Hi there! I’m looking for somewhere to call home for a while. I’m social but prefer a wine or dinner to big parties. I'm a pretty lazy cook (so I won’t crowd the kitchen) - I eat an awful lot of toast - but I'm happy to clean up if someone else is cooking. I work two jobs, teaching and running winery tours so I’m pretty busy. I love dogs and can tolerate cats. I’m pretty active and like to keep fit. I'm still in my 30's and totally in denial about that coming to an end any moment. Oh, I need to move at the beginning of January. And that's about it!
I work in the CBD full-time as a lawyer for a not for profit. Work will require travel for up to a week at a time in 2019. I’m a conscientious housemate and keep a clean and tidy living space. During the week, I’m fairly routined. I do enjoy my quiet time because I have a demanding job. I enjoy a vino and socialising too! I like to get away some weekends for beach/outdoor adventures, or a flight away to see friends.
Doctor from Belfast moving to Brisbane in January to work for 1-2 years. Looking for a room in Kangaroo point, South Brisbane or West end for 6 months +; preferably with own bathroom. Looking for flatmates who are social and don't mind me working night shifts etc
Please note that I won't be able to move before 20th January 2019 and I'm only free for viewings from 12th January 2019. I’m coming to Brisbane to study for 2 years and would like to find a nice home to live in. I’m from the UK and will be taking a break from my 12 year career in technology to study at a college in the CBD. I’ve lived on my own before and also own a house in the UK, so I know what it takes to look after a home. I’m not after a party house and prefer something a bit quieter. I'm hoping for a social house that respects quiet time on school nights;) I clean up after myself in common areas and keep my mess in my room. I like to get out in nature during my spare time and hope to do a little bit of travelling too. Sometimes, I may prefer to just chill out at home. Once I have found suitable accommodation to settle in to, I will get some part time office work to help pay the bills. A good functional kitchen is a must, a shared living area would also be ideal and perhaps a garden but the garden isn't essential. Good access to transport links is a must as I won’t have a car of my own. I’ll need access to the internet to enable me to do some home study. I am open to other areas not listed in my profile, the ones I’ve listed are just a few I’m familiar with. Preferably no further than fare zone 2 on the train network. Get in touch! Please only contact me via Flatmates in the first instance. I tend not to respond to unknown messages on my mobile. Thank you.
Hey there I’m Ally, I’m kind, considerate and fun. Well traveled, well spoken, well mannered. Lived OS for many years. Love to discover new places, like to keep active and have a very positive, happy demeanor. Very clean, tidy and considerate with no personality issues. Looking for someone similar to share with; easy going, tidy people, happy to share a story or a glass of something with occasionally, who also has their own space. Happy for a furnished room with my own bathroom, ideally with a car park and bills included where possible however am flexible on all accounts for the right place. I work weekday evenings and part time during the days. Pretty busy schedule so am not around too much - perfect Flatmate!
Hi guys, My name is Mark, I'm doing marketing and pr, love cooking.foodie and movie is totally my thing. I work from 9am-5pm weekdays, quite and tidy. Respectful, not into party at all. Would love find a nice bar to have a drink or a nice cafe during the weekend.
Me and Alice are full time students at UQ and looking to move out with preferably female students start of feb or end of jan. We are both fun, cleanly individuals and superrrr easy to get along with, always down for a laugh. We love to hang out, have a good time but also have some time to ourselves. We were both in college last year and it taught us a hell of a lot about living with all sorts of people. Honestly just looking for some people like us to move in with. Both wanting around $150 per week individually.
I'm looking for a new place to call home in mid-January 2019 (maybe early January). I am respectful, easy to get along with and have a good sense of humour. I am honest, trustworthy and super organised, I have been responsible for paying all the utility bills on time for the past 2 years. I am an outgoing person but I also love to stay at home and watch Netflix. I am a clean and tidy person as well. I am currently completing my Masters. I also work part-time in women's fashion in the city.
- Clean - Friendly - Quiet - Tidy - Can make great vegan food - Non smoker - Likes to read and likes art galleries - Not rude - Not needy - Loves animals - Pays bills on time - Vegan - Likes nice people is nice I am looking for a nice place with nice and peaceful, clean and healthy people to live with in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs. I’m happy to consider any place within 30-45 minutes of Brisbane city. My move is not urgent and I can move any time. Please contact me if you think we could live together in harmony and with ease. Thank you.
Hi potential roomie, In blunt terms - I am in the process of sadly exiting a LT relationship, so a little fragile but I am keen to live with someone positive and who will be a good influence on my general headspace and well being. ❤️ About me: Full time shift worker within the government sector. This involves hours all over the show from 3am starts and 2 am finishes on a rotational roster. For this, I am strictly not into the party scene or any real craziness at home, (that was in my 20’s as cabin crew). However, the odd friend for dinner is welcome. 😀 I love getting outdoors and my down time is saddling up a horse and riding, or laying by the beach. Huge animal lover of all shapes and sizes. Mostly a home body now as days off I try and relax as much as I can. Clean, tidy, respectful and I like to be organised. I am not a fan of the messy house as I am the more house proud type. I will have the occasional drink and laugh when I can, and happy to mingle when time permits. However, I am a fan of my own time though. This comes from working day in, day out with people. All bills / rent paid on time and with priority. Looking for potentially a room or house with a good human with the mature outlook. My current lease ends Feb 1st, 2019. Hit me up for a coffee and a chat. 🤙🏼 Cheers - Timmy
Hello, my name is Emma and I am looking for some new roomies! I currently live on the Fairfield side of Annerley and I love it! I wouldn't move but my housemates are moving for work and I am not around over Christmas to look for new housemates. I am actually a psychology masters student and I work part time but the structure of my course means that I have a schedule more similar to a full time worker and I quite enjoy living with other full time workers (as I do now). I am super chatty, and social but honestly I am just not really home very much because of my work/uni schedule. When I do get a bit of free time I like to go the beach, do fitness-y type stuff and go to local music gigs. After living in many a share-house now I can safety say I am pretty easy to live with although I am quite particular about having a clean kitchen (as in just do your dishes after you have used them and we will be all good). I would also prefer not to live with smokers and I am not super keen on the kind of pets that put fur on everything (but totally cool with those that don't) I need to be out of my currently place by the 25th so if you are looking for a fairly cruisy, clean and friendly housemate, shoot me a message.
