I have a great taste in music and beer. Originally from Ballarat, I'm currently studying full time and working part-time in the city. My top 5 favourite films of all time are: Wayne's World 1 & 2 and the first 3 National Lampoons Vacation movies (Vacation, European Vacation and Christmas Vacation).
I've recently moved back to Melbourne from Europe, and looking to meet new people in this great city! I'm an ICT professional working full time in the CBD. I'm social, relaxed, a travel-holic and love cooking, dancing, watching films/TV, listening to all kinds of music and getting outdoors as much as possible! Ideally would like a mixed house of 3-4 people. Move in date after 1 August, but happy to discuss for the right place. Looking for an unfurnished room, no smoking, and good public transport links. Feel free to contact me if you have a room I might like, and a house you think I would fit into well. I look forward to hearing from you!
NEED A PLACE ASAP... Below description is way too fussy as I had more choice previously, I am open to a lot more now...please inbox me your offers! 29 Single (single mother to a 4 month old boy, who will not be residing with me) Looking to move out of home for the first time on my own. I need somewhere safe/secure not a party house that people come and go and is contatantly loud I need quiet, I need space, preferably somewhere spacious as I'm after something to share but enough room to live in spaces seperate where there will be no issue with being in each other's way. Ideally a two story or granny flat. Two bathrooms as I would need a bathroom with a bath not just a shower. So if it has an ensuit I'm happy to take a smaller bedroom with a seperate bathroom a main bedroom/euinsuit is not suitable for me for now. Space, privacy and decent size seperate bathroom, cleanliness is a must. Not to sound fussy but I'm not interested in a dirty loud share house with people that live in filth.. I cant stand filthy toilets, floors, kitchens stoves ovens and bench tops i can't live like that so if it's not neat and clean and well looked after (obviously equally) Must have cooling and heating. Am only interested in bills included in rent cost. I would preffer to live on my own but can not do that on my own straight away so I'm hoping to find a nice transition property till I am able to move out by myself. Double story or Granny flat with kitchen facility would be ideal but I am open to other offers. Do not want a room in a shared house with any more than one person, typical share house is not for me. Do not want a place where there are pets (no negotiation) I need to be in the West but am open to inner North West Suburbs of Melbourne so please don't offer if the property is not within that region of Melb. Must be close to transport, not interested in anywhere far I do not drive! Thank you.
Hi, my name is Jin. New Zealander born in South Korea. I've been in Aus since 2011 but recently moved to Melbourne. I'm a full-time social worker. I may look into getting my own place but considering sharing house while I find my feet in Melbourne. I'm mature, considerate, tidy and quiet. I'm looking for a place with my own bathroom and quiet environment (i.e. no music or TV noise at night). I have a car so I would like to get a place where I have relatively easy access to parking space (whether it's on street or off street).
For the last 5 years I’ve lived in a wonderful little flat in Seddon. Unfortunately, yearly rent increases have priced me out of my home. I really want to keep living in the inner-West or inner-North (I work in Moonee Ponds). I like to keep to myself, mostly, but wouldn’t mind sharing a meal every now and again. I like to keep my space clean and tidy.
I am easygoing, quite, clean, reliable. Professional engineer working in city and lived in Melbourne for 11 years. Looking to share house with someone reliable. I don't mind to share meal sometimes but I am used to have an independent life for the past 11 years. So you see me respecting your personal space. I like yoga, swimming being healthy and painting. I am interested in team up with another female to find a nice place called home. If you feel we could click please send me a message. Cheers for now
I'm 24, studying Visual Art at Bendigo Tafe. Looking to move back to Melbourne for more opportunities. I'm easy-going, clean, and friendly. I love music, art, walking and playing with my dog Taco! Exercise, having fun, reading a good book and chilling out. I play guitar and a bit of piano, am into fashion design, and I love to create! Plus I always pay my rent and bills on time! I'm reliable, trustworthy, and am also interested in teaming-up if you think you're for me, and my furry bundle of joy! Note: Not interested in a "party house", but a fun one all the same! Taco is house-trained, is loved by just about everyone, and isn't an outside only dog. He never smells poorly - cos he's quite clean, for a dog. Prolly cos he grooms himself like a cat! ^_^ Looking for a dog-friendly household to move into. So decent sized backyard a must.
