Have been living out of home for a few years now in a sharehouse so I've got my s#!t together (I think). Would like to live with some cool, friendly people. Im a student and a bartender. Am quite social. I don't really drink. I like physical avtivity as well as quieter thing like reading, board/card games, movies/tv series.
Hey there! :) I'm Sam, 27, currently working full time in the city as a producer in the magazine industry. I'm very easy going, creative and well-traveled. I love photography, cooking, yoga, beach time, meeting new people, seeing live bands, but also really enjoy chill time at home. I'm very reliable, considerate + tidy!
My name is Tammy and I am looking for somewhere to call home in the Balmain area. I am a career focused individual who enjoys a social glass of wine over dinner. I am climbing the career ladder now and I give most of my focus to this aspect of my life. I also like to stay health and fit. I enjoy socialising and going to nice bars and restaurants. My goal is to eventually buy in Balmain but now I have settling to house sharing or renting a studio apartment. Why Balmain; Well I love the lifestyle it offers. With my favourite “charlottes café”, Ballast point park and gorgeous Sydney harbour and CBD skyline view, I cannot image choosing any other location home. As your house mate; Im clean, fun and social. I’d love to meet for a Friday night drink after work and even the odd night out on the town. I enjoy my own time too, so I may hide away in my room and read or watch Netflix but most often you’ll find me outside in a park on a picnic rug. I hope I get the chance to meet with you and to chat about your available room and even make a new friend in the area. Tammy
Hi, I'm Chris, I run a telecommunications construction company which keeps me awfully busy on weekdays 7-7 at least (and 1 or more days in the weekends). When i'm not working i am either out with friends enjoying a drink or im on my Boat fishing, skiing or any other fun stuff a boat brings. I come with my best friend Phil- a West highland white terrier who is 18 months old, completely house trained and joins me at work everyday because, well, he thinks he is a human. He wont do tricks for teats but ofcourse expects the treat. My busy lifestyle encourages me to have a simple and low maintenance home life where i love a quiet drink in the evening, even more so if you do to!
Hi there, My name is Natalie. I am looking to start fresh in a new part of Sydney after growing up initially in Mascot then moved to acres on the outskirts of Western Sydney. I have a 9.5 yr old daughter who stays with me every second weekend but isn't much trouble at all as she is extremely independent, social and kind. I am extremely career focused and I work long hours as a Facilities and Maintenance Mgr for a large company and would love to come home to a place that is inviting. I love cooking and a bit of a clean freak. I am a independent, witty and love a little banter when the time calls for it. I respect those around me and value personal space. I love entertaining but don't find I do it much at all these days as my weekends are usually kept busy out and about.
Hi, we're moving to Sydney from London and looking to find a great place in the inner west suburbs-Balmain/Rozelle or lower north shores area. Keen to live with like-minded, easy-going people who're keen for a laugh but also reliable and considerate other other housemates etc. About us: Mark (English) is a 28yo professional who loves his sport, likes a beer and loves to cook! Jen (Scottish) also 28, works in banking, likes going to the gym, chilling out watching tv and enjoys a cheeky gin from time to time! We're both pretty chilled out, easy to get on with and respectful of other housemates etc. Looking to find somewhere to move in from end of April. Cheers, Mark & Jen
Hey! I'm moving over from London for a 2 year secondment in Sydney. Love meeting new people, spending time with friends, cocktails, yoga and generally getting out and being active! Excited to make the most of the Australian sunshine (with a big supply of factor 50!)
Hi, I am working fulltime in the CBD and look for a place to stay relatively close. I love to travel everywhere and any time it is possible. Originally from Europe and moved to Perth 7 years ago. Recently relocated to Sydney. Love motors and anything IT related.
Fun, friendly, long time sharer of houses, with no complaints thus far and plenty of good friends made along the way. Melbourne > Sydney via a few stints living and working in a few different countries. Lefty lawyer, music & animal lover (will walk your dog), festival goer, into politics/social justice but also meditation and yoga, usually out and about at social activities or some obscure art/ethics/spirituality/science/tech event during the week and often off camping and hiking on the weekends. Ideally looking for like minded people and a house with lots of laughter that's a short walk to the beach. I need parking and a fairly decent sized bedroom to fit my regular as well as my fancy dress clothes =) Queer and all nationalities friendly.
