Hi I’m Madeline! I’m an American student currently studying in Sydney and am moving to Brisbane at the end of June to conduct research at UQ. I need a room for a little over a month and would prefer to live with people around my age. I’m really easygoing, clean and usually cave first when the garbage gets too full and everyone is avoiding taking it out. I’m not loud and will keep to myself if need be but I would prefer to have flatmates that like to have a few drinks together some nights. I enjoy hiking and being outside and I’m really excited to explore Brisbane!
Hi! I'm Iris, Dutch, and an international student Biomedical Engineering at QUT. I'm easy going, friendly and love to meet new people. I'm looking for a place to stay from April 27, preferrably in an international house. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions!
Hi all I'm a professional who's just returned from 3 years in London followed by 3 years traveling Latin America. I'm no stranger to house shares. Having only just returned to the city, I also want to get out and explore on weekends and explore everything the city has to offer. I work full-time in Milton and drive daily. What I'm looking for in a place: - secure car park - room 3x3.5 or larger - good views - modern/newish (nothing tiny though!) - preferably with gym/pool What I'm looking for in a housemate(s): - Someone that also works hard during the week and likes to relax and unwind on weekends. I'm not oppose to hanging out, cooking, sharing a wine, etc. I don't want to live with strangers, but rather with friends, and to create a home, all the while recognising the need for privacy and personal space. We're off to a good start if you're not opposed to the occasional wine and cheese, or board game night. Timing: - Anytime really, I'm not in a rush - referring the right place and housemates over something that'll do. I'm keen to meet in advance to see how we'd gel in the house I'm a non-smoker and social drinker. I'm open to male or female housemates - no couples Let me know if you want to chat or search together Josh
I'm friendly and considerate, and very respectful of people and living place. I work as a software engineer. I'm clean. I do dishes almost right away, and try to tidy things up more and maintain a beautiful living space. I prefer the other roommate could be similarly caring about cleanness. That said, I'm relaxed and not OCD about anything. I'm gay. I'd very much like to team up with someone here. Prefer that only 2 roommates share the place. Need one off-street car space. Would cook about 2 or 3 times a week. Preferred move in date is mid-end May.

Hi, I'm Natalie and I'm looking for a pet-friendly rental for myself and my dog, Angus (English Mastiff cross). I'm a 25yo ecologist working full-time in various locations in south-east Queensland. We're moving to Brisbane and looking to live anywhere within the Brisbane City Council area. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I'm friendly, don't take myself too seriously and can fit easily into household dynamics. Angus is gentle, calm and obedient. He is predominantly an outdoor dog although he likes to sleep inside at night and is house-trained. Please let me know if you have a room or private rental available and think we would enjoy living together!
I live a healthy and positive lifestyle, like nice surroundings and a pool. I am happy to pay the bond but need to know I have the rent shared....I have furniture and kitchen equipment but if you have some too I am sure it can all work for all of us . I live a busy lifestyle and love my down time and personal space when needed...I appreciate that others need the same. Please get in touch if you are interested in meeting .. I am open to other areas also.

Hi! I'm Laurisa, I'm looking to find a house filled with positive vibes and people who enjoy a good laugh. I am down for hanging out but also respectful of each other's space. I am pretty chill and keen to gain a new friends in a housemates! I don't mind sharing spaces with other people as long as we respect each other and can compromise if there is any issues. I enjoy the social aspect of housemates and the opportunity to make new friends. I am a decent enough cook so a house dinner once in a while would be awesome, even a cook off would be better. I am getting into yoga and swimming again, so heading to the beach is on my agenda. I work full time in the week so my chance to chill is at home, with an occasional glass of wine depending on the day!
Relaxed professional here. FT employed. Ideally, I would like to team up with someone and find a quality apartment for $250-$300 each in the city where I work (or close to cbd) - Gym & Work typically keeps me busy during the week - Weekends I’m usually out and about - I have a full house of furniture - Would prefer a car space but fine with street parking
Someone who keeps to myself but happy to mingle and get to know my housemates too. Focused on my own life and not going to be a dead weight hanging around making a mess. Clean, considerate and friendly. Am currently Ubering while actively seeking part time employment and have been renting in my current location for almost 7yrs. Easy to live with and enjoy a stress free environment. Prefer to live with people with some maturity and lesser parties and chaos. Still dont mind a get together though. Have a dog, Cooper is nearly 2. He's a kelpie × husky and approx 25kgs. He enjoys human company, especially cuddles. Generally sleeps if he has no one to bug for attention. Gentle and friendly with all humans. Loves to play, and will need to meet his furry friends first.
Although I am 18 (turning 19 in May), I am independent and like to keep everything clean. I like to think that I'm quite quirky, I love music and am outgoing. At home I'm very laid back and usually spend most of my time in my room, but will still socialise if I see someone. I'm looking for a room to stay at while I study at UQ and work part time. I have been brought up in Perth and have only just recently moved to Brisbane, so I'm a newbie to this whole process really. I have one female cat named Millie (3 yrs old), she is an indoor-only DSH grey tabby and is the sweetest thing. Although she likes to do her own thing most of the time (sleep!), she is very well behaved, has never scratched the carpet, has never done her business anywhere besides her own toilet and is no where near a demanding cat, so she will be completely hassle free! :) If you have a room that would suit the both of us, please hit me up with a message! Can promise you, I (and cat) will be one of the best house/share mates you've ever had!
