Hi I am 26 yr old female working at university of Melbourne. I have been living in melbourne from 3 yrs. Landlord wants to sell off my current place after lease ends so i am on a lookout for a private room for myself starting Feb start, though flexible with move in date. Preferred suburbs : essendon, moonee ponds, ascot vale, north melbourne, kensington, parkville, flemington and travancore. ideally located close to tram and/or train directly to city. About myself : I have a busy schedule on weekdays so mostly wont be seen around much...weekends i like to cook meals , go out and socialise with my friends. i usually keep to myself but if you need to hangout occasionally or share a drink or meal , hola ! i am a fitness enthusiast so bonus points if there is a gym nearby! i also like to go out running , big foodie and movie buff. I am fully sharehouse trained and flexible with any kind of cleaning arrangement. (definitely not a freak though). Not a party animal but can have friendly visitors at home for dinner on rare occasions. Non smoker, occasional drinker, lgbt friendly and most importantly, always pay rent on time. if you are interested shoot me message! cheers Ani
I'm a graphic designer and I run my own freelance design company. I work from home most days and also on the road a fair bit to meet clients. I'm looking for a room to rent in a suburb not too far out with people who are friendly and considerate and wouldn't mind sharing with a very cute and friendly dog. I'm a pretty social person, and love catching up with mates for dinner and drinks on the weekends or go for bike rides. I'll describe myself as easy going and clean and like to to maintain the shared living environment in a clean and hygienic state. I have lived in share houses for many years so I know how to be a decent and considerate housemate. I also have a 5 year old Japanese Spitz who is completely house trained. He doesn't chew except his own toys, and he's very laid back and friendly and doesn't bark much at all. He is great with cats and other small dogs, but is scared of big or aggressive dogs. But he will pretty much follow you everywhere and loves food!
I'm going to be a University of Melbourne international student in Feb 2018. not a party person but friendly, easygoing, responsible and respect personal space. I'm planning to stay at least 6 month but it's possible to extend it until the end of my study. my preference would be a house/flat share with private room but room share with single bed is alright.
I am just starting off my career in robotics engineering while spend my free time playing games, anything D.I.Y and of course going out for a drink or two with some friends. I love barbeques and anything chilli. I also love watching movies and a range of series. I am neat and tidy and I like putting things back in their place. I am usually up for a talk while also being respectful of everyone's space. I like meeting new people and finding out about things that I have no idea about. Apparently i also like writing in short sentences =]. I am patient, have a good sense of humor and quite open minded. If anything I've said sparks an interest, let me know =].
Pretty chilled out, as long as you respect me we will get along fiiiiine. 20 year old, country town gal (NSW), studying Marketing/Graphic Design at ACU. I am working at a bookstore in my spare time, and when I am not at uni/work there is a good chance I am at home. I enjoy reading, art and graphic design - and of course a good netflix binge when feelin' a little stressed. Love a good laugh and good coffee. I like to go out to bars and cafes (not much of a club person though). Just looking for someone who cleans without having to be 'asked' and isn't a reflection of my last roomies *cries*. I've had fairly horrible experiences in the past with bad roommates, so if you know you are that person please don't let me move in!! I would appreciate someone who cleans up their shiz, respects their space and has their head screwed on slightly. If you've read this far and I haven't scared you off, hit me up! I swear I am not an annoying person, just sick of people who don't/won't do their part and make living in Melbourne hell for me 💕
Hi there! My name is Zola, currently looking for a place to call home while I study. I start uni on the 12th of February so I’m looking to move in in the first week of February.I’m very clean, like a good conversation so I’m not really snobby lol, I like good vibes so I’m usually a happy person. I’m very open so I accept everyone and anyone even if you’re purple and come from mars haha. And since I’m always slaving away at home with th cleaning, ive become a professional at cleaning up as well haha. Occasionally I like to have a few bottles with a nice movie, or have a few drinks with friends or anyone I’m around as long as they’re comfortable, but I am also very respectful of others and their privacy.
