Hello :) My name is Manjari, originally from Melbourne, and I currently work full time in the Public Service. I'm friendly and social but like my own space and respect the privacy of others. I'm clean and tidy by nature. My current lease is almost up so looking to move into a new home before mid-December :)
I am 25 years of age and doing my final year of Masters program at ANU. I am very friendly and most of the time I will be at the uni. I am used to living with flatmates since, I have been house sharing during my whole undergrad. I don't drink alcohol or smoke but I don't mind living with those who do and want to have a lovely time.
G'day, I'm in the process of transferring to ANU for my 3rd yearish studies in IT. I have experience living in shared accommodation for the past two years with a large number of other housemates. I am excellent at staying tidy and would prefer housemates who keep areas clean. I'm a fun, laid back dude who'd be keen on getting to know new people. On my off time, I enjoy working out, surfing, bouldering, gaming, and all round relaxing. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am an avid believer of everybody needing their own space and downtime. I'd like fellow flatmates who are clean, sociable, and most importantly, good people. Open to moving into existing sharehouses or teaming up and setting up a new home. Unfortunately I'm allergic to all pets known to man except reptiles and fish apparently.
Hello! My name is Jess and i'm currently living in Sydney, Just about to start a new job in Canberra. I will have to give four weeks notice so won't be able to move in till the end of October. A little bit about myself, I'm 32, I think of myself as a social person even though I only know a handful of people in Canberra. During the week ill be working 9-5 and training most nights of the week. On the weekends I like to be active and outdoors, every is telling me the best time to move down to Canberra is now, since the winter has passed. I'm not a massive drinker but do love a dance and an odd night out.
Hello! We are a young couple from Indonesia doing masters at the ANU. We are friendly and easy-going people, hardworking and a bit of obsessed with cleanliness xd so we are always excited whenever we have to do house-cleaning activities (it does help to release stress from uni workload though!). I love cooking and enjoy watching films and reading books, and both of us are great fans of cats :D Always be happy to have nice conversations with everyone about anything. Cheers!
Hey guys, I’m looking to move in to a place in the inner north at the start of Feb 2019. I’m a psychology student at ANU and I’m pretty easy going. I’d love to live with some respectful and friendly people, I’m not concerned about gender, and I would ideally have at least two housemates (the more the merrier!). I’m clean and tidy and would prefer my housemates to be the same in shared spaces. I'm a fan of regular "house meetings" aka drinks (be it tea or beer) and hanging out. I love animals and will go crazy for pets! I also enjoy cooking together every now and again. If you think we’d get on, let’s chat!
My name is Tayla and I am a 21 year old from Bombala NSW. I have recently completed a bachelor of nursing degree and have secured a full time position at The Canberra Hospital which is a 12 month contract. I am an easy going and friendly person who loves to socialise but I also enjoy my personal time as well. I don’t have any pets however I love animals and would not mind having any around. I am extremely clean and tidy. I’m looking to find someone or people who are in a similar position and need someone to rent with for 2019.
I'm fairly quiet but I'm always up for a good board game or Netflix binge. I work reception for a physio in the city 4 days a week. I'm not overly active but I do like to do my own thing at the gym or go to a class. I love to show off my cat, Elizabeth. She does not work. She's 13yo and snoozes most of the day. She loves to be around people so having housemates would be really good for her happiness.
I am going to be doing an internship in the National Zoo and Aquarium in Canberra and am hoping to find a flat for about 4 months. I am fun and friendly and am really excited to start my internship! I love animals and have worked with them for many years. I enjoy hiking, cycling and play gaelic football so enjoy active stuff! But i also enjoy chilling out and heading to the pub! I can be shy but that tends to change! I am respectful, clean and considerate when sharing a flat.