At first I was looking for a place to live by myself but then I thought a little better and decided to look for people to share the house with. I am totally new in Brisbane and I don't have any friends there so I thought that living with other people would be a good way of making friends. I am looking for a home not just a shelter. Therefore, I think it is important to give more details about me so I can find a good match here: * I am 35 years old. Brazilian architect who recently moved to Australia on February after my permanent residency was granted. I arrived in Sydney, I liked it here but after visiting the warm and wonderful state of Queensland, I decided to move to Brisbane. * I need to bring my stuff (bed, mattress, dresser) * I like to party sometimes but I don't like to throw real parties at home, (unless it is a special ocasion). I love cooking so maybe I'd invite friends for dinner once in a while but that's it. * I can only live with people who care about having an organised house. No need to be a cleaning freak but considerate and respectful with others. What you do in your room is your business but the common areas should always be kept tidy. * I am allergic to cigarettes and I really hate the smell. Weed doesn't bother me at all but cigarettes do. * I would love to have a pet, I like cats and dogs. If you already have one it will be WONDERFUL but if you don't have and don't want to have, I understand, no problem. I can live without having a pet for a while.
Hi I am Michelle! I work full time Monday to Friday. I am a tidy person. I have just moved interstate from Adelaide. I have a Fridge, washing machine, TV and TV cabinet if anyone is looking to team up to find a place but I'm flexible. Looking for a housemate that wouldn't mind to have a glass of wine with me every now and then. Message me if you are interested:)
Hello! I am looking for my own private room, granny flat, studio or my own space. I am not open to sharing a room with others. I am okay with sharing a house or apartment but not a room. I am looking for a place to live in Brisbane or around the Gold Coast area. Non-smoker Non-drinker No drugs I like pets and nature 90% vegan (I am trying to be a better human being) I love movies, travel, photography, keeping to myself, making nice food, exploring, writing my blog and occasionally socialising with nice people. I am an introvert, so I do spend a lot of time on my own because I like to write, create, read and listen to music. But I am friendly and happy. If we live together, you will find me quiet, clean, tidy, respectful, non-intrusive and always paying my rent/bills on time. It would be ideal to share a place with 1, 2 or 3 people depending the size of the property. I have my own bed, desk, tall boy, 2 bookshelves. I can get rid of the tall boy and bookshelves if need be. Negotiable on rent, internet and electricity. Any place that is available need to be up to 10 minutes walking to the train station, maximum. Buses are okay, however I prefer trains. If you are nice, down to earth, respectful, non-smoker and easy to get along with, please let me know about what you have available. I am happy to pay for rent, internet and electricity all in one, per fortnight. Or we can work out the details later. I am happy to pay $150 per week for rent, internet and electricity. I can be negotiable on this but I am trying to save up to buy some land. Thanks and speak soon.
I’m a pretty easygoing housemate, I’ve been house sharing since I was 18 so I am easy to share a space with. I definitely want to live in a loveable but clean space and hence and pretty tidy in shared spaces. I enjoy catching up over a wine or coffee and would like a housemate who wants to do so too. I have a fluffy (tail less) cat called Nori who is very friendly and loves the outdoors hence I need a space with a little backyard or ground floor apartment. I work for Tatts group at Woolloongabba generally from 8-4, keep active with running and pilates and love music festivals, wine (red & white) and fancy coffee shops. I also love terribly cheesy movies and have a BA of photography that I don’t use enough. Furniture wise I have my own room furniture plus can contribute a tv, 4 seater round table, gorgeous big carpet and coffee table to the house. I’m looking to move to a new or established house with 1, max two people. Requirements: Own bathroom Yard space or access to outside for cat Quiet street Reasonable sized room Verandah in the backyard would be great Similar age (25-35) housemate/s Move date is by August as this iwhen my lease is up but if I find somewhere/one great before then I am happy to move earlier. Please contact me if you think we could be great flatmates :)
Hi, I’m Jay. I’m looking to leave my current enviroment as soon as possible so my move date is flexible. I’m currently aspiring towards study in Stage Management and Psychology. Not much of a drinker and I don’t smoke. I’m easy going and enjoy a laugh. I write for fun - ask me about my ships. I can also respect personal space when necessary.
I’m a 28 year old nanny living in Chapel Hill, looking to move out of my current situation ASAP either as a team up or into a place/sharehouse. I enjoy a social drink, cooking and just having a laugh when I’m not working. Looking for someone I can have a friendship with as well as a respectful, tidy and considerate flat mate. I’m super tidy, respectful and a really good cook with some quality jokes just wanting to be in a fun mature environment!
Hey all! I’m clean and tidy and love cooking big meals to share! My current share house lease is ending in July and I’m looking for a new place to move into as I’ve been at this one for a year and it’s time for a change! I like being sociable but also understand the need for silence and space. I enjoy watching lots of tv and listening to rad music so hit me up if you know of a room available and you think we’d get along great 👌🏽
I’m a full time 2nd year apprentice chef from the Sunshine Coast so I love the beach, cooking and eating (how surprising) I think I’m a sarcastic weirdo and I’m great to live with because I’m happy, extremely neat and organised. I also cook! So there’s that ☺️
Pretty Relaxed person, easy to get along with. I am an Events Supervisor for a catering company, I work irregular hours, but not too absurd. Keen for a drink or a chat to wind down when I am home, but also like to have my own space to escape to. I enjoy my scubadiving and my sports, as well as being as fit as possible.
