I'm a graphic designer and I run my own freelance design company. I work from home most days and also on the road a fair bit to meet clients. I'm looking for a room to rent in a suburb not too far out with people who are friendly and considerate and wouldn't mind sharing with a very cute and friendly dog. I'm a pretty social person, and love catching up with mates for dinner and drinks on the weekends or go for bike rides. I'll describe myself as easy going and clean and like to to maintain the shared living environment in a clean and hygienic state. I have lived in share houses for many years so I know how to be a decent and considerate housemate. I also have a 5 year old Japanese Spitz who is completely house trained. He doesn't chew except his own toys, and he's very laid back and friendly and doesn't bark much at all. He is great with cats and other small dogs, but is scared of big or aggressive dogs. But he will pretty much follow you everywhere and loves food!
Hey! I'm a respectful 21 year old English female looking for some lovely people to live with during my time in St Kilda. I'm working full time behind a bar. I love a good night in with some wine, music, days at the beach, movie nights, etc. Promise to be the best roomie I can be: far from boring but also not an asshole to live with!

Currently seeking a room to stay for a minimum of 9 months. I'm looking for a place to rent that has all the bills included including wi-fi. May be willing to have bills not included if the rent is cheap enough. I like to keep things clean and tidy and am genuinely a chill and outgoing person. I am very respectful of people's privacy, and I also work full-time. I'm looking for a household that I can chill with/ share laughs/ go out for drinks with. Thanks! Clodia X
Hi! My name is Francois I'm 28 years old Belgian. I've been travelling around Australia since September and I'm now looking for a place to stay for the next 5 months. In used to be a digital project manager in Belgium. I will look for a 9 to 5 job in a web agency here in Melbourne. I love music and sport. I like all kind of style but I prefer folk, rock and deep house. I'm a fan of tennis and soccer. As a good belgian citizen I like to grab a beer with friends and go out for a dinner. I'm a respectful person and will keep share spaces always clean.
Well I've just recently moved back to Aus after two amazing years in London. Setting up mostly from the beginning so ideally looking to move in with someone who has all or most of the basics. Happy to contribute to anything else needed though. Pretty laid back person, enjoy the usual stuff like hanging out with friends, travel, the occasional night out and a few beers here and there haha. Would consider myself pretty clean and tidy, respectful of others and personal space/privacy. I work the usual Monday to Friday routine as an IT professional in Prahran so ideally looking for a place around this area... I love Chapel St. Also looking for a modern two bedroom two bathroom ideally with a car park or on street parking. Flexible on when I can move but aiming for around the beginning of January. Feel free to drop me a message. Happy to answer any other questions and lets take it from there. Thanks for reading! Josh
Hi I'm a friendly, social and positive person who is respectful of people's space and my home. I love my job as a teacher and wind down after work either at the gym, by the beach or chilling at home. I'm really easy to live with and like to have a chat over a glass of wine or meal with my housemates now and then- love a good cheese platter ;-) On the weekends I love playing tennis, going to markets, enjoying the outdoors and catching up with friends and family. I'm into health and fitness and have a positive outlook on life and looking to live with people with similar values.
We are an open-minded, well travelled easy going couple, both currently working full time in Melbourne until we head off to Nepal early next March. Anni is 20 years old originally from Florida, she is currently working full time in a cafe in Balaclava. I, Massimo 22 am working as a travel agent for STA travel. We are both very mature, tidy, open minded and like to keep things nice and calm. We both enjoy travelling and cooking. Massimo is interested in design and Anni in yoga and health. We like to socialise but also like our own privacy. Looking for someone like minded to share a space with!
Hi I'm Luke. just accepted a job in Melbourne originally from Tassie. I love my sport footy, cricket, golf etc. Easy going and don't mind a quiet wine or beer and dinner. but will also respect if you want your own space. Other than that I have a cat she's one year old and fully house trained.
Hello, future prospective housemates! I appreciate there are so many listings at the moment so I thought I would start my advert off with being very clear about what house share I am looking for as I don't wish to waste anyones times during this busy process! I am looking for an awesome place to move in during January (no earlier than the 7th). I am looking for a house (not an apartment, sorry!) with 2-3 other people. Similar age and working professionals I am currently in Melbourne so am available for viewings in the meantime. I have a queen size bed that I will bring along with me. So I am looking for a room that would fit a queen bed comfortably (I also had a chest of drawers, bed side tables etc that I could bring along if there is space) - and would love a room where there is either a build in robe or freestanding wardrobe to hang up things). A bit about me: I have heaps of houseshare experience, am 31, work full time in allied health, am respectful, pay bills on time, am sociable. Looking for a 'home' environment where i get along with housemates and can sit down for great chats - but also love my space and will respect my fellow housemates' space as well. If this sounds like a good fit please get in contact!
