Hi I am a 32yo professional, working full time in Advertising & Media in South Melbourne and looking for a house/flat share in South Yarra area. I am a happy-go-lucky person, enjoy cooking, music, hiking, squash, swim, gym and reading. I am a clean, tidy, and respect people's privacy and space. I work full time and during the week and would usually be home around 8pm after gym and/or catching up with friends. I enjoy making the most out of my time and exploring outdoor spaces and going to events and would hike around national parks on weekends or head to the beach. I hail from London but live permanently in Oz now. Thanks Faysal
I'm looking for a room or to start up a share house with people. I'm Steve and I work in FMCG brand management. I recently moved to Melbourne to take the role. I'm easy going and generally like to have a chat and a drink/meal with flatmates, but I also know when people need their own space. I keep fairly active and ride to work most days. I'm an amateur photographer, a bit of a foodie and generally enjoy doing anything in a social environment. I'm a tidy flatmate and definitely do my fair share of the housework. I'm looking for flatmates with a similar mind set. Easy going, like to socialise and are working professionals. The room needs to be unfurnished (I have all my own stuff). Ideally I'd like to stay around the $250/week mark, but can go up to $300 for the right place. I'm also happy to consider a longer than 6 months. Hit me up if you want to know more or are interested in starting a share house/have a room.
We're from Newcastle in England...both been travelling around Australia/Bali for the past few months and are now looking for somewhere to live in the Melbourne area! We have working holiday visas so looking for two bedrooms for around 6 months, we're happy to pay around $200 each for rent. We're 23/24, love socialising, drinking and having fun, will also tidy up after ourselves so looking to live with people with similar interests. Currently in a hostel so hoping to move as soon as possible! If anyone has two rooms available and would like to live with us then please let me know!
I am from Northeast of India, so I am a little different from the ones you have met until now. Recently joined as 1st yr research student at Melbourne Uni, dept of Architecture, Construction and Planning, and totally new to Australia. I love to cook and clean, and basically do my own thing. I like watching tv series and listening to music, which I sometimes sing along, regardless of the time or place, . Not paticularly a party girl, but I like to try new foods and drinks in different places from time to time.
We are Dirk and Tom, we are both 20 years old on a Working Holiday. Dirk is from the Netherlands and Tom is from England. At the moment we are working full time in a Cafe on a University Campus. We are tidy, clean, social and friendly blokes. You can expect us to be non party and chilled out. We plan to stay till the end of June because Tom plans to travel the rest of the east coast and Dirk will go to India. We are looking for a place ASAP so if you have anything, then drop a message or give us a call. Thanks.
Max - 22 years old working full time at a bank in West End, have just moved to Bris from Melbourne (but previously lived in brisbane), normally busy during the week with work, gym etc Ideally looking for an apartment in west end/south bank/newstead/bowen hills/hamilton but can be pretty flexible Can move asap
My girlfriend and I are looking for a place together. I'm 23, from Scotland, and I work in finance. She's 20, from America, and she works as a pilates instructor. We are quiet, clean, and very respectful. We both love to cook and I make the best curry. I work full time so I generally am only home at nights. She works a couple hours a day so she would be home more often. We look forward to meeting you! :)
I'm a 29 year old American guy that has just finished backpacking in Asia for a year and now I'm settling in Melbourne for awhile. I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months, potentially longer. I worked in IT for 4 years in Chicago but I'm currently in search of cafe work (hopefully day hours). I'm laid back, considerate, keep things clean and have been told that I'm a very easy person to live with. I enjoy running, biking, and cooking. I'm not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a few drinks after work and the occasional night out. Since I'm new to the city it would be great to become friends with my future flatmates but it's not a must.
Have Law Degree, doing post grad and a menial job in the meantime - like most Law graduates haha. NSW Law Degree so don't bother asking me for advice, not applicable in Vic . (yet the HECS debt will follow me anywhere!)Moved from Sydney. Like to think Im funny (dont you just brace yourself when someone says that). Only smoke when I'm stressed and only outside. Fairly flexible about moving date. Work on call 24/7. Tidy, friendly...hmmm, what else...love Gogglebox - wish I was on it lol
Hi, my name is Ania. At the moment I work almost full time as a graphic designer. I have a small on-line business and I just finished fitness certificate. I'm looking for somewhere quiet, clean, preferably with my own bathroom. During the week I'm up early to go to the gym or yoga. I enjoy quite nights during the week and on weekends I'm in and out catching up with family and friends. Party life is pass me :-) but I'm very social and I enjoy going out to bars or a glass of red and a good conversation.
