Hi, My name is Bimal. I am 33, working professional. My work takes me places. I like to explore the cuisine scene and love working out, (yoga et al) and keeping in touch with nature. I like listening to music (jazz, house, blues, trance) and dancing. I am a clean, systematic ( comes naturally with project manager role I guess) but a wicked cook. can cook anything that I like in taste, just need the right music and wine by my side. I am sort of geeky, good with computers, great with business affairs. I like to keep busy with my stuff, and don't mind socializing or staying by myself.
I'm a full time worker who sees home as a comfortable place to wind down after work, I'm clean and respectful of others space but am also up for a drink/dinner/chats on the occasion too!
Well I am pretty easygoing and friendly, and have have a good sense of humour. I worked as a journalist in Tasmania for about 37 years before taking a redundancy then taught English in some Chinese schools, and on my return retrained in Home and Community Care (HACC). I worked in HACC for about 2 1/2 years helping older people to continue to live in their homes longer. I have lived in Melbourne since the start of October last year mostly in share homes with one other person. I am living now in a house on my own at Hampton which is soon to be sold. My preference is to live in an older style house or apartment - I find modern apartments too small - I like a little space. I am passionate about dogs, I love dogs and regularly have walked one at Port Melbourne, and another at Middle Park as a volunteer for an elderly woman I use a bike to get around, although I do have a car. I love walking and cycling, and live music. I pay my bills on time including rent. I am responsible and can supply good references/referees.
Professional female, residing in Port Melbourne. Currently living solo for the last 2yrs, however lease nearly exp and keen on entertaining a change of scenery re: sharing & relocating! Prior to living solo, successfully shared for 6yrs with 2 others. In terms of my routine I am social and enjoy going out some weekends, however also enjoy my own company. Weekends consist of downtime, gym and I’m keen on the occasional wine bar, dinners out, exhibitions, gigs etc. In search of a home that can be my little sanctuary, that I love to keep clean but still relaxed and homely! I love to have a laugh and also retreat when it's been a busy day/week. I am respectful of boundaries, value having a genuine connection while sharing the same space and feel it's equally important to maintain our own lives/routine and need for privacy too. :) Looking for.. Great sense of humour, clean, respectful, mature, integrity, kind & warm! Happy to socalise together but equally enjoys their independence and very reliable when it comes to shared commitments & agreements.
Hi guys, I'm Wayne, a 26 year old Australian, just returned home from the UK and a working holiday. Ideally looking for a room in the inner suburbs, North or East Melbourne, $170 per week max. I enjoy music, guitar, films, art, travel, psychology and personal development. I'm an easy going, sociable and tidy flatmate. Cheers, hope to hear from you soon
Hey, I'm Leanne. I'm 32, from England. I work full time as a Dental Technician Monday - Friday. I'm pretty knackered after a tough day at work so I don't get up to too much during the week. I'm very chilled and easy going, clean, tidy and respectful. I like a few drinks and to socialise but also like time to myself. It would be nice to have housemates to share a beer or 2 with and the odd dinner... I'm moving out of my place as yet again I'm the only person that's doing the housework... I'm not ocd when it comes to cleaning just normal! Unfortunately my last 2 houseshare experiences have been with lazy housemates. I'm hoping this is gonna be 3rd time lucky! I've got a shy, timid cat called Frankie who is well behaved and house trained. She'll be a cool housemate too 😊
Hi there, I'm a 23 year old hard working professional in Port Melbourne. I work in the events team for Variety the Children's Charity. I'm a really friendly, no drama and honest person. I love to socialise with friends, go out for brunch, but also thoroughly enjoy staying indoors watching TV, reading a book or just chilling. Please message me if you'd be interested in getting to know more. Cheers, Hannah
Hi! I’m 26 and work as a chartered accountant in Docklands (which can keep me pretty busy!). I enjoy going to the gym, going out for meals & drinks but also enjoy my downtime. I have an 8 year old Silky Terrier so I’m hoping to find someone who is good with dogs. I’m super tidy and will pull my weight around the place. I currently only have bedroom furniture but willing to buy additional pieces as needed :)
Hallo my name is Tamara, I just arrived two weeks ago in Melbourne and I am looking for nice people to share apartment with. I am spontaneous, energetic, fun and always open to creativity, I love to interact with new people I meet.