Hi, I'm Zara, 34, I've lived in Mornington for the most part of the last few years, work in the city at the Department of Education, and study occasionally. Looking for a home within about 15km from the city, either north, east or south. I do come with a small outdoor-only dog, and a couple of veggie planter boxes, so am hoping to find somewhere with a yard/courtyard. The dog is a friendly 13yr old Pug x Jack Russell named Puggles, but generally referred to as 'The Bison' and looks like the love-child of Hairy Maclary and an Ewok. I may also come with a piano, but only if there is enough space. I like to cook yummy, healthy food, although have a massive weakness for S&V chips, am tidy, respectful, pretty quiet at home, like to have a giggle, etc.
Hey i'm Sam, I'm a Kiwi from Auckland and have just moved to Melbourne to live. I work as an Architect and am excited to explore and add to this incredible city. Would like to join a social flat of good people who are getting amongst it. I packed my possessions up into two suitcases and a box for my push bike and jumped the ditch. I am an easy going guy and have been flatting in Auckland for the past 6yrs with some great people who have become friends. I like to shoot hoops, kick a ball around, have drinks and go to bars/gigs with friends. I also like to garden a bit and do home projects/build stuff. Love music (missing my record collection) and also a good tv series like The Wire for example. Very tidy guy who likes to cook (Vegetarian) and is very clean and tidy. Looking for a room for the start of 2018 so I don't have to sleep on my sister's couch.
Hi everyone! I'm Vin and I'm a postgrad student in Monash Uni. Been living in Melbourne for quite a long time now. I'm 23 y.o, I love automotive, fashion, and cats (cat lady right here). I'm a very social person who enjoys little talks and good laughs and all that. I'm super chill most of the times so, really, you'd find me really enjoyable and easy to live with. I cook sometimes, I love reading books (this course I'm doing requires me to read, a lot), I don't smoke, I'm cool but very respectful, I embrace the concept of personal space, I love doing roadtrips, I love photography (I could take some instagrammable pictures for you), and all those fun stuffs. Shoot me a msg if you find this interesting!
Hey guys, I've been in Melbourne for 18 months now and am looking for a place to live. Am originally from Albury/Wodonga and moved down for work. I'm a health professional who works shift work, so am looking for someone/people who are respectful of this. I'm big on family and friends and would ideally like to find housemates who like to live like a little family. Enjoy cooking meals together, having a drink, chilling and having fun together. But am also aware of personal space/time. I like to keep my place clean and tidy, so don't mind doing the clean up (don't think we need a chore timetable). I'm looking for a room big enough to fit a queen sized bed, bedside tables and tallboy. Also hoping for BIR. I have a car so need either off road or om road parking. If you think I might be a good match to join your household or want to know a little more about me, then send me a message. Cheers
I was born in Sydney but I was raised in Mexico City and decided to move to Melbourne a month ago. I am a PR Account Manager who enjoys having a beer/cocktail and watch Netflix on weekends. I am very clean and tidy, so a roomate (in case it is a shared house/flat) with those characteristics would be great. I love my personal space so I'm very respectful with others, but I also like having a nice conversation and going out once in a while.
Hi! I'm a recent university graduate from Chicago, IL, looking for a private or shared room close to the CBD in Melbourne. I'll be traveling with a working holiday visa, likely working part time as an intern and bartender. I'll be traveling without any furniture and am hoping to find a partial or fully furnished room. A little bit about me: I'm 22 years old, born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I went to Loyola University Chicago and studied abroad in Paris for six months. In school, I was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and volunteered at a community outreach center and an adult ESL tutoring center. I'm laid back, outgoing, funny, smart, and kind. I'm open-minded and tolerant, and enjoy a night out as much as I do a night binging netflix on the couch. I tend to be a homebody, but have traveled quite a bit, and am generally open to trying new things. Here are a few of my favorite things: a wide range of music taste (father john misty, SZA, frank ocean, alex g., and even an occasional taylor swift), watching sports in bars, true crime shows/books/podcasts are a guilty pleasure, anything on HBO, hiking, exploring new neighborhoods, writing, drinking belgian wheat beers, wasting a sunday in bed, shopping beyond means and thrifting, binging summer heights high, museum strolling, dark humor board games, craft cocktails, audiobooks, mint chocolate chip ice cream. Living wise, I appreciate clean and reasonably neat common areas, and am happy to do chores without being asked. I am known to keep a clean but messy room, I find order in some chaos (clothes on the floor, but clean sheets sort of deal.) I'm a writer by trade and enjoy time by myself to relax and recharge. I'm looking forward to getting to know roommates, but won't rely on them for social interaction. I'm okay with hosting parties from time to time, while also appreciating quiet weekends. I'm looking for normal, socially active, fun, clean, and respectful roommates of any background. I'm hoping to find students, other post-grads, or young professionals to live with. I'm exceptionally normal, reliable, easy going, and fun. Let me know if this sounds like you!
Jesper works an a plumber back home, and Sandra is a physiotherapist. We´re both 26, easygoing and positive. We like to spend time at the gym and having a healthy lifestyle. But also enjoy a few drinks sometimes, go to restaurants or having dinner together. We´re no ”partypoopers”. For now we are focusing on living here, simply embrace Melbourne.
