Hi! I am an Italian postgraduate student and I will be staying in Canberra for few months working on an internship programme at ANU. I already live alone in Italy, and I keep my room and common spaces tidy and clean. I am quiet and respectful, but also like having good time with friends and getting to know the Australian way of life.
I’m currently studying at UC in my second year and also work as a causal. I enjoy socialising but also enjoy time by myself. I have previously lived with flat mates for the last two years and I’m a very tidy person :)
Clean. Outgoing personality. I love music...but can't play any instruments. Always at work so you will hardly see me. I'm a hairdresser..and also a 24/7 ARMY...you will find out what that is if I end up living with you. That's me. Nice to meet you.
ANU postgraduate student. Tidy, open-minded, responsible, relaxed, occasionally plays musical instruments alone silently so not to disturb anybody. Looking for a place to stay for 4 months preferably close to ANU or close to buses route number 7 or 3
hey guys, I'm from country WA and will be moving to Canberra soon to start a career as a paramedic intern. I've lived in share houses for the last 5 years so i know how to keep my area (and the rest of the place) clean and respect others privacy. as a housemate, I'm a pretty relaxed and flexible guy who enjoys catching up on the days events with housemates and going on the occasional adventure on weekends. I'm also partial to a beer or two with housemates but not huge on house parties these days. In my spare time I like to keep active, be it AFL, tennis, cycling or surfing one of my SUPs and i'm always happy to have others join in. it does mean that i have a bit of gear to store so a garage or shed at the house would be preferable. just as an FYI: I will be working a shift roster which will mean some night shifts that will require sleep during the day. so a place that's quiet during the day would be awesome. hopefully some of this has grabbed your interest and i look forward to moving to Canberra soon!
Hi! I'm a first-year PhB student at ANU trying to do Mathematics. I come from Singapore though ethnically I'm half Japanese and half Australian. I enjoy washing dishes while listening to loud angry people shout music into my ears. I typically keep to myself but I do enjoy engaging conversations. Other than that I come with a PS4 Pro, a Switch, a variety of handheld consoles, and a Wii U loaded with Smash if that's your thing.
My names Mitch and I work in retail full time whilst studying IT Cert III part-time. Work takes up a lot of my time and what other time I have I leave to study but whatever I can squeeze in for myself I tend to go out and go on motorbike events on Fridays perhaps go to the movies with friends or just some down time for myself. I am genuinely a friendly person respectful and clean always considerate of others and their privacy. I’m looking for 1 or 2 others to move in with the same aspects neat and tidy/respectful a household with a (good/stable) internet connection 20 Mbs download speed minimum.
Hi I'm Josh. I like international cinema (Pan's Labyrinth is amazing), black coffee, I'm quiet and I'm vegan (if you're not that's fine too). I'm 23, I've just moved from Newcastle and I'm studying a B. Economics at the ANU. The occasional dinner/film with housemates would be fun, though I respect privacy and space. I like to keep a clean and organised living space and would be happy to share chores. Before now I studied different humanities part-time in Newcastle. I can move anytime from now until early March.
I am a 27 year old PhD student at ANU (just commencing in February). I also have my own small online business where I sell jewellery that I make. I enjoy listening to music, art, and watching weird documentaries. I am originally from Adelaide, but have been living in Canberra for two years now. I consider myself to be a considerate, kind, friendly and organised housemate (I've lived in 3 share-houses before). I'm easy to get along with and always think of others first. I would enjoy catching up with housemates over a cup of tea, a wine/beer or a shared dinner whenever that suits! Move in date is flexible as I have existing accommodation, but hoping to find somewhere that is close (walking/cycling distance) to the ANU in the inner north.
Hello, I am a ANU full-time master student and I am a girl. I like chat with people, although my English is not very good. I am also respect others’ privacy, so don’t worry and I will be nice! I prefer leave with female(who is tidy and clean). I don’t want to live with a male in a only 2 bedrooms house/flat. The max price I can accept is 240pm (include utilities). Furnituresd is better, but unfurnitured is acceptable. If you have a suitable room for me, please feel free to contact me!
I am a youthful 55yrs post-surgery Transgender person who is very easy going. I'm currently at University of Canberra studying Bch Of Public Health. I am mostly seeking to start a new share property, so anyone willing to move into 'fresh' accommodation with me would be ideal! Just 2-3 people including me would be preferable. You would need to be willing to sign-up to a joint lease with all tenants. I can basically furnish a large home if necessary. However I don't have a dining suite or a lounge suite. * Kitchen = very large twin door fridge, microwave and just about every cooking item you could want! * Living = large timber pieces including wall units, bookcase, hallway table and entertainment unit (for television, etc). * Laundry = front loading washing machine, ironing board, etc. * Outside = lawn mower, whipper snipper, water hose, etc. The selfish bit! I have a seven piece bedroom suite, so i'd be requiring the largest bedroom in a property. I also have a study desk in my bedroom where i'm currently living. (I've kinda got used to this set-up!) I have an existing NBN Internet contract with unlimited data and a 100mb speed connection. If I/we can source a new property in an existing NBN suburb, I can transfer the service to that location. Although I can wait until June 30, I am hoping to find a new place to live anytime from late March onwards. My share of any rent would be $210 per week maximum (I am a Uni student after all.) I'd prefer a property that is in very good condition (I currently live in a 'dump') and located on the North side of Canberra - ideally within reasonable travel distance to the University of Canberra. But i'm flexible for the 'right' property. I think of home as a relaxing place to escape the 'noise' of our busy and stressful lives. So anyone who wants to live in a comfortable, quiet home environment, i'd like to hear from you! Having said that, friends dropping by is a good thing! I like to cook a dinner for my friends every so often and i'd be more than happy for my housemates to join in. That's it !!! Hit me up if you're interested in joining forces to find a new home!
