I'm a 19 year old female student who is originally from England and have lived in Wellington, New Zealand for the past 9 years. I have recently graduated with a Commercial Dance diploma and am now looking for dance work. I have recently accepted an offer and I am heading over to Melbourne for a 1 month mentoring course with a professional dancer, choreographer and director. I am needing somewhere to stay during this time. This takes place in Spotswood, VIC so I am preferably looking for suburbs close-ish to the area. I am an outgoing, fun, helpful and trustworthy girl who is very tidy and likes to help out wherever I can.
I'm musical, artistic and easy going. I like my own space but I'd also love to have housemates I can socialise with, maybe occasionally share meals and hang out. I'm fun loving and friendly. I'm also very honest with the people in my life. When it comes to conflicts or interpersonal issues, I like to sit down and talk it out like adults in order to find a mutually agreeable solution. I'm a non-judgemental person, and I try to keep an open mind. I'd love to live with people who have a similar approach to life. I'm generally tidy and organised but I'm not too uptight about it. I like to live in colourful, cosy places.
Hi everyone :) My name is Gabriela and I'm 21 years old and a full time university student at Victoria university . I am looking for a private room in a share house with Females only. I'm looking for flatmates that are clean and respectful and who don't smoke or consume any dangerous substances . I am a friendly and fun person but I also enjoy my personal private space. I am out most of the time, with my friends ,family or just studying . I enjoy outdoor activities and doing yoga during my spare time and I have pet fish as well.
We're an easy going couple who has the perfect balance between socialising with everyone & giving everyone their own space. We're both bar tenders, and Andrea also studies at ACU (bachelor of education) as well as currently completing her personal training qualification. Brady enjoys making music & going to the gym during his spare time. We're tidy & look after ourselves, and complete chores when we have to. We're a couple who acts like best friends & we love meeting new people! We're new to the Point Cook Area, so a sharehouse is an ideal way to meet people & know the area.
I am a female 25 years old, working full time in marketing. I'm easy going, friendly and clean. I am well traveled, I lived in London most of last year and Sydney most of my life.' I enjoy socialising, traveling, weekend adventures and a good wine over dinner. Non-smoker, looking for similar flat mates to myself.
Hi future housemate 🙂 My name is Surangi. I work full time as a Project Support Officer in International Development Aid for an ASX-listed professional infrastructure and environmental services company and just moved to Melbourne from Sydney for work on the 13th. I'm a friendly ambivert who enjoys a quiet night in as well as the occasional big night out. I enjoy going out and meeting new people, trying new ciders (not really a wine connoisseur sorry, but hey more for you right?) and exploring my surroundings. But I also love to just relax at home - read a good book or discover a great new TV show. I am trying to be better about getting to the gym regularly but so far it's been a bit of a fail. I am pretty neat and tidy, and easy to live with. I also happen to make awesome shortbread and deliciously addictive Nutella brownies #justsaying😉 I'm looking to share a place with someone/s in their mid 20s - mid 30s with a similar-ish approach to life. Honest, upfront, friendly and clean. No couples or homes with pets please. Happy to go on the lease. My favourite thing to do in Melbourne is attending the Australian Open. And just walking around and exploring. I think that just about covers it, contact me if you're interested by messaging me here, Surangi 🙃
Hey guys! How are you doing? My name is Luis, I'm 26, Venezuelan, civil engineer, living in Melbourne for one year now, at the moment working mon-frid in the construction industry and studying a Diploma in Leadership two nights a week. I'm looking for a place to move in in about 3 weeks and I'm looking for something where I can socialize with the people that I'm living with, more than a place to only go to sleep and eat. This is something really important to me at the moment, I want to make some friends at home more than just live with some people that I'd never see. I'm pretty busy working and studying during the week, but I'd love to share time with the flatmates on the weekends over a meal, a party, some beers, a movie or whatever. I like to travel, hangout on weekends with the flatmates, enjoy a beer at home or whatever you plan. I'm open minded, always up to have a chat with the people that I'm living, easy going, clean and ordered (I like the places where everyone give a hand with the cleaning and housekeeping to keep the place clean and ordered as a home instead of a crazy dirty house). If I sound the kind of person you are looking for please send me a message or even if you'd like to know a bit more about me!