Hello! My name is Kate, and I'm a full time Engineering Student at RMIT, as well as a part time Umpire for the EDFL! I'm looking for a place in and around the Essendon area, where I'll have my own private room that I can furnish myself, and live close to either a tram or train route! Would love to live with people close to my age (18-24) also! I've lived in a boarding house for 3 years, so I know how to be independent and cooperative in regards to living spaces!! I love to cook and clean and do household chores! I tend to get a few free tickets to footy games, so I you love your football, I think we'll get alone!
Hi there, my name is Chloe and I am 25 years of age. I am currently studying sport management/ outdoor education at VU. I work at Etihad stadium, MCG and Rod Laver arena on the weekends. I lead a pretty active and healthy lifestyle, but also enjoy kicking back watching movies! I've been living in Carlton for quite some time and am getting a bit sick of the city so am seeking the sea side only!
Hi there! I am a full-time Product Developer who has lived in Melbourne for 3 years and on the search for a new place to call home to be closer to work. I would love to share with some cool and laid back cats. I am an easy going and fun person who loves to travel - overseas, interstate or just down the road finding some yummy food, seeing friends or just keeping it relaxed at home watching Netflix! I enjoy a chat over a good cup of tea, wine or some Thai food and also respectful to personal space. I am very clean and tidy, considerate of people's space and more than willing to help around the house. I am a big animal fan so if you have any animals, they will get so much attention from me! (The cat in the photo is back in Adelaide and unfortunately won't be moving in with me). I have a car so I will also need a space for it to live also (secure or street parking is fine!). I will be moving with mostly bedroom things and other bits and pieces. I hope you find me as a good fit for your home : )
Hello! I am 24, female and pretty easy going. I like to cook and I am vegan. I am mainly looking for potential team ups/ house mates. I would ideally like to move out late 2017 early 2018 however in january 2018 I am going overseas for a month! I currently work part-time in the city, but normally pick up full time hours when I can. I study zoology but I am looking to change to an online degree. The catch - (if you want to call it that) is I have 2 cats (male, desexed), 2 dogs (one female, 10+yrs and one male 5+years) and 4 ferrets. These guys don't really require any attention from you and they are fairly well behaved. The dogs currently live outside during the day when I am not home, and inside they are in my bedroom so they don't require free range of the house, won't chew anything or mess anywhere at night. The cats are indoor cats only but are very affectionate and loving, Pickles who is currently 6mo old is very loving and needy (towards me at least), loves being up high and making biscuits (Kneading), Mouse, who is just over a year is a bit skittish around strangers but soon warms up to people and is very affectionate. The ferrets currently live outside in my garage, they are very low-maintenance and will not often require any interaction from anyone but me (unless you want to!) I get that this can be an overwhelming amount of animals for some people, that's totally fine :) ! I am happy to pay a bit more in rent if it meets my budget, or a bit extra for a pet bond or whatever.
Hi. My name is Sam. I'm a 25 year old Bricklayer who works full time. I am originally from NZ, but have lived in Melbourne for the past 4 years. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy a beer after work. During the week I'm usually out playing touch footy or boxing. I'm looking to get into a house share with some like minded people, preferably of similar age. I plan on staying in Melbourne for the next 4 months (possibly longer) before going travelling, so if you are after a short term tenant or think I would be a good fit in your house, get in touch. Also, my move date is flexible by a few weeks either way. Cheers
Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I like to spend weekends out with friends at cultural events (when I'm not working). When im at home i like to relax whether watching movies, playing video games, cooking or relaxing on my bed. I like to do small handyman type things. I am clean and tidy paying particularly attention to the kitchen and bathroom. I have all the basic furniture/ appliances to furnish a house. Cheers Andrew Cow
Hi I'm Lina and I'm looking to relocate closer to the city. Not too picky as to where as long as it's within walking distance to trains/trams and grocery shops. Somewhere nice to walk nearby (eg. park, river, beach) would be a bonus! I am currently working regular hours in admin, but will be going back to full-time studies starting in July. I'm pretty quiet, tend to hibernate in my room with books/movies/video games (...uh...and studies from now on, I suppose) when I'm at home and go out every other weekend. I'm fond of art (both seeing and making), music (I've learned the value of headphones early on, don't worry) and animals (none of my own but if you've got them - fantastic!). I like to cook, but only have the motivation for it 2-3 times a week so I won't hog the kitchen too often. I'm neat, respectful of other people's things and personal space, pro-equal-distribution-of-chores and I've never been late on rent in my 5+ years of shared living. Please let me know if you have a room for me! :)
Hi guys, I'm a 21yo woman working in Accounts at a construction company in Port Melbourne. I'm looking for home where I can relax after work with a glass of whiskey and watch some TV or ready a book. I keep fairly busy but do enjoy some time hanging out at home.
