I am making the move from sunny Queensland down to Sydney as this is where most of my work is. I am freelance in TV and so usually would be working longish hours during the week or sometimes working from home. I am looking to move early July and am keen to find somewhere soon as I have a gorgeous old dog and want to find a happy home for us both. I am happy to pay a little in advance to secure the right place. I would love a decent sized room in a house with a fully fenced dog friendly garden. I am easy-going, clean, optimistic and the usual when it comes to being sociable - love a glass of wine and a chat - but also like my own space and respect yours. Interests wise I love swimming, walking, being by the beach - in and on and by the water, I love playing squash, live music, drinking wine with friends, laughing, films, theatre, doco's and am a sucker for crime dramas. I am looking for somewhere with warm and friendly housemate/s, a relaxed atmosphere but not a party house, and housemate/s that will be kind to the dog! Storm (the dog) is a grand old lady, gets on really well with other dogs, loves human company, never barks, sleeps a lot and is generally adorable. I would arrange for a dog walker to take her out in the middle of the day when I was at work. I will be in Sydney on Sat, Sunday and Monday (26th, 27th and 28th May to look at places so please do get in touch if you have something that might work. Thanks so much

Hi, I'm Jade and I'm moving to Sydney from Bristol, UK in July. I'll be an exchange student at Macquarie University and am looking for somewhere to call home for the year! I'm clean, sociable (but respect your space too!) and easy to live with. Looking for a private room furnished with at least a bed, but other than that I'm easy, just looking for some rad housemates - as I know exactly 0 people in Sydney at the moment. I'll be looking for a part time job in an office or cafe once I get there and be looking to join some sports teams/societies at uni so won't be one that is at home all the time but will happily hang out when I am! I'm not new to Australia as I lived a year in Melbourne in 2016/17 and I'm looking forward to seeing what Sydney has to offer, though I may spend a few weekends down there anyway. I know my move date is a little ways off yet, but if you have a room becoming free in July I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading :) Jade
Hi there! We're a young professional couple currently living in the UK. Matt is a South African + Aussie dual citizen, and Sarah is a Brit. (She's such a Brit!) Matt works in management consulting for a well-known firm, and Sarah works for a global healthcare communication firm. (i.e., we'll pay rent on time! ;) ). We met while completing our masters degrees at Oxford in 2016. We're relocating to Sydney for work, and are looking for some awesome accommodation. (Near the beach! Yay!) Matt will relocate in mid-June, and Sarah will join in October. We're easy going and very friendly, and get on well with pretty much everyone. We love the great outdoors, adventure travel, running, coffee, wine, and international cooking. Our ideal housemates would be open to socialising, and perhaps having dinner together once or twice per week. However, we're not party people! ;) Please feel free to get in touch if you're interested in following up :)
I am looking for a private room, i am from Greece and working here. Preferably furnished and preferably close to a train station as i work in Rosebery and studie some nights in the city - though not a deal breaker. I am 27 years old, quiet but I can socialise if i feel comfortable. I am hoping to find a neat and tidy place where i can also make friends with the flatmates as I am a bit shy.
My name is Bryce and I have recently moved to Sydney from Western Australia. Here is a brief background on myself- I am 26 and a hard working High Voltage electrician. I have done fly in fly out for the last 5 years based from Perth and am now working on one of the new tunnels here in Sydney for a change in scenery. I am hard working, clean and respectful. I am working shift work at the moment so I will not be around too often other than sleeping and the occasional RDO. In my spare time I like to keep fit and active by running and exploring beaches and national parks. Happy to answer any other questions you have. Cheers and look forward to hearing from you, Bryce M.