Looking for a place that is within walking distance to a train station (12min max) since I don't really want the hassle of owning a car. Hopefully, a shared house where people clean up their own mess as I make sure that I clean mine up. Currently working full time in the Western side of Melbourne. Outside of that I usually waste my time by going to the gym, city, and reading about useless stuff. Also willing to team up to find accommodation.
Honestly just looking for someone decent to rent and share a unit/house with, I'm looking because I wish move out and find independence and better work, I only work casual at the moment but am very good on a budget, I am a smoker, but as always that will not be brought into the house, I'm a very keep to myself girl, I would be busy a lot of them time, but will always be around to lend a hand with cleaning. I don't mind Pets either. Please let me know if your interested in renting and sharing a unit or house with me. ☺️☺️👋🏽
Irish guy moving to Melbourne. Very easy going and clean. Looking for full time finance work. Outgoing, so normally not in the house too much, love meeting new people and I have never had any issues with prior room mates. I love cooking for myself and others, though i am not very good at it! Really approachable guy if you do have anything you need to say. Moving to a new city, open to meeting anyone! Feel free to get in touch
Work fulltime in mental health, study acting, write for Froth beer magazine and a few music journals. Pretty chilled, single, date women (homophobes prob not an ideal housemate haha!) Have shared custody over two dogs so need to be all good with the occasional puppy visit. Enjoy a good yarn over a beer/wine/gin/coffee but also can get pretty drained from my work hours so highly value alone time as well. Clean and tidy :) Do not smoke, not a house party-er.
Im am a 19yr old full time student, I am tidy and will keep to my self mostly. I am always up for a drink. I come with netflix and Stan
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. I've recently turned 30 and am looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and to relocate to Melbourne for work. Came to Melbs a while back for a holiday, fell in LOVE with it and didn't ever want to come back to Sydney - so now I'm trying to make that dream a reality. Currently I'm on Newstart allowance as a means of consistent income but please note this is absolutely temporary in terms of my long term financial position - I am only on this momentarily to cover my rent and bills while I make moves to relocate cities and secure full time employment. I will be obtaining a full time job as soon as I move to Melbourne and am already applying for a number of roles - it's just quite hard to do from interstate before you leave, most companies won't take your application seriously unless you're inquiring locally. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. I completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socialising with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling a bit hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself occasionally. Really not a precious princess about things and am not into passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's house needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a party animal, though I do enjoy having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking /when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always a bit better for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move by mid April or so / ASAP if I find something, got a flexible plane ticket booked ready to go - let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
I am looking for a place for my cat and myself. My name is Romany. I work full time at Woolworths. Mt interests include music and reading but my big passion is Ice Hockey. I am quiet but easy going. She is a domestic long haired cat about 7 years old, very friendly and affectionate.
I'm very easy to live with - have been living in a family of 6 all my life - I clean when I'm bored or annoyed or upset - I'm not home often, but when I am, I love to listen to music, read, watch movies - I am currently working 5 days a week as a nanny in the afternoons, and as a waitress at a cafe in the mornings a few times a week.
Hey, my name's Matt, I'm 23 years old and currently working full time in E- commerce for a clothing and footwear company (yes, that means I have the added bonus of cheap clothing and shoes hookups). I love catching up with friends, drinking too much coffee, eating too much food and doing audio production work. I'm all for having a few beers and a boogie, but also love quiet nights in. I spend a large part of my weekends Djing in restaurants, beer gardens and lane-ways, mostly playing lounge and funk music. I'm currently living in Northcote and completely in love with the north side of the city, however, open to other suburbs if the right fit comes along. I've lived in share-houses for the past 5 years and love living in a clean homely place. Would love to move in with people that will turn into good mates, with necessary banter. I'm always willing to do my fair share, can 100% guarantee that I will always pay the bills on time and know how to be respectful of peoples personal space. I can provide assorted household goods if anyone needs anything. Looking to move before the end of the month. I'd love a chance to meet or grab a coffee. Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions :)
