I'm a full-time working Finnish girl looking for short- time accommodation in Melbourne. I'm in search of an awesome flat/room in a shared flat to stay at before I embark on my travels to the North East in mid September. I've lived in St Kilda for the last 6 months but my lease ends on the 5th of August. As a housemate I'm very clean and organized, take others into consideration and enjoy chats around shared meals. My focus in on work but I also like to explore the city on weekends. I'm not a party animal but not a party pooper either :)
3 fun people from England, all work in Hospo, enjoy food and drink and having a good time. We also like a nice clean space to live in. Here for a few months saving money before we continue our travels.
We are both keen runners and love to travel. Jon is a web developer and Graham is a paramedic. We moved from the UK to Melbourne around 9 months ago.
Hey I'm Chloe, I'm a 29 YO professional from the UK working full time in the CBD. Just looking for a nice little set up for the next 6 months until my Visa runs out in January 2018. Something fairly modern and up to date close to a train (not a tram) station would be ideal. I'd love to live with professional people who are good a balancing chilled with sociable between maybe 25 and 35 but i'm not into house parties sorry! Looking for something in and around South Yarra, Prahran, Windsor, Elwood, Elsternwick and St Kilda East but open to any other Suburbs in and around this side of the City if the vibe was right. Would like to pay no more than $250 a week which is inclusive of bills. As a minimum I'm going to need a room which has a double bed and BIRs/free standing Wardrobe as a minimum. All small storage I can get myself but I don't need/want a desk i'm not a student my study days are long gone. I don't have any issues with pets i actually love them, a place that has a bath would be lush and ideally (but not completely essential) a bedroom that has a split air conditioning system. Slide in my DMs if your place is ticking all of my boxes. Thanks :)
Hi there My name is Shaek (pronounced shake) and I am 20 years old and moved to Melbourne from Sydney a couple months ago and am looking am looking to rent in a new place. Im not the best at selling myself, but here it goes. Fijian-Indian heritage, born in Sydney, put a hold on my Bachelor of Construction Project Management, working full time at Specsavers. Being the eldest of 5 children, I have a strong understanding of personal space as well as overall cleanliness and am quite dependable and reliable when it comes to house stuff; chores, cooking, paying bills on time etc etc. I like to keep to myself but am always up for a laugh and love listening to people talk. I am known to be an extremely relaxed and laid back person so I can assure you that there will be no conflict over mundane issues. I am an avid reader and often tend to lock myself in the room, so some days you may not even hear a peep. Fishing is another hobby I seriously enjoy as well as eating at places with great reviews, going out with friends (very rarely), playing board games with friends (very often when I was in Syd), having a drink or 10, watching movies and more. My age being 20 has never been a barrier as I am easy to get along with and open-minded and have been told that I am just an all-round-average-top-bloke. (Please let me know if you’re interested in me immediately as I need a new place by the 1st of July :D)
I have just finished a Bachelor of Education and am beginning an animation course next year. I have been living in Brunswick for a while but am originally from Torquay. I like hanging with the home crew as well as pondering in my room.
I am a exchange student from Chile I am 23 years old, doing my last year of Journalism and will be taking classes at Monash Uni. I love to go out for a drink or dancing during the weekends, also very motivated for doing trips, from the beach to hiking. I also enjoy a lot going to concerts (almost all type of music, never been to a heavy metal) and to the theater. I am a very respectful person for all types of living and culture and always curious to learn more about new people. I am really out going, easy to relate and easy to persuade in any fun plans. At the same time I understand the need for personal space and time. I might be a little messy in my personal space but will tidy things up, at least so that my things do not bother you. In the kitchen I am kind of a maniac and I can't stand a messy kitchen so I will clean it quickly. I love to cook for people and sharing meals.
Hi guys! We are a couple, both studying for our masters degree, both working part time. I (Alonso) am an architect, and brenda is an urban designer. We are currently living on a one bed in skilda but not very happy with the area so looking for a place in either the northern suburbs, or the South Yarra-Toorak-Prahran area. Cheers!
My names Jack, I'm a 21 year old animator and game designer by night and a Full time sales employee by day. I'm always good for a chat and chilling out. My various hobbies are music and songwriting, video games, travelling, socialising, sightseeing and just generally messing about. I love meeting new people and desperately want to move closer to my work. I'm always down for having a drink or two or just sitting back and watching T.V. Look forward to hearing from you!
My name is JayDee and I'm looking to move around the city. I've just moved to VIC from Cairns, QLD and staying in Drouin, Gippsland temporarily. Pretty chilled open minded person. Very clean and tidy and keep to myself. I don't judge anyone and just like to enjoy life. I'm a none smoker but don't have a problem being around smoke as I used to be a smoker myself and enjoy a relaxing beer on the weekends. Looking for something long-term with some easy going open minded people. Hit me up if your looking for a housemate and we can have a chat. Cheers. ૐ
Hello this is Sky! Me and Jojo,we are two girls looking for a room close to tram or train station. We are lovely girls, with good reference, tidy, happy and relaxed. Respect each other as we share everyday together!
