisy, I love meeting new people and am extremely welcoming.

German dude looking for a Home and a Job in Melbourne asap. I've come here to improve my skills as a bartender and to lose my german accent. I've been living on my own for the last 6 years now, so I'm pretty familiar with housecleaning. I believe I'm a very relaxed Person to get along with. So I don't worry about things I can't change and try the best I can to have a good time. Hopefully you're looking for somone like that. See you soon.
I'm a very happy, easy going and active 25 year old. I work full time across two roles as a registered nurse and flight attendant (these days I'm home most nights and work 6:30am-2pm or am otherwise interstate just one or two nights a week at most) . When I'm not working I'm often at the gym or doing something active, out with friends or happy to just kick back at home with a wine in hand and Netflix :-) I am looking for a room or team up with likeminded and easy going individuals who enjoy a bit of banter and a laugh.
I'll be in Melbourne on a working holiday visa starting towards the end of February, but I'm looking to establish a settled life for the time I'll be there (I'm shooting for around 6 months at the moment). I'm from the US, and have been working in the hospitality/tourism industry in California and Colorado since I graduated from university a few years ago. I'm an avid reader and like to run, hike, and generally be active, but I also love a good Netflix binge. Brunch is my favorite past time. I'm ideally looking for a furnished room in a friendly flat, with people who like to hangout together but also respect personal time - I'm sociable but do like to have time to myself sometimes. I like to cook and bake, so as my flatmate(s), expect treats! I'm a generally tidy person, and have no qualms about pitching in to clean. I'm not a huge party person but do enjoy having friends over or going out for dinner and drinks. I plan on spending my weekends exploring and getting to know Melbourne. If you'd like more info, please message me!
HI there! My husband and I are moving to Melbourne from Texas, USA on 24 January and are looking for a furnished apartment/share. I currently work in architecture designing schools and will be researching with the University of Melbourne for the year. My husband will look for work and/or travel around the country. We are avid travelers (Australia will be continent #7!) who love good food and good coffee - both of which Melbourne is known for! We have both lived in shared houses in the past and love meeting new people. We are flexible with term and would like to stay in one place at least 3 months up to 11 months or a year. We prefer a private bathroom and keep our rent and bills to less than $300pw
I am a full-time student studying architecture design currently in RMIT as well as having my part-time job. I keep tidy and clean in my space as well as cleaning public area sometimes. I am not after party, smoking and drug. I enjoy having a night in with take out and a DVD, but also enjoy checking out restaurants and bars. I like to live in a clean and tidy home and am looking for people who agree. I am considerable and kind and would like to make new friends and share each other stories and happy time. I took an apartment by myself and manage it, and I lived with more than 6 people in 2 years. Therefore, I think I really know how to get along with my new roommates. I hope my room is furnished and prefer to live with males in house or town house which is less than 3 people, and fast speed internet, if there is a garden or yard, it would be perfect. Nor sharing room. I can move in February.
Hello! I am a Canadian nurse who moved here with a girlfriend but we are open to living in separate apartments if need be. We are both so excited to be spending a year in Aus! We have a working holiday visa but are hopeful that this could turn into a real move across the world. We are responsible housemates but also love to have fun. We love to travel, enjoy music and good food. We are respectful of the house and like to live in a tidy space. We just want to have the best time we can, and make some money while settling into Melbourne! We know a good balance and we would love to make some good friends that would want to hang out, grab a drink or head to the beach for the weekend. Both of us are looking for a private room but it doesn't have to be in the same house!
Hey, I've just moved across the ditch from NZ. I'll be working full time in Melbourne as a doctor. I'm a social guy and I like a bit of banter with the flatties after a day at work. I'm into fitness, I'm a non smoker, I clean up after myself and I love a good snap story :p
Hi there! My name is Amalie and I am a Danish exchange student. I used to study in Scotland, but now I am going to Melbourne to finish my degree in English Literature! I hope to find a cool flatshare where my flatmates enjoy cooking together, grabbing a beer or get worked up over a board game from time to time :D With that said, I of course respect a closed door and the need for privacy. I've lived in many different flatshares and I am a sociable and tidy flatmate. In my sparetime I like to socialise, work out, watch TV shows, try to gain courage to perform at yet another spoken word event (hipster alert), dream about what dog I will have in the future, listen to music and play guitar and sing ! Hope to hear from you! Kind regards Amalie
Hi! My name is Mollie, I'm 21, I've just finished studying fulltime and I'm working in retail. I'm a very bright, bubbly and easy going person, I'm also neat and tidy, courteous and respectful and I really enjoy cooking and baking. I love to get out and about but a quiet one in front of the TV with some comfort food is totally my style too. I'm happy being social and interacting with my house mates as well as taking some time to myself. I'm very serious about finding somewhere and I'm looking to move closer to work, I'd love to be able to find a house or flat, sharing with ideally a maximum of three people that I really get along with. If I could find somewhere with a private bathroom and room that would also be ideal.
