Hey I'm Dan, 22, full time employed in financial services, pretty extraverted. I'm relatively new to Melbourne and looking to move near the CBD. Would love to find one or more cool housmates. I like Great food, beer, wine & whisky and I'm told I'm excellent company to binge watch nextflix and drink cheap wine with. If your a fan of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones or South Park that's already a great start. I'm pretty chilled out, like to keep a clean place. I don't have any gender or cultural preferences on who I live with, as long as your friendly and good company I'm we will get along great. Also somewhere with a car park would be great.
About me: I'm a book reader. Tea lover. Cat owner. I'm laid back and easy going. Socially minded. I enjoy the occasional after work drink, a shared meal or just good food in general. I'm interested in the arts, science, Netflix. In my spare time I enjoy boxing, board-games and catching up with friends. All in all, as a person I'm friendly, open-minded and warm. I'm not fussy, but clean. Happy to be social, but also happy to give you your personal space. I don't mind sharing things/groceries, as long as we are respectful of each others stuff. Plus I always pay my bills on time. About my cat: She is very very house friendly and has experience living with other cats. My current landlord is also happy to provide a reference for her :)
I'm originally from Bendigo and moved to Melbourne about 7 months ago to live with my sister and her partner. Unfortunately they've both just taken amazing jobs in Adelaide which leaves me in a bit of a pickle. I'm a non-smoker, student and a part time worker so paying rent wouldn't be an issue for me at all :) I like to keep active, cooking and I'm a clean person. I love socializing but I also love my own down time so I'd respect your privacy as well. Between work, uni and friends I keep pretty busy and wouldn't be home a whole lot of the time but would love to spend time at home relaxing.
Hi Guys, I'm Jerry from South Korea! I'm working full time in the city in marketing field. now I'm looking for a room to move in! Because my friend is coming from Korea. So we are two guys who are very humorous, humble, tidy, and like to make new friends! So If you have room for us, Feel free to contact me ! Thank you!
Sian and I are a cute laid back couple. We like to keep to ourselves just as much as we like to go out and about. We currently live in a little beach unit by ourselves in Brisbane, but I've been offered a better job in Melbourne so unfortunately we are going to leave the beach life behind. Most work days we just come home, cook dinner, watch a TV series and sleep. Sian is into pole fitness and I'm into motorbikes. When we get spare time we like to take the bike out for adventures/camping/etc. Ideally I need a secure location to keep my motorbike at night (it doesn't require much room). We are hoping to find a comfortable place with a small number of occupants. We are looking for a nice sized room, we would prefer not to be crammed in like sardines as there will be the 2 of us in 1 room and we would both like to set up a small desk. Hopefully we can find some nice flatmates soon so that we can move down to Melbourne shortly after we get home from overseas in March. Thanks for reading
On my second year of a working holiday visa, looking for sponsorship at the moment. Respectable person, who enjoys a good laugh. I keep things tidy and clean, and respect everyone's privacy as I do like my own every now and then. Work within a health and fitness brand, and into my yoga. Also work within events and have my own website/blog. Never missed a rent payment, and have a full contract at work so don't have worries of where my next pay check is coming from. Looking for similar people, as it would be nice to hang out in the evenings and sometimes have group dinners.
Hi! my name is Eden and I am 19 years old. I am working part time in retail and also working as a reservist in the Royal Australian Airforce. I am an easy-going person who likes socialising and meeting new people but also likes having my own space. I am tidy, respectful and have experienced shared accommodation in the past so I get the gist of it all. My hobbies include cooking, playing guitar and exercising. I am looking for a place within the inner west/ inner northern suburbs, with close access to public transport.
We are a chilean married couple (Eloisa and Cristian), both 30 years old, Physical Therapists, clean and easy going. We came here with Work & Holiday Visa to practice our English, live the city, meet new people, earn some money and then travel around the world.
