Hello flatmates, I am a 49 y/o, young at heart, single female - looking for accommodation in/near Geelong & surrounding suburbs. I'm in no rush to find a place just yet, just looking to maybe team up with someone or if there is a 1 or 2 person household (40+) who is looking for another housemate perhaps?! Would prefer to have my own bathroom but am willing to share with one other. I have yet to secure employment in the area, hence the non-urgency in finding a place immediately. But if something pops up in the meantime, I am only too happy to discuss and look into further. I am friendly, easy-going, reliable, honest, clean and tidy person. I'm a non-smoker, social drinker and a lover of animals, especially dogs. My interests incl. natural health/therapies, gym, hanging out with my children...yep, that's it ;) On that note...I do have 3 older teen children (aged btwn 18-23). They live elsewhere, so please don't think there will be any hanging-on-erers. It's time I flew the nest :)) Feel free to make contact if you have any suggestions or offers for accommodation. Thank you and take care.
Hi, I'm Miya. I come from Taiwan. My boyfriend and I are working holiday in Australia now. We found a job is Lamb factory in Colac. So we really need to rent a room to live. If room has a double bed , I will very thankful. My boyfriend Marky is a auto-mechanic. He knows how to fix the car. We are very outgoing and like to make a lot of friends. Thank you so much.
We are three female uni students looking for a house to rent. We have been living on campus at Deakin, however, are ready to find our own place! We are all studying full time and working, are very neat and tidy people and don't smoke! We would love somewhere that was fully furnished (unfurnished bedrooms may be okay). We are looking for a 3 or 4 bedroom house that has lots of room and car space.
So i'll be honest straight up ... I have no idea how to sell myself on this thing. I'm 21 (22 in November) I work as a medical receptionist in Corio 3 days a week and volunteer at Geelong Hospital. I'm born and bred Geelong so I know my way around the joint. I'm currently looking for a room to rent within in Geelong for myself (Single pringle). I have previously rented alone but for the past year moved home to save money for travel (I traveled across the USA it was amazing!!!!!!!!!) I currently study online as well and am due to finish my Cert III in Business in January 2018 and I am hoping to attend Uni (fingers crossed hopefully Deakin Uni as well but at this age you can't be too picky with where you're accepted) next year studying something within Health Industry or go full-time with work should this not work out and save to travel once again. Basically i'm looking for a place I can call my own but that also comes with some cool people who are down for a chat, socialize, make new friends or watch some tv after a long day but also respect that people sometimes just need their own space. I'm described as an extroverted introvert ... I can be quiet but once you get to know me or i'm a view glasses down I can be quite crazy. I love reading, movies, tv series and my own space but am also more then happy to have the occasional crazy night out the town and dance until 3am (this is rare as i'm basically a grandma now that prefers to be asleep by 9pm with a good book and hot chocolate but I can pull it off when required promise!!!)and spend the next day hungover trying to drink Gatorade out of a bottle without lifting my head to much. Also i'm extremely clumsy and weird but I promise i'm just trying to do the best I can at this thing we call adulting. I also ramble when I get nervous as you can tell by this whole thing. But yeah I guess that's me really.
Hi all! Here is Daniel (30) and Queenie (31). We are both well-travelled, tidy, gentle and social persons. We know how to respect others privacy and always keen to meet new people and make new friends! Daniel is going to start a new research project (3 years contract) at Deakin University in November 2017. That's why we are leaving Melbourne CBD. Hope to see you soon! Daniel Queenie
Hi I'm currently trying to find somewhere to live for myself and my two year old kelpie called Henry. I'm really clean and out going! But at the moment I'm just putting the feelers out to see what options I have.
I am a science guy from the Philippines. I will be commencing my PhD studies in Engineering at Deakin University Waurn Ponds Campus, Victoria, Australia. I am looking for an available room where I can stay for several months or long term. On my spare tire, I like to go on walking tours in the city or in nearby provinces.
Hey there :) I’m looking for a place that will accommodate my dog Theo, a border collie, and myself. We have lived in share houses before and are looking for somewhere due to our lease ending. I currently attend Deaking University and am looking for somewhere long term.
I'm a full time student that also works part time. I'm very laid back and like to get outdoors so live an active lifestyle, but also enjoy the occasional night out.
I thoroughly enjoy playing sport, I play netball and basketball, I also like to go to the gym. I like a nice quiet night in watching movies and I might occasionally go out for a drink (I don't turn feral when drunk so I won't have the police escort me home), I can be quite shy to begin with but as time progresses and I get to know my housemates, I will come out of my shell. I turn 18 this November and am aiming to move to Geelong at the start of 2018 to attend University. I am currently living in Wangaratta, Victoria. Otherwise I will have a full/part time job. I am also a clean freak!
i work a part time job and am studying part time also, i work overnights which means ill leave around 10 at night and usually go straight to uni in the morning so wont be home till later in the afternoon the next day. i keep pretty busy on weekends and have Mondays off and like to stay at home on this day. Im very clean and reliable and also easy to get along with.

Hey there, We're looking for somewhere to live in Geelong for around 4-6 months before hopefully heading interstate for work. I'm a Registered Nurse working in Geelong and Lachie is just finishing up his last exams (whooo!) and works in hospitality. We are a pretty chill, social and tidy couple. I'm a pretty keen crafter and enjoy the good ol' op shop. Lach enjoys a medium rare steak and his two main loves are sport and dachshunds. We enjoy good tunes, a tv binge watch, tasty food, D&Ms and cold Bevs. We do enjoy our privacy too and will always respect yours. Hope to hear from you soon.
I work in the fitness industry, and like to keep fit and healthy myself. I go to the gym, swim, cycle, and love the outdoors! I also love to cook (and eat, obviously), socialise with friends, drink coffee/wine and race my motorbike on weekends. I am a clean and considerate housemate, who works hard but also enjoys downtime at home. I am looking to relocate to the Geelong / Surf Coast area with the intentions of buying a house of my own there in the coming years!
I am from Geelong but currently studying in Vienna, Austria. So I'm looking for a place for when I get home at the start of January. I'm a journalism student at deakin. I'm quiet but sociable, clean and reliable. I love to bake and will gladly take requests! I love animals so I don't mind pets at all.
Easy going psych student. I enjoy company with people from all backgrounds. I'm vegan and can make darn good meals. I keep fit and love a good workout. I was a military serviceman for two years, a disability assistant months after and a building drafter/graphics designer thereafter. Now, I read market behavior and trade in my own time. I'll be moving out of melbourne and down to geelong, loving it down south. I'd prefer a place near Deakin or gym, do pop a message if you're cool. Cheers
