Hi. I'm a young at heart 41 year old looking for a mature, friendly, clean and quiet household to move into in November/December 2018. I'm a professional who is also training for an amateur body sculpting competition and studying part-time so I’m looking for a quiet, peaceful environment with a clean and functional kitchen. I enjoy fitness, running, swimming, reading, meditation, yoga, a large variety of music, philosophical/intellectual conversations, spiritual exploration (although I'm not religious) and getting out into nature, be it the beach or the hills. I'm vegetarian however the household doesn't need to be. There is quite a large amount of food prep required for my training so I tend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen each week however I’m mindful to work around others I live with and always clean up after myself.
MY HUSBAND AND I ARE FROM BRAZIL AND THERE I´M A DOCTOR AND HE WORKS WITH SUPPLY CHAIN. WE ARRIVED IN MELBOURNE ONE MONTH AGO AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO LIVE THE NEXT 6 MONTHS AT LEAST. WE HAVE A SIMPLE LIFESTYLE, WE ARE ORGANIZED, RESPECTFUL AND QUIET. WE ENJOY TRAVELING DURING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS, KEEPING FIT AND COOKING. I AM STUDYING IN THE MORNING UNTIL AFTERNOON IN CBD AND BERNARDO IS WORKING PART TIME. WE WOULD LOVE TO LIVE IN A QUIET AND CLEAN PLACE, CLOSE TO A TRAIN STATION AND TO THE BEACH IF POSSIBLE.
Hi, I am looking for an unfurnished room in a shared house with no pets. I don't cook as I mostly eat from outside, won't bother you but down for a chat sometimes. I like to live in a clean environment, also privacy is important to me as I will also respect your privacy. I am a full time electronics engineer. Please drop me a message if you would like me to inspect your property.
Hi, my name's Shaun and I'm working full-time in the public sector. Typically it's a normal Mon-Fri and I'll usually be out 2 or 3 nights during the week with sport or part-time uni. On the weekend I'll usually be playing golf or catching up with friends, sometimes heading back to Warrnambool where I grew up. I moved to Melb for uni in 2007 and loved the city lifestyle, it's hard to find a reason to live anywhere else (aside from Winter). I tend to veg out after work but do enjoy a chat with my housemates, my studies ensure I live a pretty quiet My favourite procrastination activity is cleaning so you may benefit from that! I've shared houses with bedroom hermits and socialites, flexible with either as long as we're respectful of each other :) Btw the reason I'm looking for a new home is that I need somewhere to park my future car. My current apartment doesn't have a car space and I recently found out the council won't allow apartment tenants to buy parking permits. So either off-street or on-street parking availability is required.
Hello! I'm Marianela, I come from Chile and I studying English and I work full time. I'm looking for a nice house to be transformed into my home with friendly and respectful people. I'm a clean and a friendly person. I'm responsible with the payment dates of the rent.
Hello! I am looking for an existing sharehouse in Yarraville or would like to start one with preferably a female. I am down to earth, friendly and am seeking a warm relaxed environment to call home. I like my alone time but would like to be friends with my housemate rather than just strangers so it would be nice to share a coffee together every now & then rather than just pass each other in the hallway. I work from home as a real estate copywriter but I’m often in and out of the house all day. I am wanting to live with someone who is respectful, clean and relaxed. I am wanting a house filled with natural light, adequate wardrobe space and in a great location within walking distance to transport & cafes.
Young, energetic people, clean and sociable. We're from the south coast of NSW and presently moving into temporary accomodation in Melbourne. If anyone is interested in teaming up sometime in early February let us know.
25 year old male professional working in the renewables industry. I enjoy attempting to cook, dancing (partner dancing mostly) and playing unhealthy amounts of video games. Key hobbies include writing, light exercise, reading, slow burning through Netflix series and playing all types of video games. Happy to provide a Switch with several party games as part of the arrangement. I am happy to join in on all manner of house bonding events, from dinners to nights out to road trips (no car at the moment). Looking for a room with space for a double/queen bed, my desk and wardrobe. Must haves include NBN (see: video games) and aircon. Also have the flexibility to have my partner stay over on weekends (not every weekend, just some). Looking forward to hearing from you
I'm a Brit in Australia on a Working Holiday. I'm very tidy, chilled and easy to get on with. I'm vegetarian and love cooking so I'm happy to throw together meals for the house! Really into music and going to gigs, I try to play a lot of sport and generally being out the house doing things. I'm a Cameraman and Video Editor by trade so going to see how that goes in Melbourne. I'll have some income from renting my place out in the UK so can definitely cover rent over in Australia.
