I am currently looking for a 1-2 BHK flats for myself and my husband. I have been living in a shared accomodation from july 2016 onwards. Would be moving into the new place in February, 2017.
Hi there! I recently moved back to Sydney and looking for a long term stay. I'm Dutch have a PR status and work full time for this awesome marketing and communication company. During the week I'm pretty serious, F45 and watching TV series. I try to live the Aussie lifestyle cause that's just the way you wanna live! In the weekend I usually go out with friends or trying to explore new bars and restaurants. I have lots of passion for music, particular in the tech/house scene and sports. There are couple of festivals that I would like to visit as well. I'm looking for an en-suite room and a flat mate who is easy to hang out with. I'm tidy and clean but not a cleaning freak. I don't smoke sigarettes but I do come from Holland where we have an open mind about a few things.. I rather be upfront about my interest and what I do. You will have a great time with me. You will piss yourself laughing with me and you will have a great company to be around with! Speak soon. Kevin
My name is Xavier, and I'm a full-time researcher at Macquarie uni. I'm a social dude, but not looking for a party house. I'm always keen for a chat and a bevvie after work. Looking for a nice modern tidy place with some good quality housemates.
I'm Tasha, I'm 26 years old and I'm new to Sydney from London. I work in an advertising agency and have pretty standard working hours. I love to be out and about, but also appreciate a night in with a movie. I like to keep active as I love going out to eat and enjoy cooking.
Looking for a furnished room from (ideally, but flexible) 15 Dec till 20 March 2017. I'm very neat, fully employed, and like a good chat and a cup of tea. I work full-time in my own VFX business in Erko.
You just found your perfect house mate! Hi my name is Ollie. I'm 48 Irish and divorced. I have a beautiful 9 year old girl and 6 year old boy. They live with their mum in Newcastle. I would need to be able to have them stay in my room Friday and Saturday night every second weekend and some times during school holidays. I just thought I'd get that out of the way first but if that's cool with you please read on... I have lived with my amazing female flat mate for the last 18 months but sadly its time for her boyfriend to move in and me to move on. She is more than happy to let you know what I'm like to live with. In an ideal world I would really like to find another divorced dad in the same position as I am to share and have our kids there now and again. I am still very open to consider a single mum in the same position too. I am a full time professional employed in a position of high trust so very good to have living with you. I'm very neat and tidy but not anal. I have a bit of spare time so happy to take charge of the house work, laundry, cleaning etc if you are time poor. I'm not the worst cook either! I understand the concept of courtesy and consideration when it comes to sharing with another person. I understand when its good to have a chat and also to give space. I'm very social and am out a lot of the time and very rarely watch TV so no couch potato here!! Also I am very, very handy and have a large amount of tools and experience so if you have a place that needs repairs I'm sure we can come to some arrangement. This might also suit an elderly person who's not up to all the chores they once were and would like to have someone living with them for help and a bit of security. I'm pretty much open to all living scenarios but would like to stay living on the north side of the Harbour Bridge close to North Sydney but not a deal breaker. So if any of this sounds appealing to you please get in contact and we can talk about possibilities. Ollie

I like animals, I'm LGBT, don't mind a bit of banter and chillin'. I'm happy with quiet homes or entertainment houses, so long as my stuff gets respected the way I respect yours!

Hey guys, I need to move to Waterloo/ Zetland or somewhere near due to a location change of my job. it will be so inconvenient for me to stay where I am now (which is Epping). I am friendly, bubbly , easy-going and well-organized. Hope to find a place where roommates are nice, friendly and tidy. I'm also willing to team up with someone to take an apartment together :)
I am really friendly, easy to live with, I do not drink much and never smoke and you will not have to worry about me throwing noisy parties in the weekend causing you to lose sleep. I am a really busy active girl,am probably not home too much before nighttime. Fitness and health is my passion. I can always offer an advice or two about diet, supplement, nutrition and fitness ;) I am totally pet friendly,if u have pets it is cool :) I particularly love dogs and they generally love me back ;)
I'm an international student from Singapore, looking for a place near Sydney Nursing School where I'll be doing a full time Masters course starting March 2017. I'm an international student from Malaysia, moving from Adelaide to Sydney next year. I will be taking postgrad in architecture in USyd. I'm an easygoing and considerate housemate. I'm finding a private room in a shared unit with friendly housemates who will also respect my privacy and take effort to keep the common area clean. Moving date is flexible, anytime in December is fine. Prefer places within walking distance (30mins) to Usyd as my course requires access to uni facilities quite often. I do not own a pet in Australia but I don't mind them being around.
