Hi there, I'm Chris from Berlin, Germany. I just moved to Brisbane on the 27 of July as an exchange student at the QUT (Gardens Point). Staying in a hostel a.t.m. and looking for a nice flatshare for the next 4 month. I'm an open minded and communicative person and lived in a flatshare (male and female) for the last 4 years, so I'm used to cook, having a beer (German stereotype - check! ;), go out dancing, doing sports or just hang out, together with my flatmates. But I also totally understand if someone wants to be alone or just needs some rest. I'm also a clean and tidy person and I like animals, so if you have a pet, this shouldn't be a problem, except it is something creepy! :D Some more about me? For the last 6 years I worked as an event manager (in full-time) for the cultural department of one district office of Berlin. Next to my job I studied in the evenings for the last 2 1/2 years. But now I quitted my job to be able to study abroad for one semester and go on traveling afterwards. I saved enough money and will also try to get a job in bar or sth. similar, so no worries, I will be able to pay my rent easily (even without the job)! If you have any questions, just hit me up! Cheers Chris
Hi there, We are both Germans and here for work. We have been living and working in New Zealand for the last 2 years. I'm a prof. hairdresser and My partner is a graduated Product Design Engineer. We are easy going , tidy people and down to earth, always happy to socialize but respect others and give them their own space! Feel free to ask questions! Cheers Jasmina
Hi There, I'am Charles, 25 From Paris I'am here with a student visa and studding business. I'am pretty easy to live and always available for a chat. I'am known as clean and ponctual for paid the rent. I do love sport ( Gym addicted ) But also like sometime go for a beere in the city. I can stay in my current flat until the 13 August. Cheers.
Hi! I'm 21 and employed full time, working in the city as an architect. I would say I'm neat, easy-going and reasonably quiet/private, but always up for a chat. I'm into photography, cycling and like to get out of the city and go bushwalking on weekends.
I'm studying psych and justice full time at QUT and working casually so I'm rarely home during the day (unless I'm feeling lazy) but I'm always keen to get out for gigs and drinks. I've been flatsharing for a few years now so I'm good on the lowdown for keeping things clean and lighthearted, I'm also really laid back so not much stresses me out. I'm basically always down for festivities and family dinners, but chill nights to get work done are good too (bonus points for Game of Thrones ep nights). My current roomie is moving away at the end of August so I'm looking for a new crew to get around with and have some fun times! Send me a message if this matches what you're looking for or if you have a room available around that time, thanks!
Hello we are two friends looking for another person or two to team-up with and start a new share house. Our current lease isn't up until September 4th so we won't be moving until the end of August. At the moment we're just looking for person/s who we mesh well with so we have a fun and happy household. ABOUT US: Alice works full time in real estate and Dj works part time and studies full time at QUT. We are both a bit geeky and enjoy games, anime, books, and binge watching Netflix. We also like to have nights out every now and then and have more than a few drinks. Dj owns a cat named Nymeria so we will be after pet-friendly places. She is 2 years old so is full of energy and is very playful. She also loves attention and is very friendly. Nymeria has not really been around other animals but we are sure she would adjust and get along with any pets you may have. For furniture we have a washing machine, fridge, outdoor table set and a mini fridge. We don't have lounge room furniture so if you do that's great! Otherwise we'd be happy to buy it but you would be responsible for furnishing your own bedroom. Our rent budget is $150 each a week (bills not included) but we can go slightly higher if the place is really good. ABOUT YOU: We are looking for a reliable person who pays bills on time and helps with the cleaning around the house. Dj often has to be up at 4am for work (a couple weekdays and every second weekend) so we are looking for someone who can be fairly quiet and respectful on the nights before she has to be up early. You will be going on the lease so please take that into consideration. We're putting this listing up early because we'd like to meet with potential flatmates to see if we'd get along!
Looking for 1-2 people to find a whole apartment. I am happy with furnished or unfurnished. I will be in Thailand all of August but am hoping to get something sorted for the 1st of September. If you are looking for a buddy up let me know!
Young professional, friendly and easy going. Passionate cook, enjoys spending time outdoors and going to music shows. Avid motorcyclist. Respectful of personal space and privacy, also enjoy a chat and drink with house crew. :)
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 36 year old single gay guy. I recently moved back to Brisbane after spending some time in Sydney and Melbs. I'm originally from Sydney. I have just scored a full time role with Cash Converters in Taringa at the head office. I'm a bubbly, optomistic guy. I'm not a party animal, but love a glass of red. I'm very clean too. I actually love cleaning. Why i don't know. lol. I lived in Canada and NYC for almost 10 years so i have a kind of aussie / canadian accent apparently. Would love an ensuite, but totally open to the right place with the right flatmate. First world problems right... :) I would love to live with someone who is more extroverted than introverted, someone after a friend more than just sharing a living space together. I'm happy and chatty most of the time, and like similiar. I like optomists, rather than pesimists. Idea of the perfect flatmate: Happy, says " How you doing? ", loves to catch up and chat the end of the day, watch a movie together, not into drugs at all ( I never seen illicit drugs do anything good for anyone ) and loves a glass of red. Non judgemental and gay friendly. Someone who supports the gay community, even better! If you love Rupaul's Drag Race, i will love you. :) - I don't hook up much, maybe once in 3 months - but you would be cool that i'm getting laid and visa versa. lol. Some gay guys can be really snooty and uptight which i dislike. Try living with gay guys in Sydney - you leave one fork in the sink and they need to take a Valium to calm down. Worst flatmate for me: Complete gamers, introverted and shy, rude and just says " Hi " once a day and nothing else, does everything to excess - if your a gay guy that must drink 2 bottles of wine and get smashed every time you have a drink and stumble in at 7am, good for you, but at 36, i'm a little passed that. No judgement - I was like that in my 20's, but not now. I don't like gay guys that have a crabby/cunty attitude for absolutely no reason either ( trust me, its common in Oz ) lol.