I am a English nurse a non smoker who is very clean, tidy and respectful. I work hard and enjoy my days off. I am a mature professional but young at hard and easy going and always up for laugh. I am new to Melbourne and not 100% sure of the areas yet but wanting to share with 1 other non smoker somewhere nice near a beach and not to far away from the City. Ideally i would like a house with a pool and bbq area (not an apartment) but it is not essential.
I'm Haley. Currently I am working full time as a Personal Assistant. I'm 23 years old and I'm looking for a place to call home. I work from 8-6 everyday and have weekends off. On my weekends I try and hang out outdoors. I will either be exercising, at the markets, cooking, catching up with girlfriends or just relaxing at home. I also have family and friends in Bendigo as I am originally from there so I travel home quite a bit. I am relatively quiet, very easy going, relaxed, respectful and clean. Living in a clean and tidy house is really important to me so I would like to live with someone who has the same mindset, please do not contact me if you cannot put your dishes away and leave your stuff lying around the house. I am looking for a flatmate that I can become friends with and share the occasional dinner/brunch and a laugh, but also someone that likes their own space and independance. At this stage I am looking for a place for about 6 months but if I can find a place that feels like home I will stay for longer if possible.

I'm looking at starting up my own place in the Hawthorn/Richmond/Camberwell area that has easy access to the Monash freeway. Looking to move around the 20th April. Hi all, I have moved to Melbourne and am looking for a share house with a private room, price range between $150-$200pw have put three Months but can be more about me: I am outgoing and social, but also respect other people privacy and space, as these are things that i value and need. I have just completed my HSC and have come to Melbourne for my full time job that I am currently working (trainee telecommunications technician) so I am working full time during the week plus sometimes on the weekends so I may not be home a lot of the time snd can pay on time every weeks rent. Interests: i am interested in music, film, I also enjoy bike riding and TV shows. Me: I am clean and tidy, great dishwasher and ready to help around the house with any chores needed. Location: I am looking for a place preferably Collingwood, Fitzroy, Richmond East Melbourne or anywhere near these areas. If I sound like I would make a good addition to a house please feel free to send me a message or give me a call on: Cheers Eli
I am a laid back, down to earth, happy and sociable individual. I love sharing meals with friends (I can cook!), binge watching new Netflix series (let's find a series to watch together!), exploring new bars/restaurants/cafes, hanging out with friends, doing yoga, drawing, hitting the beach, doing cultural things like checking out art exhibitions, and am always up for an adventure. I would love to live in a house that is also a home, and to hang out with my fellow housemate(s), but also respect other people's space and alone time! I am also fully able to clean and do household chores - thought that was worth mentioning too! I'm 23 and I am here from England! I've just started a full time job in a branding agency in the CBD and finding a house is next on my 'settle-down-in-Melbourne' list!
I'm super chilled and super easy going but do enjoy my privacy so am looking for a crib to share with 1 other person (preferably male) where we can share space but still have our own private space. I love movies I love music so am cool with a get together and drink here and there so long as we respect each other! I'm looking for someone clean and tidy and has their shit together. If you can't look after yourself please don't even bother contacting me. I'm a professional hip hop and belly dancer currently studying full time dance and uber driver in the mornings and evenings so will hardly be home. I have 5 pets, 2 Maltese dogs and 3 old cats so my roomie has to be ridiculously pet friendly first and foremost. Looking to split 50/50 for a beautiful 3+ bedroom & 2+ bathroom home in the above mentioned suburbs. Should be able to find something for $700 a week (so 350 each) :)
Sean and I are from England. We are in Australia on a 1 yr holiday working/visa and will be spending 6 months, at least, working/living in Melbourne. Sean is a barista and I am a baker of cakes 👨🏻👩🏾🍳☕️🍰🍩 Our budget is $300-400 pw and we're looking to move as soon as possible! We are an easy going couple and our main interests include; food, music, cartoons, cake (Karishma), video games (Sean) and more food. We like our home to be a place to chill (not a party house) and to socialise over a beer or three with our pals at pubs 🍻 We respect our flatmates space and are clean/tidy.