I’m a full-time Law and Commerce student at UC working part-time as a Paralegal in Deakin. Looking predominantly to start or move in to a share-house with people of a similar age. I have lived in shared student accommodation for 12 months so I understand personal space and how to 'share'!
I'm an easy-going, tidy and respectful person looking for a place to live in Canberra for at least six month from late March. I love cooking for my friends and housemates and actually enjoy cleaning and doing the dishes. I'm active and out-going, and like to go bush-walking or to the coast at weekends. I read a lot, work as a journalist full-time, and love doing yoga when I get the time. I'm a social person but I'm not in the habit of making noise around the house. Looking for friendly, caring people who like to share the odd meal or cuppa or beer now and then. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Originally from Adelaide, looking for a place to live while I do complete my degree at ANU. Currently unemployed but I do have Centrelink and am relatively good with money so I’d never be late with rent. I’m a pretty basic white girl cook, but I also always clean up after myself. Love animals, can get along with anyone.
I am an exchange student from Poland studying Law and Music at ANU. Next to it, I started my own business - organisation with other students. I also produce music as my hobby. I am a busy but easy-going person who can always find a time for chat or some chill.
I'm a 24yo student moving to Canberra from Sydney to start a Masters of International Relations at ANU. I'm a respectful, friendly and clean person who respects the privacy of those I'm living with. I am interested in the room and can move in Monday 19th, I also have my own bed I'm moving down from Syd. Please let me know if you are interested!
I'm about to start working full time in heritage. I've just left a great share house with my friends in Canberra thinking I was moving to another city, but landed a job here! Love living with other people, and I'm up for having a chat and some wine with my housemates. I keep my place tidy and am easy going. I'm looking for a cool place for six months before I'm off to Glasgow for a Masters.
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working in the public service. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. I have a 2 year old swiss shepherd that I would like to bring with me too (if not, she has a home with a family member), shes house trained, and very loving. I'm well beyond my days as a partier but still enjoy a social beer or a bbq with housemates. I also study part time, so I'm pretty quiet during the week and out and about or riding my motorcycle on weekends. Look forward to hearing from you!

Hi there! I'm a triathlete who lives an active lifestyle while being very neat and organized. I always clean up after myself and I am quiet most of the times. I don't smoke and added to this, I always follow all the house rules and would only use the necessary areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Aside from going to work (I work as an Early Childhood Educator - and yes I can babysit if needed), I'm usually out on training either swimming, cycling, running or working out at the gym so I prefer to be located close to any of these facilities. Also, I would thrive well in a modern establishment with respectful, quiet and tidy housemates. Utilities/Facilities that I'm looking for: -Shops and groceries like Coles -Nearby gym and swimming pool -Reverse cycle aircon -Washing Machine and Dryer for clothes -NBN internet that can play YouTube videos in HD without delay (I used to live at a flatshare where it takes 5-10 mins to open my e-mails sometimes disconnecting in between and that was not fun at all) -Storage space for my 2 bikes - 1 road bike used for commuting and the other for training -I have a car but offstreet parking is okay for me. -A small yard or area with access to tap water to wash my bikes (optional) -Unused spare room or garage space (optional): Will primarily use this as a study/gaming/training room for my Ironman races that I'll be participating in months to come so expect me to be in this room most of the time. If you wish to contact me, please send me a message with a detailed info of the following: - Yourself - Flatmates - Room - PHOTOS - Viewing times - House rules And oh, I'm seeking for a home that has NO pets in it (unless its just Goldfish then its all good). Let me know if my profile suits your home. Cheers.
I am a very bubbly person who enjoys quiet time or I can also be the life of the party, I am looking for somewhere where I can study and is close to Australian Catholic University. I am a very neat and tidy person, I can try cook, enjoy share meals and am a non smoker, would like a place where I can study in peace and friendly flatmates. I am looking for short term accommodation as well as long term to help me start university until finding a more permanent accommodation.
I moved to Canberra in 2011 and have been working for the APS ever since. I've bought a place here so I'm looking to rent until I move into it in August 2019. I'm an awesome housemate because I can keep to myself and get involved with the house. I'm housebroken and have lived in share houses previously.
