I am a full time Arts/Law student, from Melbourne. Considerate and easy going. I enjoy getting in the kitchen, and being creative:) I enjoy being social and partying but also love my time out to chill and read a good book.
Hi there, I'm moving to Melbourne the 22nd of July. I've a Working Holiday Visa. I'm planing to stay in Melbourne for 5/6 months and then travel around Australia. I'm looking for a private room close to the city. About me, I am friendly, tidy and respectful. It's not the first time I share a flat.
I'm a civil engineer born and bred in WA but I've spent the last 9 months living and working in Shepparton. I’m heading back to Melbourne to work in head office on from Monday the 14th of August so I’m looking for somewhere permanent to call home. I'm 29 years old, been working as an engineer doing FIFO construction for 6 years and been living in share houses for 7 years (with guys/girls and dogs). I'm well accustomed to the usual housemate business (paying bills, keeping the place clean, keeping the noise down etc). My job has long hours so no risk of me waking the house up at 2am on a Wednesday morning. That said, do enjoy a beer and a chat after a day’s work but more than happy to give people their own space if that’s their thing. Music is my big time/money sink. Love going to shows/festivals and watching bands play live (usual poison is rock/metal). Other than that, like gaming and surfing (useless in the water, but love it), chilling with people, going to dinner, all the usual good stuff. I’ve chasing a place that is already kitted out (only moved over with 2 suitcases), but I can kit out a room as required. If that all sounds promising, send me a message and we can go from there cheers
19 yr old Student from Perth, WA looking to move interstate currently renting in Perth so understand roles and responsibilities of living with others, love to chat and get to know people, clean and quiet, love to explore and read. Don't mind cooking or having a chat over some bevvys, excited to see what the future holds. needing accom for 3 months or more, won't be in city until 22nd of july Studying early childhood teaching at Curtin Uni, and and animal lover! Not looking for a room share, private room only
I've been in Melbourne 4 months now and am looking for a place to call home. I am currently studying full time, and work most days i'm not at uni. Tidy, clean, quiet - but enjoy socializing.
Hi! I am Archit. I am 26 years old (male, single) and I've just moved from Sydney to Melbourne. I am a well travelled, full time working professional and looking for a place in or near St Kilda. I am clean, polite, respectful and easy going. My requirements - Private room with an independent bathroom.
Hi there, I'm looking for a nice share accomodation with a nice housemate (just one) I have my own furniture that will like to take with me, but I could get ride of some stuff if need be. I'm also open to team-up to look for a place together. I work full time in the cbd and studying part time and also trying to get back on my fitness sooo I'm usually pretty busy. I'm very easy going and like to be organised and tidy (not a clean freak - just tidy :)
Easy going and relaxed person, prefer to keep social activities outside the house. Hard worker with potentially future study. clean and organised. Happy to chat over a couple drink but also respect and like private personal time. Ideally looking for room with private bathroom and maximum 3 bedroom apartment. All female house mates preferred.