Hey my name's joe, I work full time in Parkville, enjoy gigging and hanging out with mates. I'm looking for a share house, a social house would suit me pretty well but doesn't have to be raging every night. If you're interested hit me up.
We are a British couple looking for accommodation in Melbourne as our first stop in our Australian adventure. We've secured work in Melbourne and are looking for 2 months accommodation from the 3rd April. We've been travelling south east Asia for the last 4 months so have lots of stories and tales to share! We've bot lived in shared/student accommodation before, and are a chilled, laid back couple who enjoy the outdoors and seeing new things.
27YO professional, work in the CBD on a rotating roster (daytime hours). Like sport, fitness, travel, weekend beers etc. Happy doing my own thing (and keep pretty quiet during the week) but certainly hoping to find like-minded housemates. Occasional banter, beers, meals etc would be great. Seeking inner city private room, ideally with own bathroom but not essential. Looking for a place from mid-late April (potentially earlier if I find the right place). Max rent $300/week. Please get in touch if you think I might be a good fit.
My name is Danielle. I am a professional working in the marketing industry. Looking for a cute place to call home, with an easy going housemate and hopefully an animal that I can give copious amounts of affection to.
Hey there! Recently my priorities have started revolving around cooking, music and writing. Recently a friend of mine said I'm a guy who is always up for anything so I can be a lot of fun. I love to relax and enjoy the comforts of a home as well.
I don't build houses, I build homes... now I just need my own. 23 years old, moving Down from Sydney for work. I'm a builder with a large construction company. Keen on somewhere with good vibes.
Hi I'm Alan. I relocated from Perth in early February, I am looking for a place from April 1st to move into. I work for a major bank and I'm based in the CBD. I enjoy an active lifestyle swimming, gym, cycling and when winter is here, downhill skiing. I like to cook, read, a glass of wine, relax and to catch up with friends. I'm looking for a place until the end of the year.
I am a good cook with a sense of humour but not about my cooking! :PPP ===>check out my animations on youtube if you follow my Facebook link :D I am a bit of a coding geek but I really just want to write another book and be happy. I still have not grown up.
I'm Kate. I'm 31, but can flawlessly pass for 28 or 35 depending on your flatmate maturity preference. I kill it at pool (when playing in the sweet spot between 2 and 3 drinks). I have a broad, yet shallow interest in sports, politics, HBO and early 90s hip hop. I can talk for hours about music, travel and the way that nearly every single happening in life can be correlated with a moment from the Simpsons. I've worked in sports sponsorship for a number of years, and about to embark on a career in corporate social responsibility while studying a post grad. I love to cook healthy meals for the week on Sunday, ban a cafe that doesn't do all-day brekkie, possibly the most diplomatic person you've ever met and give well-timed, genuine compliments. I sign up to the odd fun run and like health and fitness, like getting outdoors and need occasional quiet me-time. But I also like whiskey and firmly believe the best times happen when you've planned to have a quiet night in to call your Nan but unexpectedly end up catching a mini bus with Billy Brownless in downtown Geelong singing classic rock anthems into a brown paper-bagged liqueur bottle (actually happened). I moved to Melbourne on the 19th of March and staying with mates until I find somewhere, hopefully quickly. And sorry, I'm from Newcastle.
Irish couple who are very neat and tidy and respect people's privacy. Non smokers. Love dogs, if you have any that's great. Both working full time. Looking for a room for our last few weeks in Melbourne before we leave to travel home.
Hey I'm Liz, a 29 year old Exercise Physiologist, Tutor and Personal Trainer from the UK. I'm coming over to Oz on a working visa hoping to find sponsored work in Melbourne. I'm laid back, clean and tidy and like to be social. Happy to live with male/female housemates. Enjoy being out and about on my days off, walking, cycling, surfing, volleyball, yoga but also love lazy sofa days and a film or hanging out at a chilled bar.