About me Hey! My name is Natalia, im 28 and originally from Colombia. I work full time as a lead graphic designer in Prahran. I'm currently looking for a place in elwood because my family lives there and I spend most of my time around! Im pretty healthy and keep myself quite busy. I love surfing and being outdoors, so I wont be home a lot. I'm really social and love to be good friends with my housemates. Enjoy cooking and having a glass of wine every now and then :)
Hey y'all! I'm Vivienne and 25 years old! Looking to move out of the family home within the next month or two. I'm quite down to earth, pretty chilled however enjoy a busy social life with family and friends. I'm not a big party head but I wouldn't mind going out for a drink or two, once in a while. Keeping fit, getting outdoors, hikes, checking out new cafes and restaurants, brunch are some of my fav things to do. As I work full time as an events coordinator, I like to spend my weeknights mostly chilling out (mostly just cooking dinner/meals [YES CAN COOK] for the week & watching TV) as I do the good ol' 5am wakeup for the gym in the mornings.. so I'm pretty knackered. But hey, if you ask me for cheese and wine on a weeknight, I might say yes! As for the house, preferably looking for an an all female house 20s-30s year olds. Definitely value respecting the house and keeping it tidy, as well as respecting the people living in it. Most importantly, would love a good laugh and a house full of mates that can laugh not just at me, but with me. I'd love to find some peeps that are alike and hopefully, a humble abode that I can be completely comfortable and myself in! Slide into my DMs if I sound like the one for you... or your place haha. PS. I have an unhealthy obsession with donuts 🍩
Hey everyone 🙋🏾♀️ I’m Katie, I’m 25 and I am a working professional. I am the perfect person to live with as I work full time and go to the gym after work so I am barely home. I like being social on the weekends but generally nothing too crazy 🙃 I am a very tidy person who pulls my weight around the house so I expect the same respect from whoever I live with. I am always down for a chat but like time on my own just as much. I’m super laid back and don’t like drama so looking for a like minded person to live with as your home should be the place you feel most comfortable. Send me a message if you think we would make good roomies ☺️
URGENTLY LOOKING FOR A HOME ...I AM VERY EASY TO LIVE WITH AND HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR... LOCATION NOT IMPORTANT. I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom, and I am very flexible with the location I am more interested in having a home rather than just a room. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot the film 2019, I am in the process of raising the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home so a study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio would be helpful but not a deal breaker as I am looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a 13 year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates and budget. Cheers Peita:)
Clean, friendly and tidy Prioritise rent always. Moved to Melbourne last year for a change of lifestyle, to learn (silversmithing/ jewellery making) Currently living in an apartment and its unsuitable for this. lease doesn't end for a couple more months, out of the need to find something more suitable and longer term I've started the search. There would be two of us living in the property, we are good friends. He's great and has helped support me with my health, (Kind is an understatement) Hoping to find a whole property (2bedroomed) With a small space for the jewellery making, inside or outside is fine. I have a small parrot and some furniture, so furnishings aren't necessary. Happy to live further away from the city. Also considering sharing with likeminded People who understand my lifestyle choice, which is more relaxed and healing focussed rather than work orientated. At the moment, This is due to a personal Illness, which I'm working towards over coming. Able to tend to any garden work etc. whilst maintaining the property to a lovely standard. Thanks for reading,
Hi I’m Emily. I’m an executive assistant and work Mon-Fri full time with the Cotton On Group.... yes you can use my discount :) My job is located in geelong. I’m a social person but do enjoy my own company and space at times. I love going out for dinner/drinks, road trips, reading, fashion, interior decorating, listening to music or finding a good tv series to watch. I’m not looking for a party house and would like housemates who like to socialise at times and have an understanding of house cleanliness and tidying up after themselves... I have new living/kitchen furniture which I can contribute or store elsewhere. I am also open to team ups as I have everything to start up a new house. Hope to hear from you
I am a 30 year old male from the UK. I love to keep kit and regularly run, cycle or go to the gym. I used to own a bar and love to socialise and drink a few beers but I am trying to save a few $$ while here so will be watching lots of movies and netflix mid-week. I am a high school science teacher in the UK but looking for a different pace of life in Australia. I'm a relaxed and tidy person and will always be considerate to other house mates.