Working Nurse and Student Paramedic with tiny loving dog called Bandit. When I'm not at Work, Uni or hanging with friends or family I like to chill and read or go to the gym. I don't mind a drink or two but not a typical every weekend party going 20 year old. I am just looking around as I get closer to the end of my current lease and my flatmate is moving to Townsville. I'm pretty easy going and am very respectful of others privacy and happy to hang out too.
I am a polite and friendly housemate, preferring to busy myself in my room writing or drawing, but will happily socialize if the other parties wish to hang out. I do not study, and searching for a job as of 12th Jul, as I am saving my money for my Europe working visa. Living with me, is my two year old cat, Jenga.
I'm 23, a lawyer, and currently living in Singapore for work. Originally from Melbourne, I am moving back to Brisbane in September for work. Very much a people person, so I'm looking for a shared house. I used to live in New Farm/Teneriffe area and love the location! I often work long hours, so I won't be around that much. But always keen to chat/for a wine (or two) when I do finish on time.
Hello my name is Kimber-Lee, I am a 26 year old Sales Administrator for Fire and Safety company in Morningside. I work Monday to Friday which makes me very quiet during the week and dealing with customers I usually am in bed early. Weekends I’m usually out doing something with friends or on the flip side binge watching tv. I’m a very clean respectable person when it comes to living with others, if I have an issue I just am the kind of person to talk it out and am open to people correcting me on issues within the house. I hoping for similar people to live with, I do like to have a drink or two on the weekends so if you like wine or beer we will get along just fine. I am hoping for a place that loves dogs as I have a mini dachshund called Milly who is an inside dog and sleeps in my bed (I know crazy!), secured yard is very important. Even better if you already have a dog so mine won’t get lonely during the day. I moved to Brissy from Central Queensland (Cattle country) which means time to time a family member (mainly my brother) comes to visit me, I hope that also can be a possibility or not a problem to whoever I end up moving in with. Looking for a place that is close to the city, air-conditioned room, internet access and best case own bathroom but not a deal breaker if I have to share. If any of this sounds like you please contact me via message on flatmates. No couples please.
I'm originally from Canada and I'm a recent law graduate from Bond Uni. I'm starting my new job in Brisbane CBD at beginning of September and I'm currently living on the GC, but I'm looking to move to Brisbane around August 20th.
Recently moved to Brisbane for work. I'm easy going, clean and tidy. I work full time during the week and like to spend my weekends socialising with friends, staying fit and active and exploring Queensland.
I'm looking for 1-2 People to move into a new place with me. I'm looking to move in the middle of September as my current lease ends in the end. I'm basically looking anywhere in Inner-North Brisbane, preferably no further north than Kedron. I have all communal furniture/appliances/kitchen things needed (Couch, Fridge, washer, dryer, outdoor setting, microwave, you name it) the only thing I don't have is a dining room table. Although if you have a decent size TV for the lounge room that would be great! I'm a really easy going and laid back person. I work full time so i'm out of the house all day Monday-Friday. When I get home from work I usually keep to myself a bit but don't mind the casual chat or hangout. I have a boyfriend who'll usually be over a couple nights per week as well. I really want a house where all housemates can get along and hangout as friends too! As little drama as possible would be good! 😂 I love a homey environment where we all feel comfortable. I like having friends over every now and then and wouldn't mind if you did too! I've had mixed experiences with this site (I've been in share houses for the past 3 years) so I'd like to get to know you a bit before we decide to live together. If there's anything more you'd like to know about me please send me a message! I'd love to hear from you :)
Recently moving from GC to be close to my company in Bowen Hills which I've been working for 10 years. Looking for a private bedroom coming with car park. A car park available with the bedroom is essential to me. Will stay very long for the right place and right roommate. I am tidy and clean, reliable, easy going and always cheering. Working full time Monday to Friday. Going out and about during weekend. I go to GC at least twice a month during weekend. Moving date is flexible, I can move between now to end of August.
Hi Guys I'm Andy , originally from the UK but now have residency here in Australia. Looking for a room to rent in a nice friendly house hold . I'm 31 yr old single male, I work as a full time mechanic , I go the gym everyday either before work or on my way back from work . I don't smoke or take any form of drugs and I'm not a big drinker on the whole but I do like to let my hair down once in a while. I'm a bubbly , fun character always up for a laugh and will go out of my way to help others. I like to get out and about on my days off either to the beach or a catch up with friends or have a bbq. I'm clean and tidy and respect other peoples privacy and possessions. Happy to cook for other people or help in any way I can I pay on time but have been known to pay early . Looking in Brisbane and surrounding areas . Happy to go in with someone on a new share house/apartment . I don't have any pets , just little old me :) The only things I have to insist on are ,I need my own bathroom and I must have secure undercover parking for one vehicle. would prefer not to share a house with cats as I really don't get on with them but dogs are OK Currently overseas till mid July If you have any questions at all please get in touch :) Andy :)
