Hi all! I am a currently working on my PhD in marine ecology and am more than happy to leave the nasty Dutch weather behind. I spend my time with sports (climbing, kickboksing), love to dive and ride around on my motor cycle, but mostly like to explore what a new city has to offer. I will be in Sydney for a year, doing fieldwork, and am looking for a nice place to live with some open-minded people that love to be outside!
I am single, Christian, in my mid(ish!) 30s and looking for a reasonable sized room in a flatshare or my own place. I work full time in Chatswood and enjoy running or cycling to work. I like to live independently, but happy to spend the occasional evening catching up. I often work late, or go to the gym/run in the evenings, tend to be out and about at weekends, and am at church on Sunday evenings. I think I'm a friendly, easygoing, clean and tidy person and no one has yet told me otherwise ;)
Design architect, quiet, straight, mature, friendly, and reliable. Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. If you can read this, then I'm still looking! Have a 2.4m long table, so it needs to go somewhere :( If the room is a 3x3, the table will effectively use up 50% of that space, fyi. Also have 2 x corner chairs and a car. Don't need to be furnished. Speaks Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too. Career driven, I'm always busy with something work related. I'm also flexible with the location, as long as it is not too far away from public transport.
Hi there, I'm currently looking for share accomodation in Sydney. I'm open to living in or around the areas I've listed. Ideally somewhere close to transport into Central. I've worked in IT for around 20 years and now run my own business in Design and IT Management. Generally I'm quiet and introverted but still sociable. I enjoy an in depth chat, especially about the world, travel, or anything creative. I especially enjoy the company and conversation of creative and open minded people. Although I'm 47, many of my friends are in their 30s. I get along well with people of all ages and have good friends anywhere from late 20s to 60. I'm a non-smoker and a social drinker. I don't drink a lot but enjoy quality single malt whisky, good craft beer, and at times decent red wine. I also really enjoy music (live and recorded) and I play several instruments - mainly guitar and bass, but also dabble in any other instruments that may be laying around. Other interests include graphic and web design, UI/UX design, tennis, cycling, hiking, and generally getting out into nature, especially to the ocean or the mountains. I enjoy reading when I get the time, mostly non-fiction but some fiction to break it up. I haven't watched TV in over 5 years, so I'm well out of the loop there. I don't mind if housemates watch TV though. I eat fairly healthy meals and as such enjoy cooking my own food at home. I'm totally happy to make a little extra for flatmates if they like what I'm cooking. I've recently returned from over a year of world travel and about to start some new contract work in the Sydney CBD. I currently have a place on the mid north NSW coast in Port Macquarie and I'm looking for a place to live in Sydney while I undertake a work contract. Initially the contract is for 4 months, but has a likely chance of extending. I would be returning to my place in Port Macquarie some weekends as an escape from the city, but will be around all week and possibly some weekends in Sydney. I have many friends in the city so may be out and about some week nights, but will definitely be at home many nights. I'm up for a social game of tennis with anyone who may be interested and I enjoy getting out into nature, parks, beach etc whenever I get the chance. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people as part of this next phase of my life. Jai (pronounced Jay)
Hi Guys, Currently looking for a place in/around North Sydney. I work full time in IT Service Management in North Sydney, so close to work is ideal for me. I am respectful, professional and open minded. I am a relatively quiet person, chilled nights in are more me than big nights out. I am hoping to find similar people to me to live with :)
Wine and cheese lover working in the legal sector at Barangaroo. Fun, laid back and sarcastic 28 year old from London on a WHV here to enjoy the sunshine and take a break from the rain! I am a 26 yo male transferring within my company to Sydney working full time at circular quay for 12-24 months. I generally like to keep quiet during the week, combined with fitness, however enjoy a drink mates after work on Friday. Weekends are for getting out and about either socially with friends or leisure like bike riding or hiking in the mountains. Learning to surf is a Sydney goal. I have a long term partner that will visit on weekends only who is working 2 hours from Sydney CBD. I am very tidy and like to run a tight ship, have full house or furniture to offer if required. Feel free to message if any questions. Thanks Jarrod
This feels like I am writing a profile for a dating site, which in a way I guess I am except that I need to include my cleanliness levels (which is high, a good podcast makes any chore easy). Looking to move to the big smoke and closer to work, I am excited for a change of culture from the small Central Coast. Not a big partier but I do enjoy a nice night with friends and I am happy to both chat over a glass of wine or respect each others' need for space. I love to cook and travel, be active or alternatively binge Netflix and I am always up for an adventure. I know how important it is to find the right housemate and I hope that can be me!