I'm moving to Melbourne to study next year, so I'll be working part time and studying. I like music and go to a lot of gigs, and am also into sport (mainly AFL). I'm very reliable, tidy. and easy going. I like to socialise with my housemates, but also respect people's space and like to have time to myself as well.
I'm a software developer working in Docklands, originally from NSW (Coffs Harbour), and a lapsed physics major. Also, Mao (my cat) is friendly with humans and dogs (with a little coaxing). Primarily interested in a team-up with 2-3 people. Personally, I'm easy-going, tidy (shared areas, I'd be lying if I said my room was spick and span), and like music, chilling with a glass of wine and a good book, cooking, building things and watching the various social and political trainwrecks in motion (like is a strong word). I'm reasonably quiet and like a sharehouse that is too (noise after midnight on a worknight isn't ideal. Morning isn't as much of a concern, as I'm off to work pretty early). Also, bonus features: an espresso machine, Netflix subscription, pretty decent at baking.
Looking for a room early January 2018. I will be working full time in St Kilda and would love to live close to work or easy enough to commute via public transport. I am 27, a very caring person who will get along with anyone. I am very social and looking to make new friends. Not a week day partier but I do love a social drink out with friends or over a nice dinner. Favourite things to do on the weekends is visit friends, go explore Melbourne and play with makeup! Very respectful of others and their privacy but happy to also hang out.
Hi there, I live in South Yarra (near Chapel St) atm, now I'm looking for more peaceful and calm place. I'm tidy, positive and easygoing person. If you have any pets, this can be beneficial for both side, I'm loving them, happy to take care of them as well. Of course, in my remaining time after my job. I'm not in rush, I would like to move somewhere which I can stay long. Feel free to contact with me for any detail Cheers,
***looking to team up and find a rental together!*** Hello new friends, I’m a 32 year old academic moving from Perth to Melbourne for a research job in early 2018. I’ll be working out in Ravenhall Prison, but I’d like to be based in north-ish Melbourne. Because I’ll be driving to work I’ll need an off-street car park. I’m looking to just share with one other person, maybe two (I’m past my share-house days). Because I'm moving with all my house things (fridge, washing machine, etc..) my preference would be to perhaps find someone to team up with that doesn't have those things to find a rental together, rather than move into a room at an existing furnished place. I come with two indoor-only cats, my 2ish year old ginger boys Billy and Bo. They are fantastic, quiet, clean cats and being indoor they never get into trouble (except for pushing objects off counters, obviously). I’ve heard it’s not as hard to find rentals that allow pets these days in Melbourne, so I hope that’s definitely true. I would like to have the company of a roommate but also the space to chill by myself when needed. I'm on the lookout for someone similar, having mutual respect for each other and our belongings and all those commonsense things. I am not crazy (in the murder sense), not much of a partyer, but not adverse to going out for fun-times/having the occasional shin dig at home. In fact, I probably need to do a little more of that, make some new Melbourne friends Ideally would get to know potentially roomies a little (over the net or however) before living together, feel free to contact me for questions or a chat.
Hello! My friend and I are looking for a place where to live together and we want to share house or flat with people who don’t speak Spanish only English. Good environment. We are tidy, friendly, clean and fun.
Hi ! I'm French and I found a great job in Melbourne, as a leathersmith. I have a WHV so I want to take the time to discover the city and its people too ! Before that, I lived in two different shared houses in France : one year with 3 other girls and another year with 2 boys and 2 girls. I really loved these experiences and I think I'm a trustworthy and cheerful person to live with ! I love going out with people, drinking a glass of wine (or several), reading books as well as going to exhibitions or gigs. Eating good-quality food and doing sport are more a "project of life" than a current fact but I'm a very motivated person ! Another thing : My level of english is approximate but I plan on improving it, so I'm looking for patient mates ;) Hope we will get along ! Can't wait to meeting you !