I'm Tom. I'm almost 25 (quarter of a life...oh no, it's almost over!) and looking for a new place to call home with a nice, likeminded cohabiter. I work full time in Hawthorn East and am on the lookout for a place. Hawthorn, Malvern, Burnley, Camberwell, South Yarra or Toorak would be great for public transport reasons, but anywhere with a train line that connects to (and not too many stops from...) Richmond or the CBD would also be good. Ideally, I'd live within walking distance to to these train stops: Kooyong, Tooronga, Heyington, Burnely, or Camberwell (or 72 tram line). But again, any train stop on a line that connects to Richmond/CBD is equally great. You'll find me sipping tea of an evening and going for a bushwalk or some kind of adventure on the weekend. I'm a quiet but sociable guy. I'd like my new home to be one that is really comfortable, where I get along well with the people I live with and look forward to coming home after work, or relaxing one day on the weekend...for it to be more of a home rather than a transaction just paying rent (of course, it's very important to pay rent!). I enjoy a clean and positive environment with mutual respect. I'd love to chat if you think we'd make great flatmates :) Tom
Hi, my name is Sotara. I am a Registered Nurse who is trustworthy, down to earth and reliable. I have no pets (I do love animals), single (unfortunately), and not much of a party person but don't mind having a few drinks and a bit of fun on non-working days. I like to have a good laugh but respect people's space and privacy. I treat people how I'd like to be treated. I would like to move into a room/home with a family/friendly vibe. I am looking at moving in around the 16th of April for a minimum time of 3 months into a comfortable place where I can call home. Please contact me if you think I fit your description. Any other questions just ask!

I have lived in Melbourne before and loved the city and am fortunately getting the chance to relocate back for work, having lived in Brisbane for the past few years. I am clean and respectful and believe in courteous behaviour towards neighbours and co-housemates. -- Ideally would love a one bedroom to myself if anyone is looking to sublet. A car space would be ideal but no a necessity.
Hey! We're a young couple who loves to play video games, go out and be social. We're clean, enjoy cooking and love animals (but have none of our own). I'm working casually and will be returning to uni in a few months, so we are looking for a place where we can hang out during the day, binge watch some netflix or make some cookies. We don't mind a bit of housemate interaction but respect privacy of others. Bonus points for a dishwasher, heating and aircon. We come with our own bedroom furniture so we're flexible about furnishing. Slide into our dms ;)
Hey folks, I'm from Germany, easy going and I love netflix, reading and food but also travel, see new things, meet new people and go out. I love dancing to techno music, and I adore people who can play an instrument. Choose me as your future flatmate because I have a lot of stories to tell and I'm always happy to share them with a glass of wine on a balcony.
I'm Victor, I'm from Colombia and I came here to study English, I'm very clean, tidy and respectful. I'm easy going, I'm living in Preston right now but I want to move because it's kind of far from the city, I'm looking for a place nearer CBD. I have experience in sharing room and I have never had a problem before. I enjoy studying, reading, and walking around. I enjoy sharing with other people but also my own privacy. I'm going to be a good roommate
Hello, potential future housemates! :) I'm Helena, a relaxed, employed 23 year old, who is also studying commerce. I like to keep things organised and clean and im very much an independent person, i like going out and being around people, but im definitely down for a quiet night in more often then not. My name is Anita, Indonesian, 23 yo. I'm a fresh graduate who is looking for a room because my flat-mate is leaving Australia for good. I'm a nice, clean and tidy girl. Totally not a party kind but definitely up for some beer, wine and liquor. I love to meet new people. For weekend I choose movie, coffee, brunch and travel.
I consider myself a really easy going and friendly person, who loves to spend time with friends, go to markets, see plays, art, movies and go exploring in the area for delicious food. I'm also a big fan of yoga, bike riding and dancing around the house. I work 30-35 hours a week at a gelato store called Messina, so if you love gelato, i'm always in great supply! I'm also vegetarian but am not bothered if others cook meat in the house. Ideally, i'm after a place with lovely people who I can have a great chat to and good laugh with. I love my own space but i'm always open to have a chat, hang out and come together to make dinner together. I'm clean and tidy but am generally just happy to go with the flow of the house. :~)

I currently live with 13 other people in a cooperative house where we all share in the cooking, cleaning, and shopping, so I'm pretty organized and tidy. I'm looking forward to hearing from You! Cheers, Matthias