Hello! Looking to start a new sharehouse or join an existing one on the west side of Melbourne. I work 8.30–5/Mon-Fri in Digital Communications. Low-key during the week, but always up for a wine, chat with housemates. Me: Friendly, social (but enjoy my own time). I like good food and wine, cooking, getting outside, documentaries (and questionable reality TV, you know, for balance). Respectful, pay my bills on time, clean but not anal. Generally house-broken. Would prefer someone similar! I have a five-year-old cat called Mike. He has one eye and is very affectionate. Ideally the new place is a house, or allows him access to outside (which would mean no kitty litter). I travel occasionally so would be great if you didn't mind providing some food and pats.
I'm a full time Veterinary Medicine student who spends too much time with their head in a textbook. I'm looking for a sharehouse with chill vibes which I can retreat to at the end of the day. I come with my best mate Charlie, a 10 year old Spoodle X hot water bottle who is a heckin' good boy. He's a super friendly pup, is quiet and doesn't shed hair.
Hi I’m Brendan I am looking for a long term household to share with nice responsible housemates with my dog just as long as its a harmonious household. I’m 43 & just re entered hospitality after a long hiatus formerly worked as a personal carer in Aged care for many years. I am quite & easy going have a love of music & european films & book reading yes maybe a bit of a geek. I am looking for a household where we treat each other with respect & can keep a tidy house ( I am not a clean freak but a housemates record of leaving the dishes on the sink for 5 weeks is not for me) & communicate be social or have our own space if needed. I am able to move now but I am currently on a fortnight to fortnight basis for giving notice. a 15 kilometre radius to the CBD is preferred but not essential ( love the area around Williamstown where I currently am.) I can afford up to 680 pcm I am trying to quit smoking but will only smoke outside. If you just want someone urgent just to pay rent its best not to contact me. Lucy is a 8 year old Blue Heeler she would probably like to be the sole dog but she has lived with dogs before she is very affectionate & fully house trained she sleeps in my room the yard would need tall fencing & be secure she is not able to live with cats. Thanks for taking the time to read my add if you have a room or know of someone who my please message me ; I don’t have FB switched on my phone & no internet at home but will check daily so there might be a delay in my response.
Hi future roomies! My name is Savannah and I have been living in Perth for a little over 6 months and am looking to move to the Melbourne area! I am from Los Angeles, California and am here on a work and holiday visa. I am going back to the states in mid-October and am looking to rent a space until then! I am extremely clean and tidy, and I am hoping to find some people who like to keep their home that way too. I'm just as happy with a night in watching movies as I am on a solid night out! I like to workout and stay active, any gym buddies out there?! I will be looking for a job in the area once I find a place to live. Looking forward to meeting some new people and having some great experiences! Chat to ya soon!
Hi, we are a couple in our twenties, looking for a place to live! We are looking to move early August, when our current lease is up - not before. Both working full-time (between Melbourne & Geelong). Easy-going, tidy, love a Netflix sesh and a few drinks on the weekends. Cannot live with cats or smokers, due to allergies and asthma. Interested in both rooms in share houses, or someone to team up and find a new place together, so feel free to message us :)
Hi! I'm from Singapore and am studying a degree in Advertising at RMIT city campus.🙂 Generally i consider myself to be a tidy and quiet person during uni days and will prolly be camping in my room doing uni work or just on netflix most times so you can expect me to be respectful of your privacy. I smoke occasionally from time to time and also like to party every now and then. I love a mad hang/drinks session with mates and absolutely love pets. Ideally i would like to find a FURNISHED room and a place where i can call home and can hang out in the lounge room with cool house mates watching netflix etc or we can cook food for each other all the time and get drunk together. (p.s i've been told i can cook some nice stuff!) i love music of all sorts really however i am particularly a fan of rock, alternative and yea so on.. you get the gist of it. My favourite band will always be Blink-182! (i promise i won't blast my music or any blink out loud all the time so you don't get too sick of me :P) Currently living in west footscray and would like to move out soon to somewhere closer ish to uni or the eastern surburbs. However i will not be in Melbourne from 19 June - 17 July as I will be back home in Singapore, therefore im looking to move out either before Mid june or after my birthday which is 15th of July. Hope to hear from you future housemates!