Hi! I'm an English girl looking for a room with social and respectful flatmates. I'm really easy-going and enjoy a good night out just as much as a night in with a good film, glass of wine and pizza. I'm a very liberal person and get along with just about everyone. I'm an animal lover, aspiring writer and adventure seeker. With my current room let up at the end of December, I'm looking for somewhere cosy and tidy, with friendly people to spend the next few months before I go travelling in March. I look forward to hearing from you :)

Hi Guys! We are easy going and relaxed students from Germany. The both of us are staying in Sydney for a fulltime 9-5 internship. Andy is working in the area of Surry Hills and me near Hyde Park. We enjoy a sporty and healthy lifestyle, have a great sense of humour and like to enjoy some drinks and shared dinner/BBQ in a relaxed atmosphere with our new flatties. In addition, we are very reliable and tidy flatmates. Furthermore, we have several years of flatshare experience and enjoyed it! By the way, we are not one of the newly in love couples, so we don't always want to be on our own - we love to socialize. We are searching for a place up to the end of April (but we would also consider a shorter stay). We look forward to meeting you guys soon! Don't hesitate to drop us a message :) Cheers Kathy&Andy
Hey guys and girls, I'm looking for a place close to Virgin Active- a bit of a stretch so I would also consider anywhere else with hot water and good coffee within a 500m radius (also, probably pushing it). I love dogs, brunch and online shopping but never buying anything. I am a bit of a tomboy so bonus is I spend minimal time in the bathroom and I can fix stuff (no guarantee it won't fall apart again). I work full time and study part time so I'm rarely home and when I am I'm fairly quiet and usually studying, sleeping or cooking. I generally like to live an active and healthy lifestyle but also.. burgers. I only drink water, wine or coffee. I'm quiet and get up super early during the week but 9/10 times Í'm down to let loose come Friday. I am pretty clean and tidy, always down for a good chat - unless it's exam time- please don't talk to me unless it's to ask if I want food or caffeine. I'm well sharehouse trained and mindful of others' privacy and downtime. Get in touch so we can get to know each other a little better and see if we might be a good fit :)
I am 26 yo, male, Indonesian and I enjoy music, photography and sports during my leisure time. I am planning to move in to Sydney by February for my postgraduate study in the University of Sydney . I generally like having quiet nights, watching Netflix etc, although I can also be very sociable with the people I'm around. It would be great to live with people I could potentially become friends with. I'm going to be working full time in urban planning, so feel free to rant to me about how much you hate Sydney transport. I love to cook and experiment with different cuisines and I'm pretty particular about cleanliness too.
I'm originally from Sydney, I'm clean and a good cleaner. I currently work nights so I'm not there most nights and during the day I sleep when I can. but when I'm not working I like hanging out with my friends and Having a laugh. I'm really easy going but in some sense I can be quite private. I'm honest and trust worthy I'd also say I'm very black and white wat u see is wat u get. So I guess u can say I'm not looking to move in with a family or someone that has children And I'd prefer no couples either or pets
I am going to do my Mater degree of law in the University of Sydney , I am a easy-going person and I like reading, listening to music, watching movies, travelling. I am a non-smoker. Lloyd and I have been living in Erskineville since January 2016 after moving from Melbourne. I am a vet nurse and Lloyd an electronic engineer. I'm easygoing, and looking for flatmates who are also easygoing. Hoping to make some new friends, as well as find a new home :) I'm flexible with rent, moving in dates and how long I can stay. Really just want to find a house with cool people who I enjoy living with, and after that the rest is all negotiable. I do smoke, but would see it as motivation to quit if it's a deal breaker...

I respect others cultures, beliefs and of course privacy! Don't be fooled by my age, I will pay rent on time and pick up my chores, no worries :) Peace & God bless!
