Hi future flatmates I m studying Podiatry at QUT . I moved from Mel to Bris this year so Brisbane is pretty new for me. I m clean , tidy and respect privacy . I love cooking , up to chats and movies/drama sometimes. **NOT A PARTY ANIMAL** !! I m looking for housemates to share the vibe, prefer 1 or 2 flatmates . Hope to hear from you soon =)
We are Alvaro and Raquel, a couple from Barcelona, Spain, looking for a double room in a shared house/apartment. I have the Work&Holiday Visa and Alvaro has an Student Visa, so we are going to be studying and working during our time in Brisbane, at least for 9 months. We are looking for a place to call home and we are looking forward to having housemates to become friends with. We are clean and really easy going people. We'd love to enjoy time all together, having dinner, going for a drink or exploring the city, but we are also very respectful of space and privacy. If possible, we are looking for an ensuite room or one with a private bathroom. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
Looking to move from GC to Brissie for work, my current lease ends in late October. I have a bit of furniture so I'm preferring to TeamUp to find a new place. This includes lounge, kitchen and bedroom items. Location preferably is inner suburbs of Brisbane, I have only selected a few on this site but open to suggestions. Looking for a roommate who's clean, has a job, can have a laugh and of course respect each other's privacy when needed. Let me know if you are looking for the same or have any ideas. Happy to meet up for a coffee and discuss 👌
I'm a young professional working full time in the Valley. I've just moved to Brisbane from interstate so looking to move into a fun, friendly and easy-going house/apartment. I'm clean, tidy, always up for a chat, but can respect personal space as well. I'm pretty active, but work long hours occasionally, so can be pretty quiet during the week. Having said that I'm always up for a chat and something social on the weekends.
I'm great to live with because I'm probably the most un awkward person to live with, I'm friendly and love good vibes in a house share. I like my own space as much as anybody else loves there's so i wouldn't be in your face. I'm clean and very fair to live with.
I'm a friendly and polite person, clean, sensible and intuitive. I live in Tasmania at the moment, but I'm looking to venture up to Brisbane for the sunshine and to meet new people. My interests include sports and games (namely basketball), listening to music, binge watching TV series and movies. I also enjoy trying new things, discussing ideas and learning. I'm usually quite reserved but I do open up around the right people (or anyone if I have some drinks). My moving date is very flexible - I can wait as long or as little as needed.
Chilean guy, been living in Brisbane for 2 Years now. I'm very respectful, social and look after myself and the place I live in. I can be a mess when it comes to my room, but I always look to contribute to the general cleaning and maintenance of the common areas of a house. I don't party, my favourite plan for a Friday is to go out to a pub with friends or stay home watching a movie or playing boardgames or videogames. I'm currently studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and working in a childcare centre in the CBD.
Hi we are a fairly introverted, friendly couple. We are ideally looking for a room each in a share house arrangement and room for us to make and tend a vegie garden is essential. Rob enjoys fishing, gardening, reading, camping, hiking, playing guitar and cooking and Ruby enjoys yoga, drawing and painting, gardening, camping, hiking, playing guitar and cooking. Ruby is a vegan non smoker, non drinker (dont mind about living with non vegans) and Rob is mostly vegan diet but occasionally fish etc and non smoker and very occasional drinker (a beer every few months sort of thing). We are polite, considerate and clean housemates and are hoping to find the same. Rob is a gardener by trade and Ruby is a hairdresser by trade however we are both considering studying again. Prospective housemates must be clean, responsible, honest, bills payed on time, anti-racism, anti-homophobia, anti-classism, pro-environmentalism.. basically pro-basic decency :) smoking outside is okay but seeking a strictly non smoking indoors home. Interested in any and all suburbs, just picked 4 at random. We arrived in Brisbane on the weekend after travelling for the last year and a half. This is our first time living in queensland.
I'm a young professional working in the CBD, looking for a room in a flatshare. I'm tidy, responsible, courteous and respectful, and also ask the same of potential flatmates. I have a pretty active lifestyle, and have a pretty time-consuming job - so it's more likely than not that I'll be a very quiet flatmate.
Two years ago, as an Australian permanent resident, I left Australia to go back to America in order to be closer to my Dad, who was dying of cancer. This past May 2017, he ended his battle with cancer and passed. During these past couple of years, I have had the privilege of working for some prominent companies here in America. I am an award-winning Manager and Paralegal with 12 years experience and well equipped with an MBA/MS. I'll be arriving in Brisbane on 19 September 2017 and will be looking for work. Looking for somewhere to start my life again in Australia.....in a new city. My goal is to work and save money to purchase a flat in the area whilst having a room. Previously lived in Sydney and Newcastle for over 5 years (but these places didn't suit my lifestyle - I am laid back and friendly). I'm American, a gay male, 40 years old with a very outgoing personality and also like my privacy as well. Fitness and travel are important to me and it would be great to be around like-minded folks. I have done the university student thing so ideally, I'd like to be around professionals who'd enjoy a happy hour or two and maybe a night out on the weekends. I'm new to Brisbane and would like to meet other like-minded people. Lets meet and see if we click! Please do not hesitate to contact me with further questions. Regards, Ian
I've been doing this awhile so i'm not new to how things work and generally get along with anyone. i'm just looking for a new place to stay that might be more convenient for me, I'm really chilled out and can also be sociable generally i'm always doing my own thing but you won't find any problems living with me. I am very open minded and am down for drinks or movie nights most of the time.
