I will be working in Rocklea full time at the start of next year. I enjoy going to the gym and learning to play the guitar in my spare time. I am a very clean and tidy person and quite easy to get along with :). I will be respectful of people's space if needed and also keen to hang out on weekends and do fun things. Just looking to live with people that are friendly but also like to socialize and have fun. Would be looking for more of a younger household in the 20-30 range.
Hiya! I work at a dental specialists in South Brisbane and spend my evenings after work at the gym, jogging or being a couch potato. My weekends are pretty chilled these day, I rarely go out for a night on the town (not that I’m against it but I just can’t handle the 2 day hangover anymore!). Weekend brunch dates are more my style but I do enjoy a wine or spritzer to unwind. Oh and the cheese platters! I’m looking for a long term place to call home, because let’s be honest no one likes moving! I’m a really tidy person, and think of myself as very considerate. Hoping to find someone kind and like minded to live with. Im moving due to family needing my current place, and hoping to find somewhere to move around March/April. Look forward to chatting! Jayde
Hi there, Originally from Melbourne, I am a part time student who has relocated to Brisbane to train full time for Triathlon at an elite level. I spend most of my days either training or studying. Fairly quite but enjoy catching up with friends, attempting to cook and spending time in the sun at the beach!
Hi, I'm Detti, I'm 18 years old and from Germany. I'm traveling through Australia on a working holiday visa and I'd love to get to know new people and make some friends. I absolutely love traveling, hiking, swimming, music and just being outside in the sun. I'm really flexible and easy going, happy to help wherever I can and I'm looking for a place to stay in Brisbane for about 1.5 months. :)
I'm a 23 year-old Swedish student coming to Brisbane for university exchange studies the upcoming semester. Very tidy and calm. Hi, my name is Tom and I'm studying Engineering at UQ St Lucia. I am a friendly and easy going person who enjoys interacting with others and my own personal time equally. Hi I’m Marius. A DJ from Berlin. I’m into sustainability, art, travel, surfing, sports, sunny happy days and girls. And I’m in Brisbane for an engineering management internship. I’m looking to live in a pretty house with interesting flat mates close to south bank so I can go for a swim or wander around the museums, get some sushi at sushi hub or enjoy soy latte.
My name is Lily, I'm 23, and moved up to Brisbane from Melbourne to study next year at UQ. I like a good chat in common areas, and would prefer housemates I click with, but general cleanliness and respect is what I'm after the most. Ideally looking for a place with a cleaning roster so we can all be held accountable! I don't need a furnished room but don't have household items beyond bedroom furniture, so ideally looking for a team up with someone who might have a couch/fridge/washing machine etc, or a place that has these things already. I work at a gym so I do a couple of very early mornings a few times a week(starting at 4:45am) so I'm ideally looking for somewhere quiet enough for my early nights but people who sleep deeply enough to not be woken by me when I'm up at 3am getting ready(I try SO hard to be quiet). I'd love to find a place with a bit of cultural diversity and open-mindedness, with people down for a chat or who are on the same political and social page as me - this includes progressive thinking in regards to race, gender, sexuality, etc. Ideally not looking to live with cishet men, but exceptions can be made for people who are considerate and responsible.

Working in normal hours at Brisbane convention and exhibition, and work away from home(Brisbane) from time to time, not much into cooking, looking for somewhere to live in/near by south bank( walking destination to BCEC), and a parking lot is definitely, long/short team is ok, into healthy lifestyle, enjoy outdoor activities, catch up with friends very so often. I don’t smoke and very little alcohol, clear and tidy, and I have my own furniture
Hi! I’m Michele, a future exchange student in the University of Queensland. I came from Milan and I’m going to do my last semester of study in Brisbane. I’m looking for a room to rent for my six moths which I’ll stay in Brisbane, after I checked out a lot of rooms and I decide to write to you for your house because I think that I could fit in your housemate description. I’ll try to introduce myself, very shortly, to make you understand who I am. I’m a 23 years old Italian guy, as other guys I like travel, read and sports. But I also love what I study, architecture, and I’m into all the topics connected to it, as photography, cinema and art. About who I’m as housemate, I’m pretty order and clean. I’m not an Italian chef but I can cook something and I can keep clean the kitchen. I’m a Netflix fan but I prefer spend my nights hanging out or taking a beer with somebody! For what concern my permanence in Brisbane, I plan to arrive there the 6 of February and I’ll stay there for six months so until July. I’ll spend most of my days in university and the other days I would like to travel and visit places near Brisbane. I’m not the typical sofa-guy. I’m sorry if I describe to much about myself but I don’t really know how this stuff works, I just hope that you understand which kind of person I am. I hope that I could fit in you house-mate profile! Thank you to read this letter and now I’m waiting for your answer!
I'm a pretty cool science nerd and will be a student at UQ in Feb 2019. I'm looking for an affordable place to stay ( $160-$190 ish a week). I'm fine with anywhere around UQ in St Lucia. I'll be spending most of my time at school therefore I'm quite flexible with the living conditions. I'll be in Brisbane till Dec 2019.
I'm a 22 year old engineering student from Norway who is looking for a place in Brisbane to call home until June/July. In addition to studying full time, I work as a lighting technician at a concert venue in Norway and as a teaching assistant at my home uni. My hobbies include playing the piano, reading and caring for all my plants. However, as I'm new to Brisbane, I'm looking for new hobbies and new things to do to keep busy. I'm looking for a private, preferably furnished, room in a social share house.
Hi, I'm Lucy from South Korea. I am looking for a private room at the moment cause my current housemates(a couple, we are friends) are moving into a house alone in February. I'm happy for them however I will miss their cats a lot haha. I'm studying Early Childhood Education and Care while working at the childcare centre casually. I also have a part-time job as a salesperson as well so I'm pretty busy during the week. I'm friendly and open-minded but introverted so I would stay in my room to recharge myself after work mostly. I love reading books, yoga, spending time in nature, watching movies & documentaries, listening to music, meaningful conversations, tidying up and so on :)
Hello there! Here are a few quick points about me: • I will be working at the University of Queensland as a researcher/postdoc. • I work about 6 days a week • I have lived in shared houses most of my life in Greece, UK and Germany. • Not much of a party animal, more into good wine, good food and an interesting conversation • I am an excellent cook with a repertoire that has been tried and tested successfully in countless dinner dates over the years. • In terms of hobbies: I love chess and cycling and I plan to start going to the gym in a bit more regular basis. I also enjoy dancing and I have taken classes in salsa, hip hop and swing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I am looking for: • Shared accommodation with one-two more people (maybe I will consider up to 3 if everything else seems to fit well). • a neat tidy and organized property. • I would prefer to live in a non-smoking property, as it would help with my efforts of quitting smoking. • I love animals, so living with pets is not an issue. • My ideal flatmates would be the kind of people that I could share a glass of wine with, would be easy going, tidy and have sense of humor. • I am looking for a place I can call home, and ideally would like to stay there for up to 4,5 years. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I am currently in the UK, I will be looking for a videocall inspection so I can get a feeling for the property and we can see if we feel we would be a good fit. Thanks for taking the time to read my ad!

Love a chat as well as time to self. Always up for a beach trip, game of cards against humanity and joining a flatmate for a beer. I'm clean and tidy but not a neat freak. (Sunglasses from pic no longer part of wardrobe lol)
