Hi, I'm Zachary! I'm currently living in Ballina by myself while I study TAFE but my course finishes in a week so I'm searching for a place to live in or around Brisbane city while I search for a job/further study. I can keep to myself but not opposed to social interaction. I am a mature 19 year old,. I can be shy at first but will quickly open up. I love music, movies, online games, board games, and play a mean game of cards. I like to have a clean space and am willing to participate in daily chores. I can cook up a storm but I can appreciate a good cup of instant noodles. I don't drink and I'm a non-smoker. Would greatly prefer bills included in rent.
Hi, my name is Andy. I am 25 years old and work full time as a mechanical engineer. Looking for a share house to move into with 3 or 4+ others between the dates of 14th to 30th of July to line up with current lease. Currently living in Annerley with 6 good guys for the last 4 months and am seeking somewhere new as looking for a room bigger than 3x3m. Ideally somewhere similar in that all the housemates hang out together, share the cleaning, have a few drinks, but also respect each others privacy. I have a car that I would like to park either undercover or on the street but other than that am fairly flexible. Outside of work I like sport/gym and to go away for 4x4/camping/hike trips on the weekend. Happy to come over after work to say hi.
I work full-time, but won't get in your way. I am a huge film buff, and have a vast book collection you would be most welcome to take from. I write screenplays in my spare time. I am happy to hang-out chat after work, or give you space. Just looking for someone who's fun and friendly. I am mostly looking at South Brisbane - I would ideally like to be within an 800m walk of Cultural Centre; so, Grey St, Melbourne, Manning, Cordelia or Edmonstone Sts would be ideal. Though an apartment close to Woolloongabba bus station would also be fine. Please feel free to contact me if you have a place you think I might like, and if you think we might click. Thank you! :)
Hi! I’m looking to share a flat or house during my working holiday experience in Brisbane! My plan is to stay here for six months at least. I’m really into sports and healthy living in general, love good conversations but also enjoy time by myself, it’s relaxing :) I’m very respectful with everything shared, not a loud person and very tidy. I always cleanup after using stuff ‘cause it’s annoying to have to see the dirty dishes in the sink :P Hope to find a place where moreless the same interests are shared. Let me know!
I'm currently doing my postgraduate study of social work at UQ while working part-time. I'm very easy-going, respect the shared space that I always clean after myself and happy to contribute the cleaning roster. After living a few share houses in 3 states, I believe that empathy and communication is the key to live together harmoniously. During my days off, I like to go for volunteering, exploring Brisbane(as I'm still new to Brissy only moved here from Perth in Feb), or hiking. I'm native in Mandarin Chinese and interested in learning other languages and cultures. I'm hoping to find single room in a share house where I can feel a sense of community. Ideally,I hope to move in on this Sunday(30 June) but I'm also flexible to move in next Sunday(8 July).
Hi there, I'm Klowie and I attend UQ St Lucia with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science. I am easy going and very devoted to my studies so I won't disrupt the household, however I am always up for a good chat or friendly banter anytime. I would ideally like to move in sometime early July and would prefer a majority female house. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Im Swati, 28 year old female, studying at QUT Kelvin Grove. Me and my friend is looking for team ups with others and rent a property. We are both easy to hang out with and like to keep our surroundings clean.
We are an easy going couple who enjoy good company! We love to travel, eat and will take up any opportunity to spend the day near the beach! Clean, pescatarian, and friendly! Into fitness, food prep, eating out (Brunch is our middle name) and hitting the beach most weekends. Love to hang out and also really respectful of privacy. We are both professionals and work close to the city.
My name is Renchard, I am currently working as an EEN/AIN in mater hospital on casual basis as i plan to go back to studying to finish my degree at QUT Kelvin grove campus next year I am a fun loving, social, and clean guy, Love to have a laugh and joke around, and respect privacy and personal space. I love going to the beach although i do not know how to swim, but love the feel of it. Like sports namely volley ball, hockey and soccer. I especially love experimental cooking, make a mix of everything, do not believe in following recipe (although on odd occasions i do ), rather follow your heart, and add the flavor. I do not like staying in my room all day unless on night shifts so spend most time sleeping apart from morning where i am able to be social, and would like to live in a share house with people who like being socialise. glass of wine, beer or movie night , dinner nights, have small gathering in the house on the odd occasion, and live with LGBTQ+ friendly house, as i am gay.