We are a couple looking to share an apartment. I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. Australia will be the third country to call home in as many years, after the United States and Ireland. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from the University of San Diego, then moved to the University of Kansas to get my master's degree in interpersonal communication. After that, I moved to Dublin, Ireland to play semi-pro basketball in the Irish league. I've lived with males and females, athletes and scientists, and married roommates. Jade is Irish and has lived in Dublin, Ireland most of her life. She got her hairdressing license in London but has been working in an accountant's office for the past 4 years.
I m a registered nurse, fun easy going. I m also doing part time study . I love exercise, cooking when I m not working. I m not keen on going out partying anymore as my shift work takes lot out my energy but I wouldn't mind having diner out with a glass or two wine once in while. Looking for flatmates who are also health care professionals (preferred but not must) who understand the life of a shift worker. (night shifts and all)
Hi, my name is Allie. I'm looking for a lovely little place to call home for the next few months and possibly onwards! I'm a soon-to-be Registered Nurse due to begin my graduate program in February! Until then, I am currently working part time with an agency while I finish the end of my degree. I'm always up for a chat and a laugh, maybe a wine or two, but I prefer my own space most of the time, and I'm super respectful of yours too. I'm not a party animal; I'd rather stick pins in my eye than go clubbing. However I like the live music scene and dinners with friends. I love things to be clean and tidy! I don't mind a weekly spruce. I enjoy being outdoors, walking, hiking etc. and don't spend too much time at home. But when I am I'm usually sleeping (strong 95%), cooking, painting or attempting some form of learning/reading. I have a lot of plants. I hope this is okay. I have also accumulated a very small but efficient balcony garden where I grow a lot of my own herbs and vege. I'm looking for a place where I can easily park a car + bike, home my plants and have the capacity to store some belongings. Having my own bathroom or sharing with one other person would be cool, but not essential. My boyfriend is an absolute legend, who unfortunately lives over an hour from me. This is however, fortunate for you if you love your own space, cause he lives at the beach so I'm hardly ever home on the weekends/days off. Plus I shift work, so prepare to only see me a few nights a week. You will basically live alone and I still pay some of the rent. Win! I'm flexible with moving dates, just had to put a date in for the meantime. Anyway, let me know if you want to know more about me! :)
Hi, I’m Marissa or Riss for short. I’m looking for a place to call home that’s close to the city and close to the trainline or (reliable) buses. I’d love a light airy room and although I don’t mind sharing a bathroom I’d prefer a room with an ensuite. I'm currently in Kedron and looking to move END OF OCTOBER. I admit I can sometimes be irritatingly tidy but I just love a nice tidy home that feels cosy but not cluttered, calm but not bland. Coffee is life and I’m a freak for red wine… I’m still working out how much you can love it without being an alcoholic but considering I get up every day for my Gov job in Bowen Hills, I’d say I haven’t hit the danger zone yet. If you’ve got secure parking or at least something under cover, holla at me – I have a motor bike that is my daily ride and needs somewhere to sleep (no car, just the bike). I moved down a couple of months ago from an 8 year run in Cairns so I’m low on possessions but can pretty easily sort out a bedroom if need be. It’s also been a long time since I’ve explored this city so I don’t plan on being home too much, especially on weekends (I’d love your tips on where to go and what to eat). I love a laugh, which is usually at my own expense. I’d love to live with people who are relaxed, considerate, tidy, and independent but don’t mind a chat or sharing a meal. I love cooking and I’m actually not bad at it but my love for potatoes and pasta in all their carby gloriousness is seriously reducing the number of clothes I own that fit. Everyone usually has a “handy” friend, the one that can back up a trailer, build furniture and deal with bugs etc – I’m that friend. Happy to be listed as a resident with your rental agency but due to the nature of my work (I contract) I’d rather not sign onto the lease as I usually change roles every 3-6 months and work all over the city and surrounding areas. Ideally one of makes contact, I'll come round and have a look, maybe stay for a chat and see if we gel... and go from there :)
I m a 31 brazilian guy, i m here to study and improve my english skills, organized and clean person, i like to ride bike and nature, live near of some park to run its a good idea.