I just finished uni in Canberra and I'm moving to Melbourne in February to start a job at a law firm in the CBD. Love to travel, been to around 40 countries so far. I love to play sport and try to get to the gym (but to be honest it's more of an ambition than a habit). I'm a good cook but awful at planning meals. I'm also a politics junkie and enjoy some good political satire on abc. I've previously leased an apartment in Canberra, stayed in student accommodation in the UK on uni exchange and made my way through countless hostel dorm rooms. I'm looking for housemates that are keen to hang out and chat/eat/drink but also realise I sometimes need my own space too. Regular house/family dinners wouldn't go amiss! Location is important but I'd much rather find the right group of people who have similar values to me. If you like binging tv shows, exploring the city, going on walks and bike rides and want someone who is friendly, clean, low maintenance and easy to live with, then I could be your guy. It's a cliche but I'm looking for a home not a house. "It's the vibe" - The Castle
We’re very relaxed and will 100% make payments. Luca won’t be staying every night only maybe once or twice a week, more if you don’t mind. He doesn’t have an income atm. Looking for people with the same sort of mind state to live with. We’re both finishing vce year 12 next year so somewhere that isn’t stressful is a must. Looking for a place no further than 35 mins from the city.
Hey everyone, my name is Karlo and I'm a 21 year old student of Psychology at Victoria University, currently on my second year of studies. I work in hospitality like most people my age trying to make their way through university. A little bit about me, I'm tidy, respectful, hard working, not a huge party person but I do like going out for a couple of drinks with friends at a good bar. I enjoy reading good books and binge watching even better TV shows. I hope you see something you can relate to and shoot me a message!
Very Organised, Tidy and clean! Hard working couple, very proactive, respectful and easy-going people!
Hey there, I'm Steph a 22 year old allied health professional starting at Caulfield Hospital. Will be doing the classic 9-5 during the week. I am a very tidy person and take pride in the place looking pretty. I enjoy a couple of cheeky bevs on the weekend but not looking to live in a party house. Totally respectful of alone time but always up for a chat. I love netball, a good book, dogs and food but not dog food. Also not a fan of drugs. Promise I am loveable and easy to live with. Looking for -Shared apartment with one other gal (or maybe 2), preferably within ten years of me but not too fussed -Own bedroom as well
Hey there! A few facts about me: -Mature 22 year old -Work full time -Volunteer at RSPCA -Animal lover (Dw, no pets... yet. Haha) -Play Ice Hockey -Enjoy a few bevvies here and there -Get along with people from all walks of life -Generally quite a clean and tidy person -Sometimes I'm an extrovert, other times an introvert.. it's all about that balance! -I come with my own furniture including washing machine and dryer. However not against putting these in storage should you prefer to use your own -Have been a renter for 6 years -I'm into fitness, cooking, art, tv -I am a friendly vegan. I don't mind sharing a household with someone that consumes animal products- as long as you don't bother me about my diet, I won't bother you about yours; except if you're genuinely curious about my lifestyle and want to know more about it! I have lived with people as such before. Don't be afraid to get in contact with me, I'm happy to answer any questions and will consider whatever you have to offer :) **Side note: preferably people under 30 years of age and female. ...BUT will consider living with a male as long as you check out and aren't creepy. For obvious reasons! Thanks for understanding :)
Hiya! I'm looking for a room to rent for a couple of months while I've got renovations happening. I'm a full time EA and love to cook, hang out with friends and go to the gym when I get a spare minute. I've got a 9 year old cat who's a bit of a battler but will steal your heart (and your food). I'm a bit of a cat lady, but I promise I get on well with people too!
Hey there future housemate :-) Just a little info about me- I work in retail/hospo and study naturopathy full time. I love dancing, the beach, going to terra madre and drooling at everything and trying new food places. My friends tell me I'm a "chill introvert who has good meme taste and is tidy" if that adds to anything? I am a super tidy person, can vouch for that! I'm looking for like-minded health conscientious people to live with (preferably). I'm also looking for a clutter/carpet free and mould issue free place due to allergies! If I sound like your type of housemate shoot me a message :)
Hey I'm Katrina! I'm easy going and fun, I love delicious food, outdoors adventures, exercise of forms, and a cheeky bev. I've done share houses for a number of years so I'm good at the cleanliness/chores/personal space side of things. I currently live in Sydney but will be moving to Melbourne in early January to work full time as a Physio at Werribee Hospital. Keen to team to start a new share house or looking for an empty room.