Hey future flatmates! I've moved up from Melbourne for a new position in banking/IT in Barangaroo. I can stay with family while I search so am semi-flexible with dates. I'll be moving up with just my personal things so happy to have a furnished house but furnish my own room. I'm originally from Canada (near Vancouver). I'm laid back, enjoy a clean home (and of course help with all the chores, no roster necessary!), and cook a few times a week when I'm not out. Would like to live in a non-smoking home, not a party home, but am happy to have a wine (or two!). Also love going to the gym/running, brunch, and any random fun activities I can get my hands on. Pretty new to all the different suburbs so not sure exactly what I'm looking for, so feel free to message me if you think I'd be a good fit! Something close to the city (I'll be working in Barangaroo) would be ideal. I also have a car that I would super love to be able to park off the street but either way, if there's street parking then I'll take that too.
My name is andrew i am a 44 year old professional who works in leichhardt. Im easy going guy, very quite and respectful of other people. looking for somewhere around the peninsula to call home.Moved here from campbelltown 7 months ago and fell in love with the area.I am currently living in rozelle but have to move because landlords daughter is coming to live in aus from america .I am very clean and tidy + very handy around the house (Maintenance ect)
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
Hi, I am a full time working student. Together with my boyfriend we are looking for a place closer (<30min by public transport) to the city. We are active people, love to spend time outside, travel, do different kind of sports and simply hang out. We love doing BBQs and listening to music so it would be nice to live with someone who shares the same feelings. :) We are both working, reliable, not smoking and without pets. We would love to live in a neighborhood where it is nice to walk in the evening and with people who would like to have a common dinner from time to time. :)
Hello Sydney I'm Andrew 44 yrs and my partner is Michelle 36 yrs, we are a very domesticated Aussie couple looking for a home not a party pad. We are really easy going, friendly and helpful. Both working, so quality home time is valued and needed. Great cooks and gardeners (I'm a Horticulturist and Michelle is a Chef/ Barista/ Bartender) so we can enjoy small social gathering if they happen. We are quite self contained respectful and responsible. We have have lived in many shared places and get along with all ages- except those who require a mummy or daddy.
Moving to Sydney for work as a sonograher. I work full time Monday-Friday with some weekend shift work. Looking for like minded housemates who are easy going and enjoy a clean well kept home. Looking for a friendly house were we're not strangers yet respect each other's space. I enjoy cooking and normally make enough to share :) On the weekends I don't mind a glass of wine with friends but not looking for a party house. I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring new places and am fairly active on the weekend. I'm looking to move start of march and am flexible with dates. My job is in St Leonards so looking around that area.
Hi I'm Bonnie, I am a 26 year old professional looking to find a new apartment preferably with 1-2 roommates. I am super clean and tidy, respectful, social and easy going. If you have a room or would like to teamup please send me a message. Thanks :)
Hi! My name is Franzi, a full-time international business student. Originally from Germany, I have moved to Sydney to study the Master of Research program at Macquarie University for one semester. I have lived in shared flats before (three times) and I am easy-going, reliable and respectful of shared spaces and privacy. I enjoy relaxed and calm evenings watching Netflix, having a chat and a nice dinner. In my spare time, I like to do sports (interval training, running, badminton), spend time with friends and explore Sydney. I am keen on living with like minded people who value having a neat and tidy flat to come home to. The ideal place would be a private and furnished room (but open to room share) in a quiet shared flat.
Hi, my name is Sarah. I am 23 and working full-time at a hospital. Looking for = open, spacious place, neat, relaxed, quiet. A place with a backyard is perfect as I would like to have a herb garden. About me = clean, tidy, easy-going. During the week I like to run, read books, watch tv series and cook food. On weekends I tend to take advantage of the sun and be as active as I can be.
Hi housemates! I'm from Barcelona and I am a geologist, currently employed as a postdoc (full-time researcher) at Macquarie Univeristy. This means that every now and then I have to spend long hours in the lab... but I really like the idea of going back to a place that I can call "home" every evening. I'm looking for a place close to the city, but near a train station going to Macquarie uni, since I don't want to spend too much time commutting every day. I'm very open-minded, friendly and I like meeting new people from other cultures. Actually, I always thought that this is the best thing about living in Australia! And after a few years here, I can confirm that aussie people are absolutely great... so as far as my housemates are nice and sociable people, I'm fine! I'm active, I like outdoor activities (climbing, caving, hiking and canyoning) and I've been playing volleyball since I was 12. I love reading, playing board games and travelling (a lot!). Ah, and I have a passion since I was a child: human towers. You're more than welcome to join our team, but that's another story... ;) I have been living in Sydney (Macquarie uni area) for more than 2 years now, always sharing a house, so I'm used to it and you'll have no complain about me, since I'm a very clean and easy-going girl. My landlady and housemates will confirm both! To be honest, I'm very sad to leave my current place and my friends who have become my Australian family, but my landlady had to rent my room while I was away for work for 2 months and I have no option but to find somewhere else to stay. I'm looking for a clean and tidy house to stay at least 3 months, with nice and sociable housemates (not crazy parties in the house though, I have to be able to rest during the week!); people who are happy to do activities together and share some meals from time to time. Obviously no need to say that I'll definitely respect your privacy (and I hope that you will as well), but I'm not interested in a place where my housemates spend most of the time in their rooms! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you want to know more about me. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
Hey! :) I am an exchange student from Austria and I just arrived to Australia. I'm currently searching for a nice place to stay for the next 6 months. I love travelling, cooking, running, photography and meeting new people. I am looking for a place with people who enjoy activities together but also respect each other's privacy. If you are looking for somebody to rent your free room I would be very happy to meet you for a room inspection and to get to know each other!
