Hi my name is Emma and I will be a fourth year pharmacy student at UQ next year. I also work part time in a pharmacy. I enjoy cooking and baking foods and enjoy sharing a glass of wine or cup of tea with people. Also, I do enjoy my own space and time to myself and likewise respect the space of others. Myself and a friend, who is also a fourth year pharmacy student next year (she works part time at one of the hospitals) are looking to team up with one or two other people for a 3 or 4 bedroom house to rent or for two bedrooms in a share house. My current lease ends in the middle of January so I'm hoping to move sometime between the 6th-22nd of January.
Hi there! I love cooking, and doing creative things. I am a tidy person who wants a happy home life as much as going out and doing activities. I want to become friends with my room mates but also already have my own life. Having a nice dinner party or drinks every now and then would be lovely. Also my bf tends to stop by twice a week, so I need roommate(s) who are ok with him staying over.
Hey, my name is Philly. I am an easy going 22 year old gal who is down to earth and friendly. I have lived in share houses for a couple of years now, so I am very clean and easy to live with. I am social - I don't mind a glass of wine and some trash tv (see: The Bachelor), but also respect others' privacy and don't mind being on my own. I work full time as an Occupational Therapist at a hospital, and I often spend weekends hanging out with a group of mates, being active outside or looking for a place to swim. I'm looking for people to live with who are also friendly, clean, easy going and in their 20's. Swing me a message if you've got a place you think I'd be keen on! Cheers. Also you can find me on Facebook and swing me a message there if you can't send me a message here. :)
Hi there! We are a friendly, social couple from the Netherlands and we will arrive in Brisbane the 21th December. I (Wendy) will work on a research project at the AIBN (UQ) from January till July and KJ will find a job during this time. We are looking for an furnished accommodation with own bathroom. We don't have pets, but we don't mind it if there are pets in the house (we love animals, also have a cat of our own, but we can't bring her... ). If you would like to know more about us, feel free to contact us.
Leah, 22 and coming towards the end of my current lease and looking to relocate! Im looking around inner city/ south-east Brisbane e.g. West End/Southbank,Woolloongabba, Kangaroo point, the valley, New farm, Paddington, red hill, Coorparoo, Camp hill, etc etc. A bit about me - I work full time in admin in an accountancy firm in the city! I love going to to dinner, watching movies and going out with friends on the weekend!
Hi! I've been living with three other wonderful housemates for almost 2 years now, with a big change of heading into university in 2018 I'm looking to downsize my living situation and also gain some quiet space. I'm super friendly, love to make people feel comfortable and I'm told I have great conversation skills - so if you've had a bad day I am all ears! During the week I work/will be attending uni and in my down time you can find me going for walks, going to gym, spending time with family and friends or just relaxing at home. Whilst I am looking for a place that is a bit quieter than where I am now, I am by all means still happy to kick back on a Friday afternoon with a wine and take way or to head out with some friends on the weekend for some drinks. I am very tidy, I believe things have a place rather than being thrown about here and there and I keep my share of bills up to date. I'd ideally like to live with someone like-minded :)
I'm friendly, polite, clean, sensible and intuitive. My interests include Basketball, computers, games, music, watching TV shows/movies, reading and learning. I'm a textbook introvert and tend to do my own thing most of the time, but I don't mind hanging out every now and then. I would like to meet some new people. I moved to Brisbane a month ago and have a job lined up which I'm hoping to start in the near future. My moving date will be based around the job and may change, but should be late January.
