Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm a full-time post-graduate student studying social work at UQ. I also work part-time as a disability support worker and I'm looking to move closer to both my work and uni. I've lived in share houses for the last five years. I'm easy going, tidy, respectful, friendly but also pretty quiet. However, I don't mind a good chat. I rarely drink, so not looking for a party house but happy to share a meal and socialise with my flatmates.
Hi there, towards the end of Feb start of March me and a girlfriend are looking at moving to Brisbane for work/study. We are looking for someone to rent a place in Brisbane city with us, preferably female and around our age. A bit about me, I love fitness I will be commencing a personal trainers course once I make the move, I'm 19, I love having a few casual drinks, cooking and heading out for brunch as often as possible. About Niamh, she is 19, loves to cook up amazing vegan dishes, and is a qualified make-up artist. We are both very sociable and have a lot of experience living in share houses, we are eager to hear from anyone looking for a place in the areas I have listed. We hope to hear from you soon!
Hey! I'm Alix! A little bit about me; I'm 29 (30 in a few weeks), single and have no kids or pets. I'm working as a pharmacy assistant at the moment. I have had experience with share-housing before. I am clean, quiet and very reliable and I have a rental reference from property I have rented on my own in the past. I am not a party animal by any means but I love to socialise and make new friends!! At the moment, I don't have a bed so a furnished room works well for me.
Hi, I'm from Germany, my family moved to Brisbane Australia when I was a wee baby. I grew up in Byron bay until returning to Brisbane and have been a local ever since 2000. What I do I work as an addictions counsellor and community educator for an NGO. Previously a designer and barista at cafes. For fun (and adventure) I spend my weekends with good friends, family, picnics, cafes, outings I have a mild book addiction, work on my business, visit family and the beach in my home town often, take my surfboard with me in summer. Love bushwalking and adventuring Addicted to learning, and hearing new perspectives I love getting engaged with like minded people in our community and am passionate about many topics.... Few! I'll save the rest for a face to face meeting Why I'm great to live with I really value a clean and respectful home, and love sharing good food, conversation, and occasional drinks. Also time to myself every now and then. send me a message!
I'm a 4th year UQ student just back from student exchange. I've shared rentals before and am tidy and reliable. Enjoy cooking and keeping fit and hoping to find housemates who i can call friends.
So I wanting to move out my current place by the beginning of January. Most of my friends aren't in the position to move out with me. 😒 I'm looking for 2 or 3 people to move into a house and call it our own. Based in Paddington, Milton, Red Hill, Ashgrove and Wilson. So if you are interested please don't hesitate to message me and send me your details. Let's hang out, get a coffee or a cocktail. See if we gel and all that jazz. A little bit about myself. I like getting into mischief :) I would consider myself a social bunny. I'm always procrastinating doing my uni work and rather be hanging out on the deck with a drink in my hand or literally anything. I'm easy going , open minded and creative person.
I'm currently studying an Environmental Management degree at UQ and work at Coles in Toowong shopping centre. Looking for somewhere close-ish to them both. I have a dog called Zuri, shes a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Will lick you to death, but other than that she's pretty relaxed. Im normally up for anything as long as its social or outside, but i am pretty busy during the semester so I may not be around much. My move in date is pretty flexible. I'm just looking to be moved out of my current house before the middle of the year.
Hi there! I'm Jo, I'm 31 and I co-own a small creative agency based here in Brisbane. I also have a very cute, very snuggly 2 year old rescue pup by the name of Dasher. She is very well trained and needs to be allowed to live inside with the humans though she does also love a good sunbake in the back yard. I am pretty laid back and when I'm not working or playing with the dog, you will probably find me baking (I make a mean red velvet cupcake) or reading the skincare forums on reddit. I also love to travel and will usually go overseas once every year or two. This year I have been to Japan and have just come back from a 7 week tour of the United States. My ideal house share would have 1 or 2 easy going, similarly aged housemates who like their own space but are also up for sharing a sneaky drink of an evening and a puppy snuggle or two.
I am a fun loving 18 year old. I am pretty much your stereotypical "hippie".. yes I enjoy yoga, crystals, meditation, doofing, hooping, 420 friendly, and I'm vegan :) I am clean and mature and like my own space. I would also love to adopt a tiny ginger rescue kitten!
I'm a conscientious housemate and full time student in my last year at UQ, studying film and writing. I've lived in share houses before. Looking for a comfortable room on the south side with a decent internet connection, not too far from a major supermarket or public transport to UQ, and ideally some other 20ish people to chat with or share a movie. I keep things clean and rent paid on time. Don't mind if you smoke, toke, or have pets (as long as you treat them well of course).