Non Smoker, Quiet and respectful. works full-time and is looking at moving closer to work. More than happy to answer any questions. Shoot me a message :)
Hi, I'm an internetional student at Macquarie University. I come from Germany. I like to live with other people, to chat and do things together from time to time with my flatmates. I'm an open-minded person and like to get in touch with other people. I am clean and tidy and will be busy with university stuff so will be also quiet and considerate. In my leisure time I like doing sports, like Volleyball, jogging or trying any new kind of sports. I also like reading, having some rest and going out with friends. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Regards Alina
I'm a happy, friendly and easy-going type of person. I enjoy spending time with my friends on the weekend and live a pretty active life, but do like a bit of down time. I love going to the beach and out to little cafes and restaurants for a treat! I work full-time as a pre-school teacher and really enjoy what I do. I'm neat and tidy and am looking for a comfortable and relaxed place to unwind. I'm always up for a chat but am respectful and considerate of others. I've lived in Sydney my whole life and love it!
There's something about the lower north shore that draws me...so close to lots of water and lots of trees and big green spaces. I love bright light airy spaces to live in and I enjoy sharing and slowly getting to know new people I live with. I'm pretty tidy and do appreciate well maintained and well cared for spaces and enjoy doing my bit for that. I eat clean and green, don't imbibe anymore in anything and enjoy being outdoors and heading out for friends, study, work and travel. I guess I've a relatively steady routine during the week and like being totally into all things female especially on the weekend...face mask, mani, chilling (yes even housework and yard work) etc and I enjoy sharing a meal at home. I'm looking for an unfurnished room or space.
Hi there! I am 27 years old, working in mental health industry. I like to keep an active and healthy lifestyle. I value a respectful and clean living environment. I keep pretty busy and usually out doing my own thing but welcome a friendly chat when at home :) Please do not contact me for short-term listings :) I am interested in at least 6months+
Hi I am a 30 year old male professional, Project Manager, who works in the western suburbs. I have just moved to Sydney from Perth in the last couple of months and I am looking to live the Sydney Life and get closer to this amazing city. I have travelled the world and I’m still not done. Don’t think you ever can be. I am into sport, music, concerts, keeping fit and good coffee. I am an active person who likes going out with friends for a social drink or dinner. I have an outgoing personality and I am looking to move in with either male or female who have similar interests. I look forward to hearing from you. Brian
Hi, I'm a busy creative person coming to Sydney to make a film and am looking to share for about 6-9 months. This is my career change to finally do what I love. Am health conscious, don't smoke or drink. Am kind and considerate.
My name is Sarah and I'm 21 and looking to move out closer to work! I'm easy-going, and willing to compromise on living arrangements. I love to meet new people and would be happy with a team up if it works. I have lived in Western Sydney for my entire life, and now I work in a media agency down at Millers Point. I'm looking to move closer to work to make the commute to and from a little bit easier. I love animals, fitness and Netflix. (Good food and coffee is a must!) I'm self-sufficient, tidy and happy to pull my weight in rental costings and daily chores. I would love to have the occasional drink or dinner with new roommates and to get to know them better!
I am a permanent resident having moved from Scotland. I am clean, tidy and fun. I am younger at heart than my years say. I am looking to live with good people who are no drama.
We are a young couple aged 25 and 28 and both Australian. We are clean, friendly and easy-going. In our spare time we enjoy cooking or going out for a nice meal and drink, spending time at the beach, exercising and music gigs. Trent works as a Finance Analyst in North Sydney and I work casually as a nurse while studying Radiography. We are looking for somewhere to share around the lower North Shore with similarly laid back and friendly people. We do currently have all of our own furniture but we are happy to part with it if not needed :)
Hello! I'm a psychologist by training and a speechwriter by profession. Originally from the U.K., I'm on a six month sabbatical working in Sydney. Friends would probably describe me as good humoured, quiet, considerate. Big fan of 60s music, squash, chess and animal biology.
