I am a friendly and genuinely easygoing person. I love to make friends and share different thoughts with each other. I could be intrvert and extrovert at the same time, means we could have some awsome movie nights together, or would totally respect your personal space if you need. Not a fan of party, but wouldn’t mind sitting together for a few drinks.😊
I'm easy going and I love being social with people who I live with however I also like my own space for some solid me time. I'm currently living in Canberra (moved here a year and half ago to focus on me and to get away from Sydney) but am looking to move back to Sydney tomorrow be closer to my friends and family by March next year. I'm super friendly, love a good chat and a sneaky wine or two on a Friday night!
Hi, I'm Alex, formerly a software engineer, now I work in sales and recruitment. I'm moving from Perth to Sydney for a new job. I have two guiding principles in life: 1. Don't lie. 2. Be responsible. My rent is always going to be paid on time, if I break something I'll let you know about it, and I won't eat your food in the night. I clean my room, as well as common areas after I use them. I've been renting for the last ten years and have a great rep with my former landlords. Things I will happily do with you: * Play board and video games * Watch Japanese pro wrestling and Jordan Peterson lectures * Study sessions * Go for a walk on a Sunday * Visit the art gallery * Lift weights * Go to church * Be included in a cleaning roster or pitch in for a cleaner I won't be a good fit if: * You're lazy and irresponsible, and blame others when life doesn't give you what you feel entitled to * You're frequently up late making lots of noise (I hit the sack around 9:30pm every night, and wake at 6:30am every morning) * You want to share cooking duties on weekdays (weekends are a different story). I eat strictly during the week so I can reward myself with some delicious carbs on the weekend * You don't want meat cooked in the house * You think it's ok to lie Benefits of living with me: * No stress about not receiving rent money * The house will be as neat and tidy as you want it to be * Can approach me about investing money to make the house nicer (professional cleaner, better internet, nicer furniture, adding artwork, etc.) * I keep emergency funds and can afford to replace your things if I break them * I will help you solve most of your IT issues * Gym buddy * No obligation to keep me entertained as I have enough commitments, friends, and interests to keep myself busy * It won't take much convincing to get me to your church, if that's your thing * Uber Eats, board/video game nights for housemate bonding I'm a fairly assertive guy; I don't beat around the bush. If you're hard-working, organised, honest, and refuse to be a victim we will get along very well.
Teacher, writer, philosopher, scholar and inspirational cartoonist. Friendly but quiet and grounded. Non smoker. Love animals and vegetarian :-) Sincere and reliable. Am environment conscious and believe that people sharing a space should clean up after. Very light cooking. Cheers, SR
I am living in Gladesville at the moment and love the area. I enjoy walking in all the beautiful nature and all the great food options. I am mostly very quiet and spend a lot of time watching Netflix. I work full time in Gladesville.
Hey, Tim here. I have a full time job in north Sydney and a pretty active social life, so I’m generally not home. Looking more for a place to sleep and chill out in, not one to have people over that often. Pretty neat and tidy and have respect for personal space and boundaries. I’m currently living out in castle hill and ideally looking for a place closer to work and the city. The commute is killing me atm!
Young French professional looking for a room in Sydney Hello all, my name is Valentin and I'm 23 (I will be 24 in less than 1 month). I’m French and coming to work in Sydney as an engineer end of September. I’m looking for a private room in Manly / Chatswood / Crows Nest / St leonards / Wollstonecraft / Surry Hills / along the train T1. I'm an easy-going, clean and sociable person, who enjoys getting to know new people, hopefully I can find a great place to live with great housemates to live with. I will be happy having dinner (I love cheese), cooking, hanging out and practicing sports all together (I play tennis, badminton, rugby, football...). I don't know how to surf, so if you want to teach me, it will be great !! ;) Feel free to ask me anything. Hope to see you soon :) Cheers, Valentin
Hey! I'm a 25 yo bloke working full-time as a carpenter as well as studying my Cert IV in building, and I do a fair bit of volunteer time in the entertainment industry. I've been out of home for a while, done the share house thing for a bit so I know the drill, happy to take the lead with housework etc etc. I'm a bit of a workaholic, so I like having my own space to crash, but I'm totally up for social times as well. Board game nights or movie marathons could be a thing! I'm looking for a home, not just a room. When I'm home I tend to be more an artsy person, I listen to good tunes, I design sets for theater, or watch movies (yes Disney and Marvel, I'm looking at you). So I'm keen to live with similar minded people! I have a cat, he's an adorable 6yo ginger short hair, very affectionate! As far as I know good with other animals, he definitely makes friends wherever he goes (just like me)! I'm looking for some humans to share a house. Non-smokers preferred, mainly for the kitty's sake. Other pets cool, if you're keen shoot me a message and we can go from there! Also looking at joining someone else's share house if possible. Keen for people about my age, guys girls couples, wherever you're at in life is totally cool! Looking to move towards the end of Sept, and looking for until January for now as I'm studying for the year, but not sure whats happening next year just yet. Any other questions let me know!