A little bit about myself... I'm from Brazil, but I'm currently studying Computer Science at Lancaster University in England. I've moved to Brisbane in July for a year long exchange program at QUT. I decided to exchange with QUT as a QUT-er came over to my uni earlier this year. She would proceed to entice me with stories about Brisbane to the point I couldn't help but apply to go. What would living with me be like? Nothing but a breeze. I'm a easy-going happy person who likes it when others are happy around him :) I'm great company for like every activity. We can play board games, we can cook together ( I cook well, I'm told.), video games, beer at a bar, watch netflix, shopping, random strolls, karaoke, you name it. Just don't ask me to do things that include jumping off of or from things, as I'm not very big on heights. I currently share my flat with 5 other flatmates, and I'm the clean one who remembers to take out the trash and clean the leftover cereal bowls, so don't worry about me making huge messes. I'm also very studious, so won't be throwing loads of parties all the time. I very much enjoy just being on my computer and listening to some music. With that being said, I am a very social person. You will definitely see me, I'm not the type to hibernate in my room for the whole day. I love meeting and talking to people I like, so I'm sure we'll have many conversations. Plus, if we all agreed to throw a party, I wouldn't mind. Well, if I sound like someone you wouldn't mind sharing a roof with, feel free to message me back. :) Hope to hear back from ya!
Reid and I are friendly, outgoing, adventurous people who are very easy going. We both work - Reid in design and Jess in Hospitality. Reid is American and Jess is Australian and both went to uni in the US. We are looking to make friends, meet new people, try new things while we are living in Brisbane. We are both clean, healthy, respectful, non-smokers who enjoy having fun but also enjoy our personal time alone. Please contact us if you are looking for 2 fun and reliable roommates!
Hi mates, I'm a really relaxed, tidy German girl. I love to hang out with my friends in my free time and I love adventures. I'm going to start studying in the end of February and I'm working part time at a restaurant. I can cook ( german cuisine:) ) Can't wait hearing from you! Cheeeers!
I am a PhD student. I spend most of the day out. I am clean and not a party person. But wouldn't mind watching movies with flatmates. I am looking for private room and own/ensuite bathroom I don't mind teaming up with another girl and hunt together for an apartment
Hi all! I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a shared house within 4 kilometres from Roma Street Station. Planning on moving in on the weekend of 18 February (might be about to move earlier if need be). I work full time in the city. I will have no problem paying rent or bills. I'm a relative clean person and I think everyone should pull their equal share with cleaning and contributing to the house. I'm a social person and happy to have a few drinks with my housemates but also enjoy spending time by myself. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends, going to music festivals and concerts, doing a Netflix binge and just generally trying new and interesting things. If you think I would be a good fit in your house, please get in contact with me :-) Kylie
Hola! I am an international student from India. I belong to a punjabi family and I am going to pursue my masters degree from University of Queensland (UQ), Sant Lucia, Brisbane in feb,2017 so I am looking for an accommodation in my budget. I am very friendly and studious guy who loves to enjoy with friends in his free time. Also, I am a gregarious person and like to make new friends. Moreover, I am a big fan of american series and I am a sober guy. Feel free to contact me :) .
A British Freelance Film & TV Production manager - working across SEQ, having plenty of experience in Share Housing - on both Student and Professional levels - looking for a Long Term accommodation. Would love to move in ASAP. Thank You very much for your time and efforts. Mihir Matkari.
We are an easygoing couple that are looking for somewhere relaxed to live. We both study law at QUT. We are very lively people and always like to be making noise, we love music - Jake has several guitars that he enjoys jamming out to. We are always down for a laugh and a chat; but also enjoy individual time for ourselves. We would ideally like to move into a share house with 1 - 2 people that are open and communicative should an issue ever arise. We are both clean and tidy people, and see paying all bills as a first priority. We'd be great to live with as we are always down for a chat, chilled out drink and a bit of fun; but at the same time would give you lots of space. In our spare time we enjoy going for drives or taking small trips. We'l never say no to a casual drink or to trying new experiences. We'd love to live in a place where we feel very welcome.
Hello! I'm 23, working full time at Flight Centre Headquarters in South Brisbane. I live an active and healthy lifestyle. I usually am out of the house early in the mornings off to gym/yoga/bootcamp and at night I might do the same, or just walk home! Weekends I like to head out for brunch, beach, markets, movies, head to a bar with live music! I'm looking for friends under than same roof rather than just a room. Always up for a wine, netflix, takeaway, and throw a bit of banter, but also respect everyones alone time Please feel free to message me :) Thanks Ames
I am a US student studying abroad at QUT for the semester. I am very easy to get along with, clean, and outgoing. I plan on traveling a good amount, but still need a nice place to stay in Brisbane with roommates that hopefully can either show me around or discover Australia while I do. I love meeting new people and seeing new places.
