Hi I'm Abeer, I'm an MBA student at Macquerie University. Have been in Sydney for a bit more than a year enjoying all the sights & adventures the city has to offer :). I'm quite easygoing, neat, considerate (in terms of flatmates & noise), a foodie who loves trying out new cuisines, and enjoy meeting new people and building connections. I am fond of Newtown and the nearby suburbs, where I am looking to settle down for at least the next 6 months.
In desperate need of a bug-free place. One-bedroom apartment/standalone/no roommates. I get that this is *flatmates* and I am concentrating my efforts on real estate sites, but I figured it was worth also listing on here just in case. Highlights: * Move in: ASAP * Area surrounding CBD. Hopefully no more west or south than Newtown, no more north than Crows Nest - 20 minutes or less via train to central * I have my own furniture but honestly don't know how to move it, so furnished, unfurnished, or flexible furnishings is a-okay * Needs complete, real kitchen. No kitchenettes. Also need complete separation between kitchen and bedroom, no open plan * Preference to NOT being on ground level * Again, budget of 500/week I'm Sarah, a recent graduate from a university in New York where I studied microbiology, but I'm from the midwest of America. I studied a semester abroad here last year which further confirmed my desire to leave America for the good ol land of Oz. I'm on the tail end of a work and holiday visa, but already have a student visa lined up and fully approved. I'm looking for a clean place. Please. I've been traumatized by this place. Misled. Hoodwinked. I thought this place was great. It's horrible. There is a terrible cockroach infestation. And then there's a giant crack in the front entrance between the door and actual floorboards. So tons of those big cockroaches creep in and go straight to my room. Oh did I mention that the guy in the room next to me is basically a hoarder? Yeah. I would love a place with hard wood floors instead of carpet, but it's not always a deal breaker. A place walking distance to a train station, but not too close, is also ideal. Or a short bus ride away from central. Basically I just want easy public transit to CBD. Please help me. I'm about to rip my hair out. I'm a clean, quiet girl, who likes to avoid issues. Don't con me into a bug-infested place. :(
Looking for a furnished private room/place to move into ASAP for at least 4-6 months with the possibility of extending. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. LGTBQI friendly, animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station. Born in Australia but moved away and having been living abroad in Hong Kong and New Zealand up until 2015. I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Traits I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise and privacy and just being generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a penthouse apartment in a hotel, flatting with singles and couples (straight & gay) and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
I'm an Australian that has just got back from traveling around the world for two years and now I'm studying film full time in the city. I have been living in Berlin for the past year and love being around creative easy going people. I'm a go with the flow person that enjoys my own space to recharge however I naturally want to get to know the people that I live with to create a beautiful home. At home I enjoy cooking, cleaning, relaxing and being creative. I'm usually making something or out and about enjoying the world. I practice yoga, meditation and have a clean lifestyle with no drugs. I can provide a reference from my last flat mate. At the stage I'm looking for a place till December with the possibility of extending.
Hi, I will be coming back to Sydney on the 11th May 2017, I have previously lived in sydney for four months. In this time I stayed in hostels and in a shared flat with 11 people. I'm looking for something that I can call home and a private room of its own. I will be working in the financial industry so will be out of the property during normal working hours. I'm looking for a house which has some nice housemates that I can chat with and go on fun adventures - maybe share a bottle of wine 😉 - but not a constant party flat. If you think you have something which matches what I'd like send me a message :) I land on the 11th of willing to do inspections when I land! Thanks, Ashley

Hello! Me and my bf Dan are looking for a nice share house to join. We are social, friendly, positive people who enjoy sharing life with others. Dan is a builder and works on the coast most weeks, so will be away for half of most weeks. I just got back from 10 years OS and am looking forward to making new friends (but also already have a strong network here). We're looking for a a place which is homey, and filled with like/open-minded, sociable people.

Hi! I am a French graduate student in computer science, and I will do a research internship in Sydney from mid-April to mid-August. I am a serious, hard-worker and calm person with many hobbies including taking photos, drawing and playing the piano. I would love to spend my 4 months in Sydney with some other students or young people of my age, and I intend to take advantage of my free time there to discover the city and possibly the country.
hey guys, Pretty chilled guy currently living in Camden with my 2 puppies (shih tzu/ Maltese) I work in finance so pretty busy during the week, during the weekend I do my own thing otherwise I chill with my family and go out sometimes. Looking to move to Wentworth point in June as that is when my lease ends and because it's closer to work. If you're keen on teaming up let me know :)
Hi, I'm moving back to Sydney after several years away in rural and regional NSW. I loved living at the beach on the Central Coast, and so would love to stay at the beach now that I'll be working at POW hospital. My interests include delicious food and drink, running (this is new, and am uncertain of the longevity of this new hobby), reading, yoga, pottery and hiking. I'm going to be working Mon-Fri mostly with occasional bouts of shift work, and also studying for professional exams early next year. I guess this means I will spend time holed up in my room studying (or looking at the internet and berating myself), BUT I am a sociable person who enjoys company, wine and general procrastination. I have lived in some wonderful share houses where I have made lifelong friends, and I have lived in horrible crumbling houses with fantastic people, and I have lived with some complete nutters, which I do not wish to repeat. I have a long term partner who lives interstate, and we will hopefully occasionally visit each other from time to time (current frequency - once in three months). He bakes his own sourdough! We are low key and unobtrusive people. I wish to stay somewhere long term, with housemates who will be friends, with people who love cleanliness, and will understand my need for study time and occasionally sleeping during the day. I am LGBT+ friendly, I do not smoke, and I want to walk, ride or catch public transport to work. I will be moving on the weekend of 6/7 May but flexible with this date, and am unfortunately in Lismore until then, although I may try to arrange a flight down to check out some places on a weekend prior. (please excuse the mugshot - this is my old gym membership picture!)
Hi future flatmate(s)! I’m Marie. I just arrived in Sydney on last week and it’s my first time in Australia, so It’s all new to me. I’m French, I’m 23 and I’ve just finished my studies. I came to Sydney for a year to work full time as a cost controller. So basically, I’m looking for a flatshare to stay for all the duration of my contract here, and not too far from North Sydney (where I work). That said, it is also very important for me to create a new life and feel at home. I already know some super friendly French people here but I’d like to meet new people (or what’s the point of being so far from home 😉 ) Aside from that I’m super clean and tidy 😉 (well.. I also have my little moments of laziness sometimes, but it stays in my room). Like to go out, love cinema and music (not necessarily in that order). I can speak Spanish (some latinos in the flat?) See you soon. Marie
I am from Ireland (Dublin) and I am living in Sydney working in Finance full-time in the CBD. I am on a sponsorship visa and plan to be in Sydney for the foreseeable future so I am looking for a place that is more a home than a short stay. I am a clean, respectful and considerate flatmate. I do enjoy having a few drinks at the weekend but equally love a chilled night in with good food! My hobbies include fitness, yoga and hanging out at the beach.