I am a very clean, calm, friendly and respectful student focused on finishing my schooling and get a trade. I'm currently couch surfing so I'm coming to flatmates to look for something stable while I finishing my studies and job searching! For fun I spend lots of time with my partner doing outdoor activities and I also spend a reasonable amount of time a day working on art projects.
Hey! Looking for something more affordable than my current place. I work full time in corporate so am out of the house from 7-5 throughout the week - looking for another young professional(s) who lives a similar lifestyle (and also loves wine. V important.) I'm friendly and sociable, love a chat after work, and dinner/drinks over the weekend. I do also appreciate time to myself and am very respectful of others' space and privacy. I've lived in several share house/communal settings over 4 years so I'm not unfamiliar with it. :) I am trustworthy, reliable, considerate and super tidy - being conscious of energy consumption from a cost perspective is really important too - so please only reach out if you share the same priorities! I have 2 beautiful ragdoll cats: a 3yo female and male kitten. They’re 100% housetrained and indoor-only, and so clingy and affectionate! They have co-existed with dogs in the past with no issues. ALSO -- Looking for a longer-term stay only (12 months+); hoping to be settled as soon as I find the right place and company! Ideally - I'd have my own bathroom and somewhere off-street to park my car. More than happy to team up if our budgets, lifestyles and move-in dates were around the same. Flick me a message if you're interested in catching up and chatting more. Cheers! :)
Hi Guys! I'm Ben and I am currently on the lookout for a new place to call home. During the week I am too buggered after work (8am - 7pm shifts) to do much but blob out on the sofa watching something on Netflix or Stan (yay for Rupauls Drag Race!) but I do enjoy a couple of drinks on a friday after a hard week to unwind (gin & tonic anybody?). In my spare time I love to garden and you'll often find me either at a nursery pondering whether I have room for yet another pot plant or at the Royal Botanic Garden taking a stroll. Previously lived in a share house with a lovely greek lady and her teenage son so I know what its like being in a busy household! Suitable flatmates would be ones that don't hide in their room all day, likes to have a chat every now and then, but also mature enough to know that sometimes you just need your own space! It's important to me that common/shared spaces are kept tidy but as for your own room well that's your private area! I know this is pretty standard stuff to ask for but at the end of the day i'm after a homely environment. If there's anything you want to ask me, please fire away! Cheers, Ben
Hey there I'm Rachael, I work in the city for a super property fund and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I have a happy disposition and I like living with other happy, chill people who know how to relax and laugh at themselves. A home that feels like a home for everyone is important to me. I come without pets, but I love dogs and would be delighted to live with them again! I need a warm house that gets sunlight, I’m not so good in the cold! I'm a social introvert, know how to respect others' privacy, considerate of shared spaces and treat home as a sanctuary. Anything else you want to know, get in touch :) Cheers Rachael
I am a friendly bubbly young professional who loves the gym and brunching. I am looking for a space where I can have my own privacy as I do really enjoy my own space and I also need to find a space with enough room for my shoes. I am clean and tidy and am really relaxed. I am always up for a chat with a roomie or even a Netflix session or a sneaky brunch.