ABOUT ME: Hi there, I am an easygoing, respectful, full of common sense, humorous but not rude Sydneysider ;) who is looking for her new home in Brisbane! ABOUT ME & MY FUTURE FLATMATE: I'd love to live with someone that is (similar to me) friendly, sociable, easy-going but also understands the need for privacy when necessary. MY PAST RENTAL HISTORY: I have been a lease-holder myself for the last 8 years, so you know I can pay my rent on time, handle landlords and share with others :) as if that wasn't enough I am more than willing to be flexible around stay length. But I'd prefer somewhere for a minimum of 6 months+ at least. WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN BRISBANE: I will be attending Griffith University to begin a Masters of Speech Pathology at the Nathan campus. I will be extremely busy, study 3-4 days (full time on campus) and in placement 1-2 days a week, in the first year. This is all during normal business hours. MY IDEAL HOME & LOCATION: I am looking for somewhere to live that is homely, easy-going, clean but not obsessive, quiet when it needs to be but not too quiet (I am not a hermit :). Somewhere that is furnished, airconditing is key as I suffer from migraines in extreme heat, would prefer bills/internet to be included in rent. I am looking for an area that doesn't necessarily need to be right next door to Nathan, but rather an area where there is a community field, shops, entertainment, safe, close to transport, close to Brisbane CBD, Nathan campus or in-between! I have my own car and will also need somewhere that I can park easily on the street (if necessary). WHEN CAN I MOVE IN: I will be arriving in Brisbane on the 3rd Jan 2019 staying in temporary accommodation and will be looking for the right person/right place to live. I would be looking to move in immediately, once I find the right flatmate/home. Cheers, Rach :)
I'm full time working professional and a part time student from Poland. I'm looking for a quite place where I could relax after work. I'm easy going, tidy and I like travelling, going out on the weekend and meeting new people. I would like to live in Newstead or surroundings areas as I enjoy the area and I work close by. Looking to rent a single room with ideally separate bathroom.
I'm a student working part time so I honestly just keep to myself really when I'm at home, but I'm also always keen for doing stuff with housemates and all that. I play music but Im yet to receive a noise complaint so hopefully that's not too much of an issue.
Hi my names Caitlin! I’m 21, I’m looking at moving up here by February from a small town by the coast I grew up in. In my place now I share with two others, we enjoy occasional drinks on the weekend and hanging out but also spending time alone too. I like keeping my place tidy. I’d need to live close to transport as I don’t have a car. Feel free to message me if you wanna look at a place together or have something you think I might be interested in :)
Looking to add to a homely atmosphere! I bring a warm smile and easy going personality and a love for cooking to the table. I work fulltime as an apprentice chef at a brunch cafe so no late nights for me. Enjoy a glass of wine and spinning a vinyll on weekends.
We’re both professional, respectful and clean. Usually out either working or getting the most out of life and having fun. Really friendly and just looking for a place to stay till we get approved for our own place unless we love the place we find and join here. 🙂 Anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to help us on our way or join your amazing place. ☺️
I am unfortunately moving out of an annerley sharehouse I lived in for the last 8 years. Ive always paid rent on time, cleaned up after myself and encouraged a creative atmosphere in my shared living environments. After a spending my twenties working part time and doing the music thing I am now working full time as a a warehouse manager. I’m now looking to live somewhere a bit nicer and news than where I have been. I like a social but reserved house during the week and something a little more relaxed on the weekends I guess. I like going to the pub or maybe a restaurant a few nights during week and gigs on the weekend. I have a fish tank and some pot plants i’d like to bring with me if possible.
Looking for a peaceful place to call home. About us: We enjoy cooking healthily with fresh produce, going to markets and exercising. Hanna works full-time FIFO in mental health. Sharna works full-time as a Remedial Massage Therapist. We are a couple who try to be environmentally conscious and we love animals. The Dream: Living close to the water, public transport and local parks. Being in a social house of people with similar interests, sometimes playing board games or catching up over a drink. Also, we love dogs! Necessary: LGBTI+ friendly. Own ensuite. Large bedroom. Spacious full-functional kitchen and inviting living areas. House with large fridge and washing machine. Unfortunately Hanna is very allergic to cats. Open to signing a lease, living in an independent house, joining an established share house, or creating our own share house. We have one car, bedroom furniture, and own linen and kitchen things (no large appliances). We don't drink often and are non-smokers.
I will be moving to Brisbane for uni so I am looking for a private room in a share house. I am a quiet, clean, easy-going foodie who enjoys reading and a friendly chat now and then. I have a Japanese background but raised in Australia, so I am fluent in both languages.