Hi, My names Ned and I currently live in Springfield Lakes, I am currently searching for a 1 bedroom or studio apartment for myself to be closer to the city. I am a responsible, clean, and reliable young professional. Please contact me if your apartment fits my criteria and budget. I am not interested in shared accommodation, I would like a self contained unit. Thank you, - Ned
Not looking to move until the end of January 2018. I am a pretty open and honest person that's easy going and loves to have a laugh. I've been share housing for a few years, with friends or through flatmates.com and I think you only get better at sharing! I do like to develop a level of friendship with my housemates, its nice to come home and have a chat or a beverage together or watch a show you're all hooked on, as opposed to never speaking to one another and feeling like you're living with strangers who wouldn't know if you died in your room kind of thing. My room is usually in some state of mess but I have been improving on how long I keep it neat for, the rest of the shared area however is a different story and I always like to keep things tidy and not leave my shit everywhere (that's what my room is for right!). I try to think of the cleaning as just helping each other out and not a battle of whose done what how many times. I like clean space but am also not pedantic about it and get that sometimes we have periods we get busy or unmotivated and then we are back into taking care of the home more, that's life. I want to live in a fun, relaxed household that also respects each others space and the environment we live in. I don't mind friends or family coming over or if they need to crash for a weekend either. I find that I am out in the evenings a few times a week (pilates or catching up with a friend), and one or two nights i like to chill at home. Weekends I seem to be out a lot, every so often have a chill day at home. I have family down the gold coast so I sometimes go and stay with them. I seem to jet off for weekends to visit family or friends as well. I am a lover of travel and love to talk about travel ideas and people's experiences. I am looking for a room no more that $190 a week with bills included or no more than $180 a week without bills included, but may be able to reconsider this for the right place :-) I am looking to share with one to two people. My goal for 2018 is to save more, have a holiday, and get outdoors more and live a healthier lifestyle (but if you want to share a pizza Im also down for that). I enjoy watching sports with friends, some trash shows, as well as your documentaries and things that get you thinking. I work for government full-time, mon to fri 9-5 gig so I have no problems paying my bills. If you would like to know anything else feel free to ask :-)
We're a young married couple relocating to Brisbane on 23.01.2018 We are both working professionals. Looking for an ensuite/bedroom with own bathroom for 250aud (max) inclusive of all bills. If however you are looking to team up, we're all ears! We're clean and tidy, and a believer in personal space. We love animals too, so if you've got a furkid we don't mind helping out with the pets.
Hey, I'm Thaynara, 24, english student and nanny. I'm looking for clean, orgazined, and fun house. I'm really easy going, friendly and clean, I just need my space for study, rilex and watch netflix haha But I'm very social too, I like do things together with my flatmates, be friend, and trainning my english :) If you want know more about me, let me know, send me a message!
Hi guys, I am FIFO and am working out of the state most of my life. During my off swing I normally try and get away for holidays which means I am hardly ever home (depending on how social you are, that could be a good or bad thing I guess). I'm chilled out and easy going. Social, but I also know how to respect someone's privacy. I am renting out a home of my own where I come from so I understand the importance of respecting another's property! Plan is eventually to live in Brisbane, so I am after something short term (2-6 months maybe more) to give me enough time to get to know the greater Brisbane area and find a home of my own. Cheers guys ;)
Hi there, we're a couple that met while living in Whistler, BC (I'm Canadian). Once Ben finished his working holiday in Canada, I decided to do one in Ben's homeland of Aus. We will live for the year in Brisbane - Ben will be attending UQ and I'll be working full-time. We both enjoy sports, music, and having casual pints. We lived together with a large number of flatmates in Whistler, so we're experts at doing our part in a communal environment - cleaning up after ourselves, pitching in, paying rent and utilities on time, and enjoying some friendly banter with our flatmates! We look forward to meeting you!
Hey there! I’m a 23 year old bartender that generally works nights and weekends. It will basically be like I’m never at home because I’m either at work, at the gym, or spending my few days off with friends. I love people and living up the good life :)
Am moving up to Brisbane to study at UQ. Will be kept busy enough with uni, sport and work to keep me occupied, but also love having a drink and socialising in my downtime. Very easy going, respectful of others space, organised, clean and tidy.
My name is Isabel, and I study engineering at the University of Queensland. I'm originally from Sydney, and have been living in Brisbane for the last year. I'm looking for a place where I can relax and make friends with my housemates, while respecting privacy and personal space. I'm not a particularly noisy person, and always keep my space tidy, but I don't mind others getting a bit louder on weekends (and enjoy having friends over when it's reasonable). My hobbies include cooking and bushwalking. I also have a pet dog, a 5 year old Border Collie named Jago. He's extremely friendly and well behaved, loves people of all ages, and is fully trained (house trained, currently lives with a cat, knows basic tricks, and heels off-leash). I walk him daily, and having him around is super important to me - so a fenced garden would be a requirement. He goes indoors at the moment, but has been a fully outdoor pet in the past.

I enjoy watching movies, binge watch tv shows, reading, yoga, baking and hiking. I have a first aid certificate and working with children's check WWCC. My achievements include eating 1kg of cheese, a whole cake and an entire pizza in one sitting. I will be starting a full-time job at Teneriffe/Woollongabba Vet Clinic in mid-Jan and I am happy to live in suburbs that are within a 20 minute drive to my workplace. ESSENTIAL: Will need a parking spot (off/on street/paid permit is fine). My partner lives in Sydney and I would like to know that it is okay (with all house mates) for him to stay for the weekend every 8 weeks. We alternate flying to Sydney and Brisbane every 4 weeks.