Hi, I'm originally from Sydney but have lived in Melbourne for 5 years. I work at the store Dinosaur Designs and am about to start studying again - a BA in creative writing. I have a degree in French, have been to film school, have lived overseas for three years... I enjoy a relatively quiet home as I do a lot of writing and reading, but also love sharing a wine, meal etc. Mainly go to gigs and dinner parties for fun, not really a wild child and enjoy home as a sanctuary. My main interests: literature, art, 3rrr/pbs, zines, films, nature, dance.
HI there! My name is Lucy and I just recently moved down to Melbourne to pursue postgraduate studies in Humanitarian Assistance. My passion lies in human rights and English literature. I'm a quiet but very friendly person. I will get along with anyone as long as everyone is treated respectfully and cleanliness is maintained.
Hello, I am looking for a room for myself. I like to maintain a clean and healthy living. I respect everyone's privacy but I am also an easy to talk to and a social individual. I like going to the gym, eating, watching funny stuff on YouTube and documentaries.
Hi I'm Huw. Currently studying Primary School teaching at Uni while working part time. I'm neat and tidy, respectful and easy to get along with. I've lived in share houses for the past 6 years so I know the drill. I grew up in Essendon so looking for a place in Melbourne's north/northwest, for 12 months plus.
I'm half English half American, and was raised in Singapore. Love films, food, friendly people. I'm a pretty easygoing person, I've never had any troubles living with other people. I work for Cirque Du Soleil whilst they are in town. Always up for meeting new people and new adventures.
Hey legends. Here's me at 33, trying to settle down, appreciate the small things, ya know? Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a drink and a sick party on the weekends but I'm more likely to find salvation in the pages of a book, the midst of a conversation or a meal on the stove than at the bottom of a bottle on a Tuesday night. I work 4 days a week as a web developer but I still harbour secret thoughts that the book I wrote last year will spark into a career as a journalist - that's what my fifth day is for - writing.
Hello, I will be moving to Melbourne from New Jersey USA to spend a semester abroad at Victoria University. I am hopeful that a flat will be the better option for me instead of Uni Accomodations and would like to find others that think likewise. I am 23, female and originally from Brazil. I speak portuguese spanish english fluently and study marketing communications (PR). I wouldn't mind having male, female or any other identifiable gender or sexual orientation as roommates. My biggest concern about living in a flat instead of uni living is that I wont make friends and enjoy myself so I would love to find people that are fun spirited, like to travel, exercise, but still enjoy their quiet private time. I am currently seeking a furnished room for myself (house/apt/townhouse) close to Victoria University in Footscray or West Melbourne area.
Hi guys, I’m from Taiwan and I have been living in Melbourne almost two years. I am currently studying a patisserie course and I will graduate in September this year. I am moving from Footscray and I’m currently on a student visa. I looking for room to rent. I am very easy going and very kind, keep a clean a tidy household and enjoy a good mix of spending alone time and socialising with my housemate. Look forward to hearing from you, Han.
I am looking for a room to live in while doing my exchange semester at the Victoria University. I am originally from Germany and studying sports at the German Sports University Cologne. I will fly over to Australia on February the 18th. Right now I am living in a flat-share with a boy and a girl, so I am very used to sharing the kitchen and the bathroom. I know how to do my cleaning duties and I will do my very best to keep the shared rooms clean and tidy. I like to have a nice little chat, a tea, some wine, a beer or a dinner together in the evening, but I also like to have some privacy, that is why i would prefer a personal room. In my freetime I like to do almost any kind of sports, especially football, running and climbing and I love to spend time outside the house, like going for a walk or having a coffe. I would describe myself as a curious, communicative and open minded person. Looking forward for your message! Vicky

I like my privacy that's why I am respectful with the privacy of others. I consider myself honest, easy going, tidy and resposible with the payment of the rent and chores. I like photography, board games, going out with friends but also I enjoy just stay at home and chill out. Feel free to ask more about me.
