I'm small, sassy and sparkly (that's what my dating profile says, anyway). I work 4 days a week in a government contact centre while completing a Master in Publishing and Communications. I love books! Talk books to me. I have a huge collection that I love to share around with friends and I love anything book-related. I practise yoga at home most days. I've also recently got into running and try to do semi-regular races, with my first 10k coming up in December. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and I really value my health and fitness in general :) I also love dogs (especially greyhounds), Netflix, dumplings and red wine. I'm looking for a cosy home with a decent-sized bedroom so I can practise yoga in the mornings. I work in the city and study in Parkville so being central is important to me - I don't have a car so want to be close to a train station ideally. I'm pretty busy and don't spend all that much time at home but when I do I'll probably be in my room or chilling on the couch with a book/Netflix, cooking up something tasty or having a couple of glasses of wine with a friend. I like my home to be a relaxing space. I love to get dressed up, go out and have a crazy time but I don't like to bring the party home with me, so I'm not looking for a party house. I also value my alone time a whole lot and personal space is important to me. I've lived in sharehouses all my adult life so I know the drill. I'm tidy and quite clean, especially if there's some kind of roster in place. I like a clean kitchen and neat communal spaces. I've lived in my current place for 3+ years and I love it but I'm struggling to afford it at the moment so looking for something quite a bit cheaper. Hit me up if you think I'd work for your home!
Hey, My name is Tom, I'm 27 and from the UK. I work in Melbourne as a renewable energy engineer. I’m looking for a house about 30min commute from the CBD. Ideally in St Kilda, Prahran, Collingwood, Fitzroy or somewhere else cool nearish the sea and CBD. But open to other areas like Richmond, and affordable places in the CBD. I'll be in Melbourne for the foreseable future and have a valid visa so can do long term for sure :). I love to jog, cycle and hoping to try and get out surfing a bit more (I don’t own a car but will probably rent from time to time – you’re welcome to join!). Also planning to do some exploring in the area like great ocean road and Grampians etc, and some hikes too. Otherwise, I enjoy Netflix, cooking, trying to get more into reading. I’d like to move into a home rather than a house, with people who are up for hanging out now and now. I’ve got my own stuff going on and pretty busy in the week, but beers on the odd Friday or Saturday are always good! Cheers, Tom
Hi! I'm currently in my first year studying a bachelor of business at CQU in Queensland. I'm looking to move to Melbourne around the 15th - 20th of October and will then be working part-time. Im a neat and tidy person with a fairly vibrant and extremely active persona. I love my health and fitness so you will probably find that I'm never at home and probably either at the gym or running. Because of this active lifestyle I'm naturally into nutritious foods so I'm more than happy to be your kitchen slave every now and then :) I have played guitar for the past 10 years off and on mostly playing pop songs but i enjoy pretty much all music. I hope that this is what someone is looking for and im keen to meet some new people! Feel free to contact me for anymore questions.
I have a time limit to move out of home as my parents mental health is unstable. Im looking for somewhere long-term, or at least until i can work full time and provide history to get private rental. I study short courses every week, I am continuing V.C.E. to go to uni and I work part time. I am reliable, quiet, easy going, friendly, and love to relax with friends after a hard-working day. I keep my circle small so you don’t have to worry about disturbances e.g. parties, people walking in and out, loud people.. -420 friendly would be great
We are relocating from Brisbane late October/early November and are looking for somewhere with a fun friendly vibe. We both work, Lachlan in sport and Erica as a paramedic and a move to Melbourne is all about exploring new opportunities and trying something different. We're both fairly active and between sport and work are both pretty busy. Saying that we are looking for somewhere that's open and welcoming and we can enjoy the company of housemates. Enjoy coming home to a clean house and pretty flexible in terms of unfurnished or furnished place. Planning to be in Melbourne from the start of November. Any questions please just ask we would love to hear from you.
Chilled, drama-free, won't bother you a lot and expecting same back. Cyber security professional working in the CBD 5/2 and occasionally from home one or two days per week. Had traveled plenty of countries and as a result have plenty of crazy stories to share. Early bird and health / fitness freak recently but will definitely join a party or two. (Good at mixing cocktails ;) In free time enjoy sports, walks, meditation and reading
I am uncomplicated, have a great sense of humour and am a pretty good listener. Love to read, have some tea with my flatmates and go to galleries or the nature. Down to earth. I am a master custom tailor from germany.
Hello! I'm Tommy - a Canadian that moved here to study medicine. I'll be starting work at a metro hospital in January and looking for a hip, new area to live and explore on my downtime! I'm pretty laid-back. Play ice hockey and music in my spare time. Always up to grab some drinks at a chill rooftop type spot, but equally content having a quiet night doing some study/reading at home. Also enjoy biking to the beach on a weekend, going to the gym or out for a run, sunday coffee/brunches, and a whole lot more. I don't smoke, but don't mind others doing so. I have no pets, but I love dogs (...and the occasional cat). Pretty tidy, but wouldn't say I'm type A. And that's about it!
