Hi all! My name is Kate, I'm 21 and work full time in the city in admin. I'm really easy going, love a laugh and am keen to find housemates that I can sit down and have a wine and a rant with every now and then. If you think I'd be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!
Hi there, I just recently moved up from Sydney and have been living on the Gold coast, I am now looking to move to Brisbane due to work. looking at 6 months to a year lease, looking for cool/ down to earth roommates, I work Monday – Friday, when I am not working you’ll find me at the gym as Health and Fitness is my passion. I am flexi with the moving date. I am a down to earth chilled guy ( from the country) always up for a laugh, I am a clean and tidy person, love a beer on weekends and going out from time to time. If you want to know more please just ask! Thanks, Damian mething
Trying to get my priorities right, one of which includes moving closer to the northside so I can enjoy a few more extra minutes of sleep - because everyone knows that a nurse enjoys that head to pillow-shut-eye time. I'll happily raise my hand and admit that I am a happy little extrovert, because I love meeting new people and have been sharing and caring since I was ten. Just to elaborate on that a bit, I was at boarding school, then did a bit of backpacking, decided I wanted to use my head again which involved living on campus at college whilst at uni and well now I am here in a share house looking to share again. Don't fret though I know the classic signs and symptoms of someone that needs their own space and will happily oblige. I try and make the most of my days off and am always up for an adventure, whether that is a market trip, off for some vitamin D and sea, trying to complete a 1000 piece puzzle or discovering funky new nooks and crannies to eat, drink or watch movies at. If you have any questions just type away. (ps there are 2 of us so looking for two rooms, pls)
I've just recently moved from Sydney and want to live in an area that's a little more lively (currently living in the suburbs and I'm going out of my mind). I'm very easy going, I enjoy going to pubs, watching live music and going to karaoke! I'm a hoot! But I also like chilling at home and watching a whole series in two days. A little from column A and a little from column B.
A Happy Hippy chick from Sydney looking for an awesome home in Bris-vegas! I am a reliable, outgoing and positive peep who loves to bake on the weekends! (mostly muffins but hey im still baking!) I work as a tarot reader and will often chat about current astrological alignments when the time is right. Im also quiet and mindful of your personal space but am always there to chat if you need/want too :) Im moving to Brisbane to complete my postgrad in counselling so im quiet alot of the time or not around :P I am here now and happy to move in when needed. Im tidy and respectful and am always smiling! Did i mention I bake on the weekends??? I live a healthy lifestyle (despite the baking!) and enjoy social shinanigans with the odd glass of champagne. And I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat! Ps i am ideally looking for a room with an ensuite or my own bathroom ... my weekly budget is also bills inclusive. pps i am also not comfortable with living with couples. I guess i wouldnt want to be a total third wheel. Sorry ! Ditto with random SMS from people telling me about their room. if im interested i will get in contact. thanks!
Hi I will be looking for somewhere to move in to in early January. Could possibly move a few weeks before hand if needed. Looking for a house share max 3 bedrooms, so everyone can be social but it doesnt feel too crowded. Ive lived in Brisbane for 5 years, working full time. Recently sold most of my furniture so have my bedroom furniture to bring plus washing machine and fridge to bring with me. Last 2 are negotiable. I use my mobile so im not fussed on landline or additional internet provision. Cheers Lauren
I'm a QUT Business School student, from New Delhi (India). Looking for a unit near CBD. I'm looking for a place to live around 180pw including bills or 200 maxxxx because I'd like to have a private bathroom. I don't smoke or drink but I am friendly and like to s t a y c l e a n. I love traveling and won't mind exploring the city or nearby destinations!! Looking at the rentals I think it's a good idea to team up and rent a whole unit. 2bed2bath unit around 400 can be divided into 2-3 to fit into the budget. One last thing, my course is until December 2018, so I'd prefer somebody with at least 1 year stay. Drop me a message if interested! :) Thanks.
I am an outgoing, bubbly person who enjoys socializing and partying during the weekends. I am looking for a single room in a shared accommodation near Royal Brisbane Hospital and plans to stay for a year. Happy to team up with like-minded easy-going people so please feel free to contact me.
I am a 22 yr old female currently working full time and studying law/business at UQ. I love dogs. In any spare time I have, I enjoy watching Netflix, cooking/baking and catching up with friends. I like having a clean kitchen, and I tidy up after myself in common areas. I am a somewhat quiet roommate but I enjoy having a chat or dinner with others in the house. I would be comfortable living with anyone. My current lease ends 12 January, and I am looking to secure a new place before then for at least 6 months. Would prefer an unfurnished room in a furnished house, as I have my own bed and desk, but I am flexible. Built in wardrobe is a must.
Hi! 22 year old working full time in finance in the CBD so generally out of the house 9-5 Monday to Friday. Clean, respectful and considerate housemate, Generally keep to myself during the week - however do not mind socialising and a wine on the weekends :) Looking for like minded housemates in a central area.