Hi! I’m Taylor. I’m a recent graduate of the Newcastle Law School starting my career in January 2019 in Sydney. I’m tidy, clean and respectful of privacy, and space. I appreciate a quiet home and am not a party animal. However I am no stranger to a few good bevs and good bants. I’ll be working full-time Monday to Friday and am looking for lovely tenants to share a place with. I moved to Australia in 2005 from Scotland and absolutely love it here. I will be visiting my family back in Newcastle most weekends. Thanks! :)
Hi I’m Hayley :) I’m currently in the hills area but I work in the CBD so I'd like to live somewhere a bit closer to shorten the commute. I’m easy to live with and am looking for some similar housemates. I’m very clean, easy going, and pretty low key. Friendly housemates are preferred. I do need somewhere to park but I'm not fussed if it's secure or street parking. I've had to change my moving date to November - feel free to contact me if you have a room coming up which might suit.
Hi, I’m Georgie a 26 yr old physiotherapist. I am a pretty easy going, respectful, cheeky and outdoorsy person. I ‘try’ to live a active lifestyle, love going on bush/coastal walks but also greatly enjoy a good tv bringe sesh . I like being social but also enjoy having my own space.
I am in my late 20's, working professional Monday-Friday. I'm easy going, like to have a good balance between going out with friends, and quiet days/nights at home. I enjoy cooking and occasionally having friends over for a dinner/BBQ. I like to share a meal or a drink with flat mates, but also enjoy some quiet time. I like keeping my home clean and tidy, so would like to live with people who do as well :)
I've just moved over to Sydney from London after finishing uni and am starting a 6 month internship. I'm looking for a nice room to live in with sociable housemates, ideally furnished but I can get my own if needed. Can move in at any point between now and when I start working on 2nd October. Please let me know if you have anything that sounds suitable - just looking to have a good time whilst obviously working in the weeks!xoxo
I am a 22yr old student studying International Relations/terrorism at Maquarie Uni. I work full time as a nanny. I am looking for friendly, respectful housemates that are willing to connect and get a lease together. I am tidy and clean and would prefer to connect with people who are financially sound. I have rented at a few different places in the past but have never found a house in which I would like to settle in. My ideal housemates would like their own space whilst also enjoying the occasional beer or wine together after a long week - definately not looking for a party house. I like my space clean and tidy. About me: I am a makeup nut, love watching the EPL, love cheese and wine more than you know and enjoy cooking. I am looking to move out asap. If you would like to meet up and see if we click send me a message 😊
I’m a PE Teacher, always out doing something active or at the trivia. I’m really clean, easy going who’s lived in share houses before and looking for a place with cool housemates whether we just chat casually after work or end up becoming really good friends out of it.
Respectful, friendly, happy for a chat and laugh though conscious of others space and privacy. Lover of wine, fitness and eating well. Love to cook and dine out. I am not big on staying home, I would much rather be out exploring / bush walks, cafes, bars, markets etc on my days off so I won’t be in the house all that much. I do however like to potter around of an evening with some good tunes and making a nice meal. I am hoping to find a place in Feb 2019 as my current lease will be up. I would rather share with one other, or have a granny flat to my self as I am very much enjoying my own space, though do miss the company. I just won’t be interested in a house with 2 or more sharing, sorry. Thank you! :)
Hi I’m Danni! I’m a 26 year old Australian female working around 40 hours s week in the city. So I’m not home a lot, but when I am I like to cook and/or have a glass of wine while watching Friends (or something else if I feel like mixing it up!) I’m very easygoing, like my own space to relax occasionally but more than happy to cook/have a meal together, have a drink, or have people over :) Milo is a 1 year old miniature dachshund who is toilet trained, loves to run and is very friendly towards people and other dogs, as well as cats. He is an indoor/outdoor dog - translation: he’s 100% toilet trained to outside, he loves to hang out and run around outside, but he does sleep inside in my room (Like the entitled sausage dog he is!) We’re ideally looking for somewhere with lots of good walking tracks around as we walk/run almost every day and need a balcony/outdoor area. Also not too many stairs, because dachshund = long back and tiny legs!
Hello! I'm Sarah - 25 years old, an aspiring actor, working four days a week at a children's hospital. I currently live in Drummoyne and am looking at moving for a change of scenery - preferably to the east (I love the beach!!) or on the water somewhere. I am an outgoing, social, and silly person who enjoys quiet evenings at home with a movie and homemade pizza. I am very tidy and respectful of people's personal space and am looking for a household that is also very clean and tidy, and not a party house. I am flexible with move in dates and am strict on $270 rent per week maximum. I'm looking for a single room (NO SHARED ROOMS). Backyards that would let me get a pet bunny are a plus! :)
Hi there, I'm a busy corporate girl working for a global company. I'm about to be transferred from Auckland (NZ) to Sydney on the 28th October, so I'm on the hunt for my new home. In my spare time I’m a dancer (salsa!) and also love food and dining out. Being active is important to me, so I like to get out most weekends being social with friends and I'm really looking forward to exploring the best of Sydney. I love animals but don’t have any pets of my own. Really flexible with people (i.e. love a good wine with the flatties) and yet private. As I'll be new to Sydney, I would love to live with people that could be friends as well as flatmates. Bonus of living with me - I work for an appliance company and get great discounts if you need new appliances ;) Hope to find a great place to share with great people. Cheers Marissa