Hi, I'm Sejal. Im 31, recently moved over to Melbourne having lived in Wellington, New Zealand my whole life. I'd prefer to live with someone who is tidy, clean and considerate of others. I love to cook, go to the gym, chat over a glass of wine or two but I'm also mindful of letting people have their space at the same time
Hey there, How’s going? This is Ariel. I’m looking for a place/long-term stay I can call home rather than just a place to crash. A place where there is someone that not only you feel comfortable enough to share the substantial amount of time/space with, but also hearty home-cooked meals and a glass of vino. Ok. A little intro about myself. I’m in my mid 30’s and professional full time working/studying female. I am a non smoker, honest, CLEAN and tidy, considerate and caring person. I enjoy Netflix-ing/hanging with my housemates as well as respectful quiet time. It would be awesome if there is a chance that you could kindly arrange a time for house inspection so that we can have a chat in person too. Looking forward to hearing from you. Have a lovely day. :)
Hi all, I'm looking to move out of my current place at the end of October. A little bit about me - I'm a 31 year old female with a full time job, Monday - Friday so generally out of the house between 8:30 - 6pm. The weekends tend to be quite busy for me as i'm usually catching up with friends or getting out of town. I enjoy cooking, a good glass of wine but also going out for dinner. Whenever I have downtime, I like to unwind with a movie or book.
Hi! Well I don't really know what to put here. I'm not much of a going out person, I usually keep to myself but I won't pass up any opportunities to make new friends. I'm pretty much always happy and I love going out for lunch and to the movies! My hobbies aren't very exciting I love to read and listen to music. Ive done a far bit of traveling and a lot of hostel stays so I'm well versed in general respect such as no loud noises late at night and early in the morning, cleaning up after myself and of course privacy. So a bit about my situation. I'm Currently living, studying and working in Queensland, however, I've applied to uni in Melbourne in hopes of being able to move to a big city for a fresh start (and of course to escape the heat and humidity!). So I will be moving down without a job, however, I have more then enough saved to survive without a job for a few months till I find one.
I'm new to Melbourne from England and I've come over to work as a nurse, so I'll be doing flexible full time working hours. I'm looking for a place very central with good transport links preferably close to Melbourne's hospitals for ease of access for work. I'm a friendly chilled out guy who's over to Australia solo so I'll be up for meeting new people, going out and exploring the city and seeing everything that Melbourne has to offer.
I am a 26 year old female British backpacker looking to settle in Melbourne after a travelling around for a year. I will be working full time, but love to spend my evenings and weekends socialising. I'm excited to explore Melbourne's food/drink scene, live music and sport events etc, I also love to get creative with art work, writing and reading. I love the outdoors and will probably try and pick up a gym class or two. I have lived in shared accommodation many times before. I really love living with housemates, and also enjoy having my own little space to go to. I'm really easy-going, always clean and tidy and looking forward to living with new friends :)
Hi my name is Olivia, was born in Scotland and raised in Australia. Have just moved out of a leased apartment in south Melbourne and now looking for a room of my own in a sharehouse or another lease. I am happy to get to know my housemates and at the same time respect one another's space. I work full time for a venue in south wharf, with Netflix and wine being a very important task at the end of a busy day. Am easy going and clean up after myself. Would love to be considered as your next housemate!
Hi, my name is Paula, I'm 26 and I recently arrived from Santiago, Chile. I am a easy going girl, who love to spend time outdoor, at a park, beach, meeting new places and people. Love to bike, photography and just relax. I like to go out for a occasionally drink, but I'm not like a party girl. I'm very tidy and respectful. I'm working in a Thai and Japanese Restaurant.
Hi there, This is a Spaniard, who has been living in Melbourne for four years, looking for a new place to call home. During the last two years, I am living in the CBD, however, I´m missing the inner suburbs of this beautiful city so, I have decided to enjoy the city just during work-time. The majority of my time is spent on work (marketing, consulting and eventually cocktails makers) and University (MBA & PM). In my free time, I love to keep me fit and socializing. At home, extremely clean and respectful. When I have time, I love to enjoy outdoors (unfortunately no too much time at the moment but summer is just coming up, excited!) More than happy sharing nice dinners or drinks with you all and, why of course, exchange some yummy food recipes Seeking for a friendly atmosphere and a nice place for living. Really easy-going person.
I’m a kiwi have been in Melbourne for 2 years now and love it! I work full time in a very busy Insurance industry, my week is very busy obviously with work and I also like to gym it most nights after! I am a chilled, laid back person. Enjoy socialising but also like my own space. Would ideally like to find a new place by end of October - beginning of November (if not earlier)
Hello. I work full time in the city at a restaurant, my shifts vary from week to week. I've been in shared houses for a while now. I'm a clean, tidy. A social person, enjoy a wine but also know how to give people space when needed. Also like my own space too. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. More than happy to answer. Ready to move in asap.
Hey there I’m born and raised in Melbourne, but have been living in China for almost 5 years, and currently making the transition back to living in Oz. I’m studying online as well as starting full time work soon. I’m quite a chill person during the week. I like to stay focused, keep active and cook (when there’s time) and I also value keeping a clean home. I love heading out to explore/have a few drinks on the weekends and being social in general.
