I am an allied health professional working standard Monday-Friday hours. I am looking for a place to live closer to work (Chermside) with a housemate of similar age. I am originally from Melbourne and have been in Brisbane for 2 years while studying my masters degree. I'm looking for a friendly and considerate housemate (prefer one housemate, but happy to consider more if the fit is right!) who likes to have a chat but keeps most of the socialising outside of home. Ideally looking for a place with off street parking but will consider without.
Hi! My name is Ellyn, I'm 26 years old and a full time worker (Monday - Friday). I am friendly, easy going and tidy. I like to be social but like my own space as well and respect the space of those around me. I am normally at home weeknights but get out and about on the weekends seeing family & friends etc. Looking for somewhere around the end of April, ideally close by to public transport for work and not too far from the City. If there are any questions please contact me anytime. Thanks - Ellyn
Hi! Currently living in the northern suburbs, but I'm keen to move closer to friends/work/civilisation. I'm working full time in the city, so looking for a home that is between Toombul and the city, and walking distance to the train. Ideally I will have a bathroom to myself, and would also be great it some of the rooms of the house/apartment/other has air con! Likes include: - Cooking - Eating - Binge-watching the latest tv shows Dislikes: - People who don't replace the toilet paper. I do actually have a social life - I promise! I play social netball, hang out with friends most weekends and generally like to balance out my laziness with fresh air. I like my home to be a comfy retreat (clean and calm) and looking to live with others who feel the same. It would be great to have housemates who friendly, though I'm not needy and happy to have time to myself. I have almost no furniture (bedroom furniture only), but can buy if necessary. Ideally looking for housemates who are non-smokers and no cats (dogs are fine). I don't drive so I don't need a car park, but I am looking for somewhere well connected to public transport. Want to know something else? Ask.
25 year old civil engineer. Looking to move closer to work at Deagon but still fairly close to the city. Enjoy playing sports and the occasional binge watch of a TV show
I'm 23. I work full time in IT in the city, so looking for somewhere close. Really easy going. The lease at my current place ends on the 6th of August so looking to move around then, Would prefer to live with cool people that want to hang out/do stuff!
I am an open-minded, polite, and well mannered individual. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer who is also managing a gym. It keeps me out of trouble and mindful of my health and fitness. When not in the gym for work or pleasure (pain?) I do play sport and head out for weekend hobbies. This is not to say I am not partial to a glass of red and the conversation/meal/film it is accompanied by. I am a people person and love meeting new people. Not looking for a hectic, late-night household as I need all the beauty sleep I can find. Preferably not smokers either. Couples and pets are most welcome. I you've any queries of me be sure to send me a message. Otherwise, let us get coffee and find a place. Until then I will leave you with this: 'Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.' - Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947).
Clean, respectful and easy going. note- 6 months is selected as a minimal time frame :)
I'm 19 and in my second year of studying a Business degree at QUT. I work two jobs - one in the City and the other in Chermside. I enjoy running, exploring around Brisbane/the Coast, going out a bit and being social, but also relaxing and having my own space when I have work or study to focus on. I’m very easy-going, friendly and considerate of other people's space and privacy. I'm tidy and clean up after myself, and would expect the same from the people I live with. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
Hey guys, We’re looking for a 4th member to turn this trio into a …quartet???? We’re all students (one soon to be graduating) and are looking at moving to a property in Wilston (a bus stop away from QUT Kelvin Grove) as our current lease is ending. 2 of us are Creatives and one is a Law/Business student. We all love to hang out together e.g. get food, go to gigs and festivals together and would love to find a housemate that loves doing what we do. We also enjoy down time (aka netflix binging) and personal space. If you’re a student this will be the perfect place for you. The max each person would be paying pw would be $160 :) If you think we’d get along send us a message and we’d love to meet you!
‼️LOOKING FOR SOMETHING AVAILABLE FOR JUNE!‼️ Hey my names Emma, I'm 20 and have lived by myself sinceI was 17 but as I'm home so little, I don't see the need for a place of my own and decided to move out into a share house or get a flat mate when my lease ends in June. I am clean and quiet, I work 5 days a week so I am out of the house from 8-5 everyday, and then at gym until 8 most nights. I go out maybe every few weekends but I am respectful and quiet I don't ask for much but I do like my space, I also love a good chat, but I cherish my alone time as you can tell I don't get much. I don't have many people over and if I would, it would be friend on the weekend and maybe a weeknight here and there, or a couple friends every now and then. But just because I like my alone time doesn't mean I'm not open to making a new friend and, I love to have a good laugh and hang out sometimes! I do have a cat named Cleo, she is really sweet but does what she likes mostly and that is being outside during the day, and coming in to eat and sleep at night lol. She's fully toilet trained, flea treated often and very beautifully natured. Don't be afraid to send me through a message if this interests you :)
My name is Danielle and I'm 24. Iv recently moved to Brisbane from Central Queensland for work. I work full time Monday to Friday at an Accoutant. Im very clean, tidy, well mannered and well presented. I am very easy going and like to keep to myself. Iam after a place with my own bathroom and require parking.