Hello! I'm looking for a comfy space to call my own. Looking for an all girls share house or granny flat for myself. I'm a full time uni student and work part time for my mums cleaning company. Money's good so paying rent won't be a problem. I don't have any pets or children, but don't mind if you do! I'm looking for a short lease, just so I can pick myself up and organise my next home. Bond money and first months rent will be available. I'm a smoker and do so outside. I don't have a car so close to public transport would be ideal. Any more questions just shoot me a message! Hope to hear from you :)

Hey! My name is Anja, I’m 22 and I’m looking for a room in a house/flat asap as per now I'm just extending and extending my stay at a hostel, and I'm not too keen on spending my semester here. My price range is preferably up to about $250 pw + bills, though I’m able to pay more as well. I’m also able to pay bond, and I'm reliable with rent. I’m looking for a place to call home whilst in Melbourne and would also like to hang out with you / cook dinner together / go out every once in a while if you're up for that. I’m not a heavy partyer, but I do like the occasional party. I have experience from shared living spaces and will happily take part in chores around the house/flat. I actually like vacuum cleaning and emptying the dishwasher / doing the dishes, so I’m happy to contribute extra with this :) Some more info about me: I’m from Norway and I usually study chemistry there, but I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree at the University of Melbourne this semester. I’m preferably looking for a furnished room, though unfurnished may also be alright. I’d like to rent a room until late June or sometime in July (whenever works for you). I love animals, music and travelling, and I’m a vegetarian (but it won’t be a problem for you). I obviously don’t have any household items to bring into a sharehouse, but I will happily buy / chip in for anything needed!
I currently have undertaken studies to become a youth worker, and am looking for part time work and I've had to depart from my full time job. I can talk your ears off but do also enjoy some alone time to clear my mind. I currently live in Werribee and have lived in Melbourne all my life, so I'm not stranger to how we melbournians live. I play sports in the summer and looking to return back to football this season, and I'm also an ex professional gamer! I enjoy a drink and a great laugh!
Hey! My name is Glen, and I've recently moved to Melbourne from Perth and am young working professional, having just graduated from uni. My partner (who has also just finished uni) and I are looking for a place to live to make Melbourne our new home! We are looking for a place to share with in the inner-city suburbs. Just a little bit about ourselves, we are a fun loving, responsible and easy going couple. We fit in well in any dynamic. We enjoy sports, movies, going to the beach, and travel. We love cooking, and are happy to occasionally make delicious meals for our flat mates :)
Hi! My name is Janina and I am from Vienna, Austria. I am studying Psychology at the University of Melbourne. I would consider myself easy going and uncomplicated. I like to cook and I have a passion for baking, so one of the perks of living with me might be coming home to freshly baked cupcakes or cookies. :) I would like to live in a place where everyone gets along well, but also respects the others privacy, kind of a - it is great to hang out together at night but it is also cool if we just stay in our rooms sometimes. I have family in Geelong, so I might stay over there some weekends.

My name is Andrew, I'm a student at Melbourne Uni doing a commerce degree. I'm 22 years old, relaxed and easy going. I enjoy sharing dinner and a good conversation as well as doing my own thing at times. I think I'm a neat, quiet and respectful person that's very chilled out with things in general.Partying isn't really my thing but I'll be down for a big night every now and again. I've got some house furniture to add to your house, a washing machine, microwave and a few pots and pans. Looking to move in ASAP as I start classes in less than a week (27th!!!). Shoot me a message if you think I'd be a good addition to ur house! Cheers.
Hi! I'm a friendly, positive, low key housemate. I aim to contribute warmth and care to the home and express a generous spirit whenever I can. I'm into nature and love to be outside, so if you're looking for someone to contribute to the garden or even get one started, that is me! Very respectful of diverse needs and flexible to create a wonderful and harmonious home with my housemates. I value clear, honest and respectful communication. I work a few jobs but my main field is disability and arts. Am 34 years old (but have friends ranging from their 20s to their 60s!). Non-smoker. Have car. Good with cleaning. For fun, I go hiking and engage in a range of creative hobbies. I tend to spend my weekends out of the house. I'm also working on a writing project, so looking for a generally quiet home - at least in the day time. Please feel free to ask any questions! Much appreciated. Best, Tan. PS I LOVE kids but for now, am looking for a home with adults. This isn't a strict rule, however!
