I'm a diesel mechanic who just got back from nearly 2 years of travelling Europe and have recently acquired a job in Brisbane. Home for me is the Gold Coast and always like to meet new people. I'm very good at holding my own in a household, either with chipping in or cleaning what evers at hand. Bills are always paid on time. I'm usually into my cars and motorbikes but since I won't have my shed or tool to do work im planning on getting fitter.
Hey potential housemates, I'm Carmody, clearly. Some fun facts about myself, I get genuinely excited about organizing, planning, and cleaning. I have a love for food, the environment, music, and dry humor. I enjoy engaging in household activities, but I also love some me time. If you enjoy seeing questionable twists to vegetarian dishes and dry jokes with no solid punchline then I'm your gal. stay groovy :)
Originally from Sydney I have been living in Brisbane for the past year and a half. I am always on the go and work as an office manager at QLD’s number 1 restaurant in the Calile Hotel. I tend to spend a lot of tend researching everything interiors and fine tuning my technical skills. I really love to cook and especially love to bake only i tend to eat most of what i bake! I am always wanting to try new things in the kitchen :) I would ideally like to live with housemates that would like to share a meal, glass of wine or a cuppa and not live in their rooms as I am a social person and always up for a chat or to chillout watching netflix. I'm always up for a workout, yoga and love to go to the farmers markets for fresh produce. Would like to live with like minded people.
I'm on a working holiday visa, currently working full-time. I've been living in Australia for mor than a year and a half, and I'll be in the country until late March. I'm clean, tidy and quiet-mannered.
Been here past 2 years doing my PhD, so have some household items with me and looking for an unfurnished room. Pretty easy-going, clean, and social but also, appreciate alone time. I've lived with guys and girls, so not fussed, but do prefer similar age housemates. I do leave couple months at a time for my research, but when I'm around, I enjoy catching up with a glass of wine after work, love cooking, and spending any free weekend outdoors hiking/camping/climbing etc. So if you also love all things under the sun, we'll get along quite well!
I'm 30 and from London and have been in Australia for 2.5 years and loving every second. I work as a HR Advisor, and also study very part time doing leadership and management. I like to be as active and busy as possible. I love the beach and being outdoors either hiking or camping, Anything where I'm exploring makes me happy. I'm a fun and sociable girl who enjoys meeting new people and am extremely clean and tidy. I am a positive person who sees the good in everything and like to be around like minded people. I have lived out of home since I was 16 so I am very well house trained and respectful when living with other people. I am wanting to live with people who will become my friends and not just people I live with
I'm James :) I'm a 21 year old (nearly 22) post-grad physiotherapist who just graduated this year and will be working full time at a hospital next year and am looking for a place to live. I moved down from the Sunshine Coast in my first year of Uni and while I've been studying I lived by myself for my first year in student accommodation and then after that have been living with my Aunty and Uncle. A bit about me: I'm a hard working person who enjoys being independent but am also more than happy to hang out and chill :) I'm also very tidy (my aunty can vouch for me there!) and I enjoy cooking. When I'm not working/studying I enjoy keeping active - playing touch football and running or swimming. I also enjoy reading and playing guitar…but not too loudly :) I don't smoke or drink (alcohol). But I still enjoy a good yarn.
Hi all! I'm Eden, a 20y/o student at UQ, currently taking a break from study to work full-time. I've lived in sharehouses for two years now and have never been late with rent or bills. I'm always keen to help out around the place and like to keep things tidy. I'm pretty social and love a good chat, however also appreciate some time to chill out. I get along with pretty much everyone and would describe myself as easy-going and relaxed, but also well-organised and respectful. I love a good night out but like to keep pretty balanced throughout the week. Hit me up if you reckon I'd be a good addition to your house! I'd love to swing by and get to know you 😊
Hi! I’m Issak, 22 and about to graduate. I currently work two part time jobs and enjoy being social and just chillin on days off. I’m looking for a new place when my lease ends in early January. I’m flexible with lease length and location provided I’m relatively close to the city and public transport. I’ve had some pretty great housemates over the years and I’m looking for some new ones. I like to be able to socialise with the people I live with but still respect other’s privacy. If you’re interested in a team up or have a room available from January swing me a message here or on Facebook.