HELLO! I am a 20 year old vego naturopathy student that has lived in sunny Perth since age 5! I made the big move back to Melbourne in Jan '17 after years of telling people 'this is definitely the year I'm moving back.' I'm work full time at Origin Energy in the city and work weekends at Tall Timber in Prahran! (I'm a busy bee). I love my job and am organised financially. I am clean and tidy, and have minor OCD issues about dirty kitchens, so if you need someone that will clean up after themselves in all areas, I'm your gal. I enjoy walking, coffee, eating lots of delicious home cooked food and hanging out with friends (that hopefully I will acquire in the first few months of moving). I am a food blogger so if we go out for any meal you've got to be cool with me taking some aesthetically pleasing photos and making sure we sit at a table with the best lighting ;). I am interested in a private room, preferably in a flat or townhouse but I'm super flexible with whatever works. Looking for something relatively close to the city, but again, flexible with this. I also love animals and children and do heaps of babysitting. Thanks for reading a bit about me!! Ruby
Hi I'm 38 year old girl looking for a place on the outskirts of the city. I'm originally from Perth and been here just over a year. I love pets especially dogs. I work full time and generally quiet on week nights, weekends vary. I'm clean and respectful. I am an outside smoker. I'm after a place with no more than 2 others. Must have parking not just street parking. Also it needs to have a tiny bit of storage as I do have my own things eg fridge, washer, dryer ect
I'm working full time as a lawyer for the government and I'm looking for a fun loving yet a professional household. I'm a good spirited and adventurous character who loves socialising and having a drink, but also requires alone time to recharge. I love playing board games, hanging out and binge watching TV. I cook reasonably often and enjoy sharing meals. I'm a pretty active person and will usually have a dinner or a drink after work with friends and go out on the weekends. Sometimes though I just need to chill on the couch like a vegetable. I think sharing homes can be a great way how to meet new people and make new connections - however it can also be incredibly challenging, so I recommend that we have a drink and see if we are compatible.
Monday to Friday corporate life, I work full time in HR. Ideally looking for something 6+ months. I'm always down for binge watching a good movie or tv show but it'll never be Game of Thrones... Social but also want to be able to chill out on my own Clean bathrooms and kitchens are a must Someone with a cat would be cool but no pets is okay
Hi, I'm a 28 Years old Mexican international student currently looking for a single room. I work in Kew as a Cleaner Supervisor (I'm certain you wont have any cleaning problems with me) Monday - Friday and go to school 3 days a week to the CBD, for that reason I'd like a room in a place mostly with easy access to the CBD. I normally have a busy schedule some days a week between work and study, but I may have off my weekends to either chill at home or hang out with friends, I have a TV and a PS4 I am happy to share, as well as a car to do maybe a road trip, go to the beach, or even grocery shopping. and advantage point with me is that as being Mexican, I'll be able and happy to cook plenty of traditional dishes from my country, way better than the ones we can get at any restaurant here. Also due to my occupation, I have a great vacuum machine and I wont mind doing some thorough vacuuming of the house once in a while (I have some experience doing house cleaning, although I consider is important to share all activities, I know how to do them efficiently and fast. We will never have to hire any cleaning services). I hope to hear from you guys soon, and I wish also to meet my future housemates.
I am looking for friendly share house, my current lease expires early March so I'm looking for somewhere for late feb/early March. I like to catch up and have a drink or dinner and a chat at the end of the day, so social housemates would be preferable. I work full time in the public service and study part time, so I'm not looking to move into a crazy party house. If there's anyone out there keen to help me stay fitness-motivated, that would also be a massive benefit! In general I am looking for a hygienic house, happy people, wireless internet and good ju-ju are a must. I'm looking for either an established share house or happy to also set up one from scratch with others.
Hey there! My name is Delisa, I'm 18 years old and from Germany :-) I am on a working holiday in Australia for 4 months and currently doing in internship in Melbourne. So I look for a place to stay for two months (January - March). I would love to live with people around my age to spend a nice time together! I am a really tolerant, open - minded and helpful person ;-) I would love to hear from you! xoxo Delisa
Hi, my name is Christiane. I'm a 27 year old trainee solicitor. I'm usually busy with work or my side hustle - writing and poetry - so I will stay out of your hair. That said, I'm not about hiding in my room either. I enjoy reading and tv - crime and animation particularly. I am trying to become a gym person but to be honest, I prefer being out in nature to exercise. I love traveling and art and opera and appreciate people who are reasonably clean - but I wouldn't stress if the place wasn't clean here or there. I have made a lifestyle change to quit drinking although it's not a blanket ban. I'll never say never. I smoke occasionally but am in the process of quitting and would not smoke near the house if my housemate was averse to it. I appreciate intelligence and nerds particularly as I am a closet nerd. Plus, I'm an INFP/ENFP if you know what that means then good for you :) I am open to living with people of any sexual or religious or other affiliation. All I ask is kindness and calm. I am social but in my books, my home is my sanctuary.
i am 27 male , commercial bricklayer. i work full time so im not home often when i am i like to chill out, play xbox or go to the gym.. im fairly out going and easy to get along with. i think im a pretty good a cook and i love going out for food.
