I'm looking for a housemate to share a home with. I'm neat, tidy and respectful of others. I'm a full time student and I'm looking for a job as well, which means I will be studying or working during weekdays. When I’m not studying I like to relax, hang out in front of the TV, go to the pool/beach, workout in the gym, walk around the river and on weekends get some wine/beer or going to restaurants/bars. If I sound like someone you'd be keen to talk further with, send me a message!
Hello, I am Jackelyn but all my friends call me Jacky. I am a professional in Marketing and passionate about sports. I love martial arts and surfing. Even though, I consider myself a person who likes spending time outside, I also enjoy some quiet time at home. I will be moving to Brisbane in July to study a master's degree and I am looking for a room or a place to share. More about myself? Well, I am friendly, respectful, clean and responsable. I am always up for a chat or a shared meal :) but I also value my privacy and quiet time as I will respect yours. Ideally, I would prefer to share a place with another non smoker graduate or professional. Send me a message if you have questions.
I’m easygoing, love to have a laugh, am a good cook/Baker. Looking for a place to call my home and a housemate to get along with and perhaps a drink, chat, dinner every now and then but also love my own down time. I am also a yoga instructor so yoga sessions come with!
Holaaaa My lease is ending start of July so I'm looking for a new place to move into! Looking for flatmates that are happy to socialise with runs along kangaroo point, going to the markets on weekend or a sneaky lil wine night here and there. I study graphic design at QUT and work at Nespresso in the city so you won't ever have to worry about buying coffee again, I'll provide it all!! Ideally looking for someone close in age (19-28) as I tend to surround myself with that age group the most, but I get along with everyone! Feel free to message if you think you'd be a good fit x
I study media and communications full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove and work as a casual AV technician setting up corporate events for Staging Connections. I've currently been living in the same share house for the last 3 years. I know how to tidy up after myself, the importance of a friendly chat and when to give others some space. I like to cook at home as often as possible, ideally in a vegetarian household, but this isn't always possible. I would like to play more music at home and be able to set up a guitar in a corner of the house somewhere. I like watching the news, current affairs, documentaries and on-line TV series (I'm currently into The Handmaid's Tale). In the past I've organised a small Game Of Thrones night so we could watch the latest episode but also to bring people together. I like to do yoga in the park, meditate at home on a regular basis and usually attend a meditation centre on the weekends for group meditation.
Hey there! I have Recently moved back to brisbane after 5 years of working as Dancer over seas. I am currently working as a dance teacher throughout Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and am looking for a place in brisbane to call home for the rest of 2018! 🙂
We are a couple coming from France. After 2 months of road trip we stop in Brisbane for 6 months to work, meet people and learn more about Australian way of life. We are cool, calm and good guest, we love music, food, sport, laugh and meet people !
I'm very clean but laid back and love to enjoy life and have a laugh. I'm looking for a drama free environment and a place that feels homely and welcoming. I'm looking for someone to live with who is like minded. I believe in respecting each others privacy and posessions however I'm a friendly, sharing , giving person and like the idea of someone who could potentially become a friend not just a housemate. I'm by no means a party animal and don't want a party house however I love to chill, chat and have a couple of drinks after work or on the weekend. I've lived in Sydney my whole life (travelled a lot too) and I'm moving to Brisbane at the beginning of July as I'm being transferred with work. I work full time Monday to Friday as a sales rep and in my down time I love fitness, being outdoors, exploring new places, scuba diving, socializing with friends and meeting new people. I don't have any pets however I love animals and am hoping to buy a dog in the next few months (I'm looking at a frenchie - small and low maintenance) so my housemate would need to be open to dogs. Hence why I'm looking for a house or townhouse with a back yard. I have all furniture and appliances to furnish a house and hoping to team up with someone to find a beautiful place to live. If you feel we would get as housemates, please get in contact with me.
Hello! My name is Aidan. I am 24, have travelled the world (mostly Africa), am well educated (have two degrees) and am about to start my next chapter. I am about to start working full time in the CBD and am in need of a place to live. Ideally, I am looking for a room in a share house with cultured and social housemates between the ages of 20-30. I love red wine, anything cultural as well as all forms of music, art and expression! I'm very easy going, clean and sociable however I do value my own space and that of my housemates. If you like the sound of my brief description and profile feel free to swing me a message!
Hi Everyone, I'm a Sunny Coast guy working in Brisbane Monday to Friday. Aside from work I spend most of my time training somewhere either on the river or running the streets somewhere. I'm easy going like all types of music, like to cook like a few drinks and enjoy being social but no party person. I like tidy in shared spaces and being surrounded by respectful fun people. You will not see me most weekends as I have a home on the Sunny Coast and I love to surf.