I am from Vienna, Austria, working currently as a Nurse there but need to study again to be able to work in Australia as well. I am not a good cook in general, but can do sweet main dishes. At home i go out with friends, go to the gym- irregular : ) In Sydney i still need to see and find out what to do for fun : )
Hi my name is Zein. I am looking for a tidy furnished room in a house. Am very sociable, easy going, helpful and clean. Am great with kids, pets etc. I work as a garden maintenance/ landscape labourer. And also do domestic and commercial cleaning on the side. Will be great to hear from you.
Single, 35 years old, full time PhD Student. No smoker, no pets, not really a party person. "Working" business hours at Royal North Shore Hospital. Looking for a private room to stay long term.
Hey I'm Leon, I'm usually social and outgoing, but I can end up spending heaps of time writing and reading, working on scripts and editing, practising cinematography and directing actors. Dance monkey, dance! I keep fit and healthy - I don’t drink or smoke anymore, and I no longer see the weekend as a 2 day bender - I’m focusing on other goals. But I still love to have fun and do adventurous stuff on the weekends, its just shifted slightly, more to nature and outdoors, rather than those ol' smoky bars and dance floors. In between film work I work contract IT jobs for those gold doubloons. If you like escape rooms, then please swipe right :) Looking forward to meeting you.
Hi potential flatmate! I come from Switzerland and I’m going to work for a year as a timber structures engineer in North Sydney. I'm easy going, friendly and quite. I like to do sport during my free time but also to have a drink with friends (or flatmates ;)). As I'm not used to have the ocean so close to me, I will be really happy to go to the beach or close to the ocean as soon as I can :)
I'm pretty easy going! And a lot of fun! Work a lot though so am not always home!!

Hey, I'm Janine :) I have been renting on my own in the North Sydney area for over a year now but am ready for a change. I work full time in North Sydney for a finance company. I have degree in Social Science and I enjoy being super active and I love the outdoors. I have 2 cats who have lived with me in my current unit who are very well behaved. I have all my own furniture so would prefer somewhere unfurnished. I also have my own car so somewhere with parking is essential :) I don't mind if it is on street parking but I will need somewhere where I can store a bike and a stand up paddle board. Cheers, Janine
Hey my name is Jesse and I really love the prospect of meeting new people and taking the extra steps through life. I am a very friendly natured and genuine dude whom is respectful of all those around me and likes to create a relaxed vibe. I am a full time student studying a course of business admin/ global studies meaning that I like to find a balance between fun times and quiet, focussed times. To my future room mate(s) I look forward to meeting you and am excited to start a new chapter of my life with new friendly people!!
I work in Chippendale full time as a writer for a marketing agency, and am studying my Cert III in Dog Trainership and Obedience on the side (so I'm pretty obsessed with dogs!) Into the gym, attempting to cook good food, watching movies, singing jazz music, playing piano and all that excellent stuff! Happy to be social or keep to myself! I'll be away for course training until the 18th March, and then looking to find somewhere for after that. Just thought I'd put the early call out! Basically looking for a place to crash and relax during the week after work :)
I'm a med student from Sweden, and I'm going to Sydney at the end of March where I will do a student exchange at university of Sydney. I've lived in Brisbane before, and really was just aching to return to Aus, so when this opportunity came up I jumped on it. I'll be spending the weekdays at Royal North Shore Hospital, and will be planning on doing as much exploring as possible during the weekends. I love travelling and exercising, and am hoping to find a good gym or bootcamp while there. I'm an easy person to live with, I respect the living area and I always tidy up after myself. I like to hang out, but I also respect people's personal space. I can also introduce you to some Swedish food (and curse words). I'm a non-smoker and do not have any pets, and would love a shared accomodation fairly close to Royal North Shore Hospital!
Hi everyone, I am a german vet student from Munich. I'm gonna be in Sydney for an 8 weeks internship in a veterinary clinic. Would be great to hear from you!

We are both active outdoorsy people, and so are both looking forward to embracing the Australian outdoor lifestyle! I also run and go the the gym regularly. Vince is very much into his Brazilian Jui Jitzu and cycling. We are both sociable people who would enjoy hanging out with our new house mates if we are sharing, but at the same time respect other people's need for alone time. We are very much looking forward to setting up our lives in Sydney, and can't wait to meet our new housemates!