Hi future houseshare, I run my own space clearing declutter business so I am very respectful of spaces and keeping them tidy. I have travelled with my work all over the world and have stayed in many airbnbs, holiday rentals, hotels as well as private homes. My friends call me the bed whisperer :) I like to use my home base as a chill zone and focus on my business. I will usually go out to see a movie or hang with friends, I don't drink or smoke or party I did all of that in my younger years. I love one to one conversations and not into small talk, in fact I like to keep to myself mostly. Not in an weird way locked in my room, more about meditating and working, so I like to be free of distractions. I love to cook and love watching the odd rubbish tv show occasionally. I have an easy light personality so not into drama or heavy negative energies. Spontaneous dancing may occur. I practice Qigong and Kundalini Yoga and will finish my Lomi Lomi Massage Training at the end of this year in Hawaii. I love to laugh and believe everyone deserves to be respected and listened to. Because my business is about CLARITY, I like to discuss and clarify what is expected in the domestic running of the house, so that there is no room for confusion. It's also important to be aware of boundaries. Really look forward to finding a space that feels like "home" .... and chatting with you soon Thanks Eirena ( aka ell ) PS Some things that are important on my list. -NBN Internet is very necessary for my work -I run my own business, so my hours vary, so when you ask full time and mean the conventional 9 t0 5- that's not me. -I really would like a place with a bath tub - Love love love gardens, so prefer a house to an apartment
I'm a 24 year old Male from New Zealand. I have just moved to Melbourne for a year. I am a tidy guy, quite and respectful. I clean and garden when I procrastinate. So leave your room door open if you need a clean lol. No I respect others space, but would be great to get to know you and if we get on you could show me around the city. 😋 Thanks
Hi there, I'm a single social girl looking to move into the city and make some new friends. I'm looking for a social house of three or more people. I'm currently looking for somewhere for between 3 and 6 months and would prefer not to sign a lease. I like to keep clean and tidy, and am happy to do my share of the housework. I work full time in HR. During the week I enjoy a Netflix binge and a glass of wine, but like to get out and about on the weekends. I spend most of my spare time going out for dinner/drinks/dancing with friends, live music, outdoorsy anything and cooking (I make the best sausage rolls ever and am happy to share). If there's anything else you want to know just ask :)
Hello to each and every-one of you, who is taking the time to read my bio. I am gonna tell you, as it is; I am a great cook (but I am not a foodie, no way). I mean what is a, "foodie"?? The latest, "Trendy" word of the hour? Get out of here. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy heading into town, meeting up with friends, museums, movies, parks or just hang back at home and read a good book. I am outgoing, but on the flip side, hanging about home with any potential housemate/s, provided they wish to is just as chill. I love to spend time with friends, just as much; I enjoy forming/making new friendships. I am a very approachable, friendly individual and I am a great listener and I give as well as I get. I am well read, and proud of my educational/work achievements. I had the pleasure of Studying: Engineering and Law. My Engineering major was in Automotive/Aerospace. This allowed me, to Work and Befriend some of the brightest of people in the, Australian Engineering industry. Other things about me; well my Father is from Austria, whilst my Mother is from Turkey. The rest is for another day. Now to my point; "So Just Chill", cause I am, I am as cool as a cucumber, and do not sweat the small stuff (well, I try not to); What For? Anyways, to those who are reading my intro, I believe I’ve bored you plenty enough, or maybe not. Nonetheless, I now call an end to my intro, wishing all who read or do not; a Remarkable, Blissful, Happy, Healthy, Prosperous, Joyful, Imaginative, Momentous Life. I honestly hope you find what you are looking for in life, the thing that makes you "HAPPY", as well as those around you (your happiness, should not be as a result of someone else demise). Thank you in advance, for taking the time to read, take care and be well. Kindest of regards, Ken.
What's up People I'm Marco, I'm looking for a shared house and nice people to live with. About me I can tell you that I love to cook a lot and ride my bike everywhere, listen to music and play it, one passion I have is to talk about physics/universe and psicology/spirituality aaaand I work in the hospitality industry, obviously I sound like a very normal person...but I'm not hahaha!! I love to travel and I can offer free language lessons in Italian, Spanish and a little bit of Portuguese and French. I play the drum but don't worry never too late or too early and I play it good ;) I'm very respectful of housemates spaces and I'm clean, I've got a lot of experience sharing houses around the world. I'm very keen as well to team up with anybody, hopefully before the 2nd of August, which is when I'll leave the house where I'm living now.
Hello! My name is Shayna (aka Shay) from the US. I am a down to earth girl looking to apply for a working holiday visa in Australia! I recently returned from a backpacking trip around Southeast Asia and caught the travel bug (luckily that was the only major thing). Some of my hobbies include drawing/painting, playing guitar/uke/piano and working out (yoga/running). I love meeting new people and going out to explore. Would be willing to share my chocolate stash and a few glasses of wine (plus living expenses). Not sure exactly what I will be doing for work but I can support myself. Hoping to live in a furnished place with young professionals/ other backpackers to socialize with!