Changed my mind, not looking right now I am looking to settle in Brisbane for a while because this is where my much adored niece is based. I have a housetrained desexed cat, goes by the name of Pixie or hey you. The cat is unfortunately not other cat or dog friendly, she had some bad experiences when young and as a result does not play well with others. I how ever am well used to sharing, cleaning up after myself and paying my bills on time. I have some furniture, kitchen stuff and some electrics. Not a smoker, big drinker or death metal singer-along-with-at 2am -er. Looking for like minded non Trump supporters to make a home with. Any extra info I am happy to share, but feel that some actual human interaction i.e. ph or face to face, would be more illuminating. Thanks for your time :) P.S I am a hetero female who couldn't care less who or what floats your boat, provided adult consent is involved :)
Hi my name is Madi! I'm a Registered Nurse working at the RBWH and wanting to live closer to work. I generally work most weekends but my shifts can be all during the week too. When I'm not working I'm usually out with my friends or in my room binging on Netflix! I am always down for a chat and a drink, but from my experience of already living out of home I understand the need for space and your own time! I'm a very clean person and I can somewhat cook :)
I've been renting a lovely place in Spring Hill and looking for a tenant who wants to share that place on this site, but also considering moving into another property as a team up or unfurnished place where me, my little dog lady, and my household furniture will fit. I'm looking for a place that includes off street car parking, my own bathroom and enough space for my furniture (or at least a place to store it). Also looking for a fenced outdoor space of some size for my outdoor furniture and for my little dog to roam. I also have spare bedroom furniture if a team up person could use it. I'm reliable, house proud and easy going. I love music, a chat over a cuppa or drink. My little dog (Lady) is a 7yr old miniature foxy, house trained, very sweet and hardly makes any noise, except for the postman bike. Lady an I both come with real estate references if needed. Let me if you have a place that might suit me or would like to discuss a team up. I'm also flexible on a move date. Please also check out my rooms for rent if you wanted to consider moving into the townhouse I am currently renting. The lease is due for renewal in June so need to make a decision to stay or leave by end of May.
A bit about myself... I'm from Brazil. I'm 37 years old. I'm studying and working as well. I just got my visa granted till 03/2019. I enjoy cooking and I love BBQ and soccer, beer/wiskey/wine or two I'm always up to. I'm sociable, friendly, clean, tidy and respectable. I'm easy going person.
I'm a 26 year old teacher who is about to rent out my house in the far north (Burpengary) and looking to move closer to the city. I have a lot of furniture to contribute , however, also happy to ditch it if it's not needed. I also have a sooky 2 year old staffy who stays outside when I am out, but does like a cuddle when I'm home from work. She is given two walks a day so that she isn't (too) naughty :) I am a super lazy cook, but I do try from time to time and I love a red wine while bingeing on Netflix. I'm not at the house very often, but when I am, I am clean, considerate and happy to have a chat.
Professional, honest, tidy, respectful mature gentlemen seeking to share or self-contained 2 bed unit for me and my son I own property(overseas) and will treat your property as well as I do mine. My job involves extensive travel, which means I will be away most of the time during the week. I do not drink and drink but a sporty type person. Relatively new to Australia and looking to buy own place in near future hence option to look for share. Will be great to find a nice welcoming home (if shared- temporary; if self-contained cottage, long term stay) I do have a car- some form of parking will be great Will bring own bed, fridge and other basics Thank you for your consideration
Hey my names Sean, 24 year old machine operator looking for a place on the north side. Super chilled and easy to get along with, very hard working and busy. Pretty much just do my own thing and wouldn't be home all that often most weekends!
Hey, we are Jesse and Aby, we are a fun-loving couple who enjoy socialising and meeting new people. Along with hanging out we also enjoy alone time. Aby works 6 days a week and we spend our time together out and about. We love reading, board games, and music. Easy to live with, we like to keep our living areas clean and tidy and like to make a house a home! We are smokers and have an adorable, loving indoor cat named Skadi who gets on with everyone!
Helloooo, currently I'm looking for a new place in the future to live in or team up with someone! I tend to keep to myself but I would love to become friends with who I live with and also send them memes from the other room. I don't drink either so I'm not a huge party animal but I still like to be social I'll be studying full time also as of July at Mount Gravatt.
Just moved here from Europe, I'm still in a settling phase lol. I started my lectures on 10/4, I hope to find a place as quickly as possible so that I have a point for reference to get around and get to know the city. I'm a gay guy, vegetarian. Just keen on living the Aussie life I always wanted. I can go out and party but I'm a hermit at times, all depends on the mood and the people. I am a huge fan of social media and my list of favourite TV shows is never ending. Ideal Friday night is just a bottle of wine and good company. Trying to cut down/quit smoking but that's as bad as I get really. Main interests are animals, anything Aussie, cute boys haha, fashion, photography, just diversity as far as people go and yoga! I really want to get into it so if you're up for being my yoga buddy I love you already! I would just love a diverse household I could call a home, not just a temporary stay, someone that would explore this city and experience all it has to offer, wether you're a foreigner or a native!