I am originally from upstate NY but fell in love with Brisbane when I was an international student at UQ in 2014. I just graduated in the States and am now here on a holiday working visa-seeking sponsorship. My visa terminates in August 2017. I am cleanly, organized and very friendly; I am respectful of others' space, friends or family who may visit, beliefs and lifestyle choices. I am a person that loves to travel and adventure around the city, so I am usually just home to sleep. I look forward to meeting new people and living in Brisbane! :o)
I am looking for a place for a short term to stay at only twice a week. I live on the coast but work in brisbane 3 days a week, so I prefer to stay down here for 2 nights to save the travel. So really I only need a bedroom for 2 nights a week. Any offers I'll consider. Thanks.
Hello! My name is Alex. I am a young professional from Edinburgh, Scotland. I am an outgoing person who enjoys sport, travelling and cooking. I am looking for a long-term flatshare or houseshare arrangement within travelling distance of the CBD and my office in Milton.
I am a fun, friendly and thoughtful 21 year old psychology student who loves movies, music, cooking, animals, board games, markets, the odd glass of wine, a nice chat, and meeting new friends. I am not a party person at all and am very respectful of others I live with. I love a good cooking session and a chat but also enjoy time to myself. I like to have a friend over now and then, but would always respect the others I live with. I like to live in a clean and tidy home and am happy to do my share of chores. I am also hoping to be close to public transport as I do not have my own transport.
Hi everyone! I will be starting full time work at Brisbane from the February and I'm looking to find a place close to the CBD (not apartments due to my vehicle) and preferably with my own bathroom/ensuite. I am a super laidback person, I enjoy my own private times but also love to work out, cook myself a balanced meal, super keen on being clean and some level of tidiness, love to listen to music and just having a good time in general.
Hi! I'm a full time graphic designer + photographer in a lifestyle PR/marketing company. Relaxed, easygoing and fairly quiet to live with. I'm quiet during the week and spend weekends with friends, at the markets, going home to visit family and photographing. Never opposed to a cheeseboard and wine and will happily sit down for a chat at the end of the day. Would love to find a home with some relaxed, friendly, good-humoured housemates. Huge animal lover so have no issue living with pets. [ preferably looking for somewhere with an ensuite ]
My friend Dana and I are looking to move out with some more people towards the end of January to save some money and meet some great people. So a little bit about us... I'm a recent journalism and PR graduate, currently work casual in Milton while gaining some more experience in PR. Dana studies exercise physiology and works two jobs in the CBD in retail and food services so she's a trooper. We both enjoy drinks on the weekend or just after a long day, nachos (or any mexican food really) and kicking back with some Netflix. We're looking for a house close to the city with nearby public transport and a supermarket. Ideally a walkable area like Paddington but we're open to other places. Must be okay with small dogs! My family has 2 and they might be staying over once a month or less. They're friendly inside dogs, one's a mini poodle and the other a cavoodle, and they spend 99% of their time sleeping so shouldn't be a bother. If you're interested send me a message and we'd be happy to meet up :) ***Update: We've become a group of 3 so keen to find a 4th!
Easy going and relaxed person who is friendly and social, yet respectful of people's privacy and things, and very clean. I work in Digital Marketing in the higher education industry, in the Valley, working weekdays 5 days per week. I enjoy keeping fit, yoga, socialising, checking out new cafes/restaurants/bars and laughing :) Looking to live with just one other person (a female) ideally, and would like own bathroom and parking space.
Hey guys I'm Nikki, a 22 year old full time worker. I have been living out of home since I was 18 and have found 3 awesome roomies off this site in the past. I have a whole house of furniture (tv, lounge, kitchen supplies, vacuum, ect) so you'll just need to supply your bedroom stuff. My current apartment already had a washing machine and no room for a kitchen table so I had sold mine. So if you have either of these that would be amazing. I also have a 1 year old gorgeous male kitty, who is fully house trained and is happy lounging around the house all day. So hopefully can find someone who likes cats. I keep fairly quiet during the week, spend a lot of time in the kitchen, may go for a jog, or watch some lame tv shows. But on weekends I'm always out and about either at the beach, markets, festivals or out with mates. I am a bit of clean freak and like living with someone who likes to live in a clean house. In saying that I am a very laid back, easy go type of girl that is looking for people who are the same. I'm looking to start up a new lease in the New Farm area with another like minded full time worker. If you think we will be well suited please let me know
I'm 20 years old and looking for a fun and down to earth housemate who is clean. After living in share houses since 18 years old, and trying to live with cousins, friends and the rest, I've found it increasingly hard to find someone that picks up after themselves. All I ask is that you enjoy a ciggie or beer on the balcony with me, and that you clean up your dishes and space :-) I always have a record spinning at home, love film and a good drink. I often enjoy going out with mates, or chilling out alone in my room. I'm looking to move into a house that has enough space for us, and a small backyard to hang out in. If you feel like we could get along as housemates send me a message as I'm all out of luck :-) Sophia
Clean, easy-going, reliable 24 year old female who has a love for wellness and living a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy meeting new people and socialising as well as having time to myself. I am open-minded and fun!