Heya! Im looking to move to inner west-side Footscray area within April-May. Open-minded to central Brunswick near Greens cafe but would prefer Footscray as my new stomping ground. Looking to share with two or more people in a spacious bright house. I have alot of personal nik-naks and clothes so would prefer a bigger sized room ideally with a BIR to store all my goodies. A little backyard area where we can chill and even start our own veggie patch would be great too! Bonuses would be: An ensuite, depending on the extra cost of it. A fairly updated bathroom and kitchen would be preferable too! Overall Im searching for a spacious but cosy place that is more on the quirky side (rather than modern apartment) that we can all make our own little home abode. Me Me Me I'm about to start studying Fashion Styling at Brunswick RMIT or possibly mid-year. So will be either studying full time or working fulltime. I'm easygoing and a mix between loud and quiet. I enjoy chilling out with a home cooked meal while watching Girls or Fresh Meat or trashy tv shows like The Bachelor or shows like River Cottage and Donna Hay, all depending on my mood. Also every so often enjoy heading out for some local quality grub and a drink. Definitely keen on being friends and not just roomies however I also need my alone time. I enjoy various things but mostly happy pondering about life and chatting about things like art, fashion, design, food, travel, music, health, wellbeing, politics and the world! I've rented a couple of places in Brunswick and Fawkner and had good experiences with both houses/roomies. Perks of having me as your roomie: I love cooking; mostly healthier/natural options. Im silly and can enjoy a laugh, I like humour such as Ricky Gervais, Girls, Daria, TwentySomething, Seinfeld etc. Im mostly considerate and clean up after myself, ensuring the toilet paper is stocked up, my hair is out of the shower drain and if Im heading to the shops I will ask if you need anything. Holla at me if Im your type of roomie!
Hey there, Vikalp here ! So I am currently in Melbourne and looking for a place in and around Melbourne or geelong as I work at Ford down in geelong. I used to stay in Carlton, Melbourne before moving to Sydney, so I am really glad that i'll be a lot closer to Melbourne again. I have lived in share houses in M-Town and I am currently living in one in Sydney as well. I would love to find a similar thing again. If you are looking for something to possibly even rent together I could be the person. I will have my hands full working through the week so you probably wont catch me through the day but I will be down as your new take away dinner buddy, as I don't cook that often. My weekends would be basically catching up with all my friends. I love a social chat and a drink when possible ! I like being organised about my stuff and I love a clean place around, so I tend to always clean around and do my fair share of daily chores. So shoot me a msg if you think we can work something out. PS: Monday night is a game of thrones night ! And I bring my xbox along so we have an entertainment system for the house. Cheers ! :)

To tell you about myself - I'm a out-going friendly guy that's passionate about social justice and left-wing causes and spend a lot of my time when I'm not working or studying participating in left-wing causes such as attending rallies. Girl geek / tech freak by day, occasional DJ by night. I am finding my independence in creative technical opportunities whist streaming through the many sights and cafes Melbourne has to offer. I am looking for chill people to live with who like pets and music, look after themselves and have a life outside of the house but also like to chill and share a drink. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do, not fussed on what others eat or sexuality as its all relative, each to their own. Mutual respect is the way forward. Flexible with move dates, ideally early to mid March. Ideally looking for somewhere animal friendly where the people have a pet as I dont have any of my own and it keeps the good vibes going. Not a dealbreaker though. If you have a garden, that would be awesome. Again, not a deal breaker though. I am open to a sublet although 4- 6 months minimum is preferred.