Hi there! I'm Maddie and I'm studying Marketing and Advertising at UC (maybe at ANU next year) I am looking for a place or to team up to find a place, to live for at least a year. I'm a non-smoker, chilled, tidy and respectful of other people's things/space. I'm currently employed as a tennis coach so am away almost all day with uni in the morning and coaching afternoon/night. I love to chat and relax with friends but also would like my own time for things like studying and respect housemates privacy wishes. My interests include sports, gaming, sewing, movie nights and of course anything with good company (and cheese platters!) I'm not a party animal by any stretch but do enjoy the company of friends. I am also a avid baker and make a mean lemon meringue pie if i do say so myself. I have no problems with pets of any kind and in fact would love it. Please don't hesitate to get in touch and exchange numbers to chat further. Hope to hear from you! Cheers :)
Hey there! My name is Olivia and i'll be moving to Canberra January 2019 to start a BA in museum studies and conservation. Looking for a place just after the New year. Also looking for hospitality work if you know any :) A little about me is that I currently work within the entertainment industry as a costume/props maker. So I spend most of my time sewing/making things. I'll also be moving with my 1 year old cat Lucy, who is very sweet, loves treats and prefers to do her business outside. I have a preference for a house/townhouse rather than a apartment (As my cat prefers to spend most of her time outside chasing sticks and leaves) Looking for un-furnished as I already have a nice bed and large desk i'll be moving with. Location Im looking for a place that will be within bicycle ride of Canberra Uni would be amazing! But I also have a car so not a priority :) Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask :D
Looking for a relaxed and tidy household in North Canberra. I’m quite handy around the home, respectful of your space but do love a chat over a cup of tea. After working my full time job as a Law Clerk in the city, I usually watch a good Netflix series, cook a hot meal (spaghetti bolognese is my go-to), or bake yummy treats. On weekends I am part of the local Fishing Club so i go on coastal trips often, or I go back to Wagga and visit family. If not, I can typically be found wherever they serve a chicken parmi! I have a well behaved Maltese x Poodle dog part time, and would preferably like a room with my own bathroom or sharing with only one other person. I’d love for you to message me if you have a room that fits this description!
Hi there, My name is Jay. I’m clean, friendly, easy get along, quiet and respectful. I currently work full time in the car industry Monday to Friday. I like to do gym regularly after work and spending time with my family on the weekends, so you not going to see me much at home. If someone get the place for me in those areas please give me a yell. Thanks!
Quiet part-time stay at home worker with two small shih-tzu cross dogs looking for suitable long-term accommodation anywhere in the Greater CBR area. Conscientious, considerate of others, and respectful of privacy. Social as required, and always clean and tidy. References are available on request.
I am from India currently working in Delhi for the last 3.5 years. I have studied in a boarding school so I’m used to staying with people. I am accommodating and like to take care of my surroundings. I will be moving to Canberra to study a Masters in Public Policy at ANU in January 2019. In my spare time I like catching up with friends or read or binge watch something.
Laid-back 26 y.o. professional who enjoys playing soccer, going to the gym and binging on Netflix. I'm generally pretty chilled and friendly and won't say no to a few drinks now and again. I'm currently studying Occupational Therapy full-time and working as a renewable energy developer part-time so I'm normally pretty busy during the week.
I needed a delicious glass of Malbec to start this profile. If you don't know what Malbec is.....then listen closely. What you are hearing is the sound of Argentinian winemakers weeping uncontrollably. That was a touch dramatic... Anyway, about myself. I'm 34, full time professional and former public servant (now I work for a certain New Zealand based outdoor gear retailer). If I've learnt anything from living in 9 cities on 3 continents, it's that flexibility, a good sense of humour, and compassion go a long way. I enjoy a social drink and you're likely to find me in the kitchen with a glass of red and something delicious in the pan. And yes, I clean up after myself:) While I do love sincere conversation and genuinely like to connect with the people I'm living with, I'm also very respectful of others' space and privacy. If I've had a hard day I'll probably retreat to my room to watch Scandinavian crime dramas and possibly indulge in some connoisseur icecream. Having lived in a few share houses, it's about balance. I'm one of those rare people who straddles the introvert/extrovert divide (INFP/ENFP split), so I tend to get along well with both because I have both those aspects to my personality. Wow, this is starting to feel like an essay, so I won't keep you much longer. I'm just a fan of the written word, and I generally don't do things by half-measure. What am I looking for in the ideal room? Hopefully it's large enough to at least fit a double bed, desk, chair, and set of drawers. I would love to find a furnished room, but if it's unfurnished, it's nothing Ikea can't remedy (and watching me assemble Ikea furniture is amusing....like watching fur seals trying to go up a staircase. It's a trainwreck but you can't look away...) Anything else I should mention about myself? I enjoy healthy food, good books, good tv series, current affairs (I was an Asian Studies and Language major at uni), languages (a little Korean and French), exercise, and if it weren't for a somewhat recent MTB crash on Stromlo, I'd probably be mountain biking every other day. At the moment I'm just filling the void with some good hill-running. As for the kind of household I'd ideally try to find? A place with warm and friendly people basically. Watching movies together from time to time and sharing a drink and a laugh. Cooking in the kitchen while swapping stories about the insanity and the hilarity that is life. Sharing the load, everyone pitching in to clean occasionally in their spare time so no single housemate is left doing the majority of the cleaning. So, if you're looking for an easy going, responsible, down to earth, and kind housemate...please get in contact:) I'm ready to move from about December 3rd but I'm flexible. Getting in contact: I work full-time so the best way to get in touch is by email or text message. Look forward to hearing from you :) Cheers, Marty