I am a friendly, clean, sociable person and I'm respectful of other people's things. I am pretty laid back and easy to live with and although my room is often a mess I appreciate having clean and tidy common areas. I just got back from 8months in central and south america so would love to live with some fellow travellers! I'm currently studying at UQ and only have 6months until I graduate but I am still trying to work as much as possible to save up for the next trip :)
I'm a great housemate! Chill go with the flow adaptable. I will be working full-time as an exhibit builder at the queensland museum. Im wrapping up my studies now in visual arts and spanish. In my downtime I like to read, paint and take little trips away to get into nature as often as possible. I love living in brisbane because of the trees, the citycat and all the friendly faces. I cook abit, clean a bit; I am looking for a relaxing place to call home but still with social good times.
Hi Guys, I'm Grace I work full time as an Executive Assistant in the City/Valley so I am wanting to stay close to my work and I love the New Farm area! I am fairly quiet during the week and go to the gym most mornings - I am very noise conscious so you won't hear me! I enjoy relaxing and having a couple of drinks or trying a new bar/restaurant on weekends and I enjoy meeting new people but also love time to myself. On weekends I am usually between the Gold Coast and Brisbane depending on what I have on. I would like to find two like minded people to live with who are ideally happy and relaxed and take pride in their home. I have pretty much everything to set up a house/apartment except for a fridge. My lease ends on the 27th of March but will be as flexible as possible! Please message me if you have any questions! I look forward to hearing from you!
Clean and usually keep to myself. Studying nursing full time while working part time at Coles. I enjoy beach trips and road trips and adventures! Currently live at home and would love to move out! My ideal place would be with 1 or 2 house mates, a nice kitchen and a nice bathroom. I'd want my new place to feel more like a home more then just the place I live. I'd love housemates that are social but also like quiet time.
Hey guys, looking for a place the week of 12th Feb (lease ends 17th Feb). I'm a recently graduated law student who is at the moment working part time. I've lived in sharehouses for a while now so I know how these things go! I'm easygoing; friendly and not fussy, so if you have a spare unfurnished room feel free to send me a message 😊
Me and my girlfriend both study at Griffith university. Reliable and clean! Might be a bit loud (You know how it is ;)). Contact me if you have something to offer me, much appreciated. Mike
My name is Roberto, I am 20yo. This year I will start my second year in the bachelor of engineering at the University of Queensland, therefore I am looking for a room near St Lucia to stay (preferably no more than $150 per week and with unlimited internet included). I moved from Italy 4 years ago and I graduated with an OP 3 in 2015. I am good to organise things in time, listen to the duties that are charged on me. Polite, reliable and kind with people around me. I don’t smoke and I am not a party guy and I prefer to live with people who don’t mess up the house with parties or drugs.
Hi, I am looking to relocate to Brisbane in February from Central Queensland for work. I am looking for somewhere with two spare rooms one for me and one my friend Trent who currently studies at Griffith University. We preferably want to live close to the city and somewhere close to public transport. We are very easy going people and love meeting new people.
Hi, I'm a French student taking a year off my studies to gain some professional experience. I have found an internship in brisbane and am therefore looking for a place to stay. I'm used to travelling around (I've lived in South Africa and India) and meeting new people so I'm quite easy-going. I am tidy and respectful of others and their privacies.
Hey! My name is Alex, I'm a 21 year old fairly recently graduated nurse working at the Mater Hospital. I love travelling, watching Netflix and anything to do with dogs. I am from the Sunshine Coast and do go back quite often. I want to get along with and have fun with the people I live with, also respecting that we all need some down time to ourselves as well.
I'm easygoing, friendly, humorous and with respect for all people. I'm organized, clean, decent with a good sense of humor! A Brazilian guy in Brisbane to study English and I have a part-time job. I´m looking for a minimum stay of 6 months, if we get along, we can stay flatmates for a long time. Interested in single rooms with own bathroom in the region of Valley-Newstead-Teneriffe-New Farm. Best Regards!!