My name is Berker, I am studying Cert lll Electrical and Electronics at Holmesglen TAFE full time. I am from Turkey. I would like to meet new people and be a friend. I am very clean and friendly. I am so fun and easygoing person. I have my car ( maybe big adventure like travelling) :)
I'm a tidy and clean person to live with. Originally from the Gold Coast, i've been in Melbourne for just over a year now. When i'm not at work i'm usually binge-watching a TV series or at the gym. I'd like to make some new friends and socialize but also enjoy our downtime :)
Hello, I am a very clean, tidy, respectful housemate. Very keen to make new friends and socialise but also like my down time, netflix and snacks! I enjoy exploring Melbourne (from NZ) and going out for brunch/dinner often! Not looking for a party house, somewhere to call home with likeminded and similar aged people :)
24 year old female, recently graduated from Curtin University in Perth with a Bachelor of Mass Communications wanting to move over to Melbourne ASAP (literally can get on a plane tomorrow) to pursue my career in this industry! Have worked in retail for over ten years so very reliable when it comes to rent and bills etc. Extremely respectful, tidy, but also very friendly and love to socialise over a drink or two :)
I am a grad student at Melb Uni, and my partner is a grad student at Monash. We are looking for a place for our 2 years in Melbourne (may extend more).
My name is Melina. I'm 27, friendly, clean, non smoker. I work full time Graphic Designer/Illustrator. Looking for a ROOM to rent for 6 +months but If I love a place I'll be happy to keep it long term. LARGE ROOM SIZE: Must be around 3x4 metres or larger. Currently living in Malvern East. I was renting while living in Sydney and loved the experience, I like socialising and also my own quiet time. I'm looking for a shared place, no more then 3 people. Preferably creative/friendly individuals who also work full time. I love pets, but don't have my own.It would be nice to find a house that feels like a home, no party house, but I'd be more than happy to have the occasional drink/socialise with the housemates on the weekend. I am flexible with the rent price. Move in date: Early September.
I'm easy going and can talk about anything. I don't take myself too seriously though value doing a good job of things and being reasonable and respectful. I'm clean and tidy and don't leave a foot print (so to speak). I'm most often away with work and at the gym and attending other social events. I'm very independent and also mindful of other people's space. I also have a robust sense of humour which can be important for creating good vibes :) BTW I'm also quite flexible with the move date (any weekend or week day until 5/8) and length of stay. I can potentially stay much longer than 6 months - just thought that might be a good length of time to start on. I'm also very pet friendly in case you have pets.
Hey future housemates! I'm looking for a place in CBD and inner eastern/southern suburbs. I have a rental history of 6 years in shared accomodation, so I have prior experience living with all kinds of people. I definitely appreciate cleanliness, mindfullness and respectfulness. As I am mindful of others, I clean up after myself and very attentive to social queues. I expect the same from my housemates. I'm a second year Law/Criminology Major at The University of Melbourne, and also studying Architecture and Interior Design part-time as well. I love what I do and I like to surround myself in positivity. Idealistically, I'd like to live in a home environment with people of my age demographics (18 - 28) that are capable of cleaning up after themselves, mature and pragmatic when it comes to monthly bills or maintenance, and is respectful of others possessions, privacy, personal lives, affiliations ect. I get along with positively charged people who are socialites and loves to have a beverage and can take a lighthearted roasting every now and then. My schedule is filled with study commitments on weekdays, and recreational activities generally on weekends/and or afternoons. I love my alone time and as I've mentioned above, privacy is important to me! I'm very upfront and likes to work on resolutions quickly. I would expect the same from my housemates to ensure that we don't have petty issues. Although there are lots of activities/topics that interests me, the following are key interests: Fashion & Other Creative Pursuits, Travelling, Spirituality, Volleyball, Yoga, Philanthropy, Music, Clubbing & Social Activities, Hiking and Global Advancements (Being a good global citizen!) Cooperative, deadline orientated and stable; it would be fantastic if we have similar standards to what a healthy living situation should be. I am quite independent, but wouldn't mind having a relaxed, homely and fun house relationship as well. I want to be able to laugh at each other's horrendous jokes and puns, and be great pals. If you are keen to adopt me as the newest member of the family, then please don't hesitate to message/text or call me! You are more than welcome to leave a voicemail if I don't answer in the time of your calls, and I'd be more than happy to answer any further questions or queries that you might have through the messaging system on here. Kind Regards, Chee.