I'm an open-minded, curious and optimistic young Belgian woman. I believe that there's something to learn from everyone of us, and that is why I love to meet new, inspiring people and engage in good conversation. I love vegetarian cooking and trying out new recipes, long sunny walks, practicing yoga, drinking wine, going to musea, playing with animals (and by preference the small cuddly ones), photography, watching funny cat videos and also documentaries. A clean, tidy & humorous flatmate that knows her way around the kitchen.... What more do you need?! ;)

Hey! I’m Matt, a 20 year old student moving to Sydney from Perth in February next year. I’ll be studying the JD at USyd, so am hoping to find a place to call home near uni. I’m an open and friendly person, who loves hanging out, whether enjoying the night in with roommates/ friends or a night out. I’m hoping to find active roommates who like to spend time together to chat, cook, play games, watch movies or anything :) I love travelling, so will definitely be doing lots of day trips to explore around Sydney. I’m also a clean and organised person, so you won’t need to worry about finding my clothes all around the house or dishes on the couch ;) Apartment/house wise, I’m after a private room (furnished or non furnished works), ideally within 15 min from USyd. If anyone is interested in getting together to make our own apartment, hit me up too :P Hope to hear from you :)
My name is Emy and I'm from England and just turned 30. I work as a portrait photographer in and around Sydney and have spent some time this year traveling the country in my van & seeing lots of cool places. I am on a working holiday visa but will be changing visas next year to be able to stay in the country for longer. My boyfriend is called Michael and he's 28 and is Australian (from Dubbo originally). He works full time as a video editor for a wedding video company. He's lived in Sydney for a while and studied film here. He also works on short film for film festivals in-between his editing job. We don't smoke and I don't drink (just really don't like the taste!). Michael only drinks a little bit. We are both into eating good food and like to cook (always wash up after we have eaten!) After work we tend to cook food and chill out with netflix, or go out for dinner or cinema. We both try to keep fit and I regually go to fitness classes in the city. On days off from work we catch up on sleep, socialise and take trips out to the beach or shops. We are both pretty chilled out and don't like drama so are looking for a friendly and chilled out place to live. I'm pretty chatty where as Michael is quite shy so it takes him a while to get chatty with new people! But we are both super friendly and positive people who are clean, tidy and respectful of other people. We totally respect other peoples space and privacy and are looking for the same whilst also being able to hang out with our future flatmates if they want to. We don't have an ideal set amount of time that we would like to live in Sydney so I wrote down 4 months but it's rough! This is because we plan to travel at some point next year but we need to spend some time to work hard and save up for it and we don't know how long it will take! So a flexible lease agreement would be ideal for this reason. Our ideal place would be within a 10 minute walk to the train station and walking distance to supermarkets. Own bathroom and outdoor space like a balcony or garden would be a major plus but not essential. And an apartment that comes with gym facilities or is near to a gym would be even more awesome.
Hello I am Josto, Italian, 30 years old. I am very easy going and humorous, like to laugh and bring a smile whenever I can. I have travelled and studied in China, England, US, Thailand, Laos, and I am currently doing a PhD in Cultural Studies at the University of Sydney. I play a bit of piano and love watching movies, but also being up to date to events around the city and organizing fun activities (bbq, foosball tournaments, snorkelling, hiking, reading groups, etc.) I am very respectful of privacy, but I also like to have chats with good cup of tea or a glass of wine.
I come to Sydney to study English. I'm brasilian from Porto Alegre city. I'm an architect and my priority is the study. I like travel, run and swiming and read. I like the house with organization. I'm easygoing. Pedro.
We're two friends looking for an apartment in the city, so we can stay close to our school. We are friendly, fun, very organized and we like to live in clean homes. My friend is swedish and I'm brazilian. We love to go to the beach, all kind of sports and also to stay home with some friends.
I am totally cool with GLBT people, but they don't have an ally option, which sucks. I am really into having my own room. It is nice to have a space to decompress. I like clean people who work hard during the week, and party accordingly during the weekend. I am a bit nerdy, and sometimes a bit antisocial, but I love hanging out with new friends, and chilling after work. Just an American girl looking for a family in Australia.