Lu & I are finished with our solo living adventures and looking for a/some housemates to move in with! Either looking for a room to rent, or a person/people to move into a share house with. We’re looking for a bright, airy place with either a big balcony or backyard area. I’m out of the house usually 830 – 7 Monday - Friday at work in. Lu usually keeps herself busy during the day usually sleeping or running around in circles. We appreciate a vino or two in the evening but aren’t great cooks. We come with some furniture, minimal cutlery and a lot of beautiful plants.
I am a great person to live with because I am a fun friendly clean and tidy, 22 year old kiwi girl I love meeting new people and making friends, im not loud I will help out around the house also, always up for a movie night or a few drinks on the weekend and I am very relaxed.I do like going out for a few drinks and having a party but I am respectable about it. I work as a beauty advisor at Benefit cosmetics and only moved to Melbourne in March and have fell in love with the place.
Hey! I'm currently living in Adelaide but wanting to be in Melbourne at the start of December (5th/6th). I'm a very laid back, bubbly, social person who gets along with basically anyone! I'm always up for a chat and some wines but also love a good Netflix binge! I love anything outdoorsy- beach, hikes, camping etc! I have a few friends in Melbourne and some family but not too many so id love to move into a place that I can meet some people and form some for friendships :) I work in child protection as a youth worker- its 24/7 rostering so you would have to be ok with weird hours sometimes (24 hour shifts in some cases) but that also means that you will probabaly get time to yourself alot as well :) look forward to hearing from you!
I am a country girl at heart, however been living in Melbourne for the last 5 years. I have my own business so I keep very busy with that. During the week I am pretty low key although enjoy a good chat over a glass or wine and consider myself pretty laid back. One weekend I usually keep pretty social and like to keep active out and about without being a wild party animal. I'm very respectful of others space and cleanliness. I am the sort of person that would be happy to drive flatmates somewhere if free and love to cook. I love catching up with mates for brunch or dinner and hope to find that too in a flatmate should they want to on a whim get out of the house. Some of my previous flatmates have become lifelong friends so I hope that suggest im ok to live with.
Hey! I work full time as a Venue Coordinator at Melbourne Showgrounds (potential free tickets 🙂). I'm house trained and sociable. Enjoy cooking and socialising but just as happy to kick back with a good show and take out (currently watching Power and The Sinner). Enjoy getting out on the weekends and exploring new places and working on my awful surfing or golfing techniques. I own a car and am happy with on street parking. Looking for somewhere social and respectful. House doesn't have to be immaculate but if everyone is doing their share of the cleaning that's perfect 🙂. Talk soon, Cole
Hi guys, I'm very quiet and laid back, and while I do pretty much keep to myself I do enjoy a good chat with a rum&dry in my hand. I work full time in the city and I tend to spend my weekends home unwinding watching soccer on my laptop, or heading out for a bike ride with mates. **Not really fussed with moving dates, I just had to enter a date in my listing. **Not really fussed with length of stay but I know It'll be a minimum 6 months & most likely longer.
Hi there, Vikalp here ! So with my current lease running out, I am looking for a place in and around Yaraville. I am currently working in Ford Geelong, but looking to stay somewhere closer to my friends and the city. I have lived in shared houses in Melbourne/Sydney and am currently living in one as well. I would love to find a similar thing. If you are looking for something to possibly even rent together I could be the person. I have my hands full working through the week so you probably wont catch me through the day. My weekends are mostly spent catching up with all my friends. If not I'll be exploring things in and around area. I love a social chat and a drink when possible. I like being organised about my stuff and I love a clean place around, so tend to always clean around and do my fair share of daily chores. So shoot me a message if you think we can work something out. Cheers ! :)
Hey, my name is Ajay (30, born & raised in Melbourne). Working full time in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