I currently work part time as a software developer in Fortitude Valley. I've been studying Engineering full time at UQ up until this semester but may be putting that on the backburner in favour of earning money. Right now I live on the Gold Coast. The commute is killing me, so I'd like to move within a 5km radius of the CBD. I'm a drummer, so it would be cool if you could tolerate the tapping of an electric kit or practise pads (not going to even try to bring my acoustic kit up), however it's not a must. Musicians are a plus, especially if you're down for a jam. I like cooking when I have the time, so bonus points for gas. Pets are cool provided they're well looked after and don't keep anyone awake during the night. If your ideal Friday night involves craft beer, metal, jazz, or burgers (or some combination of those) then I'm your guy
I am Thom, I am 20 years old, and I am staying in Brisbane until the 28th of January. I am doing an unpaid internship over here as part of a course of my university study International Business Administration which I follow in the Netherlands. I am an easy-going guy, like to chat about different things (cultures, hobby's, sports etc), and liked to explore the city thus far. Furthermore I like keeping everything clean, especially if it is something that is shared between everyone. I am looking for another fun place to stay for about four weeks. Since I am leaving Australia on the 28th of January, and my current lease ends at the 3rd of January, I am looking to fill that gap in between. :) Looking forward to hear from all of you!
Hey guys! I'm Tom, I've just moved to Brisbane from Adelaide and I'm in desperate need of somewhere to live. I'll be working hospitality in the valley over the summer, I'll be going back to Adelaide in feb as it will be the end of my uni holidays. I'm a neat and respectful person who loves to cook and have a chat but also understands boundaries, having lived in share houses before. I'm looking for a furnished temporary room to stay while I'm here, am also flexible on the dates of moving in/out (asap is preferred though).
I'll be working full time next year and have just finished my teaching degree. I'm friendly and would love to live with people who I can socialise with. I also like to keep clean and have been living in a share house for the past 4 years so am very comfortable living in this kind of situation.
A British couple both working full time. I work at the Airport and Ella works in a pub in the Valley. We are looking to share accommodation with like minded people, clean, considerate and friendly, to enhance our Australian experience by meeting new people. We have lived in both shared accommodation as well as owned our own property, So we enjoy being sociable but also respect others privacy. We are ideally looking for a room that is furnished with air con. Other amenities such as a pool and/or gym would be good and also parking for one car either on street or off street. We look forward to hearing from you, Ian and Ella

Radiography student who is quiet and hardworking looking for a place to live when my lease runs out :) All I do is study, go to gym and go to work. I don't mind hanging out with housemates provided we get along great. Love movies and video games but also know how to keep to myself when needed :) Please only message me if you are looking for someone to move in between Feb 13 - 22 as I am unable to move in any earlier.
I'm easy to live with, don't make much noise. Can be quiet sometimes, but outgoing once you get to know me. Clean, friendly, into art and loves to cook (got a few cook books), and have a good chat. I will be working full time Monday - Friday (graduate architect) so will be pretty chilled in the evenings. Been in Brisbane for about 4months and love getting to know the city and excellent food spots.
I am a 27 year old American, living here in Brisbane studying my Masters degree. I am easy going, friendly, tidy, and independent. Looking forward to meeting like minded people in a healthy and happy environment :)
I brew my own beer, am a decent cook when I get around to it, and generally keep to myself but can get along with anyone just fine. I work in hospitality and am quite an active, outdoorsy person. I am relatively clean and hygenic and therefore looking for a clean, furnished room.
I am a brazilian researcher on creative economy and I am gonna stay in Brisbane for 5 months working at QUT Kelvin Grove. I am 32 years old, a nice guy, open minded, vegetarian, gay, nerd-geek, enjoy to take a glass or tow of wine in the after-work. And also, have funny moments at the weekend. At home I usually stay in room studying and working. I live by myself since 17 years, so I am organized and clean with house. :)
Hi! My friends Ella, Megan and I looking for somewhere to move in towards the end of January as we want to move in together and meet some great new people! I am studying at QUT doing a Bachelor of Creative Industries. Ella and Megan are both studying at UQ, in International Studies and Psychology respectively. We're keen to socialise on the weekends with a few drinks or over dinner, enjoy going to gigs or just hanging around at home. We're keen to live close to easy transport to the city, and transport to Red Hill as that's where Megan and I currently work. We can afford around $200 a week each including bills, internet etc. Contact me if you think you'd be interested!
