Cody and I are just a couple of queers being peers who enjoy living together and are in the market for a different place. We like to play games (Board, Card, Video and Dice!) and read quietly by ourselves. We're firm believers in Taco Tuesday (Or Fajita Friday depending on the week) and don't mind the odd house beer/cider. We're both easy going and low maintenance flat mates, suitable for any environment. Cody loves doing dishes and I clean a mean toilet. Any questions?
Hey! Here's a bit about me, I'm 18 years old, I work full time as a dental assistant in Manuka. I'm great to live with because I always clean up after myself and I'm respectful towards others. Im originally from Bredbo, NSW, so I pretty much go there every weekend. For fun I like to go out for drinks with friends. I currently have a boyfriend and I am looking for a place where id be able to have him over some nights as well as friends occasionally.
Mature, very responsible and tidy. Current 6 month lease in Kaleen due to expire in 4 weeks. Open minded easygoing nature, enjoy watching TV and being outdoors. Enjoy company of younger people. Reside normally in WA, have 4 kids over there. Plan to return to Perth once full-time job lined up.
My partner and I are looking for someone or a couple to team up with on a lease. I am a public servant and Geordie is an apprentice plumber, Geordie is very laid back and I am a cleaner. We have a beautiful border collie x husky called Tally who is super friendly. Hoping to find a place with a backyard, 2 bathrooms and close to bus stops.
Hey, I am a 25-year-old male from Wollongong, looking for a place to live down in Canberra as I have just gotten a job in the public service. I am clean and tidy, and my curry and pulled pork skills are pretty damn fantastic. Huge fan of cricket, rugby, live music, movies, trivia, and doing absolutely nothing. I am looking for a share house (apartment/flat/treehouse) somewhere close to the city with people who are keen on having a chat, watching things, or just passing one another in the hallway with a tired hello. Love all (well most) people no matter what background, lifestyle, or sports team you follow. Please feel free to give me a message if you think you have a room that I would be keen on. Cheers.
G'day there. Easy going Aussie guy with an awesome half sized kelpie (2 yr old) billy. He grew up and lived me in a pub that I was running recently so awesome around homes and people. I'm a rugby nut, Australias first openly gay 1st grade premiership coach . Moving from perth over to ACT to be back close to family and friends and to give the Canberra lifestyle a go. Will be working in hospitality and involved in rugby so won't be around much! Usually up most mornings to take Billy for a run and try to get out and about at some other time during the day so he (and I) get plenty of exercise. Love going for a few beers/dinner or just chilling at home over a bottle of red (don't mind cooking the odd meal for my roomies if we are all home and keen to catch up every now and then as well).
I'm a fully qualified pastry chef who got a certificate and decided to try my hand in marketing 😂 I work long hours, so only really home at night. I can cook 😏 I can clean😏 I can laugh 😂 but I'm not a big party goer... need my 8 hours sleep.
I have lived on my own before, I am a very clean person with a great personality and I love to socialise but also enjoy my own space. I work with children on a full time basis and have a little black cat named pippin, I also used to be a cook so I can make wicked dinners!
I am a registered nurse at Calvary John James, have a busy lifestyle, very clean and tidy. Looking for a one bed flat, granny glat or very neat studio preferably in South Canberra or Queanbeyan.
Hi! My name is Lizzie, I'm in my early twenties and I work part time. In my spare time, I play video games and other dorky stuff. I'm looking for somewhere pet friendly with a fenced yard, as wherever I go, my little rescue girl goes too (more on her later). I also have some fish, but don't worry, they keep to themselves. I'm more than happy to live with other dogs but no cats, I'm deathly allergic. I'm a smoker, but I try to be as considerate as possible about it (I clean up after myself and I never smoke indoors or near non-smokers). While I am friendly, I'm a bit of a hermit and tend to keep to myself most of the time, although I'm happy to have a chat or lounge around watching TV occasionally. I'd prefer no more than 2 housemates because of my introverted-ness. As I mentioned, I have a dog. Her name is Leli and she's an almost-8-year-old corgi x foxie. She's very much a "people" dog and is eternally in search of tummy rubs. She's also a real clown. She's fully housetrained. As she's a rescue dog, I don't know too much about her life before she came to me, but she's quite timid around strangers, particularly men (although she's not aggressive). If you have a dog, introductions will have to be slow as she's very nervous around new dogs, but she learned pretty quickly to live in peace with my parents' dopey old cavaliers. And I work in a pet store so if you have a dog (or any small pets etc.), you get to take advantage of my sweet staff discount! So, that's it I think. Hit me up if this sounds workable! :)
House proud, quiet, easy going and respectful of others privacy and need for peaceful household. Work shift work so either not around in the morning or night and most weekends. All my own furnishing in store interstate and won't be seeking them for a while.
My name Samantha. I'm looking to share with friendly respectful, creative people such as myself. I am aiming to live in the inner suburbs of Canberra, but, I'm flexible on that. I do have 2 older and wiser house trained cats who would like to spend their days living outside in the sunshine and their nights cuddled up in bed. Much like their owner. I love to cook, as much as I like eating good food, and draw my inspiration from my travels. I'm looking for a home to settle, so I hope your room is available ? Or you are scoping to set up a place? On My Ultimate wish list is a lock up garage : ) Please Text me if you have a room. P.s I'm open to negotiations on price, however I have a budget that ranges, relative to storage availability. My options are : Either Shared housing with lock up storage garage. Or setting up a place with someone. In the latter case I won't need a lock up garage. - I have lots of furniture in storage that can be pulled out to set up a place. Kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery... the lot!! If anyone is interested in setting up a place with me? - I have lived with housemates in share house before and am house trained and Domesticated. Not interested in party houses or drugs at all. - Happy to share cooking on alternate nights ... or not . Pretty easygoing as busy lifestyle often dictates decisions on the fly. - About to start studying part time and work casually. I'm Seeking to share with someone who is open to the world, good humoured and doesn't mind the odd night watching TV or Movies. -
I'm currently working full-time and will also be starting study at uni in august. So will most likely won't spend a lot of time at home. I'm very friendly and easy going and am always up for a chat. I also like to keep things tidy and clean up after myself. I've recently moved back home after my lease at another place ended and am now looking for another place.
I am a 36-year-old IT professional who is looking to change things up in Canberra. Keen to explore shared housing options so looking to try something new and most importantly downsize my lifestyle :) I usually go back to Sydney on the weekends so chances are I will be well out of the way :) My other interests are music, traveling and good food!
Hi, I'm a female in my early 20's who want to move closer into town. I currently live on a property out of town. I work full time as a school provisional psychologist. I have a little dog called 'Jatz' that will come with me, I would like him to be inside when I am there. I am pretty easy going, clean and happy to be social or on my own. I have lived in share houses for the last 5 years, so know what it is all about. I moved to Canberra at the start of last year from North Queensland for work. Not looking for a place until July but would be great to have something organised by then.
We love to keep our spaces clean and if you choose to team up with us, you will be coming back to a clean and fresh common space everyday. Basic hygiene will be well taken care of. You might even be in for home cooked food (baked, grilled and steamed) and the occasional pan-fried. Socially, we can be both self-contained and sociable, depending on your preference. I am into social sector and will be actively volunteering in Canberra. David has a background in writing, IT and policy and will be reentering the Australia workforce.