Hi! I'm moving to Melbourne from Hobart and looking for a house that i can slot easily into! Even though i have a few friends already in Melbourne, ideally i am looking for a house that is also a 'home', and I would want to be good friends with my housemates! I like going for beers at any opportunity i can, but also snuggling on the couch watching a movie. I have a little earring/craft business and am in a band in Hobart (playing in Melb in Nov!). I'll be working full time in South Melbourne but am willing to commute for the perfect house. I have lived in many share houses (went to uni in Brisbane) so I am very respectful of peoples spaces and love a clean shared area.
Moving to Melbourne for a two year contract with a not for profit near flagstaff. House trained (have my own place in Canberra), love cinema, enjoy mates, Crossfit, beach and beer. And I'll put it out there.....karn the Dees!
Hi i'm Nathan from the U.K., Moving to Melbourne on the 03/07/2017 as i have job lined up.
Hi, I'm Matt and I'm moving to Melbourne from Perth in late August. I am 28 and I work remotely in WA so I will be flying in and out from Melbourne to Perth every few weeks. I play guitar and spend a lot of time out attending shows. I also like going to the gym, watching sport (AFL, NBA etc), learning, talking and am looking forward to exploring Melbourne more. I am very clean and respectful, vegan, an LGBTQI ally, feminist and generally quite progressive in the way I think. I'm looking for a room not too far from the city to rent that is hopefully large enough to fit my King-size bed and bedside tables. I also have a car and undercover parking is preferred if possible but definitely not a deal-breaker - however I am allergic to Cats and some breeds of dog so unfortunately that is.
Hey my name is Tash, I'm 24 and I am looking to join or start a share house with some rad people. A bit about me: I like to stay fit and healthy, I play women's AFL and exercise regularly. I love cooking - my portion control is horrible so there is always plenty to go around. I love a wine or nine with dinner (or without dinner). I enjoy hanging out with mates, travelling, adventures, and a good old boogie. I brunch more often than I should and can get around netflix binging any day of the week. I'm housetrained - clean, respectful, pay bills on time and all that jazz. I am always up for some banter and would love a "home" rather than just a house, so definitely after good vibes with people. If anything above sounds like it's up your alley, shoot me a message Cheers! :)
After almost 2 months travelling, and after my last 5 months living in Melbourne, I came back here for a new job and a stable accommodation from 3 weeks to 3 months for now, but I might stay here until April in next year. I am easy going, open minded, tidy, clean, clam, friendly... I love to meet different people from different countries, I prefer my future flat mates are English speakers, chilling together, like watching movies, listening musics, cooking and dinner together sometimes, also they will have to be clean, would like to clean in the common areas after used, thanks!
Hello, here's a little about me: I've lived in Melbourne most of life but was originally from Perth. Lived in student share-houses for a few years and looking for a more homely vibe now! I currently work at a bar in the Southbank Arts Precinct and I also play bass in a couple of bands. My educational background is in Music, Philosophy and Psychology. In my spare time I like to read, meditate, write, walk, catch up with friends, play, write and listen to music, garden and learn about anything and everything I don't yet know. Forewarning: I'm into meditation, I'm vegan, I get up early and I rarely party haha. Looking for a place with clean, like-minded people who I can learn and grow with and who enjoy co-existing and creating a shared space rather than isolating themselves. I have a little black cat named Pepper who has lived in a few different places with me over her 3 years and always settles in to new environments very quickly. She's a sweetheart and has shared spaces with other cats and dogs without issue. I have minimal possessions but anything I do have is yours to share! Ideally I'm looking for a place with some private space for me to work in, as spend a lot of time tinkering and studying and getting lost in thought. A granny flat I could harness, a small spare room or a large bedroom I can section off would be perfect! Looking to live with one or two other people max, and if you're interested in applying for a lease together I'm up for that too!
Hi there, I'm looking for a non-share, short term 1 bedroom apartment or town house. I have an excellent rental history and like to keep my home maintained to a high standard. If you're planning to go away for a few months or require a short term tenant that is responsible and mature then I'm your girl. I look forward to hearing from you, Brie.
I'm originally from Canada and am looking for a place to call home in Melbourne. I'm looking for a long term place, no less than 6 months. I enjoy an active, busy lifestyle and am very easy going. In my spare time I enjoy running, rock climbing, crafting, playing guitar, yoga and cooking. My main mode of transport is my bike and I love love love food. I have a lot of experience living with roommates and in group living situations and am very respectful and tidy. I'm looking for a room in a quiet, tidy house. I'm not necessarily looking for a best friend in a roommate but am always keen on house meals, movie nights and sharing some beers or wine. I also have references from my previous living situation in Melbourne if needed.
We're a fun, laid back couple who love playing board games over a couple of drinks. We're socially active and spend a lot of time out of the house, but want to live with a couple who like to hang out at home as well. We are currently planning our wedding, which makes us feel old, but we're young at heart! :) Kira works full time as a retail business manager and her hours flex to nights and weekends. Dave is a Jack of all trades and master of all. From booking bands, to writing for magazines, making music and stage management - this cafe manager is always on the go. We generally like our down time because we are quite busy, but looking to create a relaxed home family vibe to compliment. :)