Hi there, 29yo corporate professional doing the 9to5 thing in the city. I try to get out most weekends so am rarely around. Likes: Cooking, sports, beach trips and hiking I only have bedroom furniture with me at the moment so a furnished place to move into would be great. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
Hi :) I'm an easy going music student, I play guitar and sing. But I'm always respectful with my noise. I am studying in south brisbane so I'd like to live within approx 30mins of uni (on public transport), I do also have a car though. Ideally I'd like to find some people that I get along with well, I am good at just keeping to myself, but would prefer to make some friends :) My ideal place would have a fairly large bedroom (I have a fair bit of music gear etc) and a bathroom to myself or one that doesn't have to be shared with too many people. Also my boyfriend lives on the Sunshine Coast and sometimes comes over on weekends so it would be good if the house was okay with that . Thankyou :)
I'm originally from the UK, over here on a working holiday visa until February so I would be looking for somewhere until then. I'm currently working in the CBD for an insurance company. Wanting to find a fully furnished private room, ideally within 30mins walk of the city.
I am a clean, tidy person, and will respect your private space, but also would love to socialise by watching movies/ TV, playing board games or enjoying a nice household dinner and drinks. Currently have teamed up with 2 other girls who are also 20yo and are all wanting a 4th roommate.
Exceptionally clean and tidy, very thoughtful and caring people. We arequite sociable but will also respect your privacy. I am from the UK, travelling with my partner, we are both mid twenties. We have just landed in Australia, so will be looking for full time jobs asap. Shaun is a commercial diver and I work in admin/hospitality. We are very hard working people
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA. We are looking for somewhere awesome to move into in early January!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here in Tallahassee, FL. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us, please let us know so we can accomodate your wishes when we meet you :) We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games with us and jam some records. I've also got a Playstation which you'd be welcome to use for games or Netflix. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan (I'm slowly making the transition) but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is a true outside dog and prefers to stay outdoors most of the time unless the weather is really bad. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets as she gets along really well with other dogs, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. He will probably also pick up a casual job in hospo or retail. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have pretty much no furniture at all; if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
Hi I'm Bryce, I'm a 29 year old Australian guy originally from near the Sunshine Coast, my gf Karli is Canadian (Alberta) on a work visa here and I have close American friend John (Colorado) who is arriving in January on a work visa. We are currently looking for 2/3 bedroom house or unit to move into around the beginning of February. Not opposed to moving into a place with another person to make it 4 people, within reason (i.e. relatively large place). I work in the oil & gas/mining exploration industry, and I also have a small scale GIS business on the side when I'm not working away in the field. Karli is finishing a Masters in Communication/PR at uni and has been working as a bar tender, and John has just finished 8 months working at a research station down in Antartica and will most likely be working for the exploration company I work for early next year. We are all fairly well travelled and love to have a chat! If your place sounds like a perfect place for us to move into and around the time we are looking at, please hit me up!
Hi there. i'm a tradesman and plant operator, looking for a relaxed place with chill people. i'm a considerate and clean guy who loves cooking and sharing a meal with his housemates. i work fulltime, 6 nights a week, so would prefer housemates that are a bit more mature, and are past the "party house" stage.... :) I AM LOOKING FOR A HOUSE ONLY, NOT AN APPARTMENT.....
I have a full time office job Monday to Friday. So I prefer to have a quite night during weekdays. I'm clean and easygoing. Also, like to cook. Would like to live with someone has similar lifestyle. Looking for a room (preferably own bathroom) in apartment. Also interested in teaming up with likeminded people for renting apartment.
I am a young clean guy who is hoping to find a place to live for the next 1year + as I am trying to save to buy a house. Prefer my own bathroom. Will spend only $200(ish) as what I am currently spending is too much for my liking. Will be respectful and tidy, Thanks!
I'm working full time and study full time so like the house to be clean and quite (with in reason) during the week, and enjoy a few drinks on weekends and night time. Am interested in teaming up with someone to get a apartment together or move in with someone else.
I'm looking for a nice single room in a clean, beautiful and shared house where I can meet some great people and call the house my home :) I'm 26-year-old Polish, work full-time as a development engineer in CBD and go to the gym 4/5 times a week. I'm all into sport, recently started to surf. I do my dishes always immediately and require it from you as well :) Hope to find a great place! ;) Cheers, Krystian

I am currently doing undergrad at UQ (full-time). Looking to share a house with mature and clean flatmates. I am working part-time and enjoy improving my fitness when I am free. Not much of a party person (I am rather private and prefer to have my own space from time to time), but I enjoy intellectual conversations with people.
I'm a software engineer working in the city. I enjoy cycling to work, being social, being active, eating healthy (ish), cooking/eating foreign food. Dabble in a little sketching/painting occasionally. Will clean bathrooms and toilets haha!