Hello! I am goofy 26 y.o gay professional working in Medical Imaging. Looking for a place to call home with some wonderful peeps! My current roommate has sadly moved OS to live and I have opted to not continue my current lease (which ends on the 6th of March) for a bit of a change. I am super easy going, clean ( but not OCD) and considerate. Would love to share a couple of beverages/ meals/good vibes, go for a hike or hit up the movies with the roomies. I like getting out and about, dabbling in crafts, hiking and keeping active. I do have to travel a bit between the GC + Sunshine coast for work, so I do have to be up and at 'em early fairly often. I am looking for an unfurnished room+ I do have a couple of other pieces of furniture ( fridge, chairs TV etc) that I can bring along with me. Please don't be afraid to ask any questions and I am happy to meet up for a coffee/drink. Cheers, Todd
I'm a PhD Candidate (doing my research about culinary tourism/social media and marketing). Apart from doing my PhD, I also work part-time (a few days per week) as a consulate officer in the CBD. I've lived in a lot of shared houses (both in Brisbane and Glasgow) while Bangkok and Malmö are cities where I spent my childhood. Well I like to think that I'm pretty easy to live with - however I am such a clean/neat freak and a minimalist. I really like something that's marble, woody, white or rose-gold! If the bedroom is unfurnished, that's totally fine since I have got some ideas for my Pinterest-inspired bedroom. Obsessed with all the candles, Aesop products and etc that can make the home is a place to unwind. I would say I prefer to keep the house organised and clutter-free. I mostly cook at home but as a foodie I often go out to find good places/cafes to chill out and catch up with foodies. Although I love cooking and baking at home, I do use electricity wisely so we can save money and help protect the environment :)
***Not looking for a share room*** Hi I'm Caitlin! Looking for an apartment/townhouse share with 1 or 2 other females around similar age, I work full time for a bank in the city 9-5, really sociable but also love me some alone time so I won't always be up in your grill :) I don't mind pets and love to relax with a wine and a chat at the end of the day or in the weekend with my friends/housemates. I'm too old for a party house these days and would looove to live with someone that can motivate me to do more yoga and exercise! Preferably would like somewhere central city so I can walk to work but open to South Bank, Newstead etc area. Not looking to move until beginning of March as this is when my current lease ends. I'm also pretty cool and get on easily with anyone! Thanks :)
We are looking for a large bedroom and some storage space, easy to live with , clean and quiet we both love riding our bikes 🚴. and Holly will away on placement to finish her Uni degree most of the time. I work full time but when we are around we just like to relax and cook.
Hi there! My name is Katina, I'm a 30 year old (look and feel about 24...but wiser) looking to find my own quiet pad or a place to share with some fun, laid back people while I focus on my career...or fly solo. Either way, I'm not actually too fussed! I work at a gym, run a small business (Minerva Candle) and also study via correspondence (3D Animation/Conceptual Art and Design). I have a very relaxed personality and a fairly dry sense of humour - I really love to laugh. I'm possibly the closest thing to a 'bro' in a girls body you'll get (I'm all about the video games, lifting at the gym, action movies, quoting Anchorman and Step Brothers, etc)...except I smell nicer, love a glass of wine, and like to do my nails on the weekly...so if you're okay with that, then awesome. I enjoy having my own space and don't fear it, but I also love human company and making friends so either way works well for me. I tend to be out and about a lot...I don't really party, but I like to visit friends and go on adventures...so don't be surprised if I ask if you want to bunjee jump or climb a cliff. I will accept if you say no, but I will likely call you a whimpy. :P I'm looking for any area near to the city (New Farm, Newstead, Ashgrove, etc) as this is closest to my work and also gives me access to the city which I enjoy wandering around (read- sniffing around for food). I really enjoy making a place a warm and inviting home so I can promise you that I'll take beautiful care of your property while I'm borrowing it from you :) You might have to be okay with smelling candles all the time...that is what I do for my business, yes you will get freebies :) If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm away from the 1st Feb to 5th March, so either scramble moving before I go, or moving in after the 5th March :) - Katina
About me, I am a French girl from the Caribbean. I was living in a share house of 7 international people in South Bank before my 2 month holidays in France this Christmas. I am a very tidy girl, friendly and open minded. I love cooking (and sharing it!), reading novels (SF, Fantasy, Thriller), watching movies. I like having a drink or two with my housemates. About what I am doing nowadays, I've just finished my Master at Griffith Film School in November and I have 2 short films in post-production that I need to finish. My majors are screenwriting and directing.

Hi, I live in Northern NSW but work in West End 3 days a week. Looking for somewhere for just 2 nights a week! I'll barely be there as I'll be working late when in West End. So it won't even feel like you have a flatemate. You can even airbnb the room on the weekend if you like :)
I am looking for a place to rent preferably furnished in Brisbane. I work full time Monday to Friday as an administrator for an engineering firm. I am clean and tidy person and will help pitch in with the weekly cleaning duties. I love to socialise and meet new people as well as sitting down and binge watch the lastest in Tv Seasons.
We are fun, outgoing students studying at UQ looking for others in a similar situation. We are very reliable and clean. We have lived in a share house before and understand the responsibilities and importance to be considerate and respectful. You'll have a great year living with us, looking forward to meeting you :)
