Hi guys, I'm Daniel a 22 year old Kiwi, now living here in Sydney. I have a 9-5 job in Parramatta, so I'm hoping to find somewhere that is walkable to a Western line train station! For me it would be great to find somewhere I can stay for at least a number of months, hopefully you won't be sick of me in such a short time! I'm not looking for a party house, and will respect your personal space, although I'd be quite happy sharing a casual beer or a movie too. In my spare time I love to head out cycling and also enjoy some casual gaming, and I'm hoping to explore plenty more of what Sydney has to offer.
An easy-going male who moonlights between the corporate and cooking worlds. If I'm not in front of a computer I'm making chutneys and selling them at farmers markets. Love a chat and some wine and very clean too (working in restaurant kitchens keeps you that way).
My name is Weijian (Jan or VJ are fine). I came from China for college in 2013 and am now doing a PhD in linguistics at USyd. I work on a language community in an isolated valley of Laos, and because of that, I've been traveling to pretty remote places–that's some stories to share! 80s metal always floats my boat, I love coffee (because who wouldn't), and do a bit of documentary photography. I'll take your privacy seriously and stay quiet at night, and if you do the same to me we're gonna make great flatmates. It's a bonus if you're studying at Uni, too.
Hi! I'm from the Parramatta area and looking for a place closer to my work in Newtown. I'm super friendly and easy going, and very clean. I love hiking, exploring new areas and finding amazing food spots. I'm also currently studying graphic design at Western Sydney Uni.
Super chill, clean and easy to live with. Currently work part-time in retail and fashion and commuting from the Central Coast to do so. I enjoy cooking, jogging, yoga, going to the gym and generally keeping active and healthy. Of course, I enjoy a fun night out occasionally, but am not a 'party animal'. Looking for a house with great vibes, friendly and social housemates but also privacy. Please be in touch if this sounds like you!
Hi I’m Rowan, I am pre-empting a move back to Sydney for work as an Environmental Consultant, and am looking to rent a place or team up with like minded people. I am well versed in share house living, both in Sydney and abroad, so I respect your need for privacy and peace & quiet. I’m quite social and down to earth. I have a passion in photography and music as well as the environment and sustainability. I’m usually out and about on weekends, exploring or surfing down the coast, or just simply about and about. I’d be keen on sharing a meal or 2 during the week, an after work drink or the occasional dinner party on weekends. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to know more, cheers.
Hi everyone, I'm Nicolai. I will be spending this year teaching German at Macquarie University and am looking for a place somewhere reasonably close to the campus. As this is my first time in Australia, I'm very excited to get to know the country and its people. More than anything, I love music and learning foreign languages (mainly Chinese for the past few years). Other than that, I also enjoy movies, hiking/cycling and literature. As I've said, I'm new to Australia, so I will probably spend much of my free time exploring Sydney and its surroundings. As far as the living situation is concerned, I like a friendly and relaxed atmosphere at home. While I enjoy a certain amount of privacy at home, I would love to have flatmates who are open to do stuff together from time to time, like cooking, watching a movie or going out for a drink. I've been living in shared flats for most of my twenties and I think I make a pretty decent flatmate as I'm tidy, considerate and always try to be respectful of others. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I work full-time as a copywriter at an appliance retailer but, despite the trappings of office walls, I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. I currently live in Balmain with two housemates but, because it's such a small house, cabin fever is starting to set in. Get in touch if you'd like to team up to look for a place, or if you have a vacancy and think I'd make a good fit. :)
Hi there :) I'm a small town girl who's fallen in love with the big city life and I'm looking for somewhere to live long term. Unfurnished room is required as I have my gear I'd like to hang onto. I'm quite an active person who loves the outdoors, especially hiking and camping! I'm honest and respectful, cleaning up after myself, keeping the noise down and always paying my bills on time. I'm passionate about health and I love to cook when I'm home. On the weekends I'm fairly social, enjoying regular catch ups with friends and a beer or two! :P
Postgraduate Student (Actuarial Sciences) from India at Macquarie University. I am searching for Part-Time jobs. I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam. I am quiet, considerate, and clean. Latino american, currently studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education at a private college in the city. I've been in Australia for almost 2 years and will stay longer to keep on studying. I am a busy person and would probably be working, studying or out with friends most of the time. I like to treat people the same way I would like them to treat me. I'm a very creative and keen on music, art, and reading. I'm a quiet person and I won't disturb you, however I love singing so much and you will probably hear me singing every now and then. I would love to get along with my flatmate and someone i could probably be friends with :)

Hi, I'm currently working in the Craft Beer software industry which means I get to work from home so I will be spending a lot of time at home during the week. I do like my personal space but also enjoy the odd drink around a board game or some netflix at the end of the day. I'm a fairly easy going and straightforward guy when it comes to most things. I am a very tidy person that likes a clean and simple room/home. Im looking for a place where I'll have a decent sized bedroom as I will need to set up a desk/office to work comfortably from. An outside area would also be awesome (but not required) as I would like to foster animals in need, usually dogs/puppies or kittens. The size of the property will decide how big they are. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey! Looking for a place to call home with some awesome flatmates I can call mates (prefer girls). I’m from Sydney, work the standard 9-5 at North Sydney, go to the gym during the week, enjoy cooking healthy, and like catching up with friends on the weekends for brunch, drinks or outdoor adventures. Bright, bubbly, friendly person who is respectful, tidy and really easy going. Love to socialise, but also enjoy my downtime too :)
I can cook a mean Malaysian Indian chicken curry or vegetarian soup depending on your diet requirements, have been a head tenant so on top of rent payment and keeping the place clean. In addition, I’m a professional who lived in NZ for almost 5 years living with many other nationalities which makes me multi cultural :). Oh did I also mention I’m a dog lover? Just putting it out there. 😄 Would be great to have a double bedroom for visiting Mum or mate.
A bit about me: I'm a 26 year old professional making the move to Sydney for my career. Before you dismiss me as a Melbournian, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that I was born in Sydney and can be impartial during 'which city is better?' debates. I finished uni last year after 6 years. I travelled around a bit and have now landed a job in St Peters. I am hoping to live around the area to make my life easier. I like going out and enjoy cultural activities like galleries and shows. I also love staying in and watching movies. What I'm looking for: Ideally, I'd like a room/apartment that has a bit of storage space for my clothes and an ensuite. Having said that, I will consider any place that's clean, with a good location and has pleasant housemates. My preferred length of stay is really open from 6months+. I like to be social but am more than happy to give housemates as much space as they like. I would most prefer to live with somebody in their mid 20s-30s. I don't mind if pets are around - I would actually really like if they were. I would like a parking space since I plan to get a car at some point. Though this is not a strict requirement.
Hi Nice to meet you, I'm an IT professional from Hong Kong and is coming to work in Sydney, will need a short term accommodation for 4 months. I'm a tidy, clean and respectful person, dad of a 1 yr old boy (dun worry my baby is not coming with me :D). May need to cook for dinners but probably only use my own rice cooker so you won't even notice that I used your kitchen. Only consider places within walking distance to train station as I will heavily rely on trains. Will want to explore around Sydney when I don't need to work. fb: https://www.facebook.com/ryan.tsui linkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ryan-tsui-17b92972/