I have been living in Brisbane for 6months now and I am looking for a new place to live as the lovely lady I currently live with (who owns the unit) is moving OS. I am 33yo/female. I work full time in the city. I pay rent/bills on time and I am pretty clean (I come with my own Dyson, if that says anything about me!!). I have a car and would need either on or off street parking. Im looking for a room with a fan and aircon, and a pool would be an amazing bonus! I don’t smoke and I’m not a big drinker - I would usually prefer a cup of tea. Im flexible on the room being furnished or unfurnished. My budget is $300-$350 max including all bills (electric/gas/internet/water). I am open to a discussion about bills and rent. I am friendly and love a chat but also respect privacy and enjoy my own company. I enjoy going to the beach, sightseeing, reading, exploring Brisbane and meeting new people. Please feel free to contact me.
I am Mauro, I am 31 years old, I'm from Colombia, I want to learn English in Australia, I am responsible and friendly, I hope to find an apartment to share with interesting people. I like animals, cooking, the gym, and making friends.
Just back from living overseas, now into my first professional job in advertising while studying part-time. Keen on a fairly social place but nothing crazy. Last flatshare was a blast and I'm still good friends with the old housemates. Big on gigs, dinners, tennis and boxing plus the regular coast trip.
Hi my name’s Kate! I’m a young professional. I work full time as a dental assistant. I’m looking to find a house with flat mates similar age to me. On the weekends I normally go to the gym and just chill at home. I do love to go out and have a good time now and then. But also wouldn’t mind just staying home and chilling. I just want to meet some new people and make some new friends.
I am a 36-year old female from Melbourne who is moving to Queensland for 6 months to study to be a helicopter pilot - study is based in Caboolture. I am presently working full time in aviation operations but with studies, I will be looking to get a part-time job when I move over. I am clean, tidy, quiet and respectful of the space that I live in. I am easy going, friendly and am used to living with others as I have quite a large family. I love travelling and keeping active. I am a non-smoker and relax with the quiet enjoyment of music and movies.
I`m 26 year old Brazilian, studying and living in Brisbane for 3 months now. I am currently working everyday in Litton and studying Business on Thursday in the city. Want to find a private room out of the city and with more privacy. Must have air conditioner and be on walking distance to train stations
I enjoy the arts, holistic health and the natural environment. I have a sense of humour and am interested in current events. I am independant and respect others and appreciate respect in return as well as living with mature individuals. I enjoy the outdoors, animals, nature, and eco-friendly living and healthy lifestyle. I prefer peaceful, pleasant surrounds. I like my freedom. I enjoy conversations, am caring but also like to keep to myself at times. I am best living with postiive people in a positive healthy eco-friendly household. I work part time in health and health promotion. I have lots of interests so I am either doing different sorts of things (I like exploring places, ideas, experiences), some of the same stuff, as well as not much at all.
Just recently moved to beautiful Australia from my native Canada with a full time job starting up in the area which I'm pretty excited to move forward with! I'm not high maintenance whatsoever, I have no allergies or anything, hygiene is KEY, I don't smoke, however if you do I'm alright with it. NO JUDGEMENT. I like to think I see the good in all people and hopefully you will too :) I get along with many different types of people,(of course mainly the respectful ones.) I'm all about positivity, of course I got to live up to my friendly Canadian stereotype. I like to do my part, I got no problem cleaning anything anytime no matter what but of course I'm no housekeeper. (clean as you go). but yea all things considered, good vibes, I CANNOT wait to start this new step here. Il be working about 5-6 days a week in this period of time so il be busy but love to enjoy my downtime watching Netflix and whatnot. I like to write, read, work out, cook, and of course Spotify is like a hobby to me in its own. I sometimes teach English online depending on my schedule, its just something I enjoy doing. don't hesitate to contact me on Facebook once you send me a message!!!! THANKS FOR READING :)
Hello! I am a future Drama student at QUT looking for accommodation to help settle into Brisbane. I am vegan and a non-smoker. I love shopping, entertainment, nature and music. I am very neat, organised and respectful of personal space. I do have a car so I am looking for a place where I am able to park my car either in the garage or off the street. I'm unsure about how long I will be living in the flat but it's most likely a minimum of 6 months.
HII!! I'm Susie and am 18 and am studying Interactive design and working part time. I would love to move out of my parents home as soon as possible. I am looking for a place with a few other people who are around the same age as me and share the same kind of interests etc. I love weird music, brunch, photography, and am always up for a good G&T. I cook when I have time and weirdly enjoy cleaning and decorating. Let me know if you want a new friend to live with (:
I’m a 27 year old Swedish girl, can be outgoing but also like keeping to myself occasionally. I spent the past 7 years sharing flats around London, so I’m very used to the concept. I’m reliable and responsible. Looking for a full time job here in Brisbane and would like to stay here for the summer!