I'm a 25 year old professional female, working full time as a Strategy Analyst. Monday to Friday I split my time between work, gym and the odd social engagement. I usually work relatively long hours (anything between 8am to 7pm) so I'd love to come back to an awesome flatmate! Someone who can respect my quite time but also be around for the occasional vent - happy to do the same in return. My weekends vary, anything from a weekend in watching tv and catching up on study, to weekends where I'm a bit more social. I'm not the best cook so I'm hoping to find a flatmate who loves to cook! So I can learn a thing or two ! I'm quite clean and organised and would prefer to live with someone who likes to keep their living space the same :) I'm hoping to find a room with a private bathroom or ensuite and would prefer if the room wasn't completely unfurnished.
Dear Sir or Madam, Nice to meet you. My name is Xiao Sheng. I am from China and will study in the University of Sydney in the next two years, majoring in the Master of Professional Accounting. I am quiet, kind, polite and have rich experience in living abroad. In 2014, I stayed in Madrid, Spain for 4 months as an exchange student and got along very well with the local host family. Besides, I have booked rooms on Airbnb for 5 times and have received pretty good comments from hosts in France, Belgium, Japan and so on. I believe that I can be a well behaved tenant or flatmate. I don't have bad habits like excessive drinking or smoking. I personally love reading and will spend most of time on my school work. Sometimes I like playing guitar, but I would obey the rules if you think it is noisy. I can cook some simple Chinese foods and am willing to share it if you like. I will keep my room tidy and clean. Thank you for reading this brief introduction! Hope that we can have good time in Sydney. Best regards, Xiao Sheng 2016/12/06
Hello future housemates, female in my late twenties post-student, easy going, tidy and caring human being. My routine is usually weekdays at Uni and during evenings always up for a chat to relax and get ready for the next day. I like to spend my weekends away from the weekly routine, random but nothing crazy. I have been living in shared houses for a while so I am absolutely aware of the meaning "clean up after yourself ". I am looking for "The right place" somewhere I can call Home, surrounded by nice and fun ppl. I am available to move mid December and willing to commit for long term. Let me know if you are interested!
Hi I'm a student at Sydney Uni and am after a room within walking distance to uni. Would love to live with other students or people of similar age to me. I'm friendly, easy-going and respectful of others. Move in date is flexible and can move in anytime from the start of February.
We are relocating to the Inner West and with the help of this site secured temporary accommodation till March 2017. At which time we are seeking to secure an ongoing lease. We are mature professionals and rather than utilise the most common platform for leasing a property our preference would be to secure a property through like minded people/couple whom value honesty and integrity and are looking for peace of mind that their investment will be treated with the utmost respect and expenses relating to the property are paid on time. We make excellent tenants and will provide references and a copy of our previous rental ledger. In return we ask for a landlord whom is mutually respectful and views good tenants as being part of a good property investment therefore is proactive in their duties as landlord. Our children are all grown up and following their careers, so with the suburban home an element of the past and continuing to live in the present moment we have chosen to experience the city life. We enjoy fine wine, dining, cafe socialising and those delicious treats from La Bannette Patisserie in Glebe. We enjoy a good live band, nite clubbing, when the mood takes us and recently partied away with the Vengaboys at Luna Park and can't forget those relaxing Sunday afternoon sessions. If we are what you have been searching for in a tenant and you are what we are seeking in a landlord then we have the beginning of a great relationship.
We are two easy-going, non party animals from Spain. We have lived in different flats , different countries with various kind of people and we have never had a problem as we are considerate and respect others.
30 something, house proud creative with a penchant for art, cooking, wine, gardening (I have accumulated quite a few pot plants). Animal lover and vegetarian, and try to live as green as I can. I work full time and love to ride my motorcycle. I'm a passionate photographer who loves getting into anything creative. Looking for a home rather than just a share house, love a good political discussion with fun loving, caring, respectful people. Plus I have a super cool cat, Reuben the Persian.
Hi! I've just returned from doing my 2 years in the UK, followed by a short stint working in the UAE, and am now making the move from Brisbane to Sydney to complete a masters at USyd. Looking to move anytime between the end of November and the end of February (next year). I'm looking for an affordable place, with good public transport links. More importantly, I'm looking for some friendly housemates - people who are keen to hang out socially every now and then, not just a house where we're constantly ghosting each other 😁. I'm an easygoing, friendly, clean, and straightforward housemate. I love cooking, eating, binge watching TV (the same as pretty much everyone else), live music, and pub quizzes!