Hey all! I’m an international business student from Finland working in cafes and hoping to find people to share a home with. I’ll be living in Brisbane at least till July 2019, hopefully much more though!! I’m friendly, easygoing and tidy and like to live a relatively healthy life style. I usually spend a lot of time out of the house but still would like to hang out with my flatmates every now and then. Though I enjoy my own time and give you space as well! Feel free to message if you'd like to change contact details! Would love to meet up :)
Originally from the States and been living in Brisbane past 1.5 year doing my PhD; looking for an unfurnished room. Pretty easy-going, organized/clean, and social but also, appreciate alone time. I've lived with guys and girls separately and together, so not fussed. I enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine on the deck after a day of work, love cooking, and spend any free weekend outdoors hiking/camping/climbing etc. So if you also love all things under the sun, we'll get along quite well!
I’m relaxed, peaceful easy to get along with and keep to myself, but also enjoy the occasional meal or drink with housemates, I think it’s good to find the right balance. I have a dog who loves everyone. When I’m not at home I’m working, studying or out having fun.
Hi! My name is Corey, and while I'm from the US, I'm currently completing my Masters degree in the Netherlands. I will be a visiting researcher at UQ for 3-4 months starting at the beginning of August, and am looking for a nice place to stay while I'm there! I'm a very clean and social person, and would love to be part of a house of similar people! My main interests and hobbies are sports and anything outdoors related, but I especially enjoy volleyball, snowboarding, and hiking. However, I'm open to new experiences, and am looking to pick up a new hobby during my time in Brisbane! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
I am a 22 y/o female, working as an engineer in the CBD and Fortitude Valley. My work has some pretty demanding hours at times, depending on the project. I am clean and tidy. Although I am always friendly and always up for a chat, I am respectful of other people's space. After work, I do just like to relax, do a bit of cooking and recharge for the next day. On the weekends, I like to go to a cafe and try different brunch places + get my morning coffee with my friends. I do also like a short and relaxing hike every now and then.
I'm 25 years old, originally from Scotland (accent still included) and have recently moved here after 13 years in New Zealand. Looking for a place to settle while I get my life together here in Brisbane after studying to be a paramedic. I am clean, responsible, self-sufficient, and enjoy socialising with others while also valuing my own quiet time. I'm open-minded and easy-going and like exercise, watching TV, reading and exploring.
Hey, I’m a high-school graduate who’s currently taking a gap year to find work before I go to university next year. I’d consider myself a clean person, although my room can sometimes end up a little cluttered. Most of the time I spend at home is in my room. I likely won’t have many people over, and I tend to stick to myself, doing things like gaming and reading. That doesn’t mean I’m opposed to spending time with roommates however.
Hi! My name's Ben and I'm looking for a new awesome share house to be a part of! So here's what I do for study and work: - I'm in my third year of Secondary Education/Business Admin at UQ - I work all day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at a suburban high school in their special ed department And here's why I think you'd love to have me as a housemate: - Neither a drinker or smoker (my party days are long behind me haha, though I still like going out quite regularly with my partner, Liam) - I don't have any pets, but am quite the fan of cats and doggo (especially doggo haha) - Clean and tidy - Really enjoy socialising with my flatmates, but also enjoy spending time out with my partner, or just by myself in front of Netflix haha
Hello, my name is Kaori studying masters degree at UQ. I am from Japan. I am looking for a room because my current landlord will close the house. I am tidy, friendly, honest, and responsible person. I’ve lived in my current sharehouse for about two years and never had troubles. I am arelgic to dogs and cats, so I cannot live with them. I list my moving date on 14 July, but I can move in before the date. Thank you. Kaori
Myself and my gals ( 1x silky, 1× terrier - both fully toilet trained, non-chewers) are putting our feelers out for a sharehouse or someone to rent an apartment/home with at the end of July. While we are happy to live alone I would love to be able to share. I'll be working full time in Murarrie M-F and most weekends will be off adventuring. Not a party girl, partial to a few drinks and a fun night out watching gigs or in on the couch. Dogs are super friendly and happy to live outside during the day but will sleep in with me at night. They get along well with cats (have been trialled with my previous fosters). Seeking a place in south Brisbane. Thanks!