Hi! I'm Giulia and I'm moving to Brisbane starting from mid September 2018, to write my thesis in molecular biology, for about 6-7 months (end of March 2019). I'm from Italy, so I stereotypically like to cook, but I always clean after myself and share my creations ;) I am easy to communicate with and I love making new friends, so I hope we can hang out and spend time together every once in a while! I don't smoke, so I'd rather have flatmates who don't smoke either, but as long as my room is smoke-free I'm good! I like movies and books and I have been guilty of binge watching many TV series. I'm not a party animal, but I'm always up for a drink! I love travelling and I'm curious about different cultures, this is the main reason I'm moving to Brisbane to write my Master's thesis instead of just getting it done in Italy, so I don't care where you're from as long as you're respectful and kind, like I try to be :)
Me and my current housemate are looking for another housemate or 2 to join us as we'd like to start a new lease for a 3 or 4 bedroom place. We have our own furniture including a fridge, couches and a washing machine. We're looking for someone who is clean and respectful. We are really friendly and also like to have a drink and go out once in a while. Feel free to message me if your location preferences (we're flexible) and budget is similar to ours and would like to discuss it some more :)
Hey, Paige is the name. I’m a Mature and Responsible 22 year old female, seeking a room to rent as soon as possible. My affordability being a max of $120 per week - plus I do get paid fortnightly. I am Currently unemployed but actively looking for work. I will not be at the house 24/7 as I am pretty busy most of the time. I am well-mannered and very clean, I never leave a mess behind as I also have OCD 😋 I’m considerate and fully respect all ground rules as well as the privacy of others as I will be renting a room off someone, in their home. I am reliable and drama free, known to always pay rent on time. I’m easy going and pretty simple to get along with, so if you’re in need of a housemate, I’m the one you’re looking for. 😊✌🏽
Uni student looking to rent a room or 1bedroom property for 6 months or less. Preferred to live with easy going, respectful and well maintained people to keep home clean and tidy.
I’ve been living with my current housemate for 4 years, now she is moving in with her partner so I’m taking the opportunity to find a fresh new space. I work full time in the CBD and am undertaking Masters in IT part time. I have industrial sewing machines so I’d love to team up with someone who might like a shared creative space in the house. I’d also like to get a cleaner in on a semi-regular basis. I tend to work a lot, relax at home. Once a year I throw a big dinner party for Chinese New Year but other than that I don’t entertain much. I’m pretty laid back and always open to constructive communication if any issues arise. I have been the head tenant in my current place so I have dining furniture, couch, some bookshelves/cabinets, TV, fridge, washing machine and my own bedroom furniture. Happy to share Netflix/Stan subscriptions etc.
we're looking for a nice apartment/house/unit to call our first home! if you're looking for someone to take over your lease, please message us! looking for a place that's 20 mins to the city or less. we're not looking for any roommates :)
Hi my name is David and I am looking for an easy going housemate, working for an Architecture practice in the City. I’m tidy, respectful of each other’s space but like to have a chat after work or when suits. Pretty easy going, like to socialise in between work and generally keeping healthy doing gym and yoga. I am also keen for hikes or heading to the beach in my spare time. I work pretty hard so like to chill and wind down when I am at home. Happy to meet up for a coffee or drink for a chat. Cheers
If you would like a housemate who is interested in all sorts of things, will have a wine and a laugh as easily as spending time alone with hobbies, is respectful of space and values time alone, then i'm the sort of person you're after. When I'm not working my fulltime job, I'm a yoga teacher, acroyogi, bookworm, motorcyclist, pianist, and i dabble in art. I love living amongst vibrant people and places, and great sharehouses are like living in a big family, without the nappies.
I come with my little dachshund Pippa who loves everyone. I'm currently an Enrolled Nurse studying to be a Registered Nurse. I keep myself busy with work, study and fitness, but I do take every opportunity to socialise with either friends or my flatmates. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine and consider myself a pretty good cook, wouldn't mind cooking everyone dinner every so often. I'm not just looking for a cheap room, I'm looking for somewhere to call home for at least 6 months and friends to share that with as I'll be moving to a city where I don't know anyone. I am reliable, tidy, and respectful.
I come as part of a duo, with my nine month old labrador x kelpie (labradelpie) puppy. She is a loveable little lass who'll be a great addition to any home. We're/I'm always up for sinking a few beers, but can also happily respect people's down time when it's needed.
